I don't own RWBY obviously.
"Can you believe it? We have a full-blown studio courtesy of the company. We even got an even larger budget to work with!" The Director and his assistant Lillia roamed the halls of the new studio excitedly except for Lillia.
"May I ask how did it come to this, Mr. Director?" Summer caught up with the bumbling Director as Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Qrow, Taiyang, Willow, and the Director's crew admired the huge studio from the inside.
"Well, the Red Trailer did so well. Currently has 15 million views on DustTube, and counting mind you, in just a week and its currently the hot news all over RemNet. Your daughter is a star!" the Director proudly said as the group approached two huge steel doors that lead to the main room where the magic happens. Qrow whistled at the sight.
The Director pushed both doors, revealing the huge set the cast would play on but still be doing outside, authentic action when needed. The Director eyed his new playground from left to right he saw a lounging area where the crew and the cast can rest, speaking of the cast they were already occupying it with everyone talking to one another, or messing around, he gazed the next set from left to right, a gigantic green screen arena, multiple sets for different scenarios such as an interrogation room among others, a giant robot knight with the prop team tinkering on it and a concert stage just for Weiss t-
Wait a fucking second…
The Director made sure his eyes were working by putting on contact lenses, applying eye drops, rubbing his eyes, and putting on glasses all in that order.
"What in the two Brother Gods is that thing?" The Director glared daggers on the Knight and the prop team, already feeling his blood boil that it can rival molten magma. He charged head-on into the face of the Lead Prop Designer, with his hands quivering, begging to strangle something until it dies.
"Charles! What in the hell is this thing?" the Director threw his hands up begging for an explanation before he decides to commit murder within his new studio.
"Oh, uh, Director good to see ya. This is an Arma Gigas Sir. I thought would be cool to have for the series." Charles fumbled around as he met eye to eye with the Director. He was completely oblivious to the fact that the Director was about to kill him via asphyxiation.
"How did you even get this thing inside the studio?" the Director crossed his arms demanding an explanation before he tears Charles a new one.
"We crashed it."
"I'm sorry. You, WHAT?!"
"We crashed it into the studio." Charles pointed out behind him. The Director looked passed Charles to see a Truck with its front end busted, rope laying all around the ground, and besides that is a massive hole in the wall with shattered pieces of concrete everywhere signifying the prop team didn't really go gentle of forcing breach into the new studio. The hole then leads to the alleyways beyond the studio. Now feeling the onset of an aneurysm, the Director asked one last question.
"How. Did. You. Get. This. Thing?" the Director put emphasis on every word but Charles was still completely oblivious to the fact the Director looks like he was about to commit genocide.
"Would you believe if we built this thing?" Charles scratched his cheek.
"If you and your crew built this thing then clearly, you're on the wrong job." the Director pointed out.
"Well funny story actually on how we got this…"
Earlier that day…
"We got it, boys and girls! Let's bail! Suck it you Atlesians! Ya bunch of sellouts!" Charles signaled as he and his crew finished tying up the new Arma Gigas prototype on the back of the truck.
Atlesian soldiers tried to seize the prototype and the crew but they were too late as the truck's engine blared to life and drove away.
"Wooooohoooooo!" Charles shouted on top of the truck as it drove into the horizon and that was the last thing the soldiers ever heard.
Back to the present...
"and that's how we got this baby." Charles proudly patting the stolen robotic Gigas.
"You're telling me, you stole THAT!?" the Director trying to comprehend what the prop team was doing. 'And I thought the grave was fucking stupid. This is a whole new level of stupidity.' The Director thought still trying to wrap his head around it.
"Not really stealing it, more like borrowing it from the Atlesian military." Charles scratched his right cheek.
The Director's jaw hung open at the statement. He was only paying attention to the details on how he got his hands on this thing, his brain clearly omitted everything else. 'Did he just say the Atlesian Milit-' and just like that the Director fainted.
"Huh, well what do you know. The Director is so proud of me he fainted out of kindness to show how good an employee I am to him." Charles now got around and tinkered on the prototype once more, completely oblivious about the consequences of stealing an Atlesian prototype or the fact that his boss isn't breathing.
Lillia dropped down to one knee and checked for her boss's pulse.
