Disclaimer: I only own Kat and Ophelia.
Chica groaned when she saw Foxy sitting at the dining room table with Kat the next morning. The redhead girl was geared up for the gym and waiting for Chica.
Foxy locked eyes with Chica and grinned as he took in her outfit of short shorts and a crop top.
"You ready?" Kat asked when she saw the blonde.
"Sure, let me eat first," Chica replied. She made her way over to the kitchen. "You ate right?"
"Yes," Kat's response was quick and sharp, startling the blonde.
The blonde glanced over her shoulder at Kat in confusion. She noticed Foxy staring at Kat, equally confused.
"But you said—" Foxy started.
"I did eat," Kat snapped. She sighed in irritation and wrapped her arms around herself. "Why is everyone bothering me about my eating habits?"
Chica's violet eyes connected with Foxy's amber eyes. Both were equally puzzled and slightly concerned.
Kat pushed her chair back and said, "I'll go wait outside."
"No, wait!" Chica all but shouted. She lunged for Kat's arm, almost pulling the redhead girl down to the floor. "I mean, I'm just making a quick breakfast then we can go."
Foxy smirked at Chica, something she tried to ignore. He figured quickly that the blonde was going through a bad breakup but who knew, he could be the one to fix it. Knowing what he did about Kat and Ophelia, he figured Ophelia would be easier to get information on her, but Kat was closer to her.
"What are you in a hurry for?" Foxy asked casually. "Not trying to avoid me, are you?"
"Zumba," Chica answered shortly. "We're waiting on Lia." She grabbed eggs and bacon. "Kat, you want any?"
"No." Kat moaned as she put her head in her hands.
"Are you feeling okay, cutie?" Foxy questioned gently. He rubbed her back, ignoring her quips of why was he touching her, and watched Chica move to a cabinet.
"I'm fine," Kat insisted. She took a cup of water from Chica and sipped it.
Chica set out milk and orange juice. She ignored Foxy stares and went to work.
"What's all the commotion?" Ophelia inquired as she entered the dining room. She set her gym bag on the floor.
Foxy was about to answer when he saw Kat pleading with her eyes. He knew that Ophelia was very protective of her sister and could be very scary when fired up. "Nothing," he lied.
"Oh, okay." The older blonde moved to the coffee maker to make a cup of coffee. "Kat, you eat already?"
"Yes," Kat replied; she was trying to not show how irritated she was getting. Chica set a small bowl of scrambled eggs in front of her. "I said I didn't—"
"I know, but extra protein doesn't hurt," Chica said firmly.
Kat made a face at her food, something that didn't go undetected by Foxy.
Chica set a breakfast burrito in front of Foxy before turning away.
"Thanks, sweetheart," Foxy complimented with a wink.
"Lia?" Chica said politely, intentionally ignoring Foxy. "Breakfast burrito?"
"Please," Ophelia replied. She poured cream and sugar into her mug.
Bonnie and Freddy stumbled into the dining room, rubbing sleep out of their eyes. As if she had timed it herself, Chica slid plates in front of them before sitting down herself.

"Kat, can I ask you a few questions?" Foxy asked during biology class.
"Just did," Kat replied. She looked around to make sure Mike or Mangle weren't nearby to overhear.
"Ha-ha," Foxy laughed sarcastically. "I just want to know more about everyone."
"You know Lia."
"I know that, I'm talking about everyone else."
Kat looked up from her notebook. "Well?" She prompted.
"What are everyone's hobbies?"
Kat stared at him. "Of all the questions, you ask that?" She sighed. "Lia's is shopping as you know, Chica cooks, Bonnie plays guitar, and Freddy likes videogames."
Foxy hummed in interest. "Favorite colors?"
"Why are you asking?" Kat interrupted. "You could ask them yourself."
"Chica doesn't seem interested in talking to me," Foxy pointed out. "Neither does Bonnie for that matter." He tilted his head. "Freddy's been friendly."
The redhead girl hand waved his statement. "Don't let that bother you." She glanced over Foxy's shoulder. "Mangle seems to be interested in you."
Foxy glanced over his shoulder to see the teacher assistant staring at him. She blushed and quickly looked away.
"Not interested," Foxy told Kat truthfully. "I don't understand the white hair on twenty-something year olds. I have someone else in mind."
"Do you?" Kat bore, she barely glanced at her lab partner. "Fascinating, tell me more." Her tone was so monotone and dry it would rival a desert.
"You know, your interest is overwhelming," Foxy teased. "But you're like a super genius, you probably figured it out."
"Hardly a genius," Kat shook her head. "Tell you what, we can play 20 questions when we get home."
"Sounds like a plan."

"Why are we playing 20 questions?" Bonnie groaned as he settled on the couch. "We already know each other."
"Foxy doesn't," Ophelia pointed out. "It'll be fun."
Freddy finished setting up a random question game on his phone and looked up. "It won't kill you have some fun, Bon," he agreed.
Bonnie mumbled about being ganged up on and crossed his arms. Kat sat down next him, causing his to uncross his arms.
Freddy held his phone out to Foxy. "You pick first," he instructed.
Foxy tapped the screen. "Favorite color," he read. "Red."
"Pink," Ophelia giggled.
"Yellow," Chica said monotonously.
"Purple," Bonnie piped up.
"Brown," Freddy said.
"Black," Kat announced. She tapped. "What's the best way to start the day? At the gym." Chica and Ophelia nodded in agreement.
"Nah, it's eating breakfast," Bonnie argued.
"Shower," Foxy insisted.
"Checking the stocks," Freddy piped in. He noticed everyone staring at him strangely. "What?"
"Next." Bonnie took the phone. "If you could date any celebrity, which would it be? Hm… Dakota Fanning."
"Channing Tatum," Kat spoke up causing Ophelia to fan herself and murmur.
"Oh, he's hot!" Ophelia squealed. "Ok, him or Chris Hemsworth."
"Daniel Radcliffe," Chica said.
"Jennifer Aniston," Freddy answered.
"Jessica Alba," Foxy said.
"Next question," Chica said. The phone transferred to her. "Is it possible to love someone without knowing them?" She groaned and looked around the room.
"No," Kat snapped, surprising Foxy. "You can't." She started to get up but was stopped by Bonnie; she crossed her arms in a huff.
"Well, it works in the movies," Ophelia spoke up.
"Those are movies though," Bonnie argued.
"Who asked that?" Chica demanded roughly.
"Let's move on," Freddy spoke up in an attempt to change the conversation. He sensed this wasn't going to end well. Hoping he wouldn't pick a controversial question, he tapped the screem. "What's your darkest secret?"
"I'm a hopeless romantic," Ophelia confessed with a sigh. "Childhood sweethearts is my favorite kind."
"Sorry guys," Kat stood up so fast that she got a head rush. "I'm not playing anymore." She stalked out of the room.
Foxy turned to look at the remaining house members, his eyebrows raised.
Ophelia shook her head. "Sorry Foxy, we all have skeletons in the closet." She got up and left, tugging Chica behind her.
The guys took the hint and decided to retire for the night. Hopefully tomorrow would be better.
