Author's Note: Enjoy the story and R&R.
Disclaimer: I do not own anything related to or of the Shooting Star Rockman series.
Pairing: Established Subaru x Tsukasa.
Summary:
Every Tsukasa deserves a Subaru.
What love song in Earth's history could rocket to the moon?
Hibiki Misora could pull it off, but she was apt to search for more earthbound sources of ideas when coming up with a new song for her repertoire.
Subaru wasn't the bragging type (that was War-Rock's department), but he couldn't resist patting himself on the back a little. Figuratively, he means: He didn't have the free hand to do so, as one hand was War-Rock's head, and contact with the other stood in for Tsukasa's dependence on oxygen.
Tsukasa reposed on Subaru – on Rockman – absorbing the astronomical blue of the planet's oceans and the swirling white of the clouds through his brown eyes.
In his pure, unexploited state of mind, Tsukasa was a quiet sprite. The ruthless persona which developed out of Gemini's mental shocks was the silent schemer, whereas Tsukasa the child muted his speech due to social doubt, not a sick anticipation to pull surprise strikes from secrecy.
Whether the potential for badness yet existed in him or not, Subaru never gave up on him either way.
Every Tsukasa deserved a Subaru to pull them out of their lonely shell. In this universe, this espousal took the form of Hoshikawa Subaru doing everything in his power to rescue Futaba Tsukasa from the violent split in his personality sparked by Gemini. In another, maybe a Subaru convinced a Tsukasa of her will to live, and woke that Tsukasa up from a deep, digital sleep.
Humans ascribed to the moon male and female personifications. Tsukuyomi and Diana. Thoth and Artemis. But in space, the moon is a sexless celestial body. Tsukasa, a boy with an androgynous appearance and unisex name. Elsewhere, a girl with a male Wavemaster avatar.
The plus and minus sparks in Tsukasa…Near and far sides of the moon.
While it wouldn't be synchronous, light would light either side.
