Chapter 12 – The Will Reading P1
A/N: Thanks everyone for reviewing and reading. I decided it was time for a little time skip. While I know many of you will be long awaiting this chapter, I have decided to split it into two parts, seeing as they are large chapters. Let me know of any details you think I should add before the next chapter and I hope you enjoyed this part.

Harry POV:
I awoke in the morning from a horrid nightmare. One where Dumbledore had escaped free from his crimes he was soon going to be charged with. After that, the dream faded into face pale and weak lying in a room, the face was a woman's. A girl, my age I thought. Something was wrong, I could feel it even in the dream, she looked pale so pale she could have been nicknamed snow white. It seemed like she was suffering in her sleep, maybe a nightmare like mine, but when I reached out to grab her hand she stilled. As if sensing my presence and being calmed from it. The next moment however, my world was black until I opened my eyes into the familiar bedroom of Privet Drive.
'The past week has been mental. That dream was something else though. Maybe a sign?' I thought, huffing out my questions to myself as I rose from my bed and began the usual morning routine; shower, dress and get breakfast. Entering the water, I let my thoughts drift as I relaxed in the water. I glanced down and noticed how my body was in much better shape than last week, and so different from a few weeks ago it was like I was someone else entirely. My scars had long since faded properly, leaving small pinkish marks where they were, my body had grown since my bones were completely healed and I looked healthy, even better than a normal 16-year-old would be. 'Maybe it's just the magic, or my eyesight but I think I look like a 7th year at least.'
The past week had been full of activities, first came my mail with Hedwig from Ginny – originally, I thought it was just a letter - obviously, it was just a portkey instead then Dumbledore responding to my questions and implying Ollivander's may be attacked. Specifically, by a werewolf, of course I thought Amelia would like the tip and send her a copy of the info. Me and Hermione had basically been sending notes back and forth, Hedwig was actually complaining a little even though she loved the distance and Hermione. I think she was sick of hearing us go on about each other, 'hmm I wonder, is there another phoenix for Hedwig to get close to somewhere?' I decided to save that thought for later. Hermione had been reading up on the books I gave her and started Occlumency training, I was happy that she was likely much safer with it. We had even organised a small trip to go vault searching, a few days ago and I have to say, it brought up some amazing things. Hermione found some ancient magic texts about forgotten charms and wards, it was a beautiful book and we both spent time to make notes on some of them. She also got a new cauldron, or I guess it was old, but it seemed powerful like it had absorbed the old potions it had brewed in. Then of course came her necklace. The necklace of Morgana Le Fey herself. It was stunningly bright silver, goblin forged and enchanted with a mixture of rubies, emeralds, and sapphires around a black diamond. I didn't know what power it held, but it pulsed as Hermione put it on and I swear she floated on air for a second and glowed, she just looked at me like I was crazy when I told her.
Me on the other hand, I got some journals on blood magic and curses from the Black Vaults with a small stylish dragon tooth necklace, wrapped with the hair of a unicorn I could identify as it glowed softly. 'Perfect for a healing gift, unicorn as a healing presence and a dragon tooth for defence, brilliant.' I thought when I pocketed it. Similarly, I found a journal from my mam in the Potter Vaults, detailing more about blood curses and the beginnings of a cure for them. It was complicated, beyond NEWT level complicated. Involving charm work, potion creating and familiar magic to affect the specific target. Maybe I would need it, who knows I remember saying out loud as I slipped it into my dragonhide pouch. After leaving we both said we would meet before the will reading and went home. I started meditating and my mind arts had now created a small fortress for my mind, it was difficult but still easy to eventually open, just without me noticing if it happened. Moving on I felt a blockage to my Animagus animal, like it just refused to co-operate for now, so I left it and moved on perfecting some of my runes and spell craft work.
Coming out of the shower, I thought of the past week with the Dursley's. It had been fun, I thought as least, full of pranking them and making them suffer for their past indiscretions. Petunia had downright stopped speaking to Dudley as she hated the sight of him and jumped whenever something slammed or someone spoke. 'Must be the voices.' I mused, walking past her room, hearing her whimper, the voices were definitely a nice touch. She had already broke and screamed a few times during the night, but whenever I asked her if she had had enough, she refused me and looked away. I took the hint and left her alone, soon she would suffer more as she begged for me to stop her torment and I would just ignore her as she was with me now. Vernon was another piece of entertainment, every night he would look around at his family as if they were something else to him, something he didn't like, it was amazing to watch. Of course, he had tried to get me to stop, offering me whatever I wanted to end everyone's torment, that wasn't going to do anything of course but I did let him beg for a while. Moving on to Dudley, my favourite cousin, being weak he was easy to manipulate. I made him act like I did sometimes as a child, flinching when I walked past or even crying after a nightmare or two. Once I even shifted my eyes into red like a demon's, he was so scared as he ran up those stairs, I nearly cried out but shrugged as Vernon turned to me.
