Jedi master Shaak Ti sat in her chair in the jedi war chambers trying to listen to the reports of the other jedi knights and masters. Normally the togruta jedi master paid great attention to every detail in the briefings and debriefing of her fellow Jedi. After all, information was crucial in a war, people died over it all the time. Though it had been only a couple weeks, the Clone Wars were in full swing. Shaak Ti had seen plenty of death, fellow jedi, innocent civilians, soldiers under her command. None of it was ever easy but she knew information could make a major difference.

For the last few months she had been getting a feeling from the force. At first it was only in her most deep meditative state. It was just a pulling gut feeling, or perhaps a whisper on the other side of a door. Like something was calling or trying to get her attention but she couldn't grasp it. Like the signal was weak and no one had told her how to connect it or strengthen it.

Shaak Ti has seeked advice from her fellow jedi in the past on it and most of them had different things to say.

Master Yoda said "to the force, we must all listen. Meditate on it, we will. Discover the source of this we shall aspire to" but whether the tiny master did meditate on I or not he never said. Nor did he invite Ti to meditate with him. Yoda always seemed to be busy with the war. Maybe the small master didn't take Shaak Ti's strange force calling seriously?

Master Windu said "right now we need to be here and now in the war and not wander too far with our focus". This was a rather predictable response from Windu as he had his every waking moment dedicated to the ongoing war and that didn't seem like it was going to change anytime soon.

Ki Adi Mundi said "I do not hear anything of the sort. Perhaps you should focus on more tangible things". Master Shaak Ti was surprised by this. Did he think that if he couldn't feel or hear it then it didn't exist? Was he that arrogant? Did he not believe her? Or care? She didn't know what one because Shaak Ti had never been close to Mundi.

The only Jedi that she asked and seemed to take her seriously was Obi-Wan Kenobi. He threw out some possible answers as fast as he thought of them. "Perhaps the force is trying to tell you something? Or perhaps some force sensitive is calling out for help and you can feel it? Is it just you? Do others feel it? Could it be some kind of lure by the sith? A trap perhaps?" The genuine curiosity of his questions could be felt though the force and shark's opinion of the jedi knight rose considerably. He then asked her to keep him informed on it and offered his help in any way he could whenever he could spare. "I could meditate with you to see if I can feel it. I could be in the room while you do as a guard or my padawan and myself would happily accompany you if it leads you to a location, to spring a trap or simply keep you company" Obi-wan's words helped motivate her to look into it deeper.

So far though, all it had brought her were headaches and empty feelings. No names or locations or anything else was ever given. Weeks led into months and now she occasionally felt it when she wasn't meditating. Slowly but surely it came more frequently and with greater intensity. Until when the feeling came it overpowered her regular senses.

So now Shaak sat in the war chambers doing her best to act interested in the goings of the war. But she couldn't even hear what was being said. Everything was drowned out by this call.

Master Windu started speaking of something. She could see his lips moving but all sound was gone.

Only silence remained.

Then her vision started to dim.

Everything started to grow dark but she could feel she wasn't passing out.. but being pulled away.

The feeling.

The call of someone too far to understand and straining yourself to hear.

Like a shadow at the corner of her eye, if she were to focus on it, the shape slips away.

Like the feeling of forgetting the words you needed. It sat on the tip of your tongue just out of reach.

It was like walking into a room and forgetting what you came for. You knew it was important but for the life of you it remained just out of your grasp.

Shaak couldn't even pretend to listen to the meeting. Her eyes couldn't focus. Her ears heard nothing. So she did the only thing that came to mind.

Closing her eyes and sitting cross-legged she took a deep breath and attempted to meditate, to dive into the feeling and hopefully finally grasp it.

A sound like a gentle breeze that slowly grew into a wind.

Flashes of light followed. Blue and red back and forth with different intensities as the lights clashed.

A deep mechanical breathing. In and out never changing pace no matter how the lights clashed.

Finally voices drifted through but nothing made sense.

"When I left you I was but the learner. Now I am the master" the voice was deep and mechanical and probably belonged to whoever was breathing.

"Only a master of evil Darth" replied an old but sassy voice.

