Lorelai was at the office late one night. She was looking at the files on the open sex trafficking case they had been working on. They whole team used some of their free time to look into it to see if anything could be found that they missed before. No one else from the team was there it was very quiet almost eerie but there were other agents in the building, so she figured she had nothing to worry about.

She was there for awhile till she heard a noise and she looked up to see another agent walking towards her. "Hello." She didn't know exactly who he was, but she had seen him around.

"Hello Agent Davies." He said

Lorelai smiled. "I'm sorry I cant say I know your name."

"Agent Goodwin." He said

"Goodwin. I will remember that. Is there something I can do for you?" She asked

The Agent smirked causing the hairs on her arm to raise. "Why yes you can." He said

"How can I help you Agent Goodwin?" She asked

"By getting a coffee with me sometime soon." He said

Lorelai tilted her head. "A coffee?" She asked feeling more and more uncomfortable.

"Yes." He said. "A date." He said

Lorelai started to play with her ear as she did when she was nervous and uncomfortable. "I don't think that would be a good idea." She said

"And why is that?" He asked looking a little annoyed

"The FBI has rules." She said hoping that would be enough

"Well didn't you go out with Agent Reid before?" He said

Lorelai sighed. "Yes. And there is a reason we are not anymore." She said, which was true.

"Well maybe that reason wouldn't apply to us." He said

Lorelai shook her head. "Yes, it would. And even if it wasn't I am not interested." She decided it was time to blunt. She tried to be polite but clearly, he wasn't getting the message.

"Come on. I will show you a good time." He said

"No. Agent Goodwin. The answer is no." She said firmly. "I think its time for you to leave me alone." She said. She was really uncomfortable now. Obviously keeping her age and her adoption, a secret was working. She felt very confident in there was no way anyone would be stupid enough to be acting like this towards Agent Hotchner's sixteen-year-old daughter. She was glad that no one knew but at this moment she wished this Agent knew.

The agent was angry, but he left. Lorelai quickly closed out what she was doing and headed out. She was not going to be in this building late like this without the team again. She quickly went to her car and went home. She didn't know if she should tell her dad what happened. She was able to make him leave so maybe he would just leave her alone from now on. She decided she wouldn't tell him. She didn't need him becoming more over-protective than he already was.

The next day she went into work like normal Hotch had left the house earlier than normal and without Lorelai which didn't happen often. She wondered if there was a new case, he came in early to look over but she hadn't gotten a text about it so she thought it must be another reason. She sat at her desk putting her badge and wallet in her desk drawer and signed in on her computer. She was there about ten minutes when she heard one of the doors upstairs open, she looked up and saw Agent Goodwin coming out of Hotch's office. Lorelai's heart dropped. Had Hotch found out what happened? How? She wondered. No one else was there when it happened. He walked by her desk and smirked at her before walking away.

"Agent Davies. Can I speak with you?" Hotch called out to her from upstairs.

Lorelai nodded and got up and went upstairs and into his office. "Is there a problem?" She asked

Hotch closed the door. "You tell me." He said

"Does this have anything to do with Agent Goodwin?" she asked

Hotch raised an eyebrow. "You tell me." He repeated

"I don't know how you found out, but I handled it." She said

"You handled what?" He asked

Lorelai looked confused. "Okay. What do you think happened?" She asked

"Agent Davies. I want you to tell me what happened. Because I need to understand. From you." He was clearly not getting less annoyed with each statement

Lorelai sighed and sat down. "Last night when I was here late working the trafficking case. Agent Goodwin came up to my desk. I didn't even know his name, but he knew mine. After introductions he asked me to go get coffee sometime. I tried to politely let him down, but he wasn't getting the message clearly my age and adoption hasn't gotten out to the other agents. After a couple attempts, I told him point blank no I wasn't interested and told him to leave me alone. He was angry but he left. I took that opportunity to leave. I didn't tell you because I figured he got the point and was going to forget about it." She told him

Hotch looked at her. "That's not what he told me."

"What did he tell you?" She asked

"He told me that you had requested his assistance for something on your computer. He is a computer analyst." Hotch told her

"Why would I ask him? I would ask Garcia if there was a problem." She told him

"He said it was something you shouldn't have been doing and you asked him not to tell me and he didn't feel comfortable doing it and you got angry, and he left." Hotch said

"I see." She said

"Also said you were rather disrespectful" Hotch said

"Oh." She said. She was upset now she looked down.

"I don't believe him." Hotch said

Lorelai looked up at him. "You don't?"

"No. Of course not. I didn't know what to believe when he came in. Which is why I wanted to hear your side before I decided what I was going to do. I do not believe you would ever make something like that up. Why didn't you tell me last night?" He asked

"I didn't think it was necessary. And you were in bed when I got home and left this morning before I got up." She said

Hotch raised an eyebrow.