"Uh… is he okay?" Qrow checked up on the two with his left hand stored into his pocket and now drinking from his flask.
"If by 'okay' you mean he doesn't have a pulse anymore yeah, I think so, I worked with him for way too long that this doesn't even come close to what he's capable of. I just need to do CPR." Lillia set herself up to do CPR on her own boss.
"They messed up that badly? Qrow asked as Lillia was now doing chest compressions.
"Yeah, this a good gauge on how much the prop team fucked up. The worst part, they're completely oblivious to it.
Take One
"Mirro-oop" Weiss caught a rose. She looked through the non-existent crowd only to see her mother giving her a standing ovation with the cast looking at her weirdly.
"Mom!" Weiss blushed from embarrassment from her mother's antics.
"Oh, sorry my little snowflake, Mom just got a little too excited," Willow spoke proudly of her daughter.
"Uhhh… Cut!" The Director now cradling his head from the massive headache that Charles ensued earlier. He is also wearing an ice bag as a hat courtesy of Lillia.
…
Take Two
"Mirror, tell me something…"
"Something!"
Weiss, the cast, the crew, and the Director looked at the source of the sound. The sound came from none other than the blonde brawler herself standing amongst the cast. Don't worry the crowd will be edited in post-production.
"What she said 'tell me something' so I said 'something!'" Yang explained.
Everyone groaned except for one
The Director was about to warn Taiyang about her daughter when he saw the two of them high-five each other.
Ruby facepalmed at her Half-sister's antics. The adoptive white-cloaked mother just mouthed 'I'm so sorry for them' towards the Director.
The Director sighed "Like Father, Like Daughter… I guess."
…
Take Three
"Introducing Weiss Schnee."
Weiss enters the stage with a running start and slides across the stage on her knees.
"Woah! We're halfway there, Wo-"
"Cut!" The Director shouted. The cast and some of the crew were laughing amongst each other.
"Way to cut my fun, Director." Weiss scowled at the Director.
"Maybe I don't want to get copyrighted. This early on the show!" the Director scolded.
"I had to do it at least once." Weiss stood back up and dusted herself off.
"At least sing the official soundtrack, goddammit Weiss." The Director huffed.
Take One
"Wait I'm fighting that thing?" Weiss stared at the Arma Gigas in front of her which is three times taller than her.
"Yes and please I beg you destroy this thing." The Director pleaded 'I don't wanna get labeled a goddamn terrorist by association! Fucking Charles.' Director thought to himself, now nursing his head as he glared daggers at the prop team who were completely oblivious to the fact they manage to steal an Atlesian prototype and may have been labeled as international criminals and by that sense, this entire crew and the cast are criminals by association even Willow didn't seem to bat an eye on it, granted she only works alongside Jacques and doesn't engage on the more private meetings with the military but still all of us here are gonna get labeled as wanted criminals.
"We're just gonna get rid of the evidence before the Atlesian military gets wind of this." The Director massaged his temples, his headache pounding even harder as if his brain wanted to get out of this madness.
"Just take your place, Weiss." The Director ordered with a hint of disappointment leaking through his voice. "Rid me of this nightmare." He pleaded.
Meanwhile, Charles approached the two half-sisters.
"Hey you two, wanna control the Arma Gigas? I have errands to run." Charles held up a game controller that is currently hooked to the prototype.
"Oh can I?! CAN I?!" Ruby already trying to pry off the controller off of Charles.
"Hey! Big sis always gets the first privilege on cool things." Yang quipped as she tried to pry off Ruby off Charles.
"Since when did that became a rule?" Ruby held on to Charles even harder as she tried to reach the controller.
"Uhhhh… Since now." Yang tried to pull Ruby harder off of Charles as she simultaneously tried to reach for the controller.
Charles then threw the controller to the two sisters and left them to their antics. Ruby and Yang fought over it like two dogs over a bone.
Unknowingly to the two sisters, the Arma Gigas was now aggressively chasing Weiss and is swinging its sword wildly, thrashing the place. The Director ran up to the prop team and asked where the controller was. When they pointed to where Charles went and almost blew another blood vessel at the thought of the name but kept himself collected and went to the two sisters who were fighting for the controller.
