Sup dudes! Hope you all enjoyed the holidays. I know I did. Anyway moving on! This one was from a close friend of mine.

Fanfiction Trauma

Chapter 32: Killer on the Loose (Part One)

"It's time for another round of spin the bottle." Rossi said.

Morgan quickly fetched for the bottle before anyone could grab it. "And like the rules state, since I read I'm the one who spin's it!"

"Knock yourself out Derek." JJ replied, though inwardly praying it didn't land on her.

"I wish I could." He replied truthfully before placing the bottle in the center. "Here goes nothing."

The bottle spun and spun until it began losing its momentum. Slowly it came to a full halt.

Hotch sighed. "I was hoping not to read."

"You know the drill boss," Morgan taunted as he led the Unit Chief to the chair, or 'Devil Chair' as Garcia had dubbed it.

"Praise the heavens for sparing me from this." Rossi murmured to himself.

"I still can't believe we spent majority of our entire day off reading horrible fanfiction stories." Will commented with crossed arms. "Thanks a lot Derek."

"Oh come on! I thought we were done with blaming me?" Morgan complained.

"We are, for now." JJ answered, shooting him an angry death glare. "I can't say what I'll do to you once this ordeal is over with though."

"We'll probably chop you into small pieces and hide your remains."Emily added. "Trust me, we'd know how."

Rossi smirked at Morgan's petrified expression. "Or we could throw your body in the woods for the wolves and coyotes to feast on."

A shiver ran up the man's spine before cowering behind Blake. "Not funny guys."

Blake chuckled in response. "Oh leave him alone already."

"Found one!" Hotch cut in, much to Morgan's relief.

Murder at the Rossi Mansion

"Oooh what do we have here?" Garcia chimed in, slightly curious. "Sounds interesting."

"It's probably some poorly written case story." Rossi replied. "Like the one we read earlier."

Morgan cringed. "Don't bring that up. That story was horrible."

By DerekMorgan

"I knew it!" JJ shouted, shooting Morgan an accusatory finger. "It was you all along! You created this to form some sort of sick prank!"

"It wasn't me JJ! In case you don't realize I'm trapped in this too!" He quickly said in defense.

"He's right," Hotch added. "The name was most likely created by a fan of his."

JJ blushed in embarrassment at her outburst. "Oh, heh, right."

Summary: This will be starring Ashley Seaver.

Seaver sighed. "You mean I have to be the center of attention twice in a row? Well, at the very least I won't get bashed in this one considering I'm the main character. Not that it matters much to me."

Ashley hasn't seen her friends in a while so she decides to set up a get together. Luckily for her she gets the perfect opportunity when her uncle Rossi lends her his mansion at Camp Diamond Lake for the week. What they don't know is that things are about to turn to the worst when a murder occurs and they realize there's a killer on the loose.

"A murder story at Dave's eh?" Kevin muttered before turning his attention to the group. "Since you're FBI and all I'm sure this thing will be solved in a cinch."

"Knowing these authors and their lazy tendencies I wouldn't be surprised if they just skip all the way to the part where we catch the guy." Emily exclaimed dryly.

"I'll bet my left foot that this thing is solved by us tracking the cellphone down." Rossi jokingly added.

"God they're so predictable sometimes!" Garcia laughed.

It's also AU so in this story the team isn't part of the FBI or anything related to law enforcement.

Blake raised an amused brow. "Well, that sure throws a wrench in our theory."

"Interesting," Reid murmured. "And I use that term here very loosely."

Ashley eyed the nice view from the porch. Here she was waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive. Eager to see her friends she had waited by the door for them. Who could blame her, she hadn't seen them since entering college. Therefore when Rossi gave her the green-light for her reunion plan that she was organizing she was ecstatic.

"Yo!"

In her musings she had not even realized another car had just shown up.

"Hi Will!"

"I'm the killer." Will immediately stated. "There, I just ruined the plot."

"Like we wouldn't have guessed," Morgan shot back with a laugh. "Besides, they usually never have plots."

He pulled her in for a hug. "Been a while, good to see you."

"Likewise." She replied before looking over his shoulder curiously. "Where's JJ Will?"

"Probably in my trunk." He scoffed causing the group to chuckle.

He sighed. "We broke up a year ago."

"Oh, I see." She murmured before eyeing him apologetically. "I didn't know. I sent her an invitation; I hope that's alright with you."

"That's okay. I can handle it. I'm a grown man after all." He finished with a grin.

"Well come in, the others are inside already."

