Teen Titans: 3rd Season Rewrite

Chapter 7: How Long is Forever?

Act I

It all started one day when the sun rose up an alarm rang out, waking Starfire up as she opened her eyes with a gasp and then squeezed them shut excitedly.

"The day has arrived!", Starfire spoke excitedly before she turned off her alarm clock, which was ironically shaped like the Amazing Mumbo, sitting on her dresser.

Afterwards, she gave a slight giggle as she opened the drawer and then got out a pile of toys and party favors before then going over to Terra's room just in time to see her looking at a picture of herself and her siblings that are obscured and feeling a little homesick when she spoke up.

"Happy Blorthog.", Starfire greeted, prompting Terra to turn to see her.

"Starfire? Wh-what are you doing here?", Terra asked in puzzlement, her tears still present.

"I came here to invite you to the Blorthog activities, but…I can sense something troubles you. Do you wish to participate later?", Stafire asked.

"Thanks, Starfire. I'll join later.", Terra responded, wiping a tear from her eye.

peeking out cautiously behind the door, looking back and forth, before giggling as she then snuck across the walls, alternating between a wall with one or two steps before then venturing out, only to drop a gift and then pick it back up before making her way past the stairs with the beaming Starfire stepping in through the main door, which opened, before she shouted as hearts floated up around her face.

"HAPPY BLORTHOG!", Starfire shouted before noticing something puzzling as a question mark appeared by her head.

Frankly, Cyborg and Beast Boy were playing against each other as in a sort of racing game as Raven was far away on one side and Robin on another next to the boombox.

"Come on, Beast Boy, gimme that thing!", Cyborg shouted.

"Dude! I'm in the middle of a game, Cyborg!", Beast Boy exclaimed.

"Yeah, my game, 'cause it's my turn!", Cyborg argued.

"Give me the controller!", Beast Boy shouted.

"No! Let go!", Cyborg shouted as Starfire walked in.

"It is my turn!", Beast Boy argued.

"Friends! We must frolic and leap in glorious celebration, for today is Blorthog, the Tamaranean festival of friendship!", Starfire shouted as roses bloomed around her, grinning, before Starfire realized that no one was paying attention to her and became disgruntled before looking left and right, dropping all the items except for a couple strands of jingle bells hanging from her wrists before turning to Cyborg and Beast Boy.

Joyous greeting, friend! I, Starfire, give you this tinnabula as a symbol of…", Starfire began before Beast Boy's tentacle wrapped itself around Cyborg.

"You're gonna pay for that, you little grass stain!", Cyborg exclaimed as he was pulled back before then getting pummeled, much to Starfire's surprise before looking away as Beast Boy, in frog form, hopped away with the controller in his mouth, laughed as he reverted back, and started playing again.

"Many blessings, friend. May your ears be filled with sugar candies and…", Starfire began as she handed a strand of jingle bells to him before Cyborg called out to him from nearby.

"BEAST BOY!", Cyborg shouted.

"Look! I'll give you back the controller as soon as Raven gives back my nail clippers!", Beast Boy yelled in response, earning a furious growl from Cyborg before he grabbed Beast Boy and yanked him away with the aforementioned floating near Raven, coated with black magic.

"Not gonna happen. How else am I supposed to keep your toenails off the coffee table?", Raven refused before Starfire held the bells out to her.

"Happiness and delight, friend. On this wondrous day, I wish you sunshine and bunny…", Starfire began before Raven's eyebrow twitched as a skull popped up near her head, prompting Starfire to back away nervously.

"Robin, could the music be a little louder? I can still hear myself think.", Raven spoke sarcastically, a vein bulging in her forehead before Starfire then went over to Robin, about to offer him the bells, not knowing that Robin was glaring at the free-for-all going on at the vicinity of the couch.

"I only turned the music up to drown out all the yelling!", Robin explained with a shout, which not only caused his face to turn red, but also had enough force to blow Starfire's hair back before Starfire grew very tired of the chaos as she was seen on close-up, holding a string of bells with Robin's throbbing head in the top left of the red background and Raven's at the top right before a laughing Beast Boy ran with the controller as Cyborg went after him just behind Starfire before Cyborg finally caught him and grabbed the controller.

"Whose turn is it now, tough guy? Whose turn is it now?", Cyborg smirked before Robin shouted, the flames practically spurting out flames.

