It's been four since he came back, and he could not believe how much his son has grown. While he can't wait for him to start Hogwarts, he wished that Harry could stay with him a little longer. James Potter sat at the table drinking his coffee when Harry came down with his school trunk. Sirius was behind him. "Are you guys ready to go?" James said finishing his cup. Sirius and Harry nodded. However, James saw the worry in his son's eyes. He didn't blame him. Harry was starting something new and meeting wizards that weren't his family.
"Yes," Harry said quietly. James knew that last night was the full moon and he was grateful that Harry was being quiet even though Remus is a heavy sleeper. Sirius smiled and walked to the door. Harry followed him dragging his trunk behind him. James smiled and looked at the owl in her cage.
"Right then let's go," James said opening the door. Sirius and Harry followed James out of the door laughing.
They arrived at King's cross, and James could see the excitement and nerves in his son's eyes. James laughed as they all walked to the wall in between platforms nine and ten when he saw Molly Weasley and five of her kids. "He's not Fred I am,"
"You call us our mother,"
"Sorry George," James smiled at Sirius as they walked up to Molly. "Oh, hello James, Sirius," said added looking at her son who ran through the wall. Harry watched confused. James ruffled his son's hair.
"Are you ready Harry? We just run through the wall here," Sirius said with a small smile to Molly. Harry nodded slowly.
"We will do it together," James said holding onto his son's trolly. Harry took a deep breath. The next thing he knew was that everything was black.
After a few seconds, Harry's green eyes grew wide at the sight of the red train in front of him. James and Sirius laughed at his look. "Come on. Let's get your stuff on the train," James said trying to keep his voice steady. Sirius sighed at this knowing that he had to talk with James about this. Harry walked onto the train and waved goodbye to Sirius and James leaving them both on the platform with the other parents and guardians to walk away from the train.
"He will be okay James," Sirius said as they both left the platform. James nodded wondering how his son's first year would go.
