I don't deserve your love

But you give it to me anyway

Matthew was coming to Downton for the first time to meet everybody. Everyone has some apprehension but each was slightly excited. However Cora was feeling guilt on her shoulders. If she had just had a boy no ones life would of been so uprooted. Yet here we are. Three daughters later and a distnant cousin as an heir. Cora felt as if all this was her fault. Robert was sat next to her and was staring at her. She wondered if he could read minds because it felt as if he knew what she was thinking. Cora didn't deserve Robert love, Cora felt like she failed him and that he deserved better. But yet he gave her a kiss on the neck and whispered softly just how much he loved her. She felt like she did not deserve the love Robert gave her, yet he gave it to her regardless.

Can't get enough

You're everything I need

Robert was bored. He had finished all his duties, no job came to him, so he decided that he needed to find something to do. It was a lovely day out, and he wanted to go for a walk, but he decided he wanted a companion. Now. You see, every word I just wrote was Robert lying to himself. Robert wanted to find Cora to walk with him, because he could never get enough from her, he wanted attention from the one human that was everything he needed, and he could not get enough of it. You would be delighted to know, him and Cora spent the rest of the afternoon together.

And when I walk away

You take off running and come right after me

It's what you do

Robert went for a walk. It was nine o'clock on a winter night with rain pouring from the heavens. Robert felt lost ever since his father had died. Robert was struggling with his duties while mourning his beloved father all on his own. He heard squelching behind him, he supposed his mother had called for a servent to bring him inside, even if he did not want to. He then felt the familiar, but wet, arms of his beloved wife wrapped around him. It was at the moment he knew he was not alone through all this, he had Cora. And Cora would help him, it's what she does and he loves her

And I don't deserve you

Cora was staring and she knew it. She drowned out the voices of her mother-in-law and children, instead focusing on her handsome husband. She had already gotten through three cups of Tea in half an hour, just so she could give her hands something to do and hide the blush that appeared every time he looked over in her direction. She felt lucky to have him, she felt as if he deserved better, but he loved her, and she never felt so lucky. There was no reason for these thoughts entering her head. Well, the fact his new suit looked so perfect on him and the first time she seen him wear it earlier they broke a settee, that might have something to do with it.