After grabbing some breakfast from Winky, who was much better from both her shock the other day and her overall health by the way; Dobby past me looking for a particular set of socks as I went into the trunk to begin the morning work I was now in routine with. First breakfast than a quick chapter before a run with some more reading before practicing either spells, runes, or wards. These last few days though, I had started reading about potion making, though I was horrid with the subject thanks to my dislike of Snape, I still tried to understand the processes instead of trying to make them. Eventually I knew I would have to relearn all of potions, they were extremely useful in the magical world, basically a liquid cheat to some solutions magic couldn't create with a spell. No wonder Snape loved it so much. Today was different though, today I was only reading to pass some time until I met Hermione and Ragnok before the will reading, then I would have to deal with the whole fallout of said reading and sort out the binding magical marriage contract with Daphne Greengrass. 'God when did life get so business like?' I thought, I wasn't complaining or anything after all everything I was doing was helping me survive I just hoped it would be enough.
I went downstairs after hearing Hedwig say, 'I hope you show me how everything goes when you get back, I'm off hunting.' Before flying out the window, I promised I would and while going downstairs I heard the clock chime 9am and saw Petunia flinch at the clock and then again when she saw me. It was a bad day I guessed, for her. 'Tough luck, isn't it Aunty?' I chuckled. I left Privet Drive using Dobby, it was a day to important for Dumbledore to notice any wizard travel inside the 'Oh most holy wards!" Honestly, I couldn't wait to see Dumbledore's face when I told him the wards were rubbish and I knew it. Guess I would have to bring that prototype of the rune inscribed phone with me, I could try and get a picture. A wizarding photo on Snapchat was actually quite awesome, catch me putting the dog effect on Dumbledore! I laughed out loud as Dobby took me to the Leaky Cauldron, to meet Hermione first.
Within seconds of arriving and Dobby disappearing back off, I was ambushed. My mind instantly travelled to Death Eaters and how perhaps Dumbledore was right! I swung round to the attacker as they barrelled into my chest, about to whip out my wand. Luckily, I saw the everlasting fizzy hair and mind-blowing brown eyes staring into mine. Hermione. My thought raced as I hugged her back and kissed her quickly, she smiled and told me I was late. I smirked a half smile and told her naturally, as I dragged her towards Gringotts Bank. I might be a few minutes late for Hermione, but I wasn't going to be late for the last-minute meeting with the goblins. Entering the bank, I could see several tellers looking at me, knowing who I was and staring as I walked up to the front desk and beyond into the main room. Ragnok stood waiting as I passed the doors, smiling as he saw me it was clear he was anxious to see what happened today like me. Sitting down we all began to discuss how the day should go and hopefully it would stick to the plan.
"First off Harry, we shall gather into the main room for the will reading, per your and Mr. Black's wishes we have installed a privacy viewing room, allowing access to both Ms. Skeeter and Lady Bones. You shall be inside the room until the reading begins to maximise the surprise entrance to hopefully shock Dumbledore, then with the revelations both Dumbledore, Mrs. Weasley and perhaps her youngest will be taken in for a criminal trial. Their reactions will surely work in our favour, we goblins have acquired all financial evidence of their deceits and passed into onto Lady Bones. The traitor…" Ragnok paused with a grimace.
"The traitor Griphook has already been charged as to our laws, The People have ensured your honour has been restored along with your and Griphook's gold. He has lost the right to live, being a traitor to the nation, he has disgraced himself and his family by taking what is not his." He finished, angry that a goblin would do this under his nose and happy that it was took care of so fast. Me and Hermione smiled to Ragnok, who proceeded to tell me the room would be magically sealed until the will reading was completed, stopping magical travel, and suppressing magic nearly entirely. That was why some goblin guards would be in the room with us in case someone got out of hand. "Furthermore, the meeting with the Greengrasses' should be proceeding as planned for after the reading, after dealing with the aftermath that no doubt Ms. Skeeter will need you to comment on." Finishing up we looked at the time and saw it was 15 minutes to 10, we left the room, and I was about to be directed to the privacy room when I saw Draco enter with his mother. Realising this might be the only chance I could have to change him, I told Hermione to go into the room and be ready to act like she was still under enchantments before walking towards Draco.
His face as he saw me scrunched up. I couldn't tell if he wasn't expecting me here or was hopeful that I wouldn't be here to claim anything, either way I continued with my developing plan and stopped just short of him and his mother, Narcissa. She looked between me and Draco and said nothing before Draco could change that I began my coercion for them both.