The two headed inside where the others were waiting. Inside were Derek, Emily, Anderson, Jordan, and Kevin.

"I'm the killer." Kevin said.

"No you're not man, I am." Will replied. "I'm hated a lot more than you."

"I don't know about that. My character has been brutally shot so many times in these stories, not to mention insulted. If anything it'll probably have us working together."

At this Will paused to think. "But the story said, and I quote: 'What they don't know is that things are about to turn to the worst when a murder occurs and they realize there's a killer on the loose'. As in, just one killer."

"How's about we, oh I don't know, read and find out?" Morgan cut in sarcastically.

"Sorry!" The two responded sheepishly.

Almost instantly they began chatting up with Will about life after high school. The doorbell ringing caused Ashley to step away from the group. She was met with a sweet, familiar face.

"Spencer!"

"Aaah!"

"It's been a while Ashley." He said.

Just as they were talking another car approached. They watched as JJ stepped out of the car.

"Huh, thought for sure she'd be in my trunk."

"Hi guys, am I late?"

"Actually you're right on time." Ashley replied. "And now since we're all here we can start the party."

"Yahoo!" Garcia cheered causing the others to face her.

"What?" Kevin asked.

"Didn't you hear? Ashley— I mean, her character, just said that all the guests were there. I'm not one of them!"

"Neither am I." Hotch said with a relieved sigh.

"Or me." Blake added. "I can almost hear the hallelujah chorus."

As soon as they were inside JJ realized Will was there. She quickly turned away when she saw that he noticed she was staring.

"So where's your uncle?" Jordan asked quickly when she saw the tension stemming.

"He's out on a business trip so we got this place all to ourselves."

"Then let's party!" Derek said while popping the champagne.

The group of friends enjoyed a good time with one another despite the slight tension between JJ and Will. It wasn't until past midnight did they realize there was a strong storm going on.

"How cliché." Rossi grumbled.

"Ssshh!" Garcia replied. "I'm trying to hear. I want to see if Willy's the killer or not."

"Guys why don't you crash here for the night? There's loads of space for everyone." Ashley suggested.

Derek yawned and stretched his arms out. "Sounds like a plan. I'll be hitting the sack."

"Derek's so dying first." Emily said.

"If it means I'll be out of this crap then I'm cool with that."

The others went to their own respective rooms after a while. Ashley practically collapsed onto her bed. All that partying did a number on her. On the other hand though, it had been great seeing her friends. She could've done without the Will and JJ tension though.

A knock on the door caught her attention.

"I'm so dying first. You know I'm kind of hoping I am."

Rossi placed a hand to his chin. "But wait, aren't you the protagonist? Now it may have been a while since I've seen a scary movie but don't they always live in these scenarios? Especially since I'm almost positive the author is basing this on a scary movie."

"According to the rules she will; because this is the first installment of course." Kevin replied.

Hotch raised a brow. "There are rules?"

"Oh yeah," Emily chimed in from her spot. "I forgot there are rules in scary movies and since this is most likely copying a scary movie I'm sure they'll follow them. The rules are quite comedic if you ask me. For starters you can't drink or do any sort of drug."

"Guess that's why most ubsubs never live." Kevin joked.

"Also, you apparently can't have sex." She paused to chuckle at some of their expressions. "Told you it's comedic. And another one is that you can't say 'I'll be right back' because you'll never be back."

"So Emily, what you're saying is our characters are all dead, right?" Will asked. "Since apparently all of our characters drank alcohol already."

"You know there are some movies that don't follow those rules." Garcia answered. "Which brings us to the question of: is it just for slasher movies?"

"Hmm," Kevin pondered aloud. "Good theory. The Halloween series followed it; if you recall Jamie Lee Curtis' character didn't die until after several sequels."

Morgan frowned. "Can you guys have your nerd convention some other time?"

She opened the door. "Spencer?"

"Aaaah!"

"Sorry to bother you it's just... I got a bit thirsty and I figured I'd get lost in this big house."

Ashley sighed. "Follow me." She led him down the stairs and into the large kitchen. Soon the two were standing by the counter drinking some juice.

"Thanks."

"Sure thing."

He scratched his head nervously. "You know um... it's really good to see you."

"Oh? Really?"

"Yeah, I really missed you."

Hotch frowned slightly starting to put two and two together.

"Thanks, so did I. We haven't seen much since high school, not that I blame you. There's been so much going on for all of us, guess life just got in the way. That's why I organized this thing." She replied with a smile before noticing his distant look. "Hey, you okay? Is there something bothering you?"

