4th January 1994

Hogwarts Express

Harry sat silently as the occupants of his compartment talked about their holidays, or more specifically the Malfoy Yule ball and what had transpired. Unfortunately, Harry hadn't been there to get a first-hand experience seeing that he had been grounded for the entirety of the holidays.

Lily hadn't been happy about the Chamber of Secrets and most especially the fact that they had kept what had transpired there from her this long. Seeing her explosive reaction, Harry had decided to filter what they told her about Tom's phylacterys.

Like the fact that Hardwin is likely to be one. He had also decided to keep his little stroll through time knowing that she would even be more pissed. After she had declared her ultimatum that they were not to leave the house for whatever reason, she ran off to Hogwarts to talk to Dumbledore.

When she came back, she ordered them to forget about the 'horcruxes' and that Dumbledore was doing everything in his considerable power to search for them. They promised not to actively go looking for the horcruxes and to inform her immediately if they ran into one.

Harry had therefore missed the ball he had been looking forward to and Draco hadn't been happy. He had missed Lucius putting the Minister on the spot and practically bullying him into approving his son's proposal.

Therefore, thanks to Draco Malfoy, effective 5th January 1994, the Hogwarts dueling club was active with Draco himself as its president. How long he stayed that way was up for debate but as of this moment, he was the most popular student on the train.

In fact he was currently in the first car making plans with a few 'notable' students on how to run the club and preparing for its first meeting. Harry let him have his fun, his initial goal was to get Draco off the quidditch team and now that the club was off and running, he can start to plan for his long-term goals in regards to the club.

While stuck in the house, Harry had had some success in his search for his magical core. He had finally managed to find just before New year's Eve but he was still having trouble manipulating it.

Lola had told him that to activate his bloodline, he would need to immerse himself into his magical core and he had been trying to do that for the last four days with no success at all. However with that small break through, Harry now knew getting his wings was only a matter of time now.

Well he would need to find someone that can do Witchcraft first.

He had written to Blaise. His roommate had told him that they dealt in potions, most if which were not exactly legally-acceptable. Her mother had a whole bunch of contacts and Harry figured that if anyone could get him the more elusive ingredients, it would be her.

So he asked Blaise for a favor. Have his mother get him the ingredients on the list and he would owe the Italian boy a favor of the same magnitude in return. Blaise was quick to act as it wasn't very often that Harry is the one who owes the favor.

The boy somehow managed to convince his mother to get the ingredients and after Harry paid quite a substantial amount of gold, be had them delivered and just like that, had manage to acquire all the ingredients for Felix Felicus and was planning to start brewing as soon as he got settled in.

The ingredients he had managed to get were enough to brew only one vial but even then, if brewed accurately, a full vial could give the drinker twelve hours of good luck. That was not something to scoff at.

With the odds stacked against them, Harry figured they would need a great deal of luck if they're to defeat Voldemort or find his horcruxes and since he had the resources to engineer some luck for themselves, then he was definitely going to put them to use.

When they had written to Hermione that they wouldn't be able to come for their annual visit on boxing day, the girl had been devastated. She had however been happy with their success with the phone as it was working perfectly with full service and she hadn't had to charge it once.

Harry had an epiphany then, while they were working on the service issue, they would still need to keep in touch with Hermione's father so he sent a house-elf to collect the phone pand sent another to the chamber of secrets for one of the spoilt phones.

He had then charmed the two phones with a variation of the Protean Charm similarto the one the Marauders had used on their two way mirrors. If Harry long-pressed the call button on the spoilt phone, the working phone vibrates like for an incoming call and when the other receives, they hear themselves perfectly.

Harry sent for the other dead phone and also connected it to both George's and his. On Harry's phone, he put the second phone on speed dial number 1 while he left George's at the call button.

He then gave the other phone to Ted Tonks, Nymphadora's father. A muggleborn who had legs in both worlds and had a struggling law firm in the muggle world which was now officially Peverell Investments' law firm. Harry decided to fund the law firm not only on behalf of Nymphadora but also for it to better represent the company's interests.