"Lady Malfoy, Heir Malfoy it is good to see you well on this fine Friday morning." I began softly and kindly. The approach worked quite well by the way Draco reacted, flinching back as if I was someone unknown to him, instead of his worst enemy. "Draco, I wanted to apologise for my behaviour towards you over the last few years, I know your family must have to deal with some situations because of the last year and hope we could instead change the paths we seem to be on. Don't say anything to answer me now just think on it will you?" I asked, continuing before not even waiting as I turned and left to enter the private viewing room. I saw Draco turn to his mother in shock, a twisted glare on his face as she just shook her head and continued to talk to a teller.
After a few minutes of waiting in the private room, I greeted both Lady Amelia and Rita Skeeter, having a small interview as to what I thought Dumbledore had planned all these years with his treatment of me. Then Amelia explained how everything was in order to arrest Dumbledore after the will reading and demand an emergency Wizengamot meeting. We sat there watching as some others entered the main room, including the Weasley's and Remus. Remus stood back as the Weasley's, mainly Ron and Mrs. Weasley basically bounced on her asking how she was and if she was in contact with me. I started shaking in anger, being close to entering the room and telling them straight up to fuck off. I'm not sure what happened but Remus must have been able to tell the difference in Hermione and called her over to him, escaping her from the Rat and his mother. Narcissa and Draco then entered taking their places and ignoring the others around them, followed shortly by Tonks and I guessed Andromeda by the similar short and slightly pinkish hair, a metamorpher like her daughter and me. I saw Ragnok and Skullsmasher enter after a few minutes and as soon as they sat down at the top of the table, they ordered for the doors to close.
For a moment I was worried Dumbledore had forgotten the reading time but of course I forgot what a drama act he was. Not a second before the doors were about to be fully closed, his hands banged them back open and in walked Albus Dumbledore, the wizard of the hour. Smiling I sat sitting down and watched through the one-way glass into the meeting, Dumbledore apologised for being slightly late, giving those grandfather eyes to the goblins which clearly didn't even affect them. He approached Skullsmasher and shocked stuck him still for a moment as he recognised Ragnok, the chief, but then continued to try to use them to his advantage.
"Honourable Chief Ragnok, it is nice to see you however shocking it is to see you at a mere Will Reading?" He stated fishing for answers as to why the Chief would be present. I wasn't going to lie; I was a bit panicky in case he smelt the rat and not the one on the other side of the room. "That is of no concern to you, Mr. Dumbledore. Please take your seat so the reading can begin." Ragnok spoke to Dumbledore, to be honest I was taken back with his tone as I recognised how polite to me, he was compared to others, including the headmaster.
"I'm afraid that is the reason I must wait to take my seat, Chief Ragnok, Mr. Potter is unable to attend today and has sent me as his magical guardian to accept his inheritance in his behalf. Mr. Potter has stated his grief over the late Sirius Black and refuses to be present as it would be too hard for him, I'm sure you understand? Perhaps it has something to do with the other occupants in the room such as the Malfoy's." Dumbledore finished with a glance to Draco. He smiled politely back to the goblins, expecting them to jump and agree instantly as they usually would have while he took my money, I expected. Instead, he was shocked to see the icy glare on the goblins faces, aimed right at him.
"I'm afraid Mr. Dumbledore that is unacceptable." Ragnok spat out basically before continuing. "Mr. Potter is the direct recipient of this will reading, his inheritance cannot be claimed by anyone but him. Magical guardian or not. We will not authorise this will be reading without him, as we made clear to all others including yourself." The Chief spoke his words with power, standing as told Dumbledore how it would not be an authorised meeting without me. Dumbledore barely held back a sharp remark from what I could tell by his sour face, instead insisting that he could claim it for me as my guardian and as the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot before also throwing down a clearly fake – since I would know – piece of parchment declaring I had signed it for him earlier today. 'Aw, so throwing around titles and fake documents I see, tut tut.' I thought, catching eyes with Amelia alerting her to his current piece of treachery. I turned back to the goblins, watching as Skullsmasher looked over the parchment with a look of disgust while Ragnok didn't even spare it a glance, I could have laughed at his poker face. He, the chief, sat there staring Dumbledore in the eye as Skullsmasher finished looking it over before declaring without a glance at it, "Fake."
That one word caused Dumbledore to have a small vein popping in his neck, clearly, he expected to be believed on his word and if not that his own evidence. Or at least have it looked at, instead of just it being tossed aside unnoticed.