"Knock it off! I can't work with you two acting like idiots!", Robin shouted.

"Great, Robin. More yelling will definitely stop all the yelling.", Raven responded sarcastically before Robin growled at Raven just as Cyborg ran with a scream, holding the controller as he was being chased by Beast Boy in bear form before Cyborg ran up to the jingle bells and practically danced on the bells, holding the controller, after Beast Boy stopped to take a breath, reverting back to human form.

"Friends, please! You must not, if we could simply, happy Blor…", Starfire began just as Terra appeared and peeped over just before the bells all broke apart with Cyborg falling down before bouncing all over the place in slow motion, the tamaranian's shock giving way to anger before she explodes, try as she might to contain her anger.

"STTTTTOOOOOPPPPP! Friends must never behave this way, and especially not on Blorthog! Do you wish to invite the Rekmas?", Starfire asked.

"Gesundheit?", Beast Boy puzzled.

"What's the Rekmas?", Terra asked.

"On my world, 'Rekmas' means 'the Drifting.' The point at which close friends begin to drift apart, and their friendship begins to die.", Starfire explained sadly as all but 6 titan's images faded to black with 5 out of 6 floating away in different directions with Starfire then fading away as well.

"Aw, come on, Starfire.", Cyborg spoke.

"We are so not Rek-whatever-ing.", Beast Boy assured.

"We're getting on each other's nerves a little. Big deal.", Raven added.

"Yeah. This is just typical roommate stuff. We're not going to drift apart, Star. I promise. We'll all be friends forever.", Robin assured.

"Forever?", Starfire asked.

"Yeah. Sorry I didn't join you in the festival sooner. It's just that…I was feeling homesick. And I miss my family.", Terra responded sadly.

"It is all right, Terra. I know what it is like to feel the homesick.", Starfire assured.

"Really?", Terra puzzled.

"Indeed. I'm sure you will reunite soon enough.", Starfire assured before a beeping sound came up, emitting from Robin's communicator as he picked it up and pulled it out of his belt, the T on the outer casing flashing red.

"Titans! Trouble!", Robin shouted before all except Terra and Starfire, the former of which turned to Starfire.

"I'll get Rose and see if she'll help.", Terra assured before Starfire followed Robin and the others out of the operation center with Terra glancing down at the broken bells on the ground near a string she had dropped.

Act II

Outside Jump City, at the museum, there was a gallery filled with ticking clocks from many historical periods, but there is one on a particular display case by the far wall hat stands above all the rest: The Clock of Eternity. Just then, a portal of white light opened up and turned black after a moment as if a second hand had just swept across it. Out stepped a goateed man in black armor, with gold reinforcements at wrists and ankles; he also wears a gold breastplate and helmet that leaves his face exposed. His name is Warp.

Inside the small clock in a cylindrical gold housing, resided an assembly of parts that could be a model of a solar system.

"Hey, stop!", the guard shouted before Warp turned to see the two armed guards aiming their blasters at him.

"Stop yourselves!", Warp responded as he then waved his hand, encasing the two guards in ice, freezing them before turning back to the case and started reaching for it.

"I didn't journey back in time one hundred years to squabble, I came to steal. The Clock of Eternity. Valuable in the past, priceless in the future.", Warp spoke before his hand was suddenly deflected back by one of Robin's discs, with he and the other 5 titans, joined by Rose at the balcony railing as one if the discs landed in the floor

"But for the present, you'll keep your filthy hands off it.", Robin responded.

"The Teen Titans. This is a treat. I read all about you in the historical archives. And now, you're all history!", Warp responded as each laser appeared on each shoulder before he opened fire.

"Titans! Go!", Robin shouted before he and the others leapt off the railing to avoid the blasts with Warp concentrating his firepower on Robin, who deflected the blasts with his staff until knocked back by the blast, which broke his staff in two before Starfire and Rose appeared and fired their own blasts with Rose's being fired from her Thermal blaster while Starfire's blasts were starbolts as Beast Boy, in lion form, and Terra followed them before Warp deflected the blasts headed for him, knocking the two back with Terra and Beast Boy lunging toward Warp, who then fired a sort of taser-like blaster, which zapped both Terra and Beast Boy, the former of which twitched in pain before Raven shouted to Warp.