The three hoped that once Peverell investments became larger, so would the law firm. And it was on its way as it became more popular in London and surrounding towns and settlements most especially among the lower and middle-class citizens.

Ted also represented Harry's interests in the magical world and was in the process of buying off all the shareholders of the Daily Prophet on behalf of Lord Peverell. By summer or at the very least the end of the year, Harry will have full control of the leading paper in the magical world.

All in all, it had been a very fruitful holiday for Harry and couldn't wait for the summer to reach. He had so many plans he wasn't sure he could fit them all in the two months they had.

There was a lull in the conversation and Harry looked up to see that a most of them were dozing, only Luna who was reading the Quibbler, Hermione who was reading some tome and Susan Bones who was staring out the window were awake.

"Something on your mind Bones?" Harry asked her and she blinked at him slowly before smiling shyly.

"Nothing much, Harry." She replied with a dust of pink on her cheeks. "Just going to miss Auntie, is all."

Susan like Neville had been a guest at Potter Manor a couple of times as they grew up but being a girl, they had never really connected much like they had with Neville. Neither was she as frequent either.

Harry glanced at Hermione and Luna. Hermione was completely engrossed in the book and Harry suspected if the train crashed, she wouldn't even notice. Luna also seemed to be engrossed in the arithmetic puzzle in the magazine but Harry was sure she was very aware of everything around her.

He leaned forward a little, careful not to wake Tracey who was leaning on him and snoring lightly. The bubbly girl always managed to sit next to him every train ride.

"Look, Susan. We may not be very close but I always knew when something was bothering you and right now, I can tell there is something back at Hogwarts that you're, maybe not afraid of perse, but not looking forward to." He said softly, staring into her soft-blue eyes.

"I...I don't think it would be appropriate." She said hesitantly, glancing at her best friend, Hannah Abbot. "It's nothing, I'm sure it will pass."

"Well, if you need a listening ear I'm always here." Harry assured her. She paused for a moment, considering his words and then her face lit up in a blush and she looked back to the window. Harry raised an eyebrow, wondering if perhaps it would be better for him to withdraw his offer.

"I...it's the boys, Harry!" She exclaimed, perhaps a bit loudly and Tracey snorted in her sleep and leaned even closer to Harry.

"Is anyone bothering you, Susan?" Harry asked sharply. After Lockhart, Harry knew girls were at a risk especially with magic around.

"No! Not like that but it's just the attention." She sighed. "You know I'm more... developed than others in our year and suddenly boys who never even looked at me are now smiling at me and paying attention."

"Oh..." Harry was honestly not sure what to reply to that.

"And that was even before the break and now I'm even worse than that." She said as she gestured to her admittedly bigger chest that was visible even through the robes. "I just don't know how to handle it and it makes me really uncomfortable."

Harry sighed, most certainly wasn't expecting this or to be the one to explain something like this.

"Look, I'm probably not the best person to be explaining this to you." Harry started and stiffed a wince at her defeated look. "But you're a pretty girl, Susan and will definitely become just as beautiful as your aunt as you grow up."

She blushed, becoming a shade almost darker than her hair and Harry hastened to continue.

"Which makes you special and extraordinary. Things or people like you tend to attract attention both wanted and unwanted. You've got to learn that someone like you will always have people's attention, it will never go away, not when you grow up or ignore it." He explained. "You just have to let it be in the background, don't let it affect your actions or decisions. Just keep being yourself and live your life as you wish it to be."

Susan was quiet as she considered his words with a smile. "Thanks, Harry. For the words and complements."

"I only say it like I see it, Bones." Harry replied in his usual voice. "You needn't be bothered by something as trivial as a boy looking at you funny."

"But you don't look at me funny, Harry."

"Probably because I'm not into that stage yet, but I'll be subtle enough not to be noticed even when I get there." Harry replied and she laughed. "I can't say the same for Hardwin though."

"Hey, keep me out of your romance."