"Now see here," Dumbledore commanded – "Oh wrong move." I whispered to Rita, who smirked back – Dumbledore continued his disrespect, "I am the Chief Warlock and Supreme Mugwump of the ICW I do believe I am able to take control of the inheritance of a minor under my care and unable to attend the reading." He stated quite firmly, I for one found the smirks on the goblins faces to be entertaining. Dumbledore, however, clearly didn't as his eyes began burning at them. I decided now, a little earlier than planned but still a perfect moment to enter. No point letting Dumbledore get removed before the fun had actually began and the goblins had enjoyed their piece of fun. I stood up and excused myself from Amelia and Rita, slipping my half smirk on my face I looked back at them before stepping out of the private room and into the sealed will reading room and told them, "Enjoy the show, ladies."
Now to say the tension in the room was already building, as everyone was watching Dumbledore's little standoff with the Chief, but to them feel it build as I saw everyone turn towards me as I entered the room from what seemed like the wall, was exhilarating. The silence became deafening as stood still staring at them all, apart from Remus and Hermione. I saw Mrs. Weasley and Ron look mortified I had come, Remus sporting a grin as he stood next to Hermione looking proud as to where this could be leading to and Ginny with a lustful gaze as she looked at my pants instantly. Then I looked over to Dumbledore, who without a doubt had that award winning dumbstruck look I wanted from earlier. That reminded me, no one said anything as I quickly whipped out an iPhone and snapped a picture on the open snapchat app. 'Perfect, quality gold.' I thought, saving the photo, and putting it back into my pocket. With the picture and my movement Dumbledore unfroze himself and was about to speak, but I hadn't said my turn yet, so I jumped in and made him wait.
"Ahem, whatever do you mean Professor? I am here and feel perfectly fine, but I would like to know where you got that letter I don't remember signing?" I started, walking closer to the desk as I looked around for a good seat. "The goblins thought it necessary to directly send for me you see, as they said I am the main benefactor and only I can claim my inheritance." I said calmly. Dumbledore looked panicked for a slight second, before clearly his mental magic began to work to control his composure. "Ah Harry my boy, you shouldn't be here it isn't safe, I warned you about a possible attack you need to be safe in your family wards." He claimed almost sadly like I had disappointed him, 'Is it just me or did that act look either incredibly improvised and therefore award worthy, or like an old man desperately grasping for straw ends?' I wondered. Perhaps both? Who knew? I acted shocked at his words, clutching my heart and replying, "Why Professor you're right I forgot about the wards, oh how could I forget?" I whimpered back to him, come on I deserved some fun for all his deceit to me and I was going to go all out for it. I put on some fake puppy dog tears and proclaimed, "Oh Professor what have I done, outside the wards! Well, such thing is damn near unheard off." I finished, listening to the giggles come from the twins, Remus, Hermione and even Ragnok.
Dumbledore looked at me in bewilderment at my answer before that turned into sour disappointment. "My boy, Voldemort could come after you at any moment, I wanted you safe today so you don't have to go through this emotional baggage, why don't you tell the Chief here how I can claim everything for you, and we can send you back to Privet Drive to be safe?" He asked me, putting his hand on my shoulder, and looking deep into my eyes. I nearly jumped as I felt the soft prickle of warmth coming from my charm on my wrist, before the subtle stroke of Dumbledore trying to enter my mind. 'That absolute fucking Mug.' I thought as I simply locked him out of my mind, keeping him unaware that I could now control my own thoughts and weren't under his compulsions anymore. I stood there, listening to him though as he was basically spewing evidence for Amelia. Making sure to set up a particular memory for this part I told him what I thought of that, clear as day.
"Well Professor," I returned his twinkling gaze for a furious one of my own, "I think that idea can go fuck itself how about that?" I returned, watching him frown and hearing Molly gasp at me. In the corner of my eye Draco smirked as everyone continued watching my little show, I thought I would call it The Dumbledore Drama. "I don't think I'll be leaving so soon now do you? We have so much to discuss, after all the goblins have already read me my own part in Sirius's will. Now would you like to get to it, or should I ask you again, where you got that note I don't recall signing?" Dumbledore froze again at my words, looking me over and realising the changed to me, my height, weight and even the feature changes. Let him have his suspicions, they mean nothing now. He sighed, accepting defeat as he went to sit down, I turned to the goblins grinning as I motioned for them to begin and sat down next to Hermione and Remus. Hermione grabbed my hand and squeezed it as she smirked with me, while Remus was buzzing with amusement at it all.
