"Take care of yourself. You too Pikachu," Professor Kukui said as he petted Pikachu's head.

Professor Burnet walked up to me with tears in her eyes.

"Don't forget to call us when you reached Kanto." Professor Burnet said as she wipes the tears from her eyes.

After a moment, she hugs me which was joined by Prof. Kukui.

I am gonna miss them. My eyes also become teary but I try not to cry.

The two of them let go of me and I smiled at them.

After this, I have to say goodbye to all of my friends.

"See you soon! Everyone!" I shouted.

"We will meet again!" All of them shouted with a smile.

"Flight to Kanto is boarding soon." The announcer said.

It was time for me to go home and leave Alola behind.

I am sitting on the plane and looking outside of the window.

Everyone waved their hands, as the Airport grew smaller and smaller, and eventually, I didn't see the Airport anymore.

"Goodbye, Alola," I whispered.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu nuzzled my cheeks.

Today my journey ends here. It was a great journey with you all. Thank you for everything.

Next day

Ash Ketchum finally returned home after becoming the Champion of Alola.

"I can't wait to see all my Pokemon again, it has been so long!" Ash shouted in excitement.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Race you, buddy!" Ash said as he started to run towards his house.

"I am home!" Ash announced as he entered his house.

"Piki pikaaaa!!" Pikachu shouted.

"Mr. Mime!" Mr. Mine shouted and Delia came running out of the kitchen.

"Ash, you are finally home!" Delia exclaimed and hug Ash tightly.

"I've missed you so much."

"I missed you too mom...b-but I-I can't breathe..." Ash managed to say.

Delia quickly released Ash, "I am sorry, I'm just so happy to see you again."

"It's nice to see you again, mom." Ash smiled.

"Anyway, dinner is almost ready. You go and take a shower then come down for dinner." Delia said with a warm smile.

"Okay." Ash quickly replied.

"Pikachu! I am happy to see you." Delia exclaimed as she petted Pikachu's head.

"Pika!"

"And one more thing, I invited Prof. Oak, Tracey, Gary to the dinner," Delia said.

"Gary also coming?" Ash asked.

"Yeah," Delia looks at Ash.

Ash nods his head and walked up to his room. To his surprise, the door to his room is already open.

Ash steps inside his room, he didn't

know that someone hiding behind the door. As someone shouted from behind.

"Congratulations!"

Ash jumps in fright and glance at the person who just scared him.

There standing a Cerulean City Gym Leader with a big smile on her face.

"Uh...Misty, you scared me." I complained.

"That's was my plan," Misty replied simply. "How's Pikachu?"

"Pika pipi"

Pikachu jumps on Misty's arms.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well that's was a weird question. Of course, she comes here to congratulate me." Ash thought.

"I come to congratulate you from Cerulean City and you asking me questions that what I am doing here." Misty hit his arm. "You meanie."

"Sorry...I was just surprised to see you."

Misty said nothing for a moment.

"You are really taking care of Pikachu and now you are the Champion." Misty smiled.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome," Misty said. "Alright! Pikachu! Ketchup is waiting."

Misty walked out of the room with Pikachu.

Ash took off his bag and gently put on the bed. He made his way over to his desk where he kept all the achievements he has win during his journey.

Ash placed his Alolan Champions Trophy on the top.

Ash only stares at the Trophy for a minute and a satisfying smile appears on his face.

After taking a shower Ash walked downstairs.

At Vaniville Town

She is sleeping peacefully on the soft bed in her room.

Her mom shouts from the kitchen.

"Serena! wake up!"

After 2 minutes

"That girl..." Her mom whispered.

"Fletchling can you wake her up," Grace ordered to little bird.

Fletching flies into Serena's room.

"Fletching!!" The little bird pecked on Serena's face

Serena POV

I am sleeping peacefully in my bed.

Suddenly, someone attacks my face.

"Aaaaah!!" I screamed.

"I have told you not to wake me up like that!!" I narrowed my eyes.