"Then you shouldn't be eavesdropping on our romance in the first place." Harry replied and the boys sighed.

"Sorry for listening in on your conversation, Susan." He said to the girl who shook her head.

"I knew you were awake, Hardwin." She replied.

"Right, I noticed that you were out of it too but I just didn't know how to get you to talk, so when you and Harry started talking, I figured that if any one can help you, then it would be Harry."

"Well, he was certainly helpful." Daphne said as she straightened in her seat.

"I agree." Hannah said sitting up.

All the girls in the compartment except for Tracey who had been the only one genuinely asleep nodded in agreement and Harry just shook his head. "This was just a setup then?"

"No, Harry." Hermione said. "Many of us were having the same problem and we thought that you could help."

"And Susan volunteered?"

"Well, except for Luna, I'm probably the closest to you as we kinda grew up together." She shrugged.

"I see." Harry said. "I certainly hope none of you are planning to come to me for relationship advice."

"Oh Harry." Hardwin said sadly. "I thought you were the smart one of the two of us. Yet even I can see that that's wishful thinking."

-PRPRPRPRPR-

Once they finished their supper, Harry walked with the rest of the Slytherins back to the common room as he chatted with Liz and Astoria. The two girls had apparently been looking forward to dancing with him at the ball and had been disappointed.

Harry therefore spent the minutes it then to reach the common room offering apologies while his classmates laughed at his expense. He could see the other firsties and a few second-years looking at Liz and Astoria with in wonder as to them it looked like the girls had Harry wrapped around their finger.

Harry indulged them, allowing them to consolidate their power over their classmates. It would be nice to have these at his neck and call at some point in the future.

Once they arrived, Harry excused himself and went to his room to retrieve the ingredients while the others sat down to socialize a little bit more and play their power games. Harry had made it clear long ago that he wasn't interested in the games. He didn't care about the pecking order, if they left him alone, so would he.

Harry collected his newly acquired ingredients and went down to the common room. He saw his classmates huddled together, occasionally glancing at a group seated in the corner. When Daphne saw Harry coming down the stairs, she gestured for him to come over.

"Harry, we think Draco is planning something." She said when he reached and the others nodded. Only Crabbe and Goyle were absent, seated over with Draco.

"I can see that." Harry replied. "They have been plotting the moment we set off from London. How does that concern me?"

"He is planning a take over, Potter." Nott said seriously. "Those guys over there, Blishwick, Burke, Higgs, Montague and the girl Rashley have been added on the committee of the dueling club so they help him."

"I appreciate your concern all of you but you needn't worry." Harry assured them. "Besides, I never claimed to be in charge of anything so the 'take over' is simply pointless without someone to usurp."

"Look, Potter, you may not consider yourself our leader but we do." Blaise said and the rest nodded in agreement. "We're not ready to have Malfoy lording himself over us."

"You needn't worry yourselves then." Harry assured them. "I've got everything under control."

And with that, Harry left the common room without a back glance. He wasn't worried about Draco or any plans he had. If he got too big a head, Harry will be more than willing to remind him of his place. Right now, he had other things to worry about.

On his way to his lab, he ran into Luna who was wearing his Slytherin robe and skipping through the hallways.

"Hi, Harry." She greeted brightly and gave him a hug. "What are you doing wondering the halls all by yourself?"

"I'm going off to my secret lab to brew myself some luck." Harry answered without missing a beat. "And you?"

"Oh, I'm looking for a couple of faeries for some relationship advice." She answered just as easily. "Do you know anywhere I could find them at this time of the year?"

"I could conjure you some?" Harry offered but she shook her head.

"No, I want those that are fresh from mating." She said with a smile. "They're more experienced, you know."

"I didn't actually, I guess you learn something new everyday." Harry said. "Anyway, I wish you success in your quest and keep away from the forbidden forest, will you."

"Oh don't worry, the forest isn't as dangerous today as it will be on that full moon." Luna said and Harry raised an eyebrow at her. She stared back, her face clear for once. "He is plotting, Harry. Two have now become six and soon there will be more and on that full moon, they will be coming."