"Now that we can begin, I would like to introduce myself and my staff, I am Chief Ragnok Head of this Gringotts Bank and this is Skullsmasher Head of the Inheritance Department. We are gathered here today to read and deliver the inheritances bequeathed to any of you by the late Mr. Sirius O Black. As Head of the Bank, I expect your best behaviour whether you like what you are given or not, may that serve as a warning now that aggressive and inappropriate behaviour is unwelcome and will be dealt with by the terms of the Goblin Treaty of 1011. The room will become magically sealed until the reading is over and the inheritance matters have been dealt with. Remember you are on Goblin land, behave like such or you will find our hospitality waning." Ragnok finished his speech, his words delivered sternly but hesitantly as the suspense built once again. His eyes on everyone but me and Hermione, focusing directly on the Rat and the Supreme Mug as he warned them; behave, or suffer the warning clear and affective. "Let us begin." He rumbled after giving them all one more glare, sitting back down for Skullsmasher as he stood up and unravelled the familiar parchment, beginning to speak.
"I, Sirius Orion Black, being of sound mind and body, do hereby declare this my Last Will and Testament making all others null and void. To begin I'd like to say to my Godson Harry, I may not know why I died if I clearly already have, but I do know whatever it was for it was worth it, and therefore please don't get stuck up in grief over me Harry, remember to live. Now, let's get on with it you old money grabbers, shall we?" I felt Hermione grab my hand in support as he continued saying the words, I had already heard but still couldn't get over. I smiled, grateful to her and squeezed back.
"Firstly, to my last living best friend, Remus J Lupin, I hereby leave 50,000 galleons, for your friendship in life and with the hopes you update the damn wardrobe." I heard Remus give a sad chuckle at his best friend, nodding that he would get some new clothes. "Next, to my dear cousin Andromeda Tonks and her daughter, known as Tonks, I hereby leave 25,000 galleons each, with the hope my Godson will agree to a request I have added for later on. Similarly, I leave the same to both Narcissa Malfoy nee Black and her son, Draco Malfoy, on the similar condition I have made to my Godson as well as the additional request of annulling the marriage to Lucius Malfoy." This caused a different reaction to both parties. Tonks and her mother looked stunned at the gold left to them and held each other, wondering what the other request was. Meanwhile though both Narcissa and Draco were confused about the requests to me about them, they remained silent. Until of course, the annulment was mentioned, then hell broke loose. Narcissa wept in joy or fury I wasn't sure, but Draco was clearly the latter as looked like he wanted to argue, but Skullsmasher simply continued. "To my mad cousin Bellatrix Lestrange, I hereby leave the house elf heads that she is so fond off from the Black properties, as well as the offer I leave my Godson to be discussed at a later date."
Dumbledore was starting to get worried from the look of sweat on his brow. His eyebrows scrunched together as a slight sheen lingered on his forehead, it looked like he might be working all this out. Weighing the possibilities of this going in his favour and what the outcome to his plans would be if they didn't. He clearly didn't like what he was hearing however, first to have to deal with me as an unsuspecting shock then to hear I control over certain requests Sirius had left was clearly affecting his obsessive controlling behaviour. I could already see the gears turning as they wondered what the requests were. Of course, I could also see the gleam in his eye at the mention of gold both Remus and Tonks were going to receive, his plans to make them give it up to the order should have been posted on a billboard it was so obvious and clear. Luckily, Remus caught onto where I was looking and thinking as he too saw Dumbledore and shook his head, knowing he was too far gone to believe the damage he was doing instead of reversing. Onto my favourite part however, I grinned as I realised what was next, I shuffled in my seat eager to see the manipulators reactions to their inheritances. I offered Hermione some muggle popcorn I had smuggled in for this very reason, she shook her head as the smile and gleam in her eye showed me how amused she found my antics.
Skullsmasher paused however, as he opened his desk to collect a pensive orb, I had read about them that they can play memories basically like a small portable stone DVD player. Hey, it worked so I wasn't complaining. I was confused though, as to why this was happening instead of the good part of the will. Skullsmasher explained as Ragnok watched on, informing us how Sirius had left his own memories of the words he wanted to say as the inheritances were announced. The pensive would also show the memories of the details he would mention so we could understand. 'Aw this is perfect; everyone can see the truth this way.' I thought, no one could argue with a dead man's memories as evidence to his words, I eagerly awaited this part of my planned entertainment. The pensive orb was activated, and a lifelike Sirius appeared hovering over the front of the desk towards us, it was eerie as he looked at each off us as if he knew where we were each sitting, smiling at me and becoming enraged in the Mug's direction. He then moved to the side as he showed his memories like a movie reel, the memories of finding out the truth with Dumbledore including all his plans played. All the while, Sirius stood glaring at Dumbledore seriously, Skullsmasher read on.