Fletching fly away and sat on the coffee table.

I jumped forward to grab her, but she flew away.

"Aaaa! Not again." I groaned and sat on my bed.

"Serena! breakfast is ready. Hurry up!" My mom shouts from downstairs.

I open the window to my room and the gold rays of the sunrise came into the room. Fletching flies into the air and chirping.

I walking into the washroom to take a bath.

After getting ready, I looked into the

mirror with my blue eyes.

I grabbed a Blue Ribbon in my hand, from the desk.

"I hope you remember me, as I remember you," I whispered while looking at the ribbon.

It's been 1 year. Yeah, full one year since we say goodbye in Kalos Region.

"Serena! Come down, if you don't want to be late for your flight!" Mom shouts again.

"Yeah, just 1 minute I am coming!"

I walked downstairs and arrived in the kitchen and see that mom already put the breakfast on the table.

"Good morning," I said as I sat on the chair.

"Good morning, Serena."

"Thanks." I started eating my breakfast as I remember the talk with mom yesterday.

"Ash is from Kanto, right?"

I nod my head.

"Then you will able to meet Ash again."

"I don't even know if Ash is in Kanto.

I am sure he is traveling to a different region."

"Serena your breakfast is getting cold." My mom interrupts my thought.

"Yeah," I replied and quickly finished my breakfast.

"So, you are ready?" Mom asked. "You pack everything, right?"

"Yeah, mom."

"Okay, take care." Mom smiled.

"Don't forget to call when you reached there."

"Yeah!" I shouted and step outside of the house.

"Congratulation Ash! You become the Champion of Alola!" Misty shouted.

"Thanks, mom, Misty, and everyone."

"Ashy-boy you are a champion now, so what's your next journey?" Gary asked suddenly it took me a moment to come up with an answer.

"I don't know," Ash replied.

"Why not you participate in Indigo Leauge again." Professor Oak said.

"Indigo League..."

"Yeah, that's a great idea, Grandpa."

"Are you saying you want me to compete in the Indigo League?" Ash asked.

"That will be a great experience for you." Professor Oak smiled. " Who knows, maybe you win this time."

"I will think about it," I replied.

"You have plenty of time to think. Let's enjoy dinner." Mom smiled.

After dinner

"Ash, here I want to give you this. It's a gift from Brock." Misty asked.

I looked up to see that Misty is holding an egg that is inside the container.

"Pokemon Egg!"

"Brock has been busy studied for becoming the Pokemon doctor so, he doesn't come," Misty said.

"Misty you can stay in the guest room." Mom said with a smile.

"Thanks, Ms. Ketchum." Misty smiled.

Everyone is asleep but I was awake in my room looking out of the window.

"Pikachu, I have been thinking about what Professor Oak said."

I have decided what my new journey is.

"Do I want to challenge Indigo League again?"

"Attention, passengers, this is your captain speaking. We will be arriving at Viridian City Airport shortly!"

"Braxien! we finally arrived at the Kanto Region!"

"Brex!"

"Attention, passengers, We are now beginning to prepare for landing at Airport. Thank you for choosing Latios Airlines."

I looked out of the window.

Approaching rapidly was Viridian City and with it the Kanto Region.

"Whoa! I can't wait!"

Braxien nodded her head in agreement.

I smiled, as I walk outside of the plane.

I am excited to meet Ash again. I have a feeling that Ash will be in Pallet Town but I am afraid that might not be true. Maybe he is traveling to a different region. Who knows?

I remember the time when we said goodbye in Kalos.

It's been 1 year since we said goodbye.

What happened if he forgets about me.

Nah, what was I thinking?

"If he forgets about me then I will tell Braxien to use Flamethrower on him!" I shouted.

"Braxien!"

"Did I say out loud?"

"Brax Braxien!"

"Let's go! Our next destination is Pallet Town!!"

As...the journey continues...

The end of Chapter 1.

Thanks for reading.