She smiled serenely at him once more. "I'll see you around, Harry. That potion won't brew itself."

Harry watched the girl who was probably one of the only three people he could really call friend. The others being Tonks and Neville. He tried to make sense of her words but was coming up blank. Every full moon, Harry and Hardwin kept Remus company as Meg and Lockjaw.

Lily's variation of the wolfsbane potion functioned just like Harry's animagus potion. As a matter of fact, Harry had taken the Marauder's formula as well as Lily's wolfsbane, and taking the key properties from both potions to create his own animagus potion.

Remus had only needed to take the potion once and become a were-Animagi. All that remained of the curse was that he couldn't resist transforming during the full moon but even then, the transformation was not only painless but he also remaining in complete control.

Harry and Hardwin were only there to keep him company as he preffered to run in the forbidden forest, apparently it brings back memories and all that. All in all, there was nothing dangerous, except for the hunts but those were easy as Meg and Lockjaw were apex predators and could take on anything the forest could throw at them. And that was not counting Moony.

Harry assumed that 'He' was probably Voldemort and he was planning something that involved the forbidden forest. He was also probably gathering followers, maybe he had found someone to possess again? Harry highly doubted that, after being kicked out of Quirrell there was no way he had gathered enough strength to possess another person again.

There was nothing he could do right now and could only promise to to himself to be extra careful the next full moon. He would also have to warn Remus and Hardwin.

With that, Harry entered his lab and started brewing the potion. Starting with tonight, once he finished brewing it, it will have to stew for six months before it can be taken safely. Harry was confident in his potions skills and was sure he will brew successfully.

Once he entered the lab, he removed the outer robe remaining in a t-shirt and a pair of slacks. He put the robe on a stand and put on a white lab coat and a pair of gloves. He walked over to his brewing station, a large table in the middle of the room that had a everything he needed in brewing.

Harry switched on the Wizarding wireless in the corner that was playing a song by the Wierd Sisters Thetion. The potion was going to take him approximately one hour to brew and he needed some background music. With the recipe clear in his mind, he laid out all the ingredients on the table, cast a bubble-head charm on his head and got to work.

-PRPRPRPRPR-

One and half hours later, Harry once again entered the common room. The moment he entered, Lizzy detached herself from the group of firsties and ran over to him.

"Harry! Where have you been?" She asked with a cute frown. "I've been waiting for forever."

"Why were you waiting for me?"

"Coz I don't want Malfoy and his hired goons to ambush you!" She whispered harshly glancing at the boy in question.

"No one is going to ambush me, Liz." Harry told her. "I know exactly what's going and I have everything under control."

"Well, I'm not leaving you." She declared, crossing her arms stubbornly. "I've been told those guys are some of the best duelers in the school, you can face them alone."

"I'll be just fine." He answered. Malfoy had stood up and was walking towards them, the five sis-years following behind him and with Crabbe and Goyle. "Don't you have any faith in me?"

"Hiding behind little girls, Potter?" Draco asked having reached them.

Looking up from Liz's dark eyes, Harry smiled politely at Draco. "Hello Draco, how may I help you?"

"Well, you could start by kneeling."

"I thought we already addressed my feelings on kneeling before people, Draco." Harry answered, his stone still polite. "May I ask what this is about?"

"Don't play stupid with me, Potter." Draco sneered. "You know exactly what this is about."

"Actually I don't." He crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Perhaps you can enlighten me?"

Draco glared at him. "You think you're mighty, Potter. I've even heard you go around claiming to own Slytherin house, that is a lie and it ends now!"

"Ok, you're right." Harry replied with an indulging smile like he was talking to a kid. "If that's all, have a goodnight. Come on, Liz."

He had barely taken more than three steps before his senses flared and he conjured a shield just in time to block a spell headed for his head.

"Do not turn your back on me, Potter!"

Harry stopped walking and looked down at Liz. "Go to your friends."

