The story below is based on the characters from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. I own nothing of the show. This is purely fictitious and written for the enjoyment of my readers and myself. All rights go to the proper parties.

This chapter is a bit short, but no worries, the next chapter will be posted very soon. I plan to have it posted in a few hours or sooner. We are approaching the end. I don't want to do the final battle with Shadowmoth or any of that. It doesn't really fit with the storyline so far and will only force me to stretch this out. They're not ready for that final confrontation just yet. Once this story is done, I have plans for two other possible fanfics. Follow me if you would like to see some of my future stuff! Thank you for following this story!!

Cat Noir's eyes widen, his breathing stops and his mouth drops open. "Y-you're L-ladybug?" Cat Noir asks, completely shocked. "You're Ladybug!" He calls, eyes filling with tears at the sheer excitement. "Oh my God. You're Ladybug." He says once again.

Marinette chuckles, "you've said that, three times now."

Cat Noir continues, "it makes so much sense. Your 'secret mission' during Evillustrator was you using the akumas crush on you to your advantage. And I even tried to show off for you." Cat Noir claims.

Marinette smiles, "You really were a flirty Kitty. It was kind of cute to see you interact with me as a civilian." Marinette chuckles as she tickles his chin.

Cat Noir smiles, "what about Kwamibuster? You must have used an illusion then too. But why did you purposefully reveal yourself?" He asks.

"You don't remember, Kitty? You looked like you were close to figuring me out. I had to do something to throw you off my trail." Marinette says.

"You're right. I was getting close. The gears were turning and I was suspecting you, but when I saw you detransform, I convinced myself that it was only wishful thinking. I wanted you to be Ladybug, so my mind was making connections that weren't actually there." Cat Noir admits.

Marinette blushes, "you wanted me, plain old Marinette, to be Ladybug?" She asks softly.

"There's nothing plain about you, Marinette. Ignoring all your feats as Ladybug, you have a far from simple life. You've helped take down akumas as a civilian, you've won fashion contests for Gabriel Agreste, you stand up to Chloé Bourgeois on a near daily basis, something that even your principle can't do, you designed Jagged Stone's famous glasses and one of his album covers, you created Kitty Section's costumes, which were so good that XY tried to steal the look, and you do amazing things everyday by just trying to help your friends." Cat Noir rants. "You could never be called 'plain'. You're amazing Marinette, how could I not want you to be the girl I love?" He places a hand on her cheek.

Marinette's cheeks heat up, her blush matching her Ladybug suit, her heart swelling from Cat Noir's confession. He's happy she's Ladybug. He wanted her to be Ladybug.

Cat Noir sighs sadly, he removes his hand from her cheek and looks away, "Luka must be the other boy, right?" He asks.

Marinette looks at him, confused at the sudden change in Cat Noir's demeanor. She watches him deflate as she understands his question, "o-oh." She rubs her hands together, "actually, he's not. One of the reasons we broke up is because I'm still in love with the other boy." Marinette says solemnly.

"C-can I know who he is?" Cat Noir asks, "now that I know your identity, it wouldn't hurt, right?"

Marinette fidgets, she feels nervous talking to him about this, but she promised herself that she wouldn't keep anymore secrets from him. She prepares herself to speak, "are you sure you want to know?" He nods. "O-okay. The boy I've been in love with is Adrien Agreste." She finally says.

Cat Noir gasps, his heart beating rapidly, and his face growing redder by the minute. Marinette, his Lady, has been in love with him, and he had no clue. Her stuttering and babbling has been because of her crush. He's ecstatic, he has always felt like him and Ladybug were made for each other, and he always felt an unexplainable connection with Marinette. They've been dancing around each other from the moment they became heroes.

"How long?" Cat Noir asks, "how long have you been in love with him?"

Marinette looks wistful, "since he gave me his umbrella. The same day we beat Stoneheart." Marinette sighs, "but things have been hard recently. My breakup with Luka showed me that I can't be Ladybug, the guardian, and be a good girlfriend. Plus, Adrien is in love with someone else. I thought it was Kagami, but now I'm not so sure." Marinette pauses a moment before looking at Cat Noir, "I've also been struggling with my own feelings."

Cat Noir rubs his neck, avoiding Marinette's gaze, he's blushing. Embarrassed by his obliviousness towards Marinette's feelings and unsure how he could tell Marinette that she's the girl he has been in love with. That his own feelings have been struggling to make sense. How the same umbrella that made her love him has caused him to see her, as Marinette, in a new light.

Marinette smiles softly, "A certain alley cat I know has been clawing his way into my heart too." Marinette's eyes meet Cat Noir's and her heart skips a beat. He's looking at her with so much love and adoration.

Cat Noir's heart is soaring. Marinette loves him, not just as perfect Adrien, but as Cat Noir too. His entire world is falling into place. All that he needs to do now is reveal himself to her. Oh, and defeat Shadowmoth at some point. But right now, Marinette is all that matters.

Cat Noir swallows the lump in his throat. He grabs Marinette and pulls her into a tight embrace. He takes a deep breath in before asking, "can I reveal myself to you, Marinette?"

Marinette gasps, her body goes rigid in his arms, her breathing shallows, but after a few moments she relaxes into his embrace once again. "I would love to know who you are." She breathes, "please show me."

Cat Noir breathes carefully before he speaks, "claws in."

A green light envelopes him, his hold on Marinette tightens as his transformation falls. Plagg flies away to find Tikki, and Adrien holds his breath waiting to pull away and see her reaction.

Marinette's eyes remain closed as she feels the boy in her arms change from her leather clad kitty into an unknown boy. She breathes in his familiar scent and slowly moves back. Her eyes remain closed as she fully removes herself from him and feels his gloveless hands grab hers.

"Open your eyes, Princess. I promise you'll like what you see," Adrien smirks. "Please look at me," he begs.

Marinette takes a deep breath, she steel her nerves, and finally opens her eyes.

She gasps, "A-Adrien?"

"In the flesh," he says with his signature smirk. A familiar smirk that looks so unfamiliar on his unmasked face.

Marinette flushes, "oh my god. I just admitted that I was in love with Adrien. To Adrien!" She yells.

Adrien's smile grows wider, "yes you did, and I couldn't be happier, Marinette."

Marinette's eyes grow wide as Adrien moves his hand to her face. His fingers bare and warm against her cheek. She's speechless as he says, "no more secrets between us, right Marinette? We can be completely honest with each other now." He pauses, "and I honestly want to kiss you." He says as his eyes trail from her eyes to her lips.

Marinette squeaks leaning in with Adrien for a kiss before she stops. She puts a hand on his chest to stop him from coming close and looks down. "There's a few more things I haven't told you." Marinette admits.

Adrien looks at her curiously, searching her eyes for clues to what she has yet to tell him. He leans back and grabs her hand in his once again. "What is it, Bugaboo?" He asks.

Marinette breathes slowly, ice blue eyes and a white suit haunt her vision. She opens her mouth to speak but a choked sob comes out instead. Tears fill her eyes and her throat tightens.

"Marinette?" Adrien asks, startled, "are you alright?"

Marinette breathes deeply. She closes her eyes and tries to look past the icy blue eyes that haunt her. Cat Noir is here, Adrien is here, and he's rubbing soothing circles on her hand. Cat Blanc can't happen. It won't happen.

Marinette takes a shaky breath and says, "I need to tell you about Cat Blanc."