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!", Raven shouted before then flinging the two displays toward Warp, who then repelled them with his arms and fired a laser at her, knocking Raven back before Cyborg fired his own blast at Warp with a smirk.

"Boo-yah!...Huh?", Cyborg puzzled as the dust cleared to show that Warp had already raised his force field and then tossed a sort of timer toward Cyborg before it latched on, went off, and then sent out sparks all across the titan.

"Draining my power cell…!", Cyborg groaned in pain.

"You cannot defeat Warp. I am from the future.", Warp spoke as he held up a disc before then tossing it toward Robin, who tossed his own discs at it only for one of them to get broken apart before he, Starfire, and Rose were forced to dodge it before it hit the window and exploded.

"And you relics are one hundred years out of date.", Warp added before then going for the display, phasing his hand through it in order to grab the clock of eternity, and making off with it as a portal appeared in front of him when he pressed the center badge on his chest.

"Ta-ta, Titans. I have enjoyed our time together, but I've got a very bright future ahead of me.", Warp responded.

"Not yet, you don't!", Rose shouted in response before she and Starfire both leapt toward Warp, much to his surprise as Starfire roared in a fury, flying straight at him.

"What?", Warp puzzled before both Starfire and Rose pushed Warp through the portal, stepping in along with him before the portal closed with Robin going after them only for it to close on him, leaving only him, Terra, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy.

"Starfire!", Robin shouted.

"Rose!", Terra shouted at the same time.

"Um, where did they go?", Beast Boy puzzled.

Meanwhile, in an apparent area with numerous clocks, Starfire and Rose were still pushing against Warp.

"Let go!", Warp shouted.

"And let you get away with stealing it? Are you nuts?", Rose responded.

"You have endangered my friends and ruined Blorthog!", Starfire added.

"Uh, yeah. That, too.", Rose responded.

"Stop! If you damage the suit before we reach my future…,", Warp began before Starfire grabbed the badge on his chest and pulled it out, causing a white light to shine.

"No!", Warp shouted before Starfire and Rose were forced back a bit as Warp screamed, falling away with the area around him being blacked out before the two girls suddenly found themselves falling down and landing on the snowy ground.

When they stood up, Starfire and Rose were quickly overcome with a shivering feeling from the snow.

"What the…? Snow?", Rose puzzled.

"What has happened? Why is it cold? And where are our…", Starfire began before she and Rose looked up to see the tower, whose windows are now all dark and drifted deep with snow at the sills, especially the main window, which is now broken.

"...friends?", Starfire finished.

"Whatever happened up there, it sure isn't good.", Rose responded.

Inside the tower, with the device she tore from Warp's armor clipped to her belt, Starfire and rose went inside, looking around, even noticing a hole on the ceiling where snow fell down.

"Friends? Hello? Friends? Hello!", Starfire shouted before then prying open a door to find the operation center in ruins before she and Rose walked forward, passing by a GameStation controller, the very thing that started it all with such a heated argument between Beast Boy and Cyborg, not to mention a few rusted bells before Starfire picked one of them up only for it to crack apart into pieces in her palm.

"Did something happen?", Rose asked.

"I… do not know.", Starfire responded before suddenly, they heard whirring noises and turned to see a red light in the dark background.

"Cyborg!", Starfire shouted.

But the red dot didn't move an inch.

"Uh, Star? I don't think that's him.", Rose responded.

"Oh, Cyborg, thank goodness you are…", Starfire began as she held up a blast as a flashlight only to see an entirely mechanical body with an especially mechanical, electronic brain, prompting Starfire to cry out in fear before firing the blast at the brain, destroying it before several more like it, only more spider-like, crawled, urging more rapid fired out of fear.

"Yo!", a familiar voice called out before Starfire and Rose turned around and saw what now appeared to be an older Cyborg, whose armored panels are now either damaged or missing with the blue lights that used to glow in his circuitry now burned out and thick cables connected to his back, who armed himself with a pipe.

"Who's up here blasting my...?!", Future Cyborg began before he stopped just as quickly, lowered the pipe, and stared dumbfounded.

"Star? Rose?", Future Cyborg asked in surprise before the pipe slipped from his fingers and clattered to the floor with Future Cyborg then looking at the two in amazement, although it revealed that he had to replace his leg recently.