"But I_"

"Now, Walters." Harry's voice was hard and left no room for argument. She gave him one last defiant look but it disappeared when she caught his eyes which had a light glow to them. She left.

Harry turned then to look at Draco, slowly flaring his magic as he increased his presence.

"I remember well what happened last year when you attempted to give me orders, Draco." His voice was soft, almost gentle, but there was a dangerous undertone to it. "Clearly you don't."

"I underestimated you, not this time." Draco replied, wand pointed at Harry along with Crabbe and Goyle's who were on either side of him. His hired muscle for a lack of a better word were standing behind the three, also with their wands out though not pointed anywhere.

"That is your problem. You're stagnant, you have a one-track mind and never give yourself room for change." Harry started, his aura increased in intensity and even those not magic-sensitive started feeling something. "You seem to be under the impression that I'm still at the same level as I was last year, you couldn't be more wrong."

"You're nothing, Potter." Draco spat. "Your family name is useless, you're not particularly rich and most of all, you're just a half-blood! A half-blood calling himself leader of our house? I can not stand for something like that."

He was on a roll.

"A half-blood who consorts with blood traitors, you bring shame to this house, Potter!" He sneered while Harry noted with satisfaction that he kept away from the word 'mudblood'. "You don't even deserve to be in Slytherin! You should be thrown into Gryffindor right next to your worthless idiotic brother! And now we will be showing you your place, and that is on your knees before your superiors."

Harry conjured a shield once again and blocked the onslaught of spells and curses from the three third-years. He dropped his aura, having realized he wasn't even going to need it for the posturing ahead.

The shield held effortlessly and when Harry got tired of waiting, he fed magic into the shield which imploded outwards. The three boys were not expecting it and were caught by the blast. The five older students cast shields in front of them almost in tandem and Draco and his friends impacted on them painfully.

With the rest of the house watching silently, Harry strode towards the boys who were moaning on the floor. He tapped Crabbe and Goyle on their foreheads and they slumped, unconscious. Draco was looking at him in fear, his hired help were just looking at him as Harry approached.

When he reached him. Harry waved his hand and Draco froze, caught in a full-body bind. Only his eyes could move and he swiveled them from one side to the other but only Harry was in his line of sight.

Harry squatted in front of him and started talking, his voice while soft was heard clearly around the room.

"As I'm sure you're aware, House Malfoy isn't as old as house Potter, not in magical Britain at least." He started. "However, ever since they established themselves, the Malfoy have always been at the center of running the magical world."

He paused and his voice seemed to echo throughout the common room as everyone wondered where he was going with this.

"This wasn't through some hidden power, they are talented sure but nothing really to marvel at and while they have money, money isn't always the answer." He looked him direct in the eyes. "The reason why the Malfoys have always managed to establish themselves at the center of the magical world has always been through patrons. I'm sure your father has told you this, Draco and if he hasn't then you write him tomorrow and verify."

Nobody said a word as Harry continued, he realized he really enjoyed having these monologues.

"They have always gotten support from people more powerful than them and then later a few times even ended up surpassing them." Harry said. "Armand Malfoy, the very first of your family to set foot on British soil was sponsored by Abraham Potter. Septimus by Gillert Grindelwald, your grandfather Abraxas by Arcturus Black and your father, well we both know-who."

He leaned forward. "I can be your patron, Draco. I can see your potential and I can help you become the very best man you can ever be. I can help you become the greatest Malfoy to ever live. You have already seen what I'm capable of, how much I have helped you rise with a single conversation."

Harry stood up and looked down at him. "The choice is yours, Draco. You have until the end of the school year to decide, let me be your patron and you won't regret it. Goodnight."

Harry nodded at the other older students that Draco had mistakenly thought they could ever rise their wands against Harry after what he had done for them. If it hadn't been for Harry, neither of the boys would have passed their OWLs.

He had connected them with Penelope Clearwater and a few other Ravenclaws last year. He had even given them a few of his personal books to go through and learn a few tricks. Sometimes, he had taken them to empty classrooms and practiced dueling with them. They owed him too much to ever go against him.

