Fanfiction Trauma
Chapter 34: Hotch's Precious
"It was JJ right?" Blake asked once the children had returned to their sleeping.
"Don't remind me." JJ muttered.
"You were right." Garcia replied. "Our killer was JJ. Although the surprising bit was how nicely Kevin and Will were written out."
Blake raised a brow. "Seriously?"
"I was a total bad ass!" Will answered proudly. "You should've seen how my character protected everyone."
"And then I come and save the day by shooting the killer." Kevin added just as happily. "It was awesome!"
She took in their happy expressions. "Does this mean we've found the one?"
"Like hell!" Morgan snapped. "There's no way that crap deserves to be labeled as 'the one'! You know how cliché it was? For instance my crappy character was killed off like every black guy, we were all idiots, not to mention that several of us were OOC."
"Speak for yourself!" Will retorted. "I happen to have liked my character's portrayal."
"Of course you did," JJ said with a frown. "That doesn't mean we did."
"I'd like to throw in my two cents and say how I didn't find my character appealing in any way." Emily chimed in. "I just can't accept how stupidly I was killed. In case you didn't know I'm not exactly fond of irony."
"I'm sure my wall remembers." Reid said as he recalled the numerous head-bangs it had taken.
"What did you think of it Hotch?" Blake asked.
"I was grateful for my exclusion. Aside from that I was neutral."
"Likewise." Rossi joined.
"It wasn't too bad." Seaver exclaimed. "Though pairing me up with Will was really creepy."
"Looks like only Will and Kevin found this story appealing then." Blake deduced with a sigh. "I suppose it's back to the drawing board."
"The one has to be a story that appeals to all of us not just a select bunch." Emily stated. "Otherwise it'll never work."
"That means it's time for spin the bottle again." Rossi exclaimed and handed the bottle to Hotch. "Rules state that the reader spins, so here you go."
Hotch obliged and gave the bottle a spin.
"Oh come on!" Garcia immediately complained when the bottle stopped in her direction. "God I hate this."
Morgan laughed and led to the hated chair. "No excuses baby girl you know the drill!"
Will crossed his arms as Garcia searched. "You know we wouldn't be here anymore if you had just accepted that story as 'the one'."
"Why would I do that?" Morgan retorted. "There's no way I was accepting that junk as 'the one' and you know it."
"Neither was I," JJ added. "Seriously, me? The killer? That OOC was as clear as day."
"Haters." Kevin grumbled.
Garcia waved for the team. "Got one."
Complicated Obsession
By HotchManiaMadnessGalorePorn
Hotch wanted to facepalm but of course he'd never resort to such theatrics.
Morgan released a chuckle. "Haha oh man these names get more and more hilarious."
Summary: There's trouble brewing in the team. A problem has arisen and little do they it's a lot closer to home than expected. It will center a lot on Spencer.
"Aaahh!"
How will Hotch control his feelings for him? Can he or will he let his emotions get the better of him and do something he could regret?
Emily sighed. "Pardon my French but, for fuck's sake, I hate these romance stories. Especially when they're so horribly written."
"Or the fact that it's completely ridiculous," Reid added with a frown. "Where in the world do these authors find it okay to pair me up with whomever they please?"
"You?" Morgan shot back incredulously. "It's all of us so don't go singling yourself out pretty boy."
"I have it a lot worse than you when it comes to that aspect though."
"Hmm... point taken."
The team had just finished up a case and were currently still in LA. Their jet wouldn't be leaving till morning so that meant they had to return to their hotel. As usual it was a cheap one.
JJ scoffed. "At least that's one thing the authors always seem to nail."
They all nodded in agreement.
"I'm glad we were able to get out of that police station!" Derek complained. "And I'm so glad that freaking case is over and done with."
"I agree on that one." Rossi said happily.
"It was such a pain in the ass!" JJ whined in annoyance.
"Damn, can you guys be any more inconsiderate?" Will said with crossed arms.
"Our characters," Morgan corrected.
"Oh right! That's what I meant."
"Let's all be glad it's over and that the..." Hotch suddenly paused. "And the... say, what was the family's name again?"
"Absolutely pathetic," Hotch growled, referring to the story.
"Does it matter?" Emily replied. "We're free!"
"Yeah. Let's go and relax now." Spencer—
"Aaaah!"
said. "Who's in?"
Derek placed an arm around him not taking notice of Hotch's frown. "That's a great idea kid! Let's head to the bars for some drinks."
"Go ahead I'm too drained." JJ replied. "I think I'll head back to the hotel."
"Yeah, sorry but I'm poofed." Garcia added. Being one of those rare cases where she had to join the team she was quite exhausted.
"See ya later then." Emily replied as the two headed home to end their day with sleep.
"Yes!" JJ cheered before giving a high five to Garcia. "So that's us out this useless story."
"Best day of my life." Garcia whispered to the sky, as if thanking the angels themselves.
The bar was pretty crowded much to Hotch's disliking. He wasn't exactly fond of an overly crowded bar but there was no way he'd leave the young agent alone here.
