Chapter 4

"Wait, Tori!" I heard someone call.

I turned around to see Solomon walking out of the office.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I need to show you and Izzy to your dorm room." Solomon told me.

"Okay," I said, before turning around.

As we walked down the hallway, there was an awkward silence. We got to the stairs knowing that Izzy was probably close to there.

Sure enough, right before we went to the stairs I saw Izzy standing in the dark, leaning against the wall. Izzy looked up at me with a blank stare.

"Hey." Izzy said, only seeing me.

Then Solomon appeared and Izzy gave us both a weird look.

"What are you doing here?" Izzy asked.

"I need to show you two to your dorm room." Solomon told her.

"Okay..." Izzy said, trailing off.

"Good, so, follow me." He told us.

We started walking up the stairs.

"Why are you a Headmaster?" I asked, not fully knowing the whole situation with the school combining.

"Well, a little after your mother left, we combined Blackthorne Institute, and The Gallagher Academy. They needed the guys to have a Headmaster and the girls needed to have a Headmistress and so this was the easiest way." He told us.

"Do you guys have another, like person, in charge of the whole Institute?" I asked him.

"The CIA is in charge of the whole school." He told us willingly.

"Okay, so, why did you guys combine? Mom tried to find out, but it was too secured." Izzy told him.

"We wanted to have our schools know each other, so that once they took the field after school they all got to have known each other, so they can work together better." Solomon told us.

Izzy and I gave him a look, knowing there was a lot more to the story, but we didn't ask him anything.

"Why was your mom researching about the school? Why didn't she just, come to us and have us in your lives?" Solomon asked us.

"That's classified information." Izzy and I told him at the same time.

"Why is it classified? If your not fully trained Spies?" He questioned.

"First, we learned from professionals, mostly Mom and Uncle Hunter, and second, we have things we just can't share for our own reasons." Izzy told him.

Solomon nodded.

"So I just told you some classified information, but you can't tell me yours?" He asked us.

"Our information is life or death, your information is free to the whole school." I told him.

"That's fair enough," He told us, before giving us a look. "For now."

Izzy and I shared a look.

"You know, you two look almost identical to your mother," Solomon told us. "Well, other then your eyes."

"So we've been told." Izzy said, with a smirk.

Solomon smiled, before we stopped in-front of a door.

"This is your dorm," Solomon told us. "You guys don't have any Roommates, and you're uniforms aren't in your dorms. So if you could, please come down to the office tomorrow morning to get them."

"Thank you, Solomon." Izzy told him.

"Of course. Here's your keys," Solomon said, handing both Izzy and I our own keys. "Have a good night."

Solomon turned around and walked away.

I didn't know why, but I felt like the family would have a meeting now that he's talked to us, and got more information.

Izzy opened our door and we walked in to see a plain room with two bed's and there was another room that was our bathroom, it didn't have any cool things in it either.

Izzy sighed, and put our suitcases aside with our backpacks.

"That was too close." Izzy told me.

"Yeah, well, most of it was your fault."

"Really? It was my fault?!" She whisper yelled.

"Yes, because you were this close to us being compromised!" I told her truthfully, with my fingers barely touching.

Izzy scoffed while she rolled her eyes.

"Like you didn't have anything to do with that either!" She yelled back at me.

I sighed.

"Listen, I thought you should know that we have them on our tail, and they want to get to know us better, to get answers on Mom."

"Did they say that?" Izzy asked.

"No, but it was obvious." I told her.

"It's not too surprising." Izzy told me.

"No, it isn't," I said, shaking my head. "Quick question, why did you tell them that we're family?."

"I have an idea, and we can still do our mission even if they know we're their family." Izzy admitted.

"Okay, so what's the new plan?"

"Well, we have to go into a passageway and spy on our family. We have to see what they're going to plan to try and get our trust, and along with that, we need to find out what they think of us." Izzy whispered.

"Okay. What about Hunter? Do you think Hunter should be involved? Or what? What are you thinking?" I asked, folding my arms.

