After what felt like hours of searching, Henry managed to find the pipes he needed to drain the small room leading to the vault and despite some near encounters with the Butcher gang, he was now heading on his way back to the waiting area, still unaware that Lily had been taken by Bendy whilst she was waiting for him.
"Okay, now that I got what I needed, I can finally head back and then I and Lily can get into the flooded room, then into the vault and find out what's in there," he said to himself before coming across another office on his way and this one turned out to be that of Joey Drew's, also inside was another tape recorder "hmm, wonder what recordings are on this one, see if there's any more information about what the hell happened here." Tucking the pipes under his arm, Henry quickly slipped into the office and noticed how well kept and cleaner than the rest of the studio and why the hell did Joey even have his office deep underneath the studio itself but Henry's attention was more focused on the tape player and not wanting to waste any more time, he pressed the play button and once again, the voice of Joey Drew himself began to play from the recording.
"I know how much this part means to you Susie, Alice means a lot to me too, all my characters do. In fact, I'll let you in on a little secret, I too really believe my characters are more than just drawings, they're alive, they're part of us and I want people to know them as well as I do. I want people to be able to shake their hands, spend an afternoon with them, love them. Susie, I'll be straight with you, I'm putting together a small project, a little ceremony. If it works, a lot of dreams will come true and I want you to be a part of it, I want you to bring Alice to life once again, what do you say?"
"Oh my god" Henry muttered as the tape came to an end "he was using the workers to make living cartoons and I reckon the Ink machine must be part of all this." Once the tape had finished he proceeded with his task and once he found all the pipes he needed, Henry made his way back to the waiting area and barely escaping the butcher gang in the process. As he arrived back in the waiting area, the first thing he noticed was that Lily was no longer there and with his parental instincts kicking in, Henry began looking around to see if she was hiding anywhere.
"Lily, honey where are you?" he called out " Lily, answer me, baby." There came no response from the little girl and it was at that moment Henry knew that she must have been taken again.
"No please, not again" he muttered before yelling out in the empty waiting room "BENDY, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU, YOU BETTER GIVE MY DAUGHTER BACK YOU SON OF A BITCH!." There was no response from either Lily or the Ink Demon and standing around wasn't going to help find his little girl so Henry gathered up the pipes to fix the plumbing system to drain the room leading to the vault.
"Hang in there Lily, Daddy's coming, just hold on," he said as he fixed the pipe system and drained the flooded room before proceeding through into the vault room. The vault as a huge open room and its large door appeared to have been pulled off, also, there was a message written on the inside saying THE DEMON HAS TAKEN IT.
"What has he taken?" Henry said to himself "he must have taken something else as well as Lily."
"Well, looks like whatever was here was taken long ago" Henry turned around to find Tom and Allison standing behind him. Like they had just appeared out of nowhere.
"How on earth did you two get down here?" Henry asked, looking at them both with confusion.
"It pays to carry a rope, you should try it sometime" Allison replied, "also, where's your daughter, why isn't she with you?"
"He's taken her again, the Ink Demon, he's taken my little girl so I'm going after him" Henry replied, "also, I think he's taken some important item from this vault too, so I've got to go after him."
"You want to go to his lair, are you crazy?" Allison questioned, "that's death, anyone who ventures into his liar never makes it out alive." Henry paled at Allison's word but he knew he had to remain strong for Lily's sake, the longer they stood around, the more danger she was in and he knew he had no choice but to go to the Ink Demon's lair, there was a possible chance that Lily could have been taken there and he had to get her back before it was too late.
"That's where the trail seems to lead" Henry replied, "and I'm not going to lose my daughter, I've already lost my wife, Lily's all I have left." He could feel his eyes watering but quickly brushed them away.
"Well it's probably close by, probably through that door" Allison replied, gesturing to the steel doors in front of them "but it's not going to be easy to get through, so we'll probably need some tools to get" she was cut off as Tom used his metal arm to punch his way through "well, that works too I guess." The three then proceeded into the next room which appeared to be a long corridor with a huge glass window looking into another corridor and just as they entered that area, the room suddenly became dark with Inky veins.
"Ssh, quiet, don't make any noise" Allison whispered as Bendy lumbered into view and Henry began to clench his fists, where was Lily, what had he done with her. As the Ink Demon disappeared through the wall on the opposite side of the room, the group proceeded into the next area and before long, they found themselves in a large, cavern like area and right in front of them, at the end of some kind of Inky lake, was what appeared to be another Ink machine that appeared to be much larger than the one Henry and Lily had seen upstairs, and Henry could see that smaller Ink machine resting on top of the much, larger one. The thought of his Little girl being held captive inside that place made Henry feel like his heart was in his throat, he couldn't even begin to imagine how terrified she must be right now. He knew he had to go in there and save her, before it's too late.
"Wow" Allison gasped as she walked forward to get a closer look "I've never seen anything like this. I don't see anyway to get to it, nothing to built a raft with."
"We'll have to wade across" Henry suggested.
"We can't, we're not like you Henry" Allison replied "if we go in there, well, a drop of water in the ocean is rarely seen again."
"Then I guess this is all up to me and I don't even know what I'm doing here" Henry replied "I don't know why this is all happening to me, and Lily. I should have never brought her here, now she's being held hostage inside that thing and if anything happens to her, I don't know what I'll do. I can't lose my little girl, I just can't, she's all I have left." He could feel his eyes watering again but quickly brushed them away as he felt Allison place her hand on his shoulder.
"You must be here for a reason Henry" she implied, giving him a reassuring smile "it's time, save your daughter, set us free." Henry nodded and climbed down the ledge and into the Inky lake before proceeding to make his way towards the Ink Demon's lair. Once he arrived, he found himself at the end of a long corridor with glass tubes on either side of the walls and what Henry noticed was that they appeared to contain humanoid like Ink creatures...the lost ones.
"So, this is where those guys come from" he muttered as he walked down the long, silent corridor, looking at all the glass tubes which mostly contained lost ones until he reached the very end of the corridor and what he saw in the final glass tube made his heart nearly jump from his chest, because in that last glass tube, slumped against the wall, unconscious with her head slumped forward and her long, brown hair covering most of her face, was Lily.