"Starfire. Rose. I don't believe it. You...you two haven't aged a day!", Future Cyborg spoke in wonder.

"Cyborg, what happened? Why are...you...?", Rose began.

"Old? Well, that's what happens to folks when you go away for twenty years.", Future Cyborg responded with a smile and walked over to the operations center.

"Twenty years?!", Starfire exclaimed in surprise.

"You and Rose disappeared, Star. That battle with Warp, that was a long time ago. You two fell through a wormhole, and...", Future Cyborg responded as he slid some junk aside before looking out the cracked window to show a full view of Jump City, covered under a blanket of snow.

"Welcome to the future.", Future Cyborg spoke.

"The future?", Rose spoke in surprise before Starfire removed the badge form her belt.

"But I damaged his technology.", Starfire spoke before Future Cyborg then grabbed the badge and took a look at it.

"Warp was planning to jump ahead one hundred years, right? Looks like you two stopped him at twenty.", Future Cyborg guessed as Starfire got it back.

"Still, this doesn't make any sense. Why do you look so old-fashioned? No offense.", Rose asked.

"None taken. And let's just say things haven't gone so well since you left.", Future Cyborg responded.

"But what about the others? Where are our friends?", Rose asked.

"The Titans are history, Rose. Your friends aren't friends anymore.", Future Cyborg responded.

"No. You are wrong. This...everything is wrong! How could such terrible things...", Starfire began before then looking at the badge in her hand.

"Warp! His interference in the past must have changed our future.", Starfire spoke.

"Star, I don't think it's that sim…", Rose began before Starfire interrupted.

"He caused all this badness to happen. He made this technology, and he is the one who can make things right! We must find Warp. You will help me?", Starfire asked.

"I wish I could.", Future Cyborg responded.

"Why couldn't you?", Rose asked before Future Cyborg looked toward a corner, which housed a gasoline-powered electric generator and the cables hooked up to it.

"My last power cell burned out years ago. I've tried adapting this new stuff to my old circuits, but...I can't leave the Tower, Star. I'm obsolete. Maybe one of the others can help. I can tell two you how to find BB, Terra, and Raven.

"What about Robin?", Rose asked.

"We lost touch a long time ago. If you're looking for him, you're on your own.", Future Cyborg responded as the two took off in search of their friends.

Act III

Inside a stable or similar enclosure, as a circus calliope played outside, a green seal popped up into view and barked before then turning into a frog, a panda bear, and a pig all while balancing the red ball as a couple of teens, both of which have purple visors, watched before they grew uninterested as they flung snowballs at him, hitting him squarely in the chest and pushing him off.

"You stink, pig!", one of the kids shouted before they tossed more snowballs at Beast Boy just as Starfire and Rose arrived just in time to see it happening before Rose\s kunai hit the ice cream, making it fall off before the two turned to see Starfire and Rose.

"I'm only going to say this once… Leave now.", Rose warned before the two fled in terror.

Surprised, Beast Boy returned to human form, bald on top, having gained a great deal of weight, and not wearing his belt, as Starfire and Rose walked up to him.

"No way! It's you two. But how?", Beast Boy asked in surprise.

"We need your help.", Rose responded.

"What kinda help?", Beast Boy asked.

"The future is not as it should be. We must find Warp. I will free you from this…", Starfire began, warming up her starbolts only for Beast Boy to shout out, stopping her.

"This cage isn't to keep me in! It's to keep those maniacs out!", Beast Boy panicked before Starfire wound down and leaned in closer.

"Look. After the Titans broke up, I tried the whole solo-hero thing. Got my butt kicked, a lot. So now, well...", Beast Boy began before he then turned into a chicken to make a point and reverted back to normal just as quickly.

"Besides, I'm in the showbiz now.", Beast Boy responded, chuckling and smiling weakly, making Starfire and Rose quite sad as the latter spoke.

"Seriously? That's what passes for your life now?", Rose asked as she even noticed a sign that said, "The Amazing One-Man Zoo; Freakish Wonder".

"Do you know where Terra and Raven are?", Rose asked.

"You could try looking up an apartment that's not far form here.", Beast Boy responded.

Later, at a sort of apartment, Future Terra, who now had 2 kids of her own, both of which were green-skinned while one of them was a girl and has blonde hair, named Yelena and Marcus, heard a knock on the door before she went over to it and opened it to see Starfire and Rose, which was quite the surprise.

