Disclaimer: I only own Kat and Ophelia.
"So, you're living here now."
Jumping, Foxy looked up to see Bonnie leaning against the door frame. "Uh, yeah." He stuttered. "I told Kat my lease was up and needed a place to stay. She checked with you guys obviously." He was aware that he was starting to ramble. "I mean, I've known her and Ophelia about a year and the only reason we never met before was because I work a lot." He chuckled. "Had to afford an apartment and all."
"Right," Bonnie nodded. "She's a nice girl." He was watching the redhead very closely, as if waiting for some sort of reaction. "Cutie, you call her."
"Jealousy is never a good look." Foxy stood up and patted the purple hair man on the shoulder. "Listen, I don't like her like that, she's a good friend and a good lab partner and that's it. The cutie thing, I give nicknames only to people I like."
Bonnie's face didn't even change. He wasn't sure how long Kat and Foxy knew each other but it was weird to him that the latter felt comfortable enough to give the former a nickname.
Foxy gestured for the purple hair man to come in. "How long have you known her and Ophelia?"
Bonnie stayed in the doorway. "I was in 6th grade and she was in 5th grade."
"And how long have you liked Kat?"
Bonnie thought carefully. "I realized it about three years later." A smile crept upon his face. "Guess you could say childhood sweethearts."
"Are you two together?" Foxy inquired curiously. "She talks about you all sometimes, but she's never mentioned dating anyone."
Bonnie sighed in frustration. "I'm not up for this conversation."
Foxy was curious but decided to wait. Perhaps Kat would tell him… if she wasn't still mad at him that is.

Chica practically jumped on Kat when the latter came out of the bathroom, nearly startling her.
"What?" Kat asked in worry, her green eyes darting around the hallway. "Is something wrong?"
"Come with me." The blonde grabbed her and dragged her into her room.
"Do I have a choice?" The redhead stumbled a bit before catching her balance.
The blonde led the way to her room before closing the door behind her. She sat down on her bed, pulling her friend down with her.
"Why didn't you say Foxy is a boy?" Chica hissed. "We normally tell each other everything!"
"You didn't ask," Kat retorted. She started picking at her nails, something she did when she was nervous. "Why?"
Chica exhaled. "The last thing I want to do is be around boys." She saw the redhead open her mouth to reply. "Besides Freddy and Bonnie."
"I'm sorry."
The blonde wrapped an arm around the redhead. "I'm sorry too."
"He's not bothering you, is he?" Kat inquired. Foxy was flirtatious but he was a good guy, at least to her.
"Well, no."
The redhead stood up and said, "If that's all you need—"
"Wait," Chica grabbed her friend's hand, catching her by siurprise. "How are you feeling?"
The redhead blinked in surprise. "Me? I'm fine."
Chica looked her friend in the eyes, searching for any doubt. When she found none, she let go of Kat's hand. "You know you can talk to any of us," she told her gently.
Kat laughed. "I'm fine." She moved towards the door. "Just fine."

"Do you think everything will be fine?" Ophelia questioned.
Startled, Freddy looked up from his business textbook to look at the blonde sitting across the dining room table. "What do you mean?"
"Bonnie doesn't seem to like Foxy much."
"He doesn't like any guy that seems to be close with your sister," Freddy pointed out.
Ophelia flapped her hand halfheartedly. "Is it the "cutie" thing? He doesn't mean that in that way, it's just something he does when he likes someone."
"Oh really?" Freddy raised an eyebrow. "Does he have one for you?"
"Blondie." Ophelia rolled her brown eyes. "Original, right?"
The brunet laughed, only stopping when he saw the unamused look he was getting. "I'm sorry," he coughed.
"You know, you never gave me a nickname when we dated," the blonde teased. She and Freddy had tried dating in high school but ultimately decided they were better as friends.
She giggled and patted the brunet on the hand. "It's okay though, at least we're still friends." She looked down at her notebook. "Bonnie will get over it eventually."
"You think so?" Freddy asked.
"Eventually." The blonde affirmed.
"For our sake, I hope so."
Ophelia shook her head and said, "You worry too much."
"How come you guys never mentioned Foxy before?" The brunet was curious.
Ophelia shrugged. "Don't know, Kat's a private person and Foxy never seemed to come up." She giggled. "Probably best we didn't because as you said, Bonnie doesn't really like any guy that's close to Kat."
Freddy pondered this before agreeing, "Yeah, you're right."
