I know this story has a bit of a fantasy element, and I hope you don't mind.

If this chapter seems a bit dramatic or scattered, I'm sorry.

I personally think it's good enough.

...

After Numbuh 2 had made the call, the three of them decided to stay by Numbuh 5's bedside while they waited.

"I hope they find out what's wrong so we can fix it." Numbuh 3 said, "I miss Numbuh 5."

"Maybe whatever it is will wear off." Numbuh 2 responded, "We'll just have to wait and see."

"Yeah," said Numbuh 4, then he added, "maybe we should go wait for the medical team outside so that they know we're still here."

"You guys go ahead," replied Numbuh 2, "I'll keep an eye on her."

"Okay. Come on, Kuki."

When Numbuh 2 was sure that Numbuhs 3 and 4 had left the room, he sighed and let a single tear roll down his cheek.

Then another.

Then another.

He continued to cry silent tears as he stared at her.

"I'm sorry, Abby. We never should have left you here alone."

The tearful moment was interrupted by the sound of footsteps.

Numbuh 2 whirled around.

He quietly called out, "Who's there?"

The footsteps got closer.

"Numbuh 3? Numbuh 4? Is that you?"

The door opened, and a sinister voice replied, "Oh, it's me alright."

Numbuh 2 gasped, "C-Cree? What are you doing here? How did you get in here?"

Cree chuckled, "Oh, I have my ways of working around the system. What about you? Why are you in here?"

Numbuh 2 bit his lip and winced, hanging his head.

"Oh, I see." Cree replied, smirking, "Does it have anything to do with my dear sweet little sist-"

"What did you do to her?"

Numbuh 2 was now glaring at the teen, a sudden burst of anger rising inside of him.

Cree rolled her eyes, "Isn't it obvious? I gave her a little sleeping potion that'll last a few years. By the time it wears off, Abby will be a teen, and then she'll have no choice but to become a Teen Ninja like me. All I have to do is take her down to our hideout, put her in a capsule that'll keep her alive during that time while she's in Dreamland, and soon we'll have a new recruit. She'll be on our side, and best of all, we won't have to fight each other anymore! Now, I know what you're thinking. You think that even when she becomes a teenager she won't want to betray you K. . Well, she will after I've managed to break her down and convince her that they don't want her anymore and the Teen Ninjas are the only option she has left. She won't think twice because of course she'll want to be on the same team with her big sister again. Who do you think she'd trust? You Babies Next Door who'll want to wipe her memory, or her sister who loves her and whom she misses dearly? Huh? Face it. You failed, kid. And now you'll never see your little girlfriend ever again!"

As Cree let out a maniacal laugh, the building anger within Numbuh 2 finally reached its peak.

"No," he growled, "you can't do that."

"Oh, really? And why not?"

"Because... I... I WON'T LET YOU!"

With that, Numbuh 2 pulled a S.P.I.C.E.R. out of his pocket and fired it at Cree, who ducked out of the way.

"Oh, come now. Must this all end in violence, Hoagie?"

"Not if you get the crud outta here!" Numbuh 4 chimed in.

He and Numbuh 3 had heard the commotion, and were now standing at the doorway with their weapons drawn.

"Oh give me a break!"

Numbuh 2 seized this chance and leapt into the air, jumping on Cree and tackling her to the floor while she was distracted.

As he pinned her down and pointed his weapon in her face, he started growling again.

"There's an antidote, right?! There's always an antidote for something like this! Where's the antidote, Cree?! TELL ME!"

For just a rare moment, Cree actually had an expression of panic on her face.

Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 stood there, shocked. They'd never seen their friend this angry before.

Cree's look of panic turned into a scowl.

"Do you really think that I'll just tell you where the antidote we created while testing the potion is? Do you honestly believe that I'll tell you where it's safely hidden in Father's mansion where you'll never find it?"

Numbuh 2 smirked, "Why, as a matter of fact, yes I do."

When Cree realized what just happened, it was her turn to get mad.

She shoved the boy off of her, sprang to her feet, and started shooting at him and the other kids, who kept dodging and firing back.

The fight was interrupted when she recieved a call on her wrist communicator.

"Cree! Urgent message! We need you back at the hideout! We're under attack! I repeat, we are under attack!"

Cree groaned, "I'll be right there!"

She then turned to the three operatives.

"This isn't over!"

Before they could stop her, she ran out the door and flew off.

...

Yeah, it might be a bit overdramatic, but don't flame please.