"Star? Oh, my goodness! I'm so happy to see you again. I thought you were going back to Tamaran.", Future Terra grinned.

"Friend Terra, I am most overjoyed to see you as well. But why are you not with Beast Boy?", Starfire puzzled.

"Well, some time ago, we got married and became husband and wife.", Terra responded.

"Wow. You two tied the knot, huh? I guess that explains those cute kids here.", Rose grinned as she tickled Yelena a bit, making her laugh.

"Yeah. This is Yelena. She's named after my sister.", Future Terra responded.

"And this is my brother, Marcus.", Yelena greeted.

"Wow. So, you're Mom's friends, but from the past, right?", Marcus asked.

"Yep.", Rose responded.

"Wow! So, awesome!", Marcus grinned.

"Yeah, but what's not awesome is what happened 2 years ago. Beast Boy and I had to divorce because…because I couldn't stand to see him broken like this.", Future Terra responded.

"Oh. I see…", Starfire spoke sadly.

"But what about Raven?", Rose asked.

"Last I heard from her, she had to isolate herself after what happened to you two 20 years ago.", Future Terra responded.

"Then, let us make sure she isn't alone.", Starfire spoke before she started off, but not before stopping and turning to see Future Terra and her kids one last time.

"It was wonderful to see you and your children.", Starfire spoke fondly.

"Yeah. Same here.", Future Terra responded before Starfire closed the door with Yelena tugging at her mother's sleeve.

"Mama?", Yelena asked.

"Yeah?", Future Terra puzzled.

"Can I have a snack?", Yelena asked.

Later, as per Future Terra's suggestion, Starfire and Rose walked over to a sort of abandoned area before Starfire tore down the door and saw a blank room where Future Raven was inside.

"Raven? Raven, it is Starfire and Rose, your friends.", Starfire spoke as the two moved in, only to find Future Raven hadn't turned around at all.

"No such thing.", Future Raven spoke.

"Please, Raven, we…", Starfire began.

"Just another figment. Don't even look.", Future Raven spoke.

"Listen! Starfire and I are here because…", Rose began before Future Raven suddenly snapped back.

"I'm never coming back! Go away!", Future Raven shouted before moving away to another corner.

"It has to go away. Just like before. Just like all the others.", Future Raven spoke.

"Your mind. It must've snapped all those years ago. Without anyone there to stand by your side…", Rose guessed before Future Raven suddenly raised a barrier to stop her from getting any closer, saddening Rose and Starfire to a point that they left dejectedly and closed the door as Future Raven never turned around and kept the barrier behind her up.

Later, Starfire and rose sadly walked across the thick coat of snow when suddenly, a laser blast came up from out of nowhere and knocked the two backward before they looke dup to see Warp, whose circuitry is now visible through the hole where Starfire hastily pulled the badge away.

"What's the matter, dear? Have I come at a bad time?", Warp asked, his voice revealing him to have aged as well with his face now lined and drawn from the past 2 decades.

Then, Warp cut loose with a barrage of lasers with Rose firing back with laser blasts form her own via blaster before Starfire flew up and fired her starbolts at him, only for him to use his force field to block them before Starfire flew up toward Warp and was about to attack when Warp waved his hand and froze her, causing her to fall down.

"Star!", Rose shouted before firing her thermal blaster at Starfire, or more specifically, the ice covering her before it came loose just in time for Starfire to break free.

"Are you okay?", Rose asked, earning Starfire's nod before Warp stepped closer to them, making them look much alarmed.

"You have also become old.", Starfire spoke.

"That's what happens when someone steals my vortex regulator.", Warp responded.

"Oh, is that what that thing was?", Rose responded, looking toward the badge Starfire was holding before Warp held out his hand.

"The regulator, if you please. I really must get back to my future.", Wapr spoke before Starfire pulled the regulator off her belt.

"If you ever wish to see your future, you will repair the damage you have done to my past!", Starfire demanded, warming up a starbolt.

"Damage? Silly girl. There's nothing wrong with your past. One cannot damage history, because history cannot be changed. I went back in time to steal this because history says it disappeared. And history says it disappeared because I went back to steal it. Past, present, future. It's all written in stone, my dear.", Warp retorted before the clock ticked to 12:00 with Starfire lowering her hand and ceasing her starbolt before Warp took the regulator back.

