"How are you feeling, Cosmo?", Cosmo heard Wanda's voice ask as he slowly began to regain consciousness. He woke up to find himself lying down in his and Wanda's bed, with her sitting next to him with a look of concern on her face.

"W-what? Where are we?"

"We're back home, sweetheart. I took you home when you passed out.", Wanda sighed, "Why don't you take your medicine? I left it on your nightstand."

Cosmo slouched himself up so he could reach the glass of water and anxiety pills she had left him. After he took 2 pills, he melted himself back into the blankets, sinking into the satin sheets.

"Wha-what happened? What did I do wrong? Is the baby alright?', Cosmo asked. Wanda sighed sadly.

"You passed out after we talked to your parents. You landed on your side, so I don't think the baby is hurt, but I would like for you to stay in bed a couple of days."

"Aw, but I don't wanna stay in bed! We still have things to do for the baby.", Cosmo whined.

"I know, but I don't want you putting yourself or the baby at risk anymore. I just want you to focus on relaxing and making sure you eat enough for the baby.", Wanda said, "I also managed to make an appointment to get your stomach looked at."

"Oh ok.", Cosmo said quietly, "W-What about my mom and dad? A-Are they mad at me?"

"I don't know honey. Your father was crying when you passed out, and Mama Cosma was screaming at me for all I'm worth. I-I would just focus on relaxing and destressing before you talk to them again."

The couple fell silent for a bit as Cosmo started to feel a wave of guilt wash over them. Not only did he make his wife worry about him, HE had been the reason his father was crying his eyes out. Cosmo felt tears streaming down his eyes as he thought about the past month and a half, and how he had been messing everything up and making people upset.

"Cosmo. Come on.", Wanda said, cupping his face and wiping the tears off, "It'll be alright. I'm sure everything will be ok. It's just gonna take some time."

"I-I know but I keep messing everything up. Mama's mad and I made you worried, and dad's crying. I-I just want to have this baby so I quit ruining people's lives."

"Honey, you're not ruining people's lives. It's just that we're under a lot of pressure right now and we haven't been getting that much support."

"Still, everything's my fault. It always is. I was the one who decided to get pregnant.", Cosmo cried.

"You didn't do anything wrong. I just think we need some extra help, that's all.", Wanda sighed, kissing him on the cheek, "Can I ask you something?"

"Hm?"

"Do you even still want this baby?"

"W-What? Of course I do? Why would you ask that?"

"You have been very moody these last several weeks. I know most of it chalks up to pregnancy mood swings, but I don't think I've ever seen you so miserable before."

"I-I want the baby, but I don't like the pregnancy.", Cosmo sighed, "I'm sorry I've been really whiny and crying a lot, but I don't know how much more of this I can take."

"Well, you've only got about another month left.", Wanda said, lying down next to him, "And we still have the baby shower to look forward to."

"I know. I know. I still want this baby. So so bad. But-", Cosmo groaned, "But I'm so tired. I just want everyone to leave me alone so I can get through this. Well..except for you, of course."

"Then I'll be here.", Wanda kissed Cosmo's cheek again, "But I think some rest is way overdue for you, mister."

"Wanda?"

"Yes?"

"What do you wanna name the baby? I'm getting tired of just calling it The Baby"

Wanda paused as she thought for a little while. They had been so busy with other things and dealing with family members that they had barely any time to prepare once the baby was born.

"Let's just wait until tomorrow, darling. We don't even know the gender yet anyways. Right now, we should probably get some sleep."

"Alright fine. Goodnight Wanda."

"Goodnight Cosmo. I love you."

"I love you too."

Around 12 the next morning, Cosmo and Wanda made their way to the Fairy World Men's Health Center, where they were waiting in a pink colored waiting room, with flowers in vases and a receptionist typing away on their computer. As they kept waiting, Cosmo kept pulling out his phone, surprised to see no calls or texts from his mother, but several missed calls from his father, alongside texts pleading him to answer his phone.

When he knew Wanda was busy reading one of the Fairy Wood magazines on the glass table, Cosmo opened his text messages and lingered his father's text room. Cosmo really wanted to tell him that he was alright and just needed to rest but knowing him he would come over there and bombard the couple with questions about his safety. Cosmo felt bad letting him continue to worry, but also found himself tired of dealing with his family's problems and opinions on his relationships.

"Mr. Cosma? We're ready for you.", a male nurse called out. Cosmo pocketed his phone as the couple stood up, headed towards a clean, lavender scented room where there was a machine with a TV screen at the top. Wanda instructed Cosmo to lie down on the seat closest to the machine as she took a seat in a wooden chair in the corner of the room. A few moments later, Dr. Wandsworth, a medium height fairy with short blond hair and reading glasses much like his father's walked through the door, holding a black clipboard in his hands.

