Disclaimer: I only own Kat and Ophelia.
"What happened to telling Ophelia?" Bonnie hissed to Chica the a few days later in math class.
"I don't know," Chica admitted with a shrug. "What if we're overthinking this?"
Bonnie stared at her in disbelief. "Overthi-Chic!"
"What?" Glancing around quickly for their professor, Chica leaned in. "You know how Lia can get, she'll go into mama bear mode."
"So?"
"So we have finals coming up, everyone is stressed enough." Chica paused. "Maybe it's nothing, working out is mine and Kat's preference to relieving stress."
Bonnie didn't look the least bit convinced but decided not to argue. After all, no one knew Kat better than Ophelia and Chica. "Christmas is coming up," he said, changing the topic.
"Are you going to see your parents?"
"Don't know," the purple hair man admitted. "We sort of left on a sour note when I moved out." He sighed, tapping his pencil against the table. "I wish they'd just understand that Kat and Ophelia aren't like their parents."
Chica nodded sympathetically. "If it helps, I don't think Penny and Leonard will be home for Kat and Lia."
"Really?"
"The blonde shook her head. "No, Lia would have said something." She tiled her head. "We need to figure out what to get everyone."
"Especially Foxy," Bonnie pointed out.
Letting out a sigh, the violet eye girl said, "Yes, him too."
"A carton of cigarettes?"
Chica let out a disgusted noise. "We don't even like when he takes one out in the house."
"I know, I was kidding; we'll figure it out." Bonnie smiled. "Mall later?"
"Sure."

Ophelia squealed and jump at the chance of going to the mall when she caught Chica and Bonnie talking about it after class. She quickly rounded up Kat, Freddy and Foxy and dragged everyone out.
"Lia, it's crowded," Kat mumbled. She started playing with the string of her hoodie.
"Isn't it great?" Ophelia replied; she put her hands on her hips.
"But I already got everyone's gifts." Kat pointed out.
"Oh, I know you did," Ophelia agreed blissfully.
"Then why am I here?"
"To help."
Kat groaned as Ophelia patted her on the shoulder.
Foxy watched the two in amusement. Those two were such opposites that it cracked him up.
"They're funny, aren't they?" Freddy asked with a laugh.
"Okay," Ophelia declared. "Kat will be on standby."
"I'm not carrying anything," Kat protested with a cross of her arms.
Ophelia pouted before continuing, "She can help if anyone needs help with gifts."
"Lia, I think Kat would rather do anything but be on standby," Chica commented. She couldn't help but giggle at the look on Kat's face.
"Oh nonsense," Ophelia said with a hand wave.
"First dibs!" Foxy shouted. He reached forward and grabbed Kat's wrist. He started walking away, leading the confused redhead away.
Kat groaned as Ophelia called, "Hey, I didn't even say where we're going to meet and when."
"Just text us, blondie," Foxy bellowed over his shoulder. He chuckled at the scowl on Ophelia's face at the nickname.
"But I wanted to go sit in the food court," Kat protested softly as she struggled to keep up in the crowds.
"And do what?"
"Sit there."
"And now you're not, I need gift ideas."
"Fine," Kat pouted.
"You know, that's probably the only thing you and Ophelia have in common," Foxy pointed out. He was surprised when the redhead girl glared. "What? It is."

Chica decided to team up with Ophelia but quickly regretted it when the older blonde dragged her from store to store without a chance to really look at anything.
"Lia, slow down," Chica moaned, slightly out of breath. "How can I look at anything if you won't let me stop for more than five seconds?"
"This is like D-day, Chic," Ophelia declared as she effortlessly moved through the throngs of people. "Everyone's in the spirit, finding the perfect gifts takes time. I think there's gift wrappers by the foot court."
The younger blonde sighed.
"After all, this is one of the best times of the year." The older blonde continued, oblivious to her friend's sighs.
"At least you didn't say the most wonderful time." Chica admitted.
"Precisely." Ophelia started to ramble. "It's all about the holiday magic, giving presents, seeing everyone's faces! The chocoalte!"
The older blonde stopped suddenly when she realized Chica wasn't following her anymore. She peeked over her shoulder to see Chica staring at something, her face crestfallen and depressed.
"Chica?" She inquired in worry. She strolled back over to her friend. "What's wrong?" She followed Chica's line on vision and felt her stomach drop.
Hanging outside of Pandora was Springtrap with Jessica, the girl he had cheated on Chica with. He showed her a ring and grinned.
"Oh, it's beautiful!" Jessica exclaimed with a smile.
"He never bought me jewelry," Chica whispered. She felt tears building up and swallowed.
Fury raging inside of her, Ophelia started to storm over.
"Ophelia, no!" Chica shouted. She lunged for her friend and nearly tackled her to the floor. "Don't!"
"Chica, let me go!" Ophelia argued, attempting to get out of her friend's grasp, attracting unwanted stares of the other shoppers, including Springtrap and Jessica.
"No!" Chica started to struggle. "Lets," she grunted. "Let's just find everyone and go." She caught sight of a mall cop staring. "Please," she begged.
The older blonde swore under her breath and grumbled, "Fine." She dug her phone out of her purse and started typing away. "Guess we're done here for the day."