"To continue I leave, Albus Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix, respectively one knut, to which you can use to shove where the sun doesn't shine for the mistreatment caused to Harry." Skullsmasher paused as the room gasped and the memories showed exactly what was done to me, the bindings, and charms while the Mug looked down thinking furiously. Molly and her youngest didn't look so good, paling even further as Sirius spoke to Dumbledore himself.
"You, you old disgusting fool of a man. Dumbledore," Sirius spoke lowly, his voice echoed in the room as we all recognised his deep rumbling tone. "You are nothing, Dumbledore. I hope you understand that. I might not have been able to stop you in life, but I did find the truth and be assured, I have made my own plans like you for the truth to come out. Enjoy the aftermath of my death and the aftermath of your own foolish beliefs, in the Greater Good." Sirius finished sarcastically, his memories flowing behind him as they showed him stealing from my vaults and planning my death. Dumbledore looked beyond shell-shocked as he glanced at me, seeing the fire burning in my eyes as I glared at him, he turned away muttering to himself, probably planning something to get out of this mess. Skullsmasher continued on with the will.
"Following along this line I bequeath to Ronald and Ginevra two knuts each, so they can rub together and understand their fortune for choosing the path they have. To Hermione J Granger I leave the sum of 30,000 galleons, on the conditions she has been cured from what I have found to believe, potions and compulsions against Harry." He paused again, letting Sirius catch up with his evidence as I looked over the recipients. Dumbledore was stewing in his seat, maddeningly glancing round the room as if he couldn't wait to leave. Molly, Ginny, and Rat wasn't doing much better. The Rat had called out how unfair it was as his inheritance was announced, Ginny following his lead as their mother looked in shock at being caught. It was Arthur who made them be quiet, his hand digging into their necks as he, his twin sons and Bill watched the evidence play out incriminating the specific members of their family. Arthur had a look of vengeance on his face as he watched Molly using potions to drug me, Hermione and even Ginny to love me more and bear children easier. Then the money stealing came out and the look between Fred, George and Arthur was enough to murder children, they were downright disgraced that their mother and siblings/wife and youngest would do that to Harry, a person they considered family. Sirius glared angrily at Molly specifically before shifting it to Ron.
"You Ronald Weasley, were supposed to be Harry's best friend. Do you know what that means? It means, you should have been willing to die for him as he would have for you. Instead, you chose jealousy, greed and the desire for fame to make you who you are Ronald." He finished his words cutting like a knife into the Weasley's as Ron wouldn't meet my eyes, typical. Sirius didn't hesitate for a moment as he turned to Molly.
"Molly Weasley. The disgrace of a mother who plans with her youngest to steal from the boy she had basically raised. You and Dumbledore raising him like family just to slaughter him like a pig. It's sick. What's that? How could a mother be worse, you ask?" Sirius asked us all from beyond the grave, waving for more memories to be shown. Arthur looked ill but forced himself to watch while the twins did have to look away, Bill the poor lad actually gagged nearly spewing. The memories were of Molly in Grimmauld Place with Ginny in a room, we all heard as Molly spoke in the memories telling Ginny to do everything, she could do to get me in bed. How if I didn't fall in love with her, it would only take one time to get some of my semen. Molly turned red as Ginny started to softy cry. Sirius continued his little after death assault on my manipulators.
"A mother encouraging her little girl to spread her legs. A mother encouraging her boy to exploit and spy on his best friend. You, Molly Weasley disgust me. Arthur, to you and the rest of the Weasley family I say this. Check yourself for potions, as you can see Molly has used them on Harry and Ginny. I can't tell you what to do since they are your wife and children, but I will say this. My grandfather, Arcturus would have gone mental at this dishonour, as Lord Black he would have demanded them cast out and interest for the stolen galleons they will soon be recompensating. Remember Arthur the thin line the Weasley name already walks around the Black's with. The families have never been one since my ancestor married into your family and tried taking the family fortune. I know we understand the whole thing has nothing to do with us, but now with Molly and your youngest doing this…" Sirius sighed deeply, offering Arthur a compensating sad smile as the memories showed the details of a long forgotten feud between a Black who married into the Weasleys' and then tried to take the Black fortune with him, causing the Black's to declare him blood traitor, thus his kin and descendants were also branded as them.