"Hello Cosmo. How are we this afternoon?", Dr. Wandsworth asked, "I assume you're hear for an ultrasound scan, correct?"

"Uh yeah, I guess. Not really sure what an ultrasound is though.", Cosmo asked.

"Well, I'm going to put some gel on your stomach so I can scan your stomach and check on your pregnancy. Now, will you remove your shirt for me? It won't hurt a bit, I promise."

Cosmo did as he was told as Dr. Wandsworth finished typing on his computer. He then moved to the rolling chair next to the ultrasound machine. He put on two rubber gloves on before he poured some gel into his hands, rubbing them all over Cosmo's stomach. A few minutes after he started scanning, the monitor (or TV Cosmo called it) showed a gray screen with a small figure in the middle.

"Doesn't look like there's any problems right now. I would say you should be ready within the next month.", Dr. Wandsworth said, "Oh! I think I can tell you the gender now if you would like."

"Wanda? What do you think?", Cosmo asked, a small smile forming on his face. Wanda smiled back and nodded.

"Only if you want to, dear."

"Ok then. Yes! I wanna know! What are we having?", Cosmo asked, squirming in his seat slightly.

"Alright, looks like you two are on track for a girl! Congratulations!", Dr. Wandsworth smiled, putting the machine down. Cosmo squeaked softly as his smile widened, putting his shirt back on.

"A girl Wanda! It's a beautiful baby girl!", Cosmo cheered, "Oooh, I'm so excited! What do you want to name her? I was thinking Stella or Philip!"

"We'll think or something, sweetheart, I promise. But I think we should get going home now.", Wanda laughed, hugging her husband. "We need to get rested up if you want to go clothes shopping for her, later."

After they had dealt with insurance information and paid for the visit, Cosmo and Wanda poofed back home, where Wanda instructed Cosmo to head back to bed until lunch was ready. But as he was getting ready to allow the satin sheets to wrap him and the new baby girl up, his phone rang in his pocket, showing Caller ID as his father. Cosmo stared at his phone, unsure whether to answer and keep his father worrying or answer it and risk having to deal with his mother. He decided to answer. He wouldn't be long anywyas. He just needed to make sure he dad knew he was alright.

"Hello?"

"Oh Cosmo! Thank goodness! Are you alright?", Papa Cosmo asked, "I-I tried calling you earlier but you didn't pick up! I was about to head to your place to check on you."

"N-No dad. I'm ok. I just got back from the doctors. Everything's fine now.", Cosmo sighed, "I just need a break."

"Is the baby alright?"

"Yeah. They said I should be ready next month."

"Well, that's good to hear. I'm glad you're ok. I was worried sick."

"Is Mama ok? Is she still mad at me?"

"I-..um…well honey I.."

"Dad just tell me."

"She's still pretty upset, yes darling.", Papa Cosmo sighed, "But I know you don't want to talk to her right now, so I'll let her know you and the baby are ok."

"Ok. Thanks dad.", Cosmo said, "Uh dad?"

"Yes dear?"

"Are you ok?"

"I..uhm…well I"

"You know, about what I said earlier. Wanda said you were crying when I passed out."

"W-Well, I was just really worried, and.."

"Yeah but I mean, about the whole Schnozmo deal."

"Oh..", his father sighed sadly, "No I'm not. I just don't understand what I did wrong."

"What do you mean?"

"I know I'm being selfish but..I've tried so hard to make sure you kids were ok, but I just don't know where I went wrong. I really had hoped you kids would be ok, but now..I don't know. Maybe Nora was right. I failed you kids."

"Dad..", Cosmo whimpered, though he could hear his father sob in the phone, "It's not your fault. Don't blame yourself."

"Who else is there to blame?"

"Mama wasn't very nice to Schnozmo or Chelsea. Why are you blaming yourself for how Mama treated them?"

"I-I don't know anymore. I..I just..I feel like I failed as your father. At the very least, I should have tried to protect you guys more."

"But what could you do? Mama's a lot stronger than all of us."

"I know. But I just feel like I could have prevented all of this.", he sighed, "I'm sorry Cosmo. I didn't mean to go off. I really did call to make sure you were ok, but I've just been so…upset lately. I kind of just exploded."

"I know.", Cosmo sighed, "Hey, I can't talk for much longer but we did end up finding out the baby's gender."

"Oh?", Papa Cosmo asked, his voice perking up slightly.

"Yeah. It's a-"

"Cosmo! Lunch is ready!", Wanda called from the kitchen.

"Oh well. I'll just tell you at the baby shower. Think Wanda might like that better anyways. Bye dad.", Cosmo said his goodbye softly as he hung up the phone and placed it on his bed, allowing himself to be alone with his wife and baby for a change.