Darth? As in sith? Was a jedi fighting a sith? Was that what the lights were? Is this a vision? Is it happening now? Did it already happen? Was it the future?

Before Shaak Ti could find any answers to the questions bombarding her mind the voices continued.

The deep voice and presumably the red light, the sith, spoke again.

"Your powers are weak, old man."

Shaak Ti could almost feel the blue light smile as it replied "you can't win Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine"

The lights continued to clash back and forth, the red one seemed to push the blue one back. Suddenly another light joined but further away. The smaller blue light watched the dark red and pale blue light clash back and forth until the deep blue light paused and the red one split it in two and it faded in and Instant.

"NO!"

The pale light yelled and then the sounds of multiple blasters went off and the lights faded.

M.A.

Mace Windu had been going over the previous battle he was a part of. Standing in the center of the room over a holo table that had maps and stats flashing in blue. In the middle of a sentence he stopped speaking almost as if someone stole his voice. The room was too quiet. No one was listening to him, he realized.

In an instant he was about to raise his voice and scold his fellow jedi when even that died on his lips as he realized why no one was paying attention to him.

Master Shaak Ti was in a trance. Her eyes closed and looked like she was in pain. Her normally red skin was pale and almost pink. She was sweating bullets but more than that, she was floating.

Roughly three feet in the air the togruta master floated and slowly spun. Pain etched across her normally calm features.

"What's going on?" Windu spoke softly directed at the other masters who were also transfixed on Shaak Ti's floating form.

Master Yoda was the first to respond.

"Know, we do not. Though the force, connected she is. A vision, perhaps?"

Nobody moved for a long moment while the floating master made a full rotation.

"Join her, I will attempt" Yoda spoke before sitting near Shaak Ti's chair and pointing his clawed hand at her and letting out a slow breath trying to focus on the force. To surround himself in it. To connect to it and through it connect to jedi Ti.

The small ancient master was partially successful. He managed to connect to Ti but was not able to see or hear anything that she was seeing or hearing. All Yoda could do was feel how she reacted to whatever it was. In an instant he knew the vision or ordeal was about to end as her Consciousness was practically thrown back into her body.

Yoda reached out with the force and managed to catch Shaak Ti before she fell to the floor and gently set her down.

"Seen something, have you?" Yoda asks

It took a moment for Ti to reply as she needed to catch her breath. "I'm not sure, master. It was a fight of some kind and a sith killing a jedi leaving his padawan behind, but I didn't see.. just lights and voices"

Windu steepled his fingers together. "Did you hear any names? Anything to tell you where or when it was?"

"No, just old man and Darth. No mention of place or any way to define time"

Shaak Ti stood up. "I must find answers to this .. vision or call that has been plaguing me for months. Perhaps I can find information in the archives or meditate and reconnect with it" with that she bowed to her fellow masters and left the room.

There was a moment of silence before knight Kenobi stood up. "I shall accompany her and see if I can help her in any way" the human master bowed and left to follow the Togruta.

"Well this is an interesting development" Master Plo Koon stated

"Interested in her findings, I am" stated master Yoda.

M.A.

It felt useless to the two jedi. Meditating didn't bring anything. Shaak Ti still had the feeling but now it was present at all times, just under the surface.

They didn't find anything in the archives. Ti repeated the whole conversation to Obi-Wan but what was there to go on except for the old man, Darth, and the thing about becoming more powerful after death. No answers at all could be found.

Obi-Wan did find the old man's sass quite entertaining even though he was struck down. That kinda confidence and humor even facing death was something Obi-Wan aspired to have after all.

It was another couple weeks before Shaak Ti made any more developments. In the middle of the night in her room in the jedi temple she could feel the pull get stronger, almost like it was getting louder. So she did the only thing she could. TI sat on her bed and meditated and opened herself to the force and whatever it had to show her.

The mechanical breathing was the first thing to resume. Never changing pace.

Then the ignition of a red lightSaber.

This time the light was actually a lightSaber but she couldn't make out who or what was holding it. Just a giant black mass, like a shadow.

