Lorelai was pacing back and forth in a back office of a police station the room had nothing much in it. A couple empty boxes and a desk. She had looked inside the desk, and it was empty. This was the same police station she had come to for help when she was sixteen. She wasn't sure how she ended up here. Waiting. Waiting for her team to show up and dig her out of trouble.

Actually, she could remember exactly how she ended up here. She got a call from a friend, and she saw black and didn't know what else to do. She had been working with the team at the FBI for six months at this point and she knew this wasn't going to end well.

It had all started less than 48 hours before

She was at her desk when she got the call to her cell phone. She answered it. "Agent Davies." She said.

"Lorelai! Thank God. Its Rebecca. I am so fucked I don't know what to do. I need your help!"

Lorelai's eyes bulged out of her head as she got up from her desk and walked away quickly. "Rebecca slow down what's wrong?"

"I ran away… again. I cant get caught and go back. I don't know what to do. I know they are looking for me I saw the cop car." Rebecca sobbed.

Lorelai swallowed. She knew what would happen if Rebecca was found. Actually, she didn't really know for sure no one came back after running away a second time.

"You need to get across state lines. That's the only way I can help you. You need to get across the state line than FBI can get involved." She told her friend.

"Lor I am so far from any state line! I will never get there without help. I don't have anyone else. Please." Rebecca begged.

Lorelai took a deep breathe. "Get to the spot and hide. I will get there as soon as I can. Turn off your phone. I will find you without it. You don't want them tracking you." She added before hanging up and taking another deep breathe and going to Hotch's office and knocking.

"Enter." Hotch called out and Lorelai went in. "I need a couple days off. Immediately." She told him.

Hotch looked up at her. "Okay. Everything okay?" He asked her he could see all over her face that something was wrong. Seriously wrong.

"A friend needs help. I need to help her." She told him. She knew she was leaving out a lot, but she knew if he knew that he would step in and that wouldn't help right now.

Hotch looked at her raised eyebrow "Anything I can do to help?" He asked.

Lorelai fidgeted a bit "No. Thanks but no."

Hotch knew something wasn't being said. He knew she was lying but he had to let her make her choices. He nodded "Okay. Take the time you need."

"Thank you, Sir." She said as she was leaving.

"But. Call if you change your mind about the help." He added.

Lorelai nodded knowing if she spoke, she would break.

She quickly bought a plane ticket and flew to Idaho and took a taxi to the small town she swore she would never come back to. She didn't have a choice her friend needed her. She had the cab take her to the spot she told Rebecca to wait. She told the taxi to wait, and she went into the old, abandoned church.

"Rebecca? Where are you. Its me." She hoped she was still there. It had been almost eight hours. Rebecca came out from hiding. She was all beaten and blue. "Oh my god. Are you okay?" Lorelai asked.

Rebecca shook her head. "I need out of here."

Lorelai nodded. "Okay, lets go." She said leading her out towards the car.

They got into the taxi, and she told the driver to start driving towards the closest state line handing him a pile of money ahead of time she knew there was no way anyone would drive that far without some serious money. The driver did what she asked and drove the four hours to Washington State. She thanked the driver and gave him a hefty tip. She had spent her entire savings on this 'trip'.

Lorelai took her straight to the police station. "Rebecca, you tell them everything. Tell them you want the FBI." That's when she felt a whole group of police holding guns on her. And she recognized one of them. The police chief from the small town. Rebecca tried to run but was grabbed.

"No way. Neither of you are going anywhere except back to Idaho." The chief told them.

Lorelai spoke up. "I'm an FBI agent I outrank every single one of you. Let her go. Now."

She was laughed at. "Right. Eighteen-year-old Lorelai Davies is an FBI agent." Said the chief.

"I'm actually nineteen but I have my badge and ID if you don't believe me." She said.

An officer reached into her pocket and pulled out her. "Uh Sir. She's got an FBI badge."

"Its obviously fake." The chief said.

Lorelai shook her head. "I demand a lawyer and we are across stateliness the FBI will be on their way as soon as I call them."

Both she and Rebecca were thrown in the back of a cop car and driven back to the small-town Idaho.

Rebecca looked terrified. Lorelai looked pissed and looked at Rebecca. "You tell them you are not going back there. I will get you help you stay at the station no matter how hard you have to fight. You protect yourself. Punch a cop if you have to, to be thrown in a jail cell. I will call my boss and he will come and help." Lorelai told her quietly.

When they got to the station her and Rebecca were separated, and Lorelai was given her phone call. She took a breathe before she called Hotch.

Hotch answered "Agent Hotchner."

"Hotch. It's Lorelai…" Was all she said

"Where are you?" He knew something was wrong just by the tone of voice and the fact that she called him Hotch. Up till now he had been Agent Hotchner or Sir she hadn't yet called him Hotch

"Small town Idaho…police station" she told him her voice shaky

"Okay. What's the chiefs name?" He asked

She told him. "We crossed state line FBI has jurisdiction."

Hotch's anger was getting more and more. He hung up called the chief and informed him that she in fact did work for the FBI and that he and team were on the way, and they were not to speak to her till they got there.

Hotch called the team and told them they needed to be at the Jet in one hour Lorelai was in trouble and needed there help.

Lorelai was put in a back office and told she would sit there and wait till her superior got there and that he would make sure she wouldn't have a job when she left.

Lorelai was pissed who the hell did he think he was. Did he forget who she was. But after a couple hours it started to sink in. She had lied. Big time. She had a feeling she was about to figure out just how serious Hotch was about her being a member of this family. Something she had been avoided for along time. She also knew Spencer would be unimpressed with her too. He and her had gotten close in the last five months she was confident in saying that he was her boyfriend, and she hadn't told him anything about leaving. She knew he would have pressed her for more information, and she couldn't lie to him. Either way she knew that neither man would be happy with the choices she had made that ended up with her in this office.