"Hunter should be involved, and we should go to the safe house tonight." Izzy said.

I sighed.

"So we're sneaking out tonight." I said.

"Yep, but before we do, we need to go into a passageway and see what our family thinks about us, so we can get an extra hand over them." Izzy said.

"You got it." I said, before we walked towards a hidden passageway.

After a while of walking through cobweb after cobweb we got to a place where we could see Grandma's office, but they couldn't see us.

Solomon walked into the office.

"Hey," Townsend said. "How'd it go?"

"It went well, the twins are in their dorm room right now." Solomon told them.

"Good." Abby said.

"What did they tell you?" Macey asked.

"They told me nothing, other then the fact that Cammie taught them everything they know." Solomon said, leaving Uncle Hunter out.

"Of course Cammie taught them," Dad said. "Cammie would do anything to keep them safe."

"That's very true." Liz said.

"Was there anything else?" Townsend asked.

"No." Solomon lied, shaking his head confidently.

Townsend rolled his eyes.

"What are you guys doing?" Solomon asked them.

"We need to figure out a good plan to get to know everything about Cammie, and we will need to get the twins trust in order to do that." Aunt Macey said.

"Okay, so, what's going to be the plan?" Townsend asked.

"Well, we could have Oliver start dating Izzy," Aunt Bex suggested. "Izzy seemed interested in him."

"Yeah, I'm sure that would work, with how she gawked over him." Leah said.

"Well, if what Tori said was true, and if Izzy is truly like Cammie, then she might be a little hard to crack. Sure, she found Oliver cute, but I'm sure it'll be a little harder then you all think." Grandma said.

"I don't know Rachel, she seemed pretty happy to talk to him." Macey commented.

"Yes, well she found him cute. But if she's like Cammie, which I already see similarities, then it's going to be a little bit harder." Grandma said.

"What do you think Zach?" Solomon asked.

"I think we might just let her open up in her own way. Cammie wouldn't like us to do this, just to get information on her? That's not how a family works. I'm sure the girls both have baggage too, with how they reacted to some things that we talked about. So, I feel like their going to continue to be mysteries until we genuinely show care to them, and then they'll open up." Dad finally commented.

"Then, what do you want to do?" Liz asked.

"Maybe I should just try to get to know them, and let us be their real family, just trust the process on us getting to know each other." Dad said.

"Sounds like a plan to me." Macey said.

"It sounds like we should just be a family, and that's all I want. It's not some kind of plan." Dad said.

"So, you just want to have open arms to them?" Townsend asked.

Dad scoffed.

"Of course, their my daughters, and they haven't done anything to me to want to make a plan so, I'm going to be the father that they finally deserve to have." Dad said, before standing up and starting to walk towards the door.

"You don't find any of it suspicious? Any of this, like why didn't the twins come earlier? Do you realize their almost 16 years old?" Townsend asked.

Dad tensed up as he stood at the door.

Not turning around to look at him, he finally spoke the truest thing that he had said that whole time.

"It was Cammie who planned everything, Cammie chose to leave, the twins didn't. When the twins were safe enough to come here, they did." Dad said.

"How do you figure that, Zach?" Abby asked, going to stand next to Townsend.

"Because if Cammie taught them anything, it would be to come out of hiding when it's the safest." Dad said, before opening the door and slamming it.

Townsend sighed before turning around to Oliver.

"Oliver, you have to do exactly as I tell you, become friends with Isabelle, and start dating her, through that process get her to long you, and get as much information about her as you can. Tell us everything she told you, that will help us to get to know the twins the most, you got it?" Townsend asked.

"Yes, but what about Zach?" Oliver asked.

"Don't involve him," Townsend said before standing up and turning to all three of the teenagers. "Don't tell Zach anything, or he's going to cut ties with us, and, don't tell the twins anything either."

"Yes, sir." Leah, Hazel, and Oliver said.