Then a second lightsaber joined this time blue attached to a blurry gray but light blue shadow.

"The fear does not reach you. You have learned more than I anticipated" the deep voice belonging to the red lightsaber spoke.

"You'll find I'm full of surprises" a young voice replied back

A child? Perhaps a young human? Was it the small light from before?

The mechanical voice replied "And I too" before the two beings met in combat.

"Your future lies with us … Now you will embrace the dark side. .. knew this to be true"

The pauses .. were they supposed to be names? Why couldn't I hear them? Shaak Ti thought to herself.

"No!" The young voice yelled back.

"There is much .. did not tell you. Come, the Emperor will complete your training."

Emperor? What was going on here? Emperor of what?

"I'll die first!"

"That won't be necessary" the red sabered being almost laughed as he replied.

The two beings continue their battle. Shaak Ti assumed there was more talking but she can't hear it as there are pauses in the combat.

Eventually the young one backs into a tunnel and the vision goes dark for a moment but doesn't quite fade. As it all comes clear again there is actually some background and environment.

A ship? Or city? Building?

The two beings are fighting along some kind of room with a giant window at the back and it's clear the young one with the blue lightsaber is outmatched and the sith being is toying with him. The blue form is breathing hard and looking on the verge of passing out but still looking determined.

"You are beaten. It's useless to resist" the red one states as if it's a fact.

The blue one lunges and manages to hit the red sabered being on the shoulder but it's all for not as the being almost shrugs it off before replying.

"Don't let yourself be destroyed as .. did. You will join me or join .. in death"

The red sabered being used the force to hurl a crate at the window behind the young blue one. It smashed the window and a huge suction of air pulled at them both after a moment the younger one was pulled out of the window.

The scene resumes as the two fight along a catwalk over a huge abyss. The two combatants are much more clear in their shape but still no faces and Ti can tell they are both human, or at least the young assumed Jedi is.

Railing is cut and destroyed as the blue sabered human is pushed back, and back. Until they're finally at the edge.

The huge dark being sees a moment of pause and makes his move slicing off the young one's hand, just above the wrist. The hand and the lightsaber tumble into the abyss below.

"There is no escape. Don't make me destroy you. You do not yet realize your importance. You have only begun to discover your power. Join me and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy."

Destructive conflict? Does he mean the clone Wars? Was this happening right now at this moment somewhere out in the galaxy?

"I'll never join you!" Was the defiant reply as the young one clutched his forearm to his chest and skirted across a small bar to what looked like a transmission antenna.

"If you only knew the power of the dark side. .. never told you what happened to your father."

Father? Jedi don't know their family. They're not allowed attachments.

"He told me enough. It was you who killed him."

"No. I am your father"

Silence for a pause as both Shaak Ti and the young jedi processed that Information.

"No. No. That's not true. That's impossible!" Cried the now handles jedi.

"Search your feelings. you know it to be true."

"No. No. No!"

"Luke. You can destroy the Emperor. He has foreseen this. It is your destiny. Join me, and together we can rule the galaxy as father and son. Come with me. It is the only way."

Luke? So the jedi's name is Luke that gives me a start where to look. Shaak Ti thought to herself.

The sith put his blood red lightsaber away before offering the injured jedi his hand and for a brief moment Shaak Ti thinks he will take it, but instead the young human let's the wind take him and he falls down the shaft to his certain death.

Shaak Ti is practically thrown from the vision as her body stopped floating and came crashing to the bed. Taking a couple moments, Ti tried to commit everything she just saw and heard to memory before sending transmissions to both Yoda and Kenobi asking them to meet her in the archives.

Half of an hour later the three jedi sat in a corner of the archives while Shaak Ti recounted her vision to the other two. Once finished it was master Yoda who spoke first.

"In nine hundred years, a jedi named Luke, herd of ,I have not."

"Perhaps it is from the distant past? Or the future?" Replied Kenobi.

There was a moment of quiet before Kenobi asked "are there still other factions of jedi? There were lots at one point. Jedi who have left the order, or beings who follow the teachings but are not a part of our order. Is it possible some survived that we haven't met?"