And the girl, Virginia Rashley had written him during the summer and asked for a meeting. Her parents, while purebloods were not particularly rich and were currently struggling with debts and they wouldn't be able to pay her tuition for the remaining two years. Since she had sat her OWLs, she was free to do with her life as she wanted.

Rashley however had big plans and those plans required her to finish her NEWTs and was wondering if Harry, 'the Devil of Slytherin' knew of anyone who could give her a reasonable loan so she can archive her goals without involving her parents or shaming her family name. Harry had simply whipped out a contract.

He pays her tuition untill she sits her NEWTs, and she would serve him untill magic felt the debt had been paid in full. She, along with the Weasley twins were now Harry's biggest clients and he was hopping to get more with time.

The fact that Draco ended up confiding in these six in particular was surely a coincidence. It wasn't like he wanted to make a minion out of Draco or the fact that the Malfoys were currently the most influential family in the Magical world.

Not at all.

-PRPRPRPRPR-

From that day, Draco wasn't seen much in the common room. He left early and came back later, usually looking winded. No on knew where he went everyday, many thought he didn't want to show his face around after his failure but Harry thought otherwise. He had been feeling Draco's magic grow every time he came back and he knew the boy was practicing.

Harry had yet to get his answer from Draco but he had gotten many others asking him to be their patron, mostly firsties and second-years even one fourth year student. He had declined politely, telling them to first consider their options and if by their fifth-year they still want the same, then he would gladly take them on.

Nott and Tracey had also asked and he had given them the same answer. If by the end of next year they are still interested, then he will take them in. According to Luna, the Dark Lord will be coming back in a year or two and by then, people will be more desperate for his help.

Two days later, he was approached by two girls, one from Ravenclaw, the other from Hufflepuff. Both were great friends and muggleborns. They had no idea where to go after Hogwarts and could really use a patron too. Harry whipped out a contract similar to Rashley's and presented it to them.

They can come up with a bussiness, any business, and he would fund it. He would also have five percent ownership and in return they would help him whenever he asks untill magic considers the favor fully paid. Turns out they had talked to Rashley and she had recommended him.

On the first Saturday after they reported, the dueling club had its first meeting. It had already been announced on the notice boards in the common rooms the previous day by the house representatives. Anyone who was interested was invited and it was quite the turn up.

With his committee, two representatives from each house, Draco welcomed everyone to the first meeting of the club. He introduced his committee and then went on to tell them how the club was going to operate. After that, there were mock duels between the committee members and people were surprised by Draco's skill.

All in all by the end of the mock duels, the students who had turned up, mostly first to fourth year were looking forward to the real club activities as that meeting had only been an introduction. And to sum it all up, Snape and Flitwick who had been present the whole time also had a duel of their own to show the members what that can expect.

They were awed to say the least. Everyone was marveling at their speed and skill and they couldn't wait to be able to move like that. The professors were also to be regulars in the meetings and would be imparting their knowledge to the club members.

As if that wasn't enough to attract the members, Flitwick announced that there was going to be an inter-house dueling tournament next year. The participants in the tournament were to be selected by the house representatives depending on one's performance in the club.

By the time the meeting ended, three hours after breakfast, the dueling club was almost as popular as quidditch at Hogwarts and everyone couldn't wait for the next meeting.

Harry and Hardwin weren't there however. While the meeting was going on, the twins were in the Chamber of Secrets having a spare of their own just like they had been doing every Saturday ever since they came back for their third year at Hogwarts. The intensity of their spars kept increasing as time went by, Hardwin trying to keep up with his brother while Harry pushed himself to become even better.

Harry was sure that Sirius would be very surprised at how much they had progressed when they started their summer training back home. At this point, Harry was sure that they could single handedly take on an adult wizard like Remus and win. Together, he wouldn't last a minute.

Sirius though was not just any wizard. He was the Head Auror for a reason and also a veteran from the last war. He might have been young but he and James had both been a force to be reckoned with. Harry wondered how it would have been to spar with their father who had even been better than Sirius.