"ITS MINE!" Ruby bit Yang's forearm trying to fight over the controller.
"NO, ITS MINE I'M OLDER THAN YOU." Yang pushed Ruby off with her strength but Ruby kept using her semblance to close the gap to it.
"How bout you two stop fighting for that controller before I charge an arm, a leg, and a kidney for the amount of damage you two are causing." The Director, with his arms crossed, now standing over the two sisters who looked at him confused.
"Damage?" Yang jokingly questioned "What damaaaage..." she trailed off as the Director stepped to the sides to let Yang and her sister gaze upon the carnage they have wrought, from destroyed lights to torn up green screens. Yang and Ruby slowly looked at the Director and slowly forcing their smiles, the Director's right eye twitching uncontrollably.
"You're lucky we have insurance for this or the threat of me ripping out your organs just so we can pay for the damage would have come true."
…
Take Two
Putting the Arma Gigas on autopilot. Weiss was dealing with it flawlessly. Dodging attacks, Dashing in and out. However, she was forced to block an attack from it knocking her away but manage to land on her feet. Weiss used a haste glyph to speed herself up, she dodged an attack on the way making it look like she phased through it but she just kept going…
*KLANG*
She hit one of the drones capturing the moment, luckily for her, it didn't break upon impact.
"Ow."
"Good thing we reinforced those things so it can tank human projectiles." The Director proudly stated. "Thanks for testing it out Weiss!"
"Medic..." Weiss groaned.
…
Take Three
Weiss once again fought the Arma Gigas. Now learning from her mistake from earlier she used her haste glyph to speed herself up and used another glyph to halt her movement. She then used her semblance and used it as a horizontal platform to launch herself on the Arma Gigas and slashed it multiple times on the way in. She then used her semblances once more to create a vertical platform. She jumped to dodge the incoming slash from the Arma Gigas only to get hit mid-air by a jab from it.
"Weiss!" Willow shouted as her motherly instincts kicked in to protect her daughter only for Lillia to grab her by the shoulder and reassure her that everything will be fine.
"She already has that scar, to begin with. So we'll just add in blood during post-production." The Director reminded himself.
Weiss stood back up more determined than ever. Weiss chambered in Fire Dust into Myrtenaster. The Arma Gigas charged and winded up a strike. Weiss countered it with a fire dust-imbued riposte of her own.
The bystanders panicked and became wide-eyed at Weiss but they were not impressed at the counter but Ruby pointed it out soon.
"Weiss! Your skirt is on fire!"
"Wait, what?!" Weiss looked to the bottom left of herself where she felt actual heat and She went wide-eyed as there is a blaze eating through her skirt. Weiss dropped Myrtenaster and started to drop and roll to get rid of the flame.
Ruby then appeared in a cloud of rose petals carrying a fire extinguisher. Ruby then doused Weiss, using the fire extinguisher all over her.
"Qrow's fault… probably." The Director watched Ruby continually spray down Weiss with the fire extinguisher making her even paler than ever.
"Hey!" Qrow shouted from the lounge area.
…
Take Four
Weiss countered the Arma Gigas slash with a fire dust-imbued riposte knocking it away from her. Weiss then chambered in Ice dust and locked the Arma Gigas feet with it.
The icicles however kept going straight into one of the cameramen. Luckily the cameraman got away from the line of fire but dropped his camera, destroying it in the process.
"Cut! Weiss that's coming out your paycheck." Director bluntly stated.
"Drat!"
…
Take Five
Locking up the Arma Gigas successfully in ice-dust summoned icicles. Weiss charged at the Arma Gigas that is halfway through a slash coming right at her. Weiss then chambered lightning, imbuing her rapier attacks. Weiss landed a decisive blow on the Arma Gigas, disarming it.
Weiss then planted a Glyph beneath her and baited the Arma Gigas into it. Weiss then rolled away from the Arma Gigas and activated the glyph and launched it up in the air.
It didn't go where she wanted…
*CRASH*
It destroyed 2 drones, it hit one mid-flight and landed on top of one.
"oooooh… that's not good." Weiss winced at the destruction she caused.