Lorelai sighed. "and I didn't want you to overreact..."

"Overreact? He asked

"When it comes to your kids…you tend to be…. overprotective." She said

"You chose not to tell me that another agent was inappropriate because you didn't want me to be overprotective?" He said

Lorelai nodded a bit.

"Do you realize how bad this could have gone if he went to the director? How it would have looked?

She nodded. "Yes Sir. I'm sorry."

"You lied by omission. Again." He said

"Yes. I guess I did." She said softly

Hotch picked up his phone and called the director. "Director. Its Agent Hotchner. Are you available for a meeting in my office. Something important to discuss." He said

The Director agreed and soon was in Agent Hotchner's office.

Hotch told the Director there was a situation that occurred last night between Agent Davies and Agent Goodwin.

The Director looked at Lorelai. She sighed and she told him everything. Including what Agent Goodwin told Hotch had happened.

The Director nodded. "Are you alright?" He asked

Lorelai nodded. "I'm okay. I was uncomfortable last night but I'm okay now."

"I will speak with Agent Goodwin. This will not happen again." He told her

"Thank you, Director." She said

"Of course. If there is ever another problem like this, you can come to me yourself." He said

Lorelai nodded. "I will keep that in mind Sir."

The Director got up and left the office.

Hotch looked at Lorelai. "Get back to your desk." He said

Lorelai nodded and went quickly. She didn't know how she managed to not be in trouble for not telling him, but she wasn't going to question it. She went back to her desk and sat. She just stared at her computer screen. The rest of the team looked up at her. None of them missed the Director going up to Hotch's office while she was in there. She put her head in her hands.

The other Agents all looked at each other. What happened to involve the Director they wondered.

Agent Prentiss got up and went over to her desk. "Everything okay?" She asked

Lorelai shook her head. "No. But I don't want to talk about it." She said

Emily nodded. "I am here if you change your mind." She went and sat back down.

A few hours later Agent Goodwin came into the squad room angry and stormed over to Lorelai's desk. "You trying to get me fired?!" He asked her angrily.

The rest of the team looked up.

"Nope." Lorelai said. "I think you will do that on your own." She said

"What is, that suppose to mean?" He asked getting louder getting the attention of other people on the floor.

Lorelai took a breathe and stood up to give herself the strength to defend herself. "I am not the one who went to Agent Hotchner with some made up story about a computer problem. I was going to let it go and not say anything. When you tried to get me in trouble as some half assed attempt to cover your own ass you made it, so I didn't have a choice. -This situation is all on you."

Hotch and Rossi heard the confrontation from their offices and they both came quickly. Lorelai heard them coming. She looked at Agent Morgan. "Agent Morgan. Please stop Hotch before he does something he is going to regret." She said

Morgan got up and went over to Hotch. "What ever the situation I think she can handle it." He told Hotch.

The rest of the team were also on their feet at this point ready to jump in if necessary.

Lorelai looked back at the agent in front of her. "Unless you want me to tell the entire floor what exactly you did. I suggest you walk away. Now." She said a bit quieter

Agent Goodwin narrowed his eyes. "Don't you fucking threaten me." He said loudly

Lorelai took a breathe. "No. You do -not get to come into my space at night when I am alone asking me out and when I try to be polite you ignore it. I told you I was not interested and asked you to leave. Its not my problem that you don't have the balls to accept when a women tells you no. You are the one who went to Agent Hotchner. I had no intention of telling him anything. -You brought this on yourself. Get the hell away from me and stay the hell away from me." She said loudly

He didn't move. Rossi stepped in between Lorelai and the other Agent to defuse the situation before Hotch was able to get past Morgan. He could tell from the look in Hotch's eyes that if he got to this other agent it would not end well.

"Agent Davies asked you to leave. You better leave before you have to deal with Agent Hotchner." He told him.

The Agent turned and left. Lorelai sat back down. Rossi turned to her and bent down to her level. "Are you okay?" He asked

Lorelai nodded.

"Are you sure?"

She nodded again.

"If he bothers you again you let me know." Rossi told her

She nodded. "Yes Sir." She said.

He stood back up and went over to Hotch "Killing him will not benefit anyone." He told him softly.

Hotch calmed down and went over to Lorelai. "You going to be okay to work today?"

"Yes Sir. Not a problem." She said.

Hotch nodded and went back to his office. Rossi noticed some other agents on the floor still watching. "I suggest you all get back to your jobs and stop staring at this situation."

Everyone got back to work. Lorelai looked up at the rest of her team for the first time. Spencer was the only one still looking at her. Lorelai smiled a bit and Spencer smiled back softly showing his support.

The team got back to work eventually being called out to a case which thrilled Lorelai as she still felt like she was being looked at by other Agents.