Reid frowned. "I can take care of myself."
"Look at all the babes," Derek began with a grin. "I can't tell who I want to take home today."
"You sound like an absolute douche." Seaver said.
Morgan crossed his arms, frowning at his portrayal. "I agree. My characterization is way off."
Rossi chuckled and sipped his drink. "Oh I'm sure you'll find out soon enough."
Next to him Hotch couldn't stop staring at the bar waitress in annoyance. She was currently eyeing the young genius. This was about the fifth time she'd done it. She was eyeing him like a hungry lion eyeing a piece of meat.
"A gazelle would've made for a better sentence." Kevin added randomly.
"Buddy you should totally make a move," Derek suggested, nudging the younger agent.
"Oh uh, you think?" He replied.
"She's certainly interested." Emily added from her stool.
"I wouldn't." Hotch said, attempting to maintain his composure.
Derek shot him a glare. "Why not? Don't you want him to get laid?"
Hotch narrowed his eyes. "Don't make him pick up your habits. What would he gain by sleeping with a whore?"
"How would you even know she's a whore anyway?" Will asked with a raised brow. "Not every waitress is one. That's just stereotyping at its finest."
The team glanced at him in surprise.
Rossi raised a brow. "You seem touchy."
"You're imagining things." He replied before focusing his attention on his untouched fries.
"I'm going to find a lucky lady to dance with," Derek said as he placed his empty drink on the counter. "See ya!"
Rossi turned to Emily. "Let's go join him."
"Alrighty! Hey Reid—
"Aaaah!"
you want to join us?"
Before he could reply Hotch pulled him against his chest protectively and growled into his ear. "Mine."
Hotch felt absolutely mortified as the room exploded with laughter.
"I'm sorry Hotch," Seaver apologized, wiping a tear. "It's just the mental image was too much."
"It's fine." He muttered through gritted teeth.
The young agent shifted uncomfortably. "I think I'll pass."
"Your loss kiddo." Rossi said before making his way towards the dance floor.
"So what was that about?"
Hotch gazed into his eyes. "I don't want anyone near you. Understand?"
At this he frowned. "Who do you think you are? I don't need you controlling my life! I'm capable of making my own decisions just fine." He stood up. "Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go and shake my moneymaker."
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Reid sighed at the laughter he'd anticipated. He could feel Hotch's supportive hand on his shoulder and he was pretty grateful for it.
Hotch watched angrily as he strutted away. Of their own accord his eyes landed on his rear.
"The Lord have mercy," Will exclaimed while shaking his head. "When I write my own fanfiction story I'll make sure to not make you guys OOC."
JJ sighed. "So you really are serious about that? I thought it was just a phase you were going through."
"Nope. Don't worry hun, you'll love my story."
Those legs of his were keeping him fixated. The way his body moved as he walked was intoxicating. Goodness the boy is going to be the death of him. His right eye twitched uncontrollably—
"That is definitely not normal." Blake pointed out.
at the sight of a blond woman leaning herself onto him.
His body was fuming as this blond bimbo was grinding up on him. Of course he was doing it on purpose. Hotch knew that the boy wasn't as innocent as he claimed. No matter how he hid it there was no denying it. Those lustful gazes Hotch would send him during the office he'd return when no one but them noticed. The damn tease. He HAD to have him.
Wasting no more time he stood upwards, almost dropping his stool in the process. He slammed his glass against the counter and made his way to the dance floor.
"Excuse me! Can I help you?" The woman snapped.
Hotch pried Spencer—
"Aaaah!"
off her grabby hands and held his grip on his waist. "I'm sorry but he isn't interested."
"Says who?" She retorted.
"Says me." He said and lifted his jacket to reveal his gun.
Garcia paused her reading. "Boss man you are like mega psycho in this story."
"No kidding." JJ added. "Just when I thought I couldn't be surprised anymore they go and take OOC to a whole new level."
The woman bolted away leaving them alone. Hotch took a hold of his arm and dragged him out to the alley. He slammed against the wall. "Look you're mine! No one else is allowed to touch you!" Giving him no warning he slammed his mouth against Spencer's.
"Aaaah!"
Who returned the kiss full force, moaning as their bodies pressed against one another.
"Don't fool yourself. Your body knows who its owner is. You belong to me and only me. No one else can make you feel like this and you know it."
He blushed and nodded.
"Now let's head back to the hotel and into my room. I'll show you why I'm the boss."
"This plot is just so appalling." Rossi exclaimed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "If these are our aspiring writers than I pray for the book lovers."
"More like humanity," Seaver cut in dryly.
Okay y'all that's all for the first chapter. Stay tuned cause' next one will have some smexiness going on! ;)
"What in the heavens is 'smexiness'?" Blake pondered momentarily. "The lingo kids nowadays seem so ridiculous."
"I'm just glad it's over." Will added.
Kevin nodded. "Bro, I think that's something we can all agree on!"
"So I guess it's my turn to spin the bottle then," Garcia exclaimed as she beckoned the bottle. "Now let's move it and get this over with!"