"Arthur, I know they are your children, but believe me they are too far-gone believing Dumbledore's lies, they really believe this is for the best and they can get something for themselves out of it. Look at them, tell me otherwise as you see past the shame, look at their anger for being caught." Sirius paused, letting Arthur do as he instructed, I saw the hurt in his face as he saw Sirius was right. Ron was raging on the point of yelling, Ginny was bright red in embarrassment and Molly, sat there dumbstruck at Sirius's earlier words, not even arguing against it. "You can choose Arthur, allow them to remain in your family and ruin your name as this gets out and even possibly making more damage, or save the rest of your family and cast them out. You're lucky it is Harry; he will likely only want his money back. My grandfather wouldn't have hesitated if you refused to declare a blood feud, likely kicking it off with a blood curse." He finished, a grave look on his face as the memories concluded and Arthur sat immobile, staring in the distance thinking on his choices. Sirius turned to me, giving me one last sad smile as he concluded his will with me and my inheritance himself, Skullsmasher watching as he returned sitting down.
"I would like to leave you Harry is my own personal journal I wrote detailing my progress into becoming an Animagus and the spells I used to prank your father and Moony. Lastly to you I leave my personal memories to discover what I have discovered and understand, and officially leave everything else of my possessions to you, I will love you and watch over you with your parents form the other side Harry, Goodbye." With that the final reading of Sirius Black was over. The fallout, however, was clearly just starting to begin as the silence reining over the group became deafening, before a wave of sound rang around the room as everyone burst into shouting.
Who started shouting first? I couldn't really tell you, but I do think it sounded a lot like a Rat yelling how unfair I got to have everything. Then the twins started shouting at him, and Ginny started crying loudly. Draco laughed, while his mother and Andromeda started yelling what the other requests were for me, Tonks and Remus started trying to get order. Molly and Arthur were arguing furiously, though Molly looked distraught. Even Dumbledore was yelling, only shouting at the goblins instead of anyone else, one of the biggest mistakes I will ever see in my life I gathered seeing him demand the contract be issued void and null. Shouting at goblins is a big no, just a heads up. Shouting at the Chief of the Goblins? Well, you tell me how that end up working out. Ragnok waited patiently for Dumbledore to finish his rant, claiming how unlawful the will was seeing as Sirius was a wanted man. Like a devil waiting for the chance to strike, Ragnok slowly rose from his seat.
"SILENCE!" He bellowed out; his magic flashing shut everyone's mouth as he continued to glare at them. "I have warned you all to act accordingly as you are on Goblin land. My land. Do not think you are above anyone other than me here and behave like the adults you are supposed to be. Dumbledore. You are wrong." He stated letting everyone hear as he ripped into the Mug now, "Though Mr. Black was incarcerated you know yourself he never received a trial; therefore, he is not a criminal and this Will is fully binding both magically and legally. If you have a problem with that, take it up with your own magical government, Chief Warlock." My joy showing recklessly as my mind defences went down allowing it. Here was my friend the Goblin Chief giving a smackdown to Dumbledore and insulting him clear to his face.
Dumbledore was the first to turn away, raising his eyes to me he realised I knew everything and was free from any control he once had on me. He knew he had little cards left he could play, but his mind turned as I watch his plan to use what he could in this situation. I guess that's why he tried the compassionate route. Speaking softly as the room became quite once again, he told me how this was for the best: the Greater Good, if I would and without it all I could have become worse than Voldemort himself. I laughed in his face, telling him that in doing so, everything he had done had made him worse than Voldemort, not me. I turned away after seeing his shrunken appearance at my words, he knew I was right I could see.
Ron jumped up glaring at me, starting to yell how unfair it was how I get everything, the money, the fame, even Hermione as he gestured too how close we were. He demanded his share, his right as he called it as he eyed Hermione with an evil glint, I really didn't like in his eyes. Ginny even started nodding her head, agreeing with him as her face shone with her tears. She wasn't looking at me anymore but Hermione, as if she were her worst enemy who had taken her puppy away from her. Before I could even reply however the real drama began. Arthur who had remained silent since Ragnok's order gripped Ron sharply by his neck as he turned him around, then he looked at Bill who understood what was happening and how necessary this was. Molly reached out to grab his hand and he slapped it away, as the tears slowly fell from her eyes. 'Aw, this is movie making material people.' I thought, wishing someone could see this as I was. My front seat was awesome as Hermione held my hand watching the action begin.
"Ronald. You and your actions are disgraceful, to do this to your best friend. Did you forget how he saved your sisters life? How he saved mine!" He roared at his son like a true Gryffindor lion, it was the first time I had actually seen Mr. Weasley truly mad, here I thought Molly was the disciplinary parent. Ron paled, though stood still against his father's wrath until of course, he continued. "I Arthur Weasley, Head of the Weasley House declare my youngest son, Ronald Billius Weasley to be cast out from the Weasley Family, to be marked out and cast adrift for his actions and dishonour on our name. Let his name be forgotten from the family books, his name be revoked, and his magic weakened. Let this be enough to repair the damage he has done to prevent further embarrassment and pain you have inflicted on your family. So, I say, so let it be, so smote it be." Arthur finished. The pain in his face hidden behind a stone mask, but his eyes, his eyes were washed with the pain of disowning his son. Molly gasped and held onto Ron, as Ginny wept for her brother or herself who knows? More importantly I focused on Ron, seeing the confusing flash across his face first, then the disbelief, before a moment of agony hit him and a tear began to form. But then came the anger and come it did as his face burst redder than I had ever seen, even more than his embarrassment after asking Fleur out.
