A/N: By popular request, I took a break from what I was working on to finish this next chapter. Enjoy!

"What is it, Natsu?" Elfman asked, sitting across from Natsu at his cabin in the woods.

"Well, I'm assuming you know by now," he answered, slightly awkwardly. "Not that there's anything, in particular, you can do to change it, but I claimed Mira as my mate."

"Your first mate," Lisanna corrected.

"Why everyone knows about that is beyond me…" Natsu mumbled as Mirajane giggled.

"Oh, don't act like you're not at least a little glad. That doesn't change the fact that I get to keep you to myself for at least a few days," Mira smiled and snuggled in closer to him.

"Telling me is manly, though it's manlier to ask permission first," Elfman nodded sagely. "As long as you can be a real man for her, I accept you as a man."

"As if you need to," Mira rolled her eyes. "But thanks…"

"Well...that's it," Natsu said. "That was all I wanted to talk to you about. Seeing as I dragged you all the way out here, I guess you can stay as long as you'd like."

"You know, Natsu, we should really expand this place," Mira commented. "It's too small."

"What's wrong with the-wait, we?" he asked, caught off-guard.

"Of course, 'we,'" she looked at him strangely. "Did you not expect me to come live with you?"

"I mean, no!" he defended. "This whole thing happened yesterday!"

"I don't see the problem. Unless...you don't want me living here?" Mira welled her eyes with fake tears and put on a pathetic look.

"I-look don't-...fine... We'll make it bigger…" Natsu gave up.

"Yay~!" she smiled, hugging the fire mage.

"I feel like this is going to happen a lot…" Natsu grumbled again. "So, Lis, how have you been?"

The four made small talk until around early afternoon when Mira persuaded the group to head back to the guild. The group included Natsu, of course, to which she took great pleasure in trapping his arm against her chest.

As they reentered the guildhall, they were once again the primary topic of interest, various people whispering to each other and all-around gossiping about the progression of the past few days. Cana, being the brash person she is, decided to just go right up ahead and be forward about it.

"So," she started. "You two, huh?"

"Your point being?" Natsu asked, eyeing her suspiciously.

"Does that mean all the disks with 'M' on them are meant for Mirajane?" Cana responded. "We've got bets to settle, you know."

"If you already think they are, then probably. I've made a lot of music, Cana, you'll have to be more specific."

"Horns," she stated.

"Yeah, that'd be her," he nodded.

"Just cut to the chase already!" someone called.

"Yeah, I'm working on it! Shut your trap!" she yelled back. "Can we listen to more without you hating us more?"

"I never said I hated you. It just would have been nice if you'd asked first," Natsu answered, continuing to sip his drink as Mira rested her head on his arm. "Since you did, then whatever.."

"All right! It's a-go!" Cana shouted out.

"YEAH!"

"PARTY TIME!"

"WOOHOO!" the guild erupted into cheers.

"Why doesn't the man in question recommend one?" Cana asked.

"I really don't-" Natsu started.

"That's a great idea!" Mira exclaimed, looking at him with pleading eyes. "Please? Would you pick one of your favorites?"

"You're really milking the fact that I can't say no to you, aren't you…" Natsu groaned. "Fine. Play With Fire. Smallest box."

"In here somewhere?" Levy asked, digging around in the box he mentioned. "Ah! Found it!"

"Aye, of course, Natsu picks a song about fire!" Happy teased.

"And your favorite is about fish," Natsu pointed out.

"THAT'S COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!"

"Who cares, just play it!" Cana ordered.

"Listening to music is a MAN!" Elfman roared.

"Alright! This doesn't have a letter on it," Levy mentioned, as she placed the disk into the player. (Song: Play with Fire by Sam Tinnesz)

Insane, Inside
The danger gets me high
Can't help myself
Got secrets I can't tell
I love the smell of gasoline
I light the match to taste the heat

"This is manly!" Elfman exclaimed.

"Pyro," Gray scoffed, though, secretly, this was by far his favorite.

"Ice boy," Natsu responded, as the song continued.

I've always liked to play with fire
Play with fire
I've always liked to play with fire

"You sound really cool," Mirajane told him.

"Ironic," Natsu chuckled.

