SIMP,LONER AND KARAOKE : PART 3
I have a confession to make. I was desperate to get attention from girls in middle school. I asked out, got rejected and humiliated. Hell even traumatized by people by Kaori that I actively avoided and paranoid about women through much of high school.
Being an incel comes with the whole package after all.
But watching what was unfolding in front of me while we were having dinner blew every bad experiences out of water compared to what was happening to Kazuya.
Kazuya had brought with him a gorgeous girl Chizuru Mizuhara, which I swear I saw her somewhere before...
Anyways not surprisingly everyone was curious and she was at centre of attention even though it's the first time everyone had met her and Kazuya introduced them as his girlfriend. Lucky bastard.
However, once Mami started talking to him and I saw a glimpse of her soulless eyes and facial expression full of contempt I felt lucky she had nothing to do with me.
I had moved over so that Kazuya could sit next to me. Mami was opposite to us so even I could feel the full barrage of everything she threw at his way while pretending as if she was having a conversation with Mizuhara.
"Did you knew Kazuya always tried to get me drunk?"
"Ha ha Ha! It was soo obvious what he wanted to do and was desperate "
"He would spend all his money on our outings while trying to cling to me. Ha!"
Everyone had quietened down and looked on with shock to cruelness with which Mami was making fun of him. Kazuya's friends poked fun of him too so their reaction was really telling that this not the usual.
I had called him a Simp...I mean, he kind of is but even I was feeling sorry for him. Girls can be really scary and rip your heart out and leave you like a hunk of crap.
Kibe, finally I remembered his name, tried to whisper what I'm sure most here were thing.
"Mami...hey, that's enough"
I still couldn't remember the name of Kazuya's glasses wearing, bucktoothed friend who stared on dumbly.
But Mami continued with her verbal thrashing and Kazuya could only lower his head in shame, laughing nervously while life was being drained from him.
I considered speaking up, even if just so I could eat in peace.
But to the surprise of everyone, it was Kazuya's new girlfriend who spoke up.
"It's enough!" She said while slamming her hands on the table. This was about to get ugly.