"Possible, it is," agreed Yoda.

"Then these visions I have been seeing could be happening as they come to me." stated Ti.

There was a moment of silence before Master Yoda said he would meditate on it and see if he could find any answers and both Kenobi and Ti decided to try and search the archives on a Jedi with a Sith father or anyone named Luke at all. Any extra time the trio had was spent searching archives or even just meditating but nothing was found in the following weeks. No mention of Luke. no mentions of a jedi with a sith father.

The archives were enormous so there was always hope.

On the matter of other Jedi factions all three masters had placed inquiries into it but had seen no results as of yet. If there were other factions they were hiding during this war or didnt currently exist.

M.A.

It was just over a month later that the next vision hit. In the weeks up to the vision Master Shaak Ti had a few small flashes. None lasted more than a moment. Almost like a photo but having only a few seconds.

A scorching hot desert with such bright sun it was hard to see.

The ignition of a lightsaber for the first time. The bright green lighting up a tiny room.

Green? Wasn't it blue before? Did he change that much or was it someone else's lightsaber to begin with?

A giant rancor lumbering towards the young Jedi.

A sand pit that looked to have teeth.

Running through a hot swamp sweaty and covered in muck.

A massive space station exploding and feeling countless lives end with it. Was it a million? 2 million? Too many to count.

A snow covered plains with nothing in any direction while riding some sort of two legged mount.

A cave with a monster lumbering towards him while the Jedi's feet were stuck in the ceiling.

Coming out of hyperspace and feeling like millions more lifeforms were wiped out. Then hearing a new voice say the planet was no more.

A tiny hut looking at an empty bed much too small for the human with a profound feeling of being lost and alone.

Seeing flash after flash at random points at random times of the day or week gave Shaak Ti a bit of insight. Either it couldn't be happening right now, or it was an extremely diverse planet. The travel time to go to planets with these sort of locations would be much greater then the time between flashes. She knew of very few planets with such diverse biomes and when she looked into them none had the vast seas of desert or the large plains of snow and also a swamp of large area. No planet in the jedi archives matched it.. so it had to be multiple. Leading Shaak Ti to the conclusion that it couldn't be happening as she saw the visions.

And with the space station blowing up and a planet at well it was basically impossible it was happening at this moment. The Jedi would have felt it .. right?

We're the visions of the past or future?

Why was she seeing them to begin with?

The questions hadn't left the togruta's mind in weeks.

M.A.

Shaak Ti found any excuse she could to meet with both Yoda and Kenobi and update them on her visions and the findings of them. They both agreed on her assessment that the visions were not of the present but either the past or the future, but neither could agree on what one they were from.

The other thing they discussed was why Shaak Ti was getting the visions, but same with when they were from nobody could come to any definite conclusions.

Why was Ti getting them? Was she supposed to learn from them? Prepare for something? Relate it to something? They could only speculate.

Shaak Ti had been in Courasant for 4 days and was scheduled to go back to the front lines the next day but decided to postpone it because that forever force pull she had been feeling was getting stronger.

This time she wouldn't be caught off guard.

Acting fast she sent messages to both Kenobi and Yoda that she felt something coming and she was going to be in one of the meditation rooms if they could join her.

The Jedi temple was a massive place and it always took a while to walk from one section to the next. Ti's master had told her that it was to make padawans learn patience. She never believed it. At this moment she wasn't feeling patient in the slightest as all worldly sounds started to disappear into the background and voices from the visions started spilling through.

"I can't kill my own father."

"Then the Emperor has already won. You were our only hope"

Only hope? Shaak Ti thought to herself trying to stay conscious and make it to the meditation chambers.

Each step got more and more difficult and more of the vision poured over her.

The deep mechanical breathing returned. "I see you have constructed a new lightsaber"

The sound of the lightsabre being lit.

"Your skills are complete. Indeed you are powerful as the Emperor has foreseen"

Shaak Ti stumbled out of an elevator on her destined floor and placed one hand on the wall to steady herself and continued on.

"You do not know the power of the darkside"

Her vision was losing focus as she rounded the last corner and came face to face with Kenobi.