Then again, it would never have been as much of a challenge as they would have wanted as James would never have gone all out for fear of hurting his son. Just like how neither of them went all out when sparing with each other. Sirius though, he never held back, not when they had just started and most certainly not this summer when they'll be able to keep up for a minute or so.

With the excitement of the dueling club throughout the week and the excitement of the quidditch season drawing to a close, days seemed to fly by. Harry's free period on Monday and Friday afternoons were spent with Hermione and Luna respectively. With Hermione, they worked on the phones and wandless magic, both of which were not going so well.

With Luna, Harry slowly taught her what he knew just like any master and apprentice should do. The girl was smart, despite her knack of taking the lessons off course, she took in everything he taught like a sponge. Harry couldn't be more proud of her progress. If only their lessons didn't usually end with arguments.

In their latest lesson, he had brought up the subject of bloodlines. If anyone was capable of witchcraft, it would be Luna. Luna had claimed that her lines had two bloodlines, enchanting and animal speech. Both of which were already active in her.

Harry said that a person can only have one active bloodline and she had called him silly before asking if he was trying to tell her that she was an animal because she had two bloodlines. Harry immediately apologized. He then told her that she actually had three active bloodlines then, since she was also a seer.

"But I'm not a seer, Harry." Luna had said and Harry frowned at her.

"I beg to disagree."

"Well, you're not permitted to." She sniffed. "Anyway, I just view life differently and can make up patterns of what is likely to occur. It's just luck that what I suspect usually ends up happening. If anything, my superpower would be luck!"

"I think you mean, bloodline and no, it isn't luck." Harry replied. "That's exactly what it means to be a seer."

"Are you a seer, Harry?"

"Not to my knowledge, no."

"Then stop arguing with me."

"But you're not a seer either, apparently." Harry stated dryly and Luna beamed at him.

"That's exactly what I've been trying to tell you." She petted him behind the ears and skipped away. "I'm glad we came to an agreement."

Harry watched the girl skip towards the exit of the chamber with an amused smile. She was probably the only person he knew that could talk him into agreeing with her by confusing him.

"How does she even open the chamber?" He mused to himself before face palming. "Right, 'animal speech'. What a ridiculously useful bloodline."

When the quidditch season came to an end, Slytherin and Gryffindor were tied. To break the tie, the school organized a special game and for the first time, there was a quidditch final at Hogwarts to determine the winner of the cup.

The teams were evenly matched, the Seekers almost as much. But Hardwin had the advantage and as much as Harry pulled out every trick in his arsenal short of using direct magic, he just wasn't able to match someone that was practically born to live in the air.

Gryffindor won the quidditch cup, but even then, Slytherin was far too ahead already that other than a miraculous increase in points from Dumbledore, there was no way Gryffindor could catch up and there were only two months left to the end of the year.

Soon it was June and the exams started. On Thursday that week, Harry and Hardwin had DADA in the morning and Ancient runes in the afternoon. It was thankfully the last day of the exams as that night was going to be the full moon. The very last one in the school year and most likely the one Luna had been talking about.

That night, Harry stocked his potions kit, making sure everything was in place. He had faith in Luna, and was definitely expecting trouble tonight. He had even invited Padfoot to hunt with them just in case something happens. Sirius, glad for the break from his work had leaped at the chance.

As he made his way towards the tunnel that led to the Shrieking Shack, Harry wondered what today would bring. According to what Luna had said, today was the day that Voldemort will start moving again, make his first move. By all intents and purposes, the second war for the magical world will be starting today.

How that happened, was yet to be seen.

AN: That's chapter twelve for you guys. Not much of action really, but we shall be getting lots of it in the next chapter. That's a guarantee.

I'm looking for a beta reader, last night I was reading through the previous chapter and realized how annoying it was to read one sentence and then try to make sense of it due to the typing and grammatical errors.

So anyone out there willing to help a guy out, please PM me.