"And nothing you do can ever change it.", Warp responded as he prepared to fire before someone suddenly jumped at Warp and tossed him toward the wall before Warp hit the wall feet-first and landed on the ground with the figure then tossing his discs at Warp before they exploded upon contact, only for it to show he had a force field, which then disappeared before it then showed someone else with purple starbolts descending rapidly toward him.

"Another time, perhaps.", Warp spoke before phasing through the ground before she could hit him and instead hit the ground and then stood up as the figure caught up to her.

"It's good to see you two again.", the voice spoke, surprising Starfire and Rose.

"Robin?", Starfire asked.

"I haven't used that name in a long time.", Robin only responded.

"Okay. So, you are Robin and yet, it's not your name? All right, I'll bite. If that's not your name anymore, what else could it be?", Rose asked before the figure stepped forward, revealing himself to not only wear a skintight, black uniform with a large, angular design of a blue hawk on the chest, black gloves, and matching eye mask that angled down to cover his hair, and longer hair, while another figure looked like Starfire, but with longer hair and an attire which showed a bit of her cleavage while her boots now had red jewels on top,

"Call me... Nightwing.", Nightwing responded.

"And please. Call me Nightstar.", Nightstar added.

Act IV

Sometime later, the two were brought to their new base of operations, which appeared to be a sort of computer room before Rose whistled at the sight of his old costume on display.

"I am definitely getting some future vibes out of this.", Rose spoke before Nightwing then laid down some blankets on top of Starfire's shoulders and Rose's.

"We heard you two've been looking for help.", Nightwing responded.

"There is nothing you can do. There is nothing anyone can do. The past cannot be repaired, the future cannot be altered, no matter how wrong it seems.", Starfire sighed.

"Yeah. The past, the present, the future? They're all set in stone.", Rose added.

"So, it is impossible. That is Good. If memory serves, we have done the impossible before.", Nightstar responded.

"What?", Rose puzzled before remembering those times.

"Oh, yeah. We have done them before, haven't we?", Rose realized.

"We held on to this just in case.", Nightwing responded as he pressed a button, which then showed the old Titans communicator badge before Starfire picked it up, pressed a button, and caused it to flash red with her black stones flashing as well.

At the zoo, inside Future Beast Boy's cage, he was in his seal form balancing the ball when the middle of his old belt flashed with Future Beast Boy resuming human form to notice this, his jaw dropping slightly open in surprise and then closing as he hung his head sadly.

Inside the apartment, Terra and her children were eating dinner when suddenly she overheard some beeping and turned to notice the center of her own old belt beeping from in the closet before smirking.

In the white room, Future Raven has not turned her face from the wall, though she has put down the shield from earlier before red pulses flashed from the gem on her neck with Future Raven then clasping onto it gently.

Presently, inside the tower, Future Cyborg sat in the operations center and pondered about the wreck his life has become when suddenly, his eye implant flickered red, responding to the call. Renewed with vigor, or at least starting to be, Cyborg stood up and walked over only to be stopped by the cables strapped to him before Cyborg looked back to the generator.

Back at the former museum, whose sign out front now identifies it as Metro Art Technologies, two armed guards, the very same ones Warp froze 20 years ago, stood frozen in ice among the computer equipment as Warp was in the middle of welding the badge back onto his chest.

"Tick-tock. Tick-tock. Just a few more seconds, and I shall finally…", Warp began before he was cut off when a staff whacked the welding tool from his hand and then retreated back before Nightwing caught it, he, Starfire, who now has her starbolts at the ready, Nightstar, and Rose were now revealed to be on the Balcony railing

"The future will have to wait. You just ran out of time.", Nightwing spoke as he extended his staff.

