Task 4: Kingsley Shacklebolt: Write about having to clean up someone else's mess (figuratively or literally)

Having seven children wasn't a walk in the park. It wasn't Molly or Arthur's intentions to have that many but they wouldn't trade their kids for the world.

Bill was an easy child to raise, he never asked for much and was more than happy to keep himself entertained.

Charlie was just as easy, he loved playing with his stuffed dragons and playing outside with his older brother, and younger brother Percy when he came along. Percy was more uptight and loved staying clean to Molly's delight.

However, it was Fred and George who started the messy chaos. Those two were as thick as thieves, even as babies, and always getting into something. It was then that Molly got very good at using housecleaning spells.

"How are we supposed to tell them apart?" Arthur asked in dismay as he took in the dirty footprints that littered the dining room floor. "I don't even know which twin got into the garden again." The twins darted by on their way in. "Merlins beard, they're both dirty!"

Rubbing her temples, Molly replied, "We will figure it out." She scooped up George and motioned for Arthur to grab Fred. "For now, let's just get these two cleaned up."

"Yes, dear."

Next came Ron. At this point, Molly and Arthur were used to cleaning messes first and asking questions later. Luckily, Ron didn't make many messes except for the occasional crumbs that every child seem to make.

Ginny, oh Ginny, she idolized the twins; she wanted to do everything they did. They caused the tub to overflow? She wanted to do it. They buried Percy in the yard? You bet she wanted to try it to!

"No more kids," Arthur panted as he lugged a dirt covered Percy into the house.

"They overpowered me!" Percy exclaimed.

Molly just sighed as she whipped her wand out to clean up. Another day, another mess.

Now who can forget their surrogate son, Harry Potter? Molly was stunned when Harry gathered the dishes that her kids left on the table before going to do various activities after dinner to clean. He did with so little effort that she was speechless. Not even her own kids even so much as offered to clear the table! This was new to her.

"Harry, you don't have to do that," Molly told him, her wand in hand. "I usually use a spell for that."

"It's no problem," Harry assured nonchalantly her as he yanked on some gloves. "My aunt and uncle always have me clean everything back home."

The Weasley matriarch didn't know what to say. This young boy always had to clean? She couldn't imagine doing dishes by hand. Gardening was one thing, dishes were another.

"Here, let me help," Molly offered as she got up. "You wash, I dry." She grabbed a towel and went to work next to Harry.

Who knows, maybe some things are better without magic.