"Who was that?" Mira asked, beating the rest of the room to the question.

"Ellie. Friend of hers," Natsu shrugged. "She came by every once in a while."

"Do I need to be worried?" she teased.

"No, but I might need to be. She doesn't swing my way."

"Oh?"

I've always liked to play with fire
Play with fire
Play with fire
Fire, fire
I've always liked to play with fire
Oh
Watching as the flames get higher
Oh
I've always liked to play with

Right of passage, classic maverick
Match in the gas tank, oh that's wretched
Unstoppable, legendary animal
Mmm
Digital justice, now you gonna know us
Hail to the king and queen of the ruckus
Yacht money wired, no denying
I've always liked to play with fire

"She's really good," Mira commented. "You're right, you might need to be worried."

Natsu grunted lightly and held Mira a little tighter, to which she giggled.

I've always liked to play with fire

"That song was MANLY!" Elfman declared.

"Let me guess; he's said that about pretty much every song so far?" Natsu asked.

"Pretty much," Mira giggled back.

"So do you have songs for everyone, Natsu?" Lucy questioned. "Not just Mira and Lisanna?"

"Most of the important ones, aye," the pyro nodded.

"What's that supposed to mean?" an unnamed Fairy Tail member demanded.

"It means we're not main characters. We didn't even get names," a second told him.

"We're just the peanut gallery? Come on!"

"Alright, then I want my song! We're drinking buddies, right?" Cana volunteered.

"If you say so. Feel Good Inc. Same box as the last one," Natsu gestured.

"Hell yeah! Sounds like my jam!" Cana cheered and quickly found her song. (Song: Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz)

Hahahahahahahahahahaa
Feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
(Change, change, change, change)
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
(Change, change, change, change)
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good

"Well, this song definitely screams Cana," Levy chuckled.

"Hell YES!" Cana whooped.

City's breaking down on a camel's back
They just have to go, 'cause they don't know wack
So while you fill the streets, it's appealing to see
And you won't get out the county 'cause you're damned and free
You got a new horizon, its ephemeral style
A melancholy town where we never smile
And all I wanna hear is the message beep
My dreams, they got her kissing 'cause I don't get to sleep, no
(*beep*)

"Ephemeral?" Mira asked.

"Short or brief. It's about escapism," Natsu explained, as if that was obvious.

"Yeah...you're explaining this after."

Windmill, windmill for the land
Turn forever, hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is ticking, falling down
Love forever, love is free
Let's turn forever, you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?

"Now all it needs is a good rap verse," Gray commented.

"That's what I thought," Natsu grinned devilishly.

Laughin' gas, these hazmats, fast cats
Linin' 'em up like ass cracks
Play these ponies at the track
It's my chocolate attack
Shit, I'm steppin' in the heart of this here (Yeah)
Care Bear repping in harder this year (Yeah)
Watch me as I gravitate, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Yo, we gon' ghost town this Motown
With yo' sound, you in the blink
Gon' bite the dust, can't fight with us
With yo' sound, you kill the Inc
So don't stop, get it, get it (Get it)
Until you're cheddar headed
And watch the way I navigate, hahahahaha

(Ha! Haha! Haha! Haha! Ha!)
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good

"Never do that again," Mira shivered. "That's terrifying."

Lisanna nodded her agreement. "Never. Never again."

Windmill, windmill for the land
Turn forever, hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is ticking, falling down
Love forever, love is free
Let's turn forever, you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?

Don't stop, get it, get it, peep how your captain's in it
(Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good)
Steady, watch me navigate, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
(Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good)
Don't stop, get it, get it, peep how your captain's in it
(Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good)
Steady, watch me navigate, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
(Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good)

Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good (Hahaha!)
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good (Hahaha!)
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good (Hahaha!)
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca; feel good (Hahahahahaha!)

"What did I JUST tell you, Natsu?" Mira glared at him.

"Wait! Hold on a second!" he tried to defend.

"I believe we told him to never do that creepy laugh thing again, isn't that right?" Lisanna clarified.

"Exactly."

"IT'S ALREADY DONE, IT'S NOT LIKE I COULD CHANGE IT MID-SONG!" Natsu cried.

"Before you two kill Natsu, I have some questions," Levy piped up, fixing her glasses slightly.

