At the station Lorelai noticed that most of the team seemed to be out. Reid was the only other one there. "Hey." She said

Reid looked up "Morning. Sleep well?" He asked

Lorelai nodded. "Yes. You?"

"As well as can be expected." He said

"What am I supposed to do?" she asked

Reid handed her a file. "We are trying to build profiles on the type of people who sex traffic children." He said

Lorelai sat and started to look through the file for information that could help. "Where is everyone else?" She asked

"Crime scene and hospital." He told her

Lorelai nodded. She did what she was supposed to as the day went on.

After a few more days there all the children's parents showed up to take their children home. Hotch decided that there was nothing else they could do. This would end up being an open case for awhile till more evidence was found. He knew there was nothing else they could do at the moment. The bodies of the children that were murdered also had been returned to the families after autopsies. Hotch knew it was time to head home. They were at a dead end, and he knew they wouldn't get any further right now. They had other cases that were coming in and the children in the case were found and were safe.

Hotch told the team to pack up and to be at the jet in an hour that they were done there for now. They all did just that.

On the flight everyone was quiet. Hotch informed everyone that they were all ordered to therapy with the FBI therapist. He told Lorelai to make an appointment with her own therapist because he knew she was better off with her own right now. Lorelai emailed her therapist about an appointment since her next booked one was a few weeks away still and figured she should go sooner.

Reid tried to say he didn't need to see the therapist that he was fine but the look he got from Hotch told him otherwise.

Lorelai fell asleep and was awoken when they landed.

When they got home. Hotch spoke to the sitter and Lorelai went and crashed on her bed. She wasn't yet asleep when she heard a small knock on her door. "Yes?" She said

Rachel came in, "Can I hide in here?" She asked

Lorelai raised an eyebrow "Hide from what?"

"Dad…" She said

"What did you do?" Lorelai asked her younger sister.

"Got in a fight at school." She said

Lorelai made a face. "Ouch. Why? What happened?"

"She said I was a nobody. That nobody wanted me because I'm a foster kid." Rachel told her looking down. "So I um. Pushed her."

"You know that's not true right?" Lorelai told her

Rachel shrugged.

"Dad is adopting you. I went and got you out of a bad place when I wasn't supposed to. You are wanted. You are loved. Don't let -anyone make you think otherwise. Understand?" Lorelai told her

Rachel nodded.

"And you cant let what other people say bother you. You are better than that. I know you are." Lorelai added.

Rachel nodded again. "I know. I regret it but its not going to change what dad's going to do…" She said

"Well. Yes. If you weren't sorry it would be far worse." She said. "Yes you messed up. Go to dad. Tell him your sorry. Accept the lecture and consequences. Than don't do it again." She said remembering a similar conversation she had with Spencer not that long ago with her being in a similar situation as Rachel.

There was a knock on her door. Lorelai looked at Rachel and gave her a sympathetic smile before she said come in.

Aaron came in. "Here you are." He said looking at Rachel.

Rachel looked up at him. "I'm sorry I did it I wont do it again."

Aaron nodded. "Go to your room please." He said

Rachel got up and went.

Lorelai looked up at her dad. "Don't be to hard on her." She said

"Have I ever been to hard on you?" He asked

"No." Lorelai admitted.

"Why would I be with her?" He asked

"She's just so little." Lorelai said

Aaron chuckled "That's exactly what I thought when I first saw you walk into my office."

"Gee. Thanks." Lorelai said

"The point is I'm not going to be any harder on her than I would you." He said

Lorelai nodded "I'm sorry. I know. I just feel… protective over her. I know this is not the same situation, but I use to jump in front of kids when they were about to be…hit and Rachel was one of them. I know your not going to abuse her. I just don't know how to turn it off."

Aaron nodded and sat with her "I understand that. I promise you two are safe here. I know its hard to move on when for so long you dealt with the abuse but you two will never be abused in this home and I will do everything to ensure you are both safe outside of this home." He said. "Maybe this is something you should bring up with your therapist?" He suggested

Lorelai sighed and nodded. "My heart knows that's true my head cant seem to move on quite yet." She agreed to bring it up on therapy.

"Did Rachel tell you why she did it?" He asked

Lorelai nodded. "I cant say I would have reacted very differently if I was her…" She admitted

"Well than you would be the one in trouble. I will give her a chance to tell me why though." He said before getting up and going to his younger daughter's bedroom.

Lorelai laid in bed forcing herself to stay in her room. Part of her wanted so bad to keep it from happening to her little sister but she knew whatever their dad decided was the right thing to do.

A little later she was called for dinner, and she went out to see chicken wings. Which was Rachel's favorite dinner. She looked at Rachel who seemed happier when she had come in to talk to her, so she figured she was okay.

They had dinner and Lorelai cleaned up while Rachel went back to her room. She finished cleaning up and went to check on her sister and was told she had been grounded for a week. Lorelai nodded. "That's not so bad."

Rachel nodded. "He said it was my warning. Not to do it again."

Lorelai nodded. "He is a man of his word though. Don't do it again." She told her little sister before giving her a hug and leaving her alone.

Lorelai went back to the kitchen and made her tea before sitting in the living room.

Aaron sat down with her as well. "We didn't have a chance to discuss things about work and Morgan."

Lorelai nodded. "I wont do it again." She said

Aaron nodded. "See to it you don't." He warned her

Lorelai knew that was a warning that if she did it again she would be answering not just to Morgan but also to him. She finished her tea than headed off to bed.