With a frustrated growl, Warp got out his laser shoulders and fired them at the trio, prompting them to move away with Nightwing launching a handful of explosive discs at him, both Starfire and Nightstar unloading their blasts, and Rose firing from her thermal blaster only for Warp to use a force field to stop the onslaught again. The three then went down to ground level as Warp's barrier faded and the smoke cleared. After that, Warp then fired more lasers again with Nightwing, Nightstar, Rose, and Starfire avoiding them as Starfire then blasted at Warp, who then deflected the starbolt back at Starfire, who dodged it, before Nightwing then charged in, avoiding the lasers before then disabling one of his shoulder laser turrets and then landing with Warp turning toward Nightwing only for Rose to fire a blast right behind Warp, urging him to pen fire on her only for Rose to dodge them before Nightwing tried to attack Warp from above only to miss before Warp fired again only for the blasts to be deflected with Nightwing then clashing with Warp several times, even doing quick jabs, up until he whacked Warp back to the ground with Nightwing, Starfire, Nightstar, and Rose towering over him only for Warp to smirk as he aimed his laser turret at the ceiling and fired, causing it to crumble directly underneath both Nightstar and Starfire.

"Star!", Nightwing and Rose shouted in unison before the former was blasted away, angering Rose.

"That's it! You're gonna pay for that!", Rose exclaimed as she charged her Thermal Blaster at full power, aiming at Warp and was about to fire when she heard a voice.

"Leave that to me.", the voice spoke, puzzling her just before a blast from a sonic cannon suddenly hit Warp and sent him tumbling backwards with the group of four turning to notice Future Cyborg, whose blue circuitry was now glowing blue with life once again.

"Boo-yah.", Future Cyborg spoke.

"Cyborg! You are repaired!", Starfire grinned as she flew over to him before Nightwing and Nightstar joined her.

"Friend Cyborg. It is good to see you again.", Nightstar grinned.

"Glad you could make it.", Nightwing grinned.

"Wouldn't have missed it. Now who said y'all could start without me?", Future Cyborg asked with a smirk of his own.

"Uh, only no one.", Rose responded.

Then, Warp recovered and stepped forward.

"So sorry. Perhaps I should finish you first!", Warp spoke just before Future Beast Boy lunged at Warp and raked his claws along the golden armor, sending up sparks form the scratches.

Then, Warp raised his arm and brought the blaster up from his wrist, about to fire, when a big rock knocked the blaster off the arm, leaving it sparking out before Beast Boy and Warp turned to see Future Terra, joined by Yelena and Marcus.

"Terra?", Future Beast Boy spoke in surprise.

"You messed with the wrong team. Yelena, Marcus, show this guy what you can do.", Future Terra spoke.

"Yes, Mom.", Yelena and Marcus responded before they both transformed into animal form, but with Yelena turning into an Armadillo and Marcus turning into a gorilla before Marcus then picked Yelena up as she curled into a ball before swinging his arm and tossing her toward Warp just as Yelena started dragging out rock from the ground and onto her body, developing spikes on it before she hit Warp on the armored chest, leaving quite a dent on the armor just before Future Raven's magic covered Warp completely and tossed him to the wall, puzzling the others, all except Future Terra, who noticed Future Raven appearing from the floor as a raven before then morphing back into her normal form.

"Thanks a ton.", Future Terra grinned.

"Closer to two tons, actually.", Future Raven smirked in response before turning to Warp and glaring at him.

"Nobody hurts my friends.", Future Raven spoke as she joined the others.

"Dude, that is so unfair.", Future Beats Boy spoke, scrubbing his scalp where his head used to be after looking at Nightwing's hair.

Just then, Warp activated the regulator, now back on his chest, to open a wormhole behind him.

"It seems my time has come.", Warp spoke just before someone fired a blast at the disc Warp was holding out before out stepped, much to Starfire and Rose's surprise, Future Rose, before Nightstar flew in and fired her own starbolt at Warp's vortex regulator, causing it to go on the fritz and turn Warp younger.

"Uh!? No! Noooo! NOOOOOOO!", Warp exclaimed as he aged in reverse, regressing to the age of a baby as the outfit started to flap emptily before the sparks stopped and the armored suit laid deflated on the floor before Future Beast Boy removed the breastplate from the armor and revealed Warp now a baby as he cried.

"Aw. He's actually really cute like this.", Yelena and Marcus spoke in unison.

"Okay. I am not changing any diapers.", Future Beast Boy spoke.

"Wow. I still look this good after 20 years?", Rose spoke to her future self.

"You bet.", Future Rose responded before the wormhole started to close.

"We gotta get you home. Come on!", Future Cyborg urged before pulling the regulator free and fitting it to the muzzle of his cannon and firing at it to keep the portal stable as best he could.