"YES! ANY QUESTIONS YOU WANT!" Natsu answered quickly.

"Well, you said the song was about escapism. What did you mean by that?"

"Well, think about it like how someone uses a vice," he shrugged. "I got the idea from Cana. She drinks to forget her problems. Some people smoke, others drink, and I write music. It's an escape, thus, escapism."

"..."

"..."
"..."

"What?"

"No one's used to you having a brain, flame-brain," Gray scowled.

"Yeah, well no one's used to you having clothes on, ice dick. Oh wait, you don't!"

"Ah, dammit! When did that happen!"

"Well, I for one," Cana drawled. "Thought it was awesome. Coulda used some alcohol though...got any songs with alcohol references?"

"That's extraordinarily vague, Cana…" Natsu deadpanned.

"I dunno, just gimme some rock and roll!"

"Now that I can do. Rock + Roll, middle box. Personal favorite of mine."

"I'll get it!" Elfman volunteered. "Rock and roll is MANLY!"

"You used a plus sign in the title of a song?" Mira questioned, quirking an eyebrow. "What's up with that?"

"...I was going through a phase…"

"Found it! This is a MAN'S song!" Elfman declared, lumbering over to the lacrima player and popping it in.

"Every song so far has been manly, you big oaf!" Evergreen scolded.

"Ever…" he pouted.

"And don't call me that!" (Song: Rock + Roll by Eden)

So tell me this is who you are
They tell me I've got something more
And oh, "you could be loved"
But I don't want the lights to find me when I'm dark and lost
But never on my own

'Cause I just wanna swing like Sinatra
Singing like I can't stop
'Cause I could never rock like a Rolling Stone
I just wanna live like the ones before, yeah
And maybe I could play guitar like Hendrix
Or save the world or end it
And then maybe they'll remember me when I'm gone
That's all I could ever want
That's all I want

"Uh...Natsu? I don't-"

"Damn!" Macao exclaimed. "That's a kick-ass solo!"

"Yeah, it is!" Wakaba agreed.

"But I still don't-" Mira never got to finish her sentence, as the lyrics came roaring back.

So I got ten minutes to be all or nothing to
Whoever wants to hear
And I got ten weeks of talking bullshit on repeat 'till I'm burnt out and disappear
But I owe you nothing
And I own my luck
Oh, they said "you'll never be alone again"
But I don't think you understand me or what I fear
"But you could be loved"
But I don't wanna lie to tell myself
I'm more than all the mistakes I've outrun

"This is catchy," Lisanna commented. "I think it's my favorite so far, Natsu."

"Really? I'm surprised."

"I'm a rock kinda girl, Natsu," she winked at him. "Bet you'd never have thought that huh?"

"Honestly? No."

'Cause I'm only here for a minute
And I don't care what you say 'cause I know
You're only here 'cause I'm winning
But I can be my own kind of rock and roll
I don't really care if you say you don't fuck with me
And I can say what the fuck I want 'cause it's down to me
And I got love for you even if you are doubting me
Like, oh my God, I just can't stop

'Cause I just wanna sing like Sinatra
With ethanol my soundtrack
'Cause I could never rock like a Rolling Stone
I wonder how it feels to burn out young, yeah
'Cause I just wanna die before my heart fails
From heartbreak or cocktails and
Then maybe you'll cry once you know I'm gone
That's all I could ever want
Oh, that's all I want, yeah

"Natsu, who are those people?" the barmaid finally managed to ask.

"A bunch of other musicians. Really good guitarists that the lady who taught me told me about. They fit in with the song."

'Cause it's all we've got
What are we breathin' for if we ain't living?
(What's under the words you know - that's all I want)
And I don't want your love
I just wanna feel like I'm still livin'
(Something more than superficial is all I want)
And if there is no god
I know the day I die, I lived through heaven
Sex, drugs, and rock and roll - that's all I want
And that I gave it hell
And if it hurt, oh well
At least that's living

I just don't know what I'm supposed to be, you know?
I tried being a writer but I hate what I write
And I tried taking pictures but they were so mediocre
You know, and every girl goes through a photography phase
You know, like horses, you know, take, uh, dumb pictures of your feet
You'll figure that out - I'm not worried about you
