I know, the premise is hella cheesy and it's kinda obvious what Ryuuji is using the money for...if you don't know, you'll know in this chapter. LEGGO!

It's the day after Kitamura asked Ryuuji and Taiga to spend their break with him in America. 7:35, to be exact. After leaving a note for Yasuko about their plans, but promising to call her everyday, Ryuuji steps out the door, being careful not to wake Taiga, who is still sleeping.

In his pockets: 132.000 yen (around a thousand euro give or take). "That's definitely more than enough..." He says to himself proudly as he keeps walking to the nearest jewelry shop. He already choosed a certain piece of jewelry a few days ago but he only now has accumulated all the money.

"Good morning, I'd like to pay up...I asked for that item a few days ago." Ryuuji says as he gives the money to the vendor, who immediately smiles. "Ah, certainly..." He says as he takes the money, bringing out the ring in a box. It's prettier than Ryuuji has imagined: The ring doesn't have any sort of gem on it, but still, it was beautiful.

"Since generations, the Tiger and the Dragon have been the only beasts to walk alongside each other." This sentence perfectly describes the piece of jewelry, which has a dragon flying above a tiger imprinted on it.

He bought the ring and admires it once more, before he receives a call. "GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!-" An aggressive female voice shouts on the other line, which makes him jump and disconnect from the call, receiving another call immediately. "Hungry..." The Palmtop Tiger mutters as Ryuuji sighs. "Just was out buying something, I'll be back soon."

As he buys some more food, Ryuuji simply smiles to himself. "This'll definitely be the perfect opportunity." He whispers to himself, opening the door when suddenly:

"ORRRRYA!" The Tiger attacked, knocking the food out of Ryuuji's hands, but luckily the box with the ring is safe in Ryuuji's pocket. "You took too long, stupid mutt!" Taiga yelled as Ryuuji chuckles. "Hold on just a bit..." He says as Taiga simply sits back down at the table, giving Ryuuji the opportunity to hide the ring in his room.

After that, Ryuuji started cooking breakfast while Taiga was simply sitting there with an empty plate. ''Sooo...why were you gone that early?'' Taiga asks as Ryuuji sighs. ''Told you, I was out buying food.'', he says as Taiga cocks her head in confusion ''Before 9 A.M though?'' She asks as the dragon chuckles. ''Yeah, couldn't sleep.'' He answers, keeping his cool even though his secret was literally a few rooms away, not that the Palmtop Tiger would know.

After a while, the food, pork cutlets and miso soup, was ready and Ryuuji sat down across from his girlfriend. ''So, let me get this straight, the dumb chihuahua and Minorin are coming with us?'', she asks as Ryuuji nods. ''Yup. A reunion, so to speak. He was also talking about other friends, possibly we could get to know them too!'', Ryuuji says as Taiga groans and complains: ''But I can't speak English!'' is what she whines out, which makes her boyfriend chuckle and reassure her: ''Me neither, but, hey, we could learn it...there are tons of apps we could learn with.''. As he says that, Ryuuji scrolls through his phone, landing on a five star rated app. ''This one looks good!'', he says with a smile.

After breakfast, the day has been going on as usual. Ryuuji was cleaning the entire time and chatting with some of his co-workers as he always does during his free time while Taiga was teasing Inko-chan and watching TV while eating snacks. Meanwhile, Yasuko was sleeping soundly.

It's around 2 PM as Taiga suddenly jumps up. ''Crap, the plane is about to get here in a few hours, right?!'', she asks frantically as Ryuuji gasps. ''You're right!''. And with that, Ryuuji and Taiga grab their suitcases, getting everything they have in a frenzy, double checking really quickly, while being careful to not wake up Ryuuji's mother, of course, before they're out of the house.

Okay, this one was kind of rushed, but, hey, this is what I had in mind. I know there's the time zones and stuff when they get to America, but I'll manage it. Somehow.