"I'm redirecting the wormhole. Rose, Starfire, go!", Future Cyborg urged before the two stepped uneasily toward it.

"Please, must this really be our future? Is there nothing we can do to change it?", Starfire asked before Nightwing stepped forward to Starfire and Rose.

"Yeah. If we can't do that, could we at least make it a little bit better?", Rose added.

"I'm sorry, guys. There isn't time. And besides, as far as I'm concerned, Rose, you two already have.", Nightwing assured as he then placed the Clock of Eternity in Starfire's hands before stepping out, leaving her shedding tears of joy as she looked back at her old friends and her future self.

"Go to them. Your friends need you here as mine need me there.", Nightstar responded to her past self.

"And never stop being friends no matter what, got it?", Future Rose added before the two past selves stepped in through the wormhole just before it closed.

When it did, Future Beast Boy and Future Terra turned back to each other with both feeling awkward as they blushed before then grinning to each other.

"So, uh… Wanna give it another shot, Terra?", Future Beast Boy asked.

"Are you kidding? You have no idea how long I've waited to hear those words form you.", Future Terra responded with a grin before they hugged.

Meanwhile, there was a time travelling passage yet again before it flashed back to previous events with Warp about to escape through the wormhole.

"Um, where did they…?", beast Boy began before suddenly, another wormhole appeared behind them with Starfire and Rose dumped out to land on the ground with Starfire kneeling on both legs with Rose kneeling on one.

"Dude!", Beast Boy spoke in amazement.

"Whoa!", Cyborg added.

"Rose, you're back!", Terra exclaimed.

"Star! What happened?", Robin asked as the wormhole closed.

"History said it disappeared. But history was wrong!", Starfire spoke as she sat up, revealing that the Clock of Eternity is intact, much to everyone's thunderstruck shock at this instant reversal of fortune and recorded events.

Starfire and Rose had already explained their own time travel adventure by morning.

"Then, Nightwing handed me the Clock, and Rose and I entered the vortex.", Starfire responded with Beast Boy already shedding tears as Terra had an astonished look on her face.

"Whoa.", Raven spoke nonchalantly.

"Bald?! You're telling me I'm going to be bald?!", Beast Boy exclaimed as he tore off his hair and whined.

"Never mind your baldness! I'm gonna have kids?! With you?! Named Yelena and Marcus?! In the future?! That's great!", Terra shouted, hugging Beast Boy, making him feel a little better, although a bit envious.

"Guess you were right about all that Rekmas stuff.", Cyborg spoke.

"I don't want us to drift apart. Does it all have to happen? Isn't there anything we can…?", Robin began before Rose interrupted.

"Not exactly. If a friendship like ours already changed Warp's past, I don't see why it can't change our future, too.", Rose assured as Raven used her magic to fix the broken bells and put them back together.

"So..., is it too late to do this festival-of-friendship thing?", Raven asked with a dead pan grin.

"Oh, it's never too late!", Starfire shouted before the necklaces were then laid down around Cyborg, Terra, and Beast Boy's necks.

"HAPPY BLORTHOG!", Cyborg shouted in Raven's ear.

"I thought it was 'Blort-hog.'", Beats Boy commented.

"Nah, but you were close.", Terra grinned in response.

"Okay, I feel like a wind chime.", Raven commented before Starfire placed a string around Robin's neck, who then got an idea.

"So... Nightwing, huh?", Robin smirked as he raised his eyebrow.

Meanwhile, outside the tower on a hill, three people spoke to each other.

"Have you found her?", a man named Gregor asked.

"Yes, brother. I have found our little sister.", another man named Brion responded.

"Good. Then I think it is time for a long overdue family reunion.", Gregor spoke.

"Then, let us hurry and reunite with our sister already.", a woman named Yelena, who happened to bear a very familiar resemblance to Terra, agreed excitedly.

A/N: And there we are. The surprises were Terra's children, Yelena (voiced by Lara Woodhull) and Arcus (voiced by Alexis Tipton) and her siblings, an OC named Yelena (who Terra's future daughter will be named after) (voiced by Tara Strong), Brion (voiced by Nolan North), and Gregor (voiced by Crispin Freeman). Pretty surprising, huh? Well, I gotta turn in for the night so I can focus on the Legendary Super Saiyan Saga's preparations for August 13th. The sooner I do, the better. Until next time. :)
