The case was a pretty run of the mill murder case. A man killing all the women who had wronged him in his eyes. It didn't take them long to find the man and get everything thing done. The were there only two days and they had everything done paperwork and all. This killer was not very intelligent, he had left traces and evidence that made it easy to find him and prove it was him even if he hadn't broken down and confessed after taking one look at Agent Morgan. Lorelai thought Hotch was intimidating, and he was but so was Morgan.

They were back on the plane before long debriefing and going over paperwork so that it could be filed when they got back to Virginia. It had been an easy case for Lorelai. She was at the police station the whole time. To be honest it was a little boring. Yes, she enjoyed the mental part of cases. The profiling, the analytical parts of the case she had really grown to love the field work and she was going to miss it.

Once everything was discussed. Everyone started to do their own thing. Lorelai went and got a coffee from the back of the plane. Reid noticed and went over. "Hey. How was your first case out of the field?" He asked her.

Lorelai shrugged. "I'm glad I can still help some way and continue to be an Agent to some capacity."

Reid nodded. "I remember you telling me that you were considering getting your master's degree in criminology. Maybe its something you could consider now. Take time off from the FBI. Knowing how smart you are you could probably get it done in the two years and when your eighteen come back to the FBI with an even better understanding?" He suggested

Lorelai shook her head. "No. I mean yes I want my masters, but I can do it online while continuing to work. I will just have to adjust to the new role. It was my original role before Hotch trusted me in the field."

"You know its not lack of trust now. Right?" Reid asked

Lorelai nodded. "I know." Spencer squeezed her shoulder a bit before grabbing his coffee and heading back to the seats. Lorelai smiled a bit grabbed her drink and went and sat back down as well. She pulled out her phone and started to look up how to get her masters online. She was already thinking about it, Spencer just made her remember that she could do it.

JJ came and sat next to her. "Hey, Emily, Penelope and I were planning on getting a bite to eat, a girls evening. Would you like to come?" She was asked

Lorelai smiled. "Sure."

JJ looked at her. "Great. Do you need to ask? I don't know what your deal is?"

Lorelai thought. "Well. Technically he said I don't need to ask to do thing. Ill let him know what's going on though."

JJ nodded. "I know this is weird. You will adjust. I will let the others know your coming they are excited to get to know you better." She went back to her seat.

When they landed, she told Hotch what she was going to be doing. Hotch just told her to have fun and stay out of trouble.

The girls all met up with Penelope at a local restaurant where they sat down and got some food.

Emily looked at Lorelai "So what do you like to do for fun? It's been over six months, but I feel like I don't really know you all that well."

Lorelai shrugged. "I guess I have a hard time getting close to people. But anyways I've spent most of my life in school learning never having much time for anything outside of that and since graduating been working. When I do have a few minutes to spare I spend it drawing." She admitted

"That's pretty cool." Garcia told her. "Anything you show people?"

"Nope. Its just for myself." Lorelai told her

The ladies all nodded.

The rest of the night was a lot of fun. Joking and talking about anything besides work. When they got out of there it was close to midnight. Lorelai was slowly getting more and more comfortable with her new…family

Hotch was waiting up. He hadn't given her a time to be home. He didn't know if that was fair. He knew she was safe with the girls but he still worried. Why? He knew she wasn't the type to get into any real trouble. He thought about texting or calling her. Would that be fair. He didn't want to take away her independence. He sat with his head in his hands when he heard a knock on the door. He went and opened it realizing he hadn't given Lorelai a key.

"I will need to get you a key." He said as she came inside. Lorelai nodded. "That would probably be a good idea." She said as she kicked off her shoes.

"You had a good evening?" He asked

Lorelai nodded "Yup. I'm glad I went. I haven't had much of a chance to get to know the team outside of work. The girls are all really nice." She told him

Hotch nodded. "Maybe we can arrange for more nights like this. With the whole team."

Lorelai smiled. "Is that something you would normally do?"

"Well. I mean. Things can change. We should know each other well. It can help us do our jobs as a team better." He pointed out.

Lorelai nodded. "Okay. Well. I'm going to get ready for bed." She went off to take a shower and get ready to go to bed.

Hotch decided that he would talk to her more in the morning.