I had to hand it to him, the emotions he shown as his face shifted were like world class acting, showing off how he could change at any moment to a potential director to hire him. Leaning over while Ron continued to grow in his rage, I whispered to Hermione. "Still think he has the emotional range of a teaspoon?" I asked, as she giggled at me and the memory of last year. Bad news, it was a mistake making Hermione giggle seeing as Ron turned his attention towards us and thought we were laughing at him, which we were, making him even more furious, though I don't know how he could be even more angry. Good news though, Hermione giggled at me. What can I say? It felt good to make her laugh so it was definitely worth it.
Ron's gaze met mine. I stared back at him as his eyes looked in mine and all I saw was hatred. He hated me. Clear like glass and barely hidden from view as a mirror could show. I became surprised when he didn't say anything to me, expecting a massive rant from him but he stood there, staring at me. Nothing else just staring. His gaze flickering to Hermione every once in a while, but still staring at me. It didn't bother me, it meant nothing. I took a moment to glance around the room, seeing Remus talking to Tonks for once and Narcissa talking to Andromeda. Dumbledore was locked in a simple yet clearly heated argument with the goblins, while Draco watched in on the Weasley drama like me. I wondered how Rita was taking all of this in, how would she word all of this to print it? Never mind I focused back on Mr. Weasley as he finished reprimanding Ginny, telling her to wait until after the reading for him to decide her punishment, as it was nearly worse than Ron's to degrade herself and the family name. Then Arthur turned to Molly. Molly Weasley, his wife, mother of his kids and one of the main reasons why he had lost so much today.
"Though I hope I will one day forgive Ginevra for her disgusting, degrading, dishonourable and humiliating behaviour Molly, I know I will never forgive you. For stealing from a boy, we have known for years and cared for like our own. For making him take potions to alter him and hid him from the truth with Dumbledore, those Molly are bad enough but maybe I could have forgiven those, I will never know. Using the kids though," He paused, looking Molly dead in the eye as his anger reigned in every part of his body but his eyes, curiously were emotionless. "You changed them Molly, you made them feel they should do this, that they could do this and helped them as they would do it. Why? Why would you make the kids become someone they aren't?" He continued asking her. At this point, the twins were in tears like Ginny, while Bill stood emotionless looking at his mother like his father and Ron just looked on in a constant stilled rage.
"Because it is what we deserve Arthur! You work so long to provide for this family and yet we have nothing. Is it too much to want a working boiler or a complete set of undamaged plates? No! Don't try to tell me otherwise, I did what I could for our family. We deserve the money, we deserve the recognition, we were once one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight for Merlin's sake! With Ginny having his child we could have had it all again, don't you see?" She told Arthur furiously passionate like she truly believed everything she had told him. Arthur agreed. What? Shaking his head, Arthur agreed with his wife and told her so.
"Yes Molly, we were part of the Sacred but now we are not! And we have to deal with that just like how, yes, it is too much to ask for plates or a boiler when you are stealing from a child! Have you no remorse woman? Do I see? Oh, I see clearly how Sirius was right. You are too far gone. You are no wife of mine." He finished speaking to her before announcing the same way as he did with Ron, how he turned her out of the family. Her face fell as she felt her magic being cut off from her family, she couldn't feel Ginny, the twins, Bill or even Charlie and Percy anymore it was just Ron. I think that frightened her, as she looked towards her youngest son with a small frown. I think she realised there and then how much she had sacrificed for so little, her whole family for money and position. Me and Hermione sat watching as she turned to Dumbledore, she demanded him to do something to which he tried to influence Arthur, who shook him away with a swift warning to never speak to him or his family again. Dumbledore looked to Molly and give her a little shake to show he couldn't intervene in family matters. Silently she sat back down, white as a ghost and muttering to herself plans to try and repair this, unfortunately her household charms like 'repairo' weren't cut out for this big of a mess.
A/N: And that's a wrap! For this chapter anyway not the scene, don't worry. I hope this affected you all emotionally or made you think of overall plot lines maybe. Please let me know what you thought or felt about reading this or if you just enjoyed it. Thank you.