"I can't hold the visions back much longer." She stated as Master Kenobi automatically braced her and helped her into the room where Master Yoda was already waiting.

Kenobi helped her onto one of the seats as Yoda spoke. "Attempt to join you, we shall. See what you do, hopefully we will."

Master Shaak Ti finally let herself relax and let the vision wash over her. The first thing she noticed was three separate presenses. The first was the young jedi but now it felt almost overwhelming with the force. It surrounded him like a blanket of protection from the light with tinges of dark. The second was the same being that the mechanical breathing came from. It was just as large as the young jedi's but much, much darker and full of so much pain and hatred. The third presence was from a cloaked and hooded figure on a chair at the end of the room looking out a window. It was so dark. So evil and full of malice, like it's presence alone, was trying to hurt everything around it.

The three titans in the force came into focus.

The young jedi was wearing a black suit and his hands were cuffed.

"Welcome young Jedi, I have been expecting you" the cloaked figure spoke. Shaak assumed this was the Emperor and did her best to study him, but there wasn't much to see as he was still cloaked and it was just his face visible. Extremely wrinkled and scarred.

"You won't need those" with a tiny motion of the Emperor's finger the cuffs fell to the floor.

"Guards. Leave us" the Emperor commanded and the sounds of footsteps could be heard and a door opening and closing but nothing was seen in the vision.

"I'm looking forward to completing your training. In time you will call me master" the scarred old man spoke with absolute certainty to the jedi.

"You're gravely mistaken. You won't convert me like you did my father."

The Emperor got up from his throne and approached Luke as if inspecting him closely.

"Oh no my young jedi, I'm afraid it is you that is gravely mistaken about a great many things" the Emperor practically cackled.

The mechanical sith hands the Emperor a hilt. "His lightsaber" his deep voice seems to come from nowhere as his mask never moved.

"Ah, yes, a Jedi's weapon. Much like your father's. By now you must know your father can never be turned from the dark side. So will it be with you."

Luke stood defiantly "you're wrong. Soon I'll be dead. And you with me."

The Emperor simply laughed and motioned to the moon out the window and described how everything was a trap that he planned to get the rebels here to end them all at once. How the shield generator would be operational because a garrison of his best troops were amusing Luke's friends as they spoke and how the rebel fleet would arrive any moment to a fully operational battle station.

All of it went over Ti's head.

Rebels? Fleet? Battle station? None of it made any sense at all.

"Come boy. Come see for yourself" the Emperor commanded as he sat back on his throne placing Luke's lightsaber beside him.

Luke walked to the window where lights flashed in the distance. Presumably some kinda space battle.

"From here you will witness the final destruction of the Alliance, and the end of your insignificant Rebellion."

It was obvious Luke was under stress as he started to sweat as he repeatedly looked towards his lightsaber and back to the window.

"You want this, don't you?" The Emperor indicated to the lightsaber beside him "The hate is swelling in you now. Take your Jedi weapon. Use it. I am unarmed. Strike me down with it. Give in to your anger. With each passing moment, you make yourself more my servant."

"No!" Cried Luke forcing himself to look out the window at his dying friends.

"It is unavoidable. It is your destiny. You, like your father, are now mine!"

A ship crashes and explodes into a shield around the space station.

"As you can see, my young apprentice, your friends have failed. Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle station." Pressing a button on his comlink. "Fire at will, Commander."

A massive green Laser flew out from the station somewhere under them and one of the bigger rebel ships disappeared in a flash. Anger and hatred flashed on Luke's face.

Giant Laser blast after giant Laser blast continued to fire out into the battle and ship after ship was vaporized by it.

"Your fleet has lost. And your friends on the moon will not survive. There is no escape, my young apprentice. The Alliance will die...as will your friends."

Luke stares at the Emperor eyes full of hate and Shaak Ti can feel his aura grow darker by the moment but can only watch in horror as the young jedi drifted closer and closer to the darkside.

"Good. I can feel your anger. I am defenseless. Take your weapon! Strike me down with all your hatred, and your journey towards the dark side will be complete."