"Okay, it can handle human projectiles but not armored behemoths. Remind me later Lillia to invest in some upgrades later." Lillia nodded and wrote it down on her clipboard. Weiss tried to sneak out of the Director's sight but he caught her by the collar of her dress with the use of a crook that he suddenly have.
"Also, don't try and sneak out on me, that's coming out your paycheck Weiss." The Director dragging Weiss on the floor all the way back to his seat with Lillia following behind.
"Can we compromise for the payment of the damage?" Weiss negotiated with him.
"Yes," Weiss' eyes sparkled with hope "we have the ability to compromise, Weiss. You should have restructured your sentence to 'May' and before you even ask again with the correct word, I'm going to decline that. I'm the one who is paying you Weiss not the producers and certainly not the prop team." The last couple of words were filled venom and Weiss got scared by a bit as she thought it was all directed to her.
"That's a no?" Weiss squeaked the last part of her sentence.
"Yep." He popped the 'p'.
…
Take Nine
Weiss once again launched the Arma Gigas into the air and miscalculated again.
"Hey, guys! I got back with some snacks." Ruby skipped through the set with snacks on her hands. Happily minding her own business.
"Ruby! Look out!" Weiss shouted as she tried to save Ruby only for a white-cloaked to go pass her way faster than her and caught Ruby…
And the Gigas, crushing them both under it. Everyone winced at the sight and got on the action.
Taiyang, Qrow, Yang, and the prop team tried to help out the two stuck underneath the Armored behemoth, all of them trying to lift it up to get the two cloaked individuals out of there as they thrashed wildly under the weight of the Gigas.
"Does your studio cover medical insurance, Director?" Weiss reluctantly asked.
"No, but your paycheck does."
…
Take Thirteen
Weiss launched her Glyphs upon the airborne Arma Gigas locking up the limbs of it.
However, a stray glyph manages to miss and somehow hit Qrow on the face as he was about to drink only for his mouth to not open and spilled his drink all over his face burning his eyes.
He stumbled upon the set blind until he came upon the bathroom. After a few minutes, the air in the studio somehow smelt burnt.
Qrow then came rushing out of the bathroom somehow on fire. Everyone screamed at him as Ruby used her semblance to get the fire extinguisher once again.
Ruby came to the rescue and sprayed her Uncle with the fire extinguisher.
The Director just watched the whole thing, baffled on how something bad became worse. Then he remembered.
"Oh yeah, that's just his semblance working."
…
Take Sixteen
Weiss finally gets the Arma Gigas locked in mid-air with her glyphs. Weiss then launched herself, twirled, and chambered another dust vial into Myrtenaster. She then launched herself towards the Arma Gigas with the help of her semblance and pierced through the Arma Gigas disintegrating in into nothing.
She landed gracefully and inspected Myrtenaster or the handle of it as it snapped when she pierced through the Atlesian prototype.…
"Cut! And That's a wrap!
Weiss didn't care and fainted out of exhaustion. Willow ran over to Weiss and carried her over to the medbay inside the studio. The Director caught up with Willow after she dropped her daughter off the medbay. "We'll pay for the costs of her weapon. It's the least we could do." The Director offered. Willow accepted it and told him to update her on how her daughter's trailer will go.
Next Day…
An Atlesian soldier knocked on the front door of a townhouse. "Coming just wait a second." The door opened and revealed the Director in his casual attire but still wearing his favorite silver scarf.
"Wait you're not the pizza delivery guy." The Director now realizing it was an Atlesian soldier. He wanted to shut the front door but that would mean he would be guilty of the thing Charles did. "Goddammit Charles. Who hurt you?" The Director thought to himself.
"Sir, have you seen this machine? A ragtag of hooligans stole it." The soldier showed a picture Charles and his godforsaken prop team on ski-masks hauling the stolen Arma Gigas.
"Hooligans. I could think of better words to describe them. Morons, Imbeciles, and a whole slur of words that I would not use because I still have morals." The Director thought to himself and felt his blood pressure rise at the thought of them. He could sell them out now. "Charles and I go way back though.." The Director reminisce the days where Charles actually provided what he need on time all the way back since middle school. Director smiled at the memories "He may be an idiot but he does what he does best." and said…
"Nope not seen them."