"Well, er... yeah, sort of." He nodded sheepishly. "It's just um, ever since high school I... I had this, well I still have it, I- I have a crush on you."

"No I don't!" Reid shouted in embarrassment.

"Aww, isn't that cute!" Morgan teased.

Hotch sighed. He knew this was heading in this direction.

Seaver facepalmed. "This is why I was hoping my character bit the dust. Had my character done so then I wouldn't be in this stupid pairing story. And haven't we read a story with me and Reid already?"

"Why does this sort of crap always have to be included?" Emily groaned.

Rossi cringed. "At least this time it won't be Twilight."

She had to do a double take. "What?! Are you serious?"

In response he leaned forward and kissed her.

Just like before Reid shared an embarrassed glance with Seaver before stepping as far away from her, with her doing the same.

Before she could even process what had occurred a scream filled the room.

"What was that?" Ashley said before bolting upstairs towards the scream. She was met with Jordan huddled against the wall, appearing like she'd faint at any moment. Eventually the others began filling the hallway.

"Jordan? What happened?" Will asked, kneeling down to her side with concern.

Will scoffed. "My guy is smart, for an unsub I mean. Look at how he's acting all worried knowing full well he's just done someone in."

"So who's our first victim?" Blake asked a bit curiously.

She pointed towards the door across from her with a shaky hand. "L-Look."

Will made his way over to the door before poking his head in. Almost instantly did he feel his stomach drop and bile fill in his throat. "Oh God!"

Inside was Anderson lying dead on his bed with his intestines on full display.

Kevin paled, placing a hand to his stomach. "Oh come on! Some of us just ate you know."

"Quite gruesome." Blake said, referring to story. "Our unsub must certainly possess a great deal of rage."

"Fit too, if he can kill Anderson." Morgan added. "Though one could say that there's a chance the unsub snuck in and killed him."

"No profiling the story remember?" JJ reprimanded the two; receiving an apologetic look from both.

Will shrugged. "There's no need anyway since it's obvious it's me."

"What the fuck? What the fuck?" Derek shouted when he peered over Will's shoulder.

"I'm calling the cops!" Ashley cried out before dashing for the phone.

"Hold up!" Will replied, catching up to her. "I'm coming with you. There's no way you should be alone."

"Thanks." She said with a weak smile. It was all she could give him. Upon placing the phone to her ear she could swear her heart stopped. "It's dead. The lines are down."

"Wow, told ya my guy is smart."

JJ rolled her eyes. "There's no guarantee it's you Will."

"Trust me honey, it'll be me."

"We have to go and tell the others. Come on!" He took her hand and rushed upstairs.

"Well?!" Kevin shouted.

"The phone lines are down." He answered.

"Now what?" Emily asked with a panicked tone.

"So I'm assuming nobody owns a cellphone." Blake exclaimed. "Might have been nice to include that bit."

Garcia cringed. " No cellphones? God, that must be hell."

"Guess this story takes place during the stone age." Kevin joked.

"Fuck this I'm outta here!" Derek cut in and pushed his way downstairs.

Morgan narrowed his eyes. "Why do I get the feeling that I'm gonna be that stereotypical black guy, who always gets killed off I may add, that are so commonly seen in movies?"

Kevin and Jordan quickly followed him.

"Wait up!" JJ called only for it to fall on death ears. She couldn't help but turn towards Will.

He didn't seem to notice as he placed his hands on Ashley's shoulders. "Look they're right, we gotta get outta here and you can't stay here. Come on!" He didn't wait for an answer and led her to his car.

Will came to a halt when he noticed the group. "Why did you guys come back inside? We have to get out!"

"It's no use!" Emily replied. "The bridge has been cut off! There are trees all over what used to be the bridge. The storm must've knocked them down!"

"What did I say about my guy being smart? He's even using the environment against you folks."

JJ could practically feel the vein popping onto her forehead.

And that's when the lights suddenly shut off.

A-N: Haha cliffhanger sluts! I'm so bad. Anyway review.

"Not after you just called me a slut." Kevin grumbled.

"Must the readers commonly be insulted?" Blake asked with a raised brow. "If I recall correctly the one with you as children FBI called us whores at the end."

"Think we've also been called bitches in one." Emily added dryly.

"There's a second chapter." Hotch cut in abruptly.

"Huh?" Emily replied.

"There's a second chapter," he repeated. "Should I read it?"