In the corner of my eye I saw Solomon fold his arms as Grandma came up to him and gave him a look to which Solomon raised an eyebrow to and throwing his arm around her shoulder before whispering something in her ear to which she nodded her head to.

Izzy turned to me with anger before she started to drag us away from their meeting.

"We're getting to the safe house immediately." Izzy said seriously, as we walked out of the passageway.

Izzy and I were standing in the doorway of our safe house.

Before we could nock on the door it was opened and we saw Uncle Hunter on the other side.

Hunter had his usual black t-shirt on with his khaki shorts. Hunter has his light brown hair messy and his blue eyes looked distorted. Hunter had tan skin, he was 6 foot 4 inches, and he was 36 years old. Hunter had a strong build to his structure.

Hunter sighed.

"Why are you two here?" Hunter asked.

"We need to tell you the new plan." Izzy said.

"Of course, we have to make a new plan." Hunter said, before he shook his head at us.

Hunter turned to me.

"Why didn't you stop her?" He asked me.

I glared at him.

"You know I can't control her, right?" I asked.

"Of course, but you should have stopped her." He told me.

I nodded.

"I know, but it would have been impossible, because we were already in-front of our family." I said.

Hunter nodded in understanding.

"Alright, come in." Hunter said, opening the door for us to finally step in.

The door closed behind us and Izzy looked around.

"So, how did you know we were here?" Izzy asked.

"You know I have lots of cameras, don't you?" Hunter asked.

"Of course, cameras are important in a spies life." Izzy said.

"Oh, I'm so glad you remember that." Hunter said to her.

"That was from your first lesson." Izzy said.

"That's true," Hunter said as we followed him into the kitchen. "So, what's the new plan?"

"We're going to get closer to our family, maybe learn more about mom. So that we might be able to find her." Izzy told him.

"Okay, so Tori, what do you think about this plan?" Hunter asked, as he went to make his own tea.

"I don't really know, they have a plan to get information from us too." I told him.

"Of course they do, this is your mother's family we're talking about." Hunter said.

"Fair point." I said.

Hunter nodded.

"Do you two want tea?" He asked.

"Sure." Izzy and I said at the same time.

Izzy and I shared a look before looking back at Hunter.

Hunter looked amused.

"Alright, so what is your family's plan?" Hunter asked.

"Well, funny you should ask." Izzy said laughing.

"What happened?" Hunter asked, with confusion etched on his face.

"Izzy kind of found Bex's son hot." I told him.

"Did she now?" Hunter asked, with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, and now their going to try to have him get with me for answers." Izzy told him.

Hunter scoffed.

"That's the wrong way," Hunter said. "What did your father say?"

"Oh, he got so pissed that he slammed the door on them." Izzy commented.

Hunter nodded.

"Sounds correct." Hunter said.

I nodded at him.

"Anyways, that's what's going on." We told him.

"Alright, I'm going to add some things for you guys to do, if your up for it." He said.

"Okay?" I asked.

"Make sure you two get close to your father, alright?" Hunter asked.

"Of course, Hunter." I said.

"Good," Hunter said nodding his head. "Izzy make sure to not talk to Bex's son. No matter how cute he is to you, you can't have him compromising this mission. This mission is very important." Hunter told her.

"I know, and besides, I have better things to do." She told him.

Hunter nodded.

"So, when are Owen, and Kelsie coming to the school?" I asked.

"They'll be here next week." Hunter said.

"Okay, good!" I said, excited.

Hunter gave me a look.

I blushed slightly.

"Okay, you two should get back to school." Hunter said.

"Yeah, we probably should." We both said.

"How did you guys get here?" He asked us.

"We took a bus that was close enough to here." I told him.

"Alright, I'm driving you back to school." Hunter told us.

Izzy and I shared a look.

"Don't worry though, I'll drop you off far enough so you guys don't get in trouble." Hunter said.

He looked at our expressions before laughing.

Hunter put our tea in two mugs before he grabbed his keys.

"Let's get you two back to school."