Luke reaches out his hand and his lightsaber flies into it and springs to life. The brilliant green blade is immediately swung downward in an attempt to cut down the Emperor but a red blade is already there to block it. Luke followed the blade to his father's hand and they met eye to eye as they both prepared to fight.

Shaak Ti could feel the tension in the air as both combatants called on the force to aid them. Both were extremely strong in the force, stronger than anyone Ti had ever felt before and the entire time the Emperor was practically feasting off the hatred and fear of the battle outside. The only issue was that it was rather obvious that Luke was much more inexperienced in the ways of the force then the dark sith.

An intense lightsaber battle commenced, red and green clashing back and forth. This time unlike their last duel Luke is the one with the advantage, pushing the black sith back and eventually knocking him down some stairs.

"Good. Use your aggressive feelings, boy! Let the hate flow through you." The Emperor laughed while saying it.

Luke looked to the Emperor then to his father and shut off his lightsaber and took a deep breath trying to drive the Hate from his being.

The towering black sith stands up and makes his way up the stairs.

"I will not fight you, father," Luke declares.

"You are unwise to lower your defenses" the sith replies before swinging his red saber towards him. Luke uses the force to propel him in a back flip up to a catwalk above.

"Your thoughts betray you father. I feel the good in you. The conflict."

"There is no conflict" the sith states easily.

"You couldn't bring yourself to kill me before and I don't think you'll destroy me now"

"You underestimate the power of the darkside. If you will not fight then you will meet your destiny"

The large sith threw his red saber up at the catwalk cutting it down and throwing Luke to the ground.

The Emperor laughed, "Good, good."

The towering sith used his lightsaber as a light in the dark to try and find Luke.

"You can not hide forever Luke"

"I will not fight you father." Was the reply from the darkness.

"Give yourself to the darkside. It is the only way you can save your friends. Yes, your thoughts betray you. Your feelings are strong, especially for.. your sister. So you have a twin sister. Your feelings have now betrayed her too. Your master was wise to hide her from me. Now his failure is complete. If you will not turn to the darkside then perhaps she will."

"No!" Luke shouted and ignited his lightsaber and lunged at his father.

Green met red one again and the two duelists fought with anger. At first it seemed evenly matched but then Luke lost control and pushed even harder with his anger pushing back his father. Eventually he pushed him back to a catwalk and then to his knees. The sith raised his blade to defend himself but Luke cut off his hand revealing the mechanical wires and bits underneath.

Seeing the wires made Luke pause he removed his right hand from his hilt and looked from it to his father's cut wrist.

"Good, good. Your hate has made you powerful. Now fulfill your destiny and take your father's place at my side."

Luke turned off his lightsaber and clipped it to his belt.

"Never. I'll never turn to the darkside. You failed your highness. I'm a jedi like my father before me."

The Emperor's laugh stopped, and he looked at Luke with hatred.

"So be it jedi. If you won't be turned .. you will be destroyed!"

The Emperor lifted his hands and bolts of lightning flew out of his fingertips towards Luke. The young jedi managed to relight his saber and attempted to use tutaminus. He had read about it once but never had a chance to practice the technique to block, absorb, or deflect energy.

Luke lasted about 7 seconds before his lightsaber was thrown from his hands and he took on the full blast of the sith lightning, crumbling to the ground as the lightning persisted.

The wounded sith got to his feet and stood at his master's side and watched as his son was continuously blasted with force lighting.

"Young fool.. only now at the end do you understand." The Emperor spoke in a brief pause of his lightning before tensing his fingers and blasting more lightning towards Luke.

"Your feeble skills are no match are no match for the power of the darkside. You have paid the price for your lack of vision"

Luke writhed on the ground while lightning coursed through his body, scorching and burning him as it went.

Shaak Ti could do nothing but watch as the young lonesome jedi was blasted again and again, and again, with powerful force lightning. She watched unable to do anything at all thinking no one should have to go through this.

Luke reached his hand up battling the lightning coursing through his body. "Father, please.. help me" he called to the wounded sith.

It didn't seem possible but the Emperor hearing Luke call for his father got even more enraged and increased the intensity of the lightning.

"Now young jedi.. you will die"

The lightning tendrils grew darker as Luke screamed, writhing on the ground.

This went on for some time until Luke's screams stopped but he kept twitching, dying slowly as he struggled to even breath under the assault of the force lightning.

Shaak Ti couldn't help it, her heart broke and a few tears fell down her cheeks watching the young jedi slowly die under this torture. Before Luke could die, surprising everyone the wounded sith picked up the Emperor and stumbled towards the shaft below all the while taking the full blast of force lightning. Once he reached the edge he threw the sith lord down the shaft to his death.

There were a few moments of raspy breathing from both Luke and his father before Luke managed to get to his feet, grab his lightsaber and approach the downed sith. No words are spoken as Luke did his best to lift his father and bring him down the halls towards one of the docking bays.

A few moments Into it a large explosion Rocked the station and Luke stumbled as an alarm started to blare and troopers in similar armor to clones started to run in all directions.

Luke managed to get down another hall before another blast made him fall, dropping his father in the process. The wounded sith grabbed Luke's arm using his only hand.

"Luke, help me take this mask off."

"But you'll die."

"Nothing can stop that now. Just this once let me look on you with my own eyes."

Luke hesitated for a moment before undoing the mask as gently as he could, letting it fall to the floor. They looked at each other for a moment before the sith spoke weakly.

"Now go my son. Leave me"

"No. You're coming with me. I can't leave you here. I've got to save you."

"You already have Luke. You were right about me. Tell you sister .. you were right."

Luke sheds a single tear. "Father I won't leave you"

The sith uses his remaining strength to lift his good hand and pointing it at Luke and force push him down the hanger bay to a ship, and then the sith took his final breath and his head hit the floor and moved no more.

Luke scrambled to his feet and took two steps towards his father's body when another explosion rocked the station And the ceiling began to collapse. A large section landed between Luke and his father and taking a moment to decide Luke realized his father gave the last of his life to give him a chance to live. Luke climbed into the nearest ship, an imperial shuttle, and started it up while the station seemed to be falling apart.

The ship itself gave alarms of protest as Luke skipped the boot up phases and safety checks to get out faster. His body protested as he sat in the chair and flipped the switches and closed the doors to the exterior, his body still covered in fresh burns and his muscles still giving the odd twitch from the lightning.

The two side wings descended into their flight positions as Luke pushed the throttle to full and left the hangar. Before Luke could get far there was a massive explosion as the second death star blew up from the inside right behind him.

The ship Luke was in was rocked by debris and sent spinning as a large chunk removed both the top wing and the right one.

Luke cursed and scrambled at the controls trying to see how bad the damage was.

"Thrust.. gone. Lightspeed.. gone.. communications.. not responding. Blast!"

Luke slammed his hand on the console and could do nothing as he drifted through space and hoped nothing else hit him while the explosions continued behind him.

When the explosions finally calmed down and Luke was still in one piece though drifting away he tried the systems again and found he had no issue with power and life support but couldn't call anyone or move the ship at all.

Seeing no other option Luke rose from his chair and sat down on the floor in classic meditation position with great protest to his body. He relaxed as much as he could and put himself into a trance and called through the force for help, hoping that Leia would hear and come for him.

Shaak Ti fell from the vision as the meditation room came back into focus and now she knew exactly why she was getting the visions. Ti was getting visions to help the young Jedi, and now she knew where he was. As the Sisson ended the single word of "help" was now clear and the pull was from a specific direction and with a map she could probably pinpoint it.

Masters Yoda and Kenobi came out of their respective meditative trance and Shaak Ti was impatient and quickly asked if they saw anything.

Obi-Wan was the first to reply. "I didn't see much except for lightning, but I heard a great deal. Much about rebels, an alliance, a battle station being operational and the fight between a father and son."

Yoda was next to reply. "Heard that, I did. Much more as well. Saw the duel, as well. Feel the call for aid, go to him you must. Take master Kenobi and take a carrier class ship of clones. Find Luke you must, before the darkside hears his call in the force."

Yoda felt certain he had felt these sith presenses before but couldn't place when or where and vowed to find out.
