Prologue

Shigaraki stood atop a building, watching a young boy in curiosity. Said boy was currently cowering in fear as a wannabe hero threatened to beat him up. Shigaraki had been watching this boy for some weeks now, waiting for the moment the boys resolve fell and could be taken advantage of. He remembered the conversation with his master a few days ago.

"Master, I think I have found a Possible new member for the league."

"Do enlighten me"

"A young boy, who goes by the name Izuku Midorya. He can't be any older than 16, so still fairly young and very much impressionable. He's also quirkless."

"Tell me more"

"The boy dreams of being a hero, so if we wait for said dream to be crushed by a hero, he'll be ripe for the taking"

"I see. Good job Shigaraki. I would like to meet this young one myself, and give him…a gift, to ensure his mind stays with us."

That conversation was 4 days ago, and Shigaraki was still waiting. Then, everything went wrong. The boy was later cornered by a pair of villains, who with their combined quirks, sent the boy away in a rift. Shigaraki growled and jumped down to meet the two.

"Hello there"

The two jumped and turned to see who was there.

"Who are you!"

"Tomura Shigaraki at your service" he said, with a malicious grin and a bow.

"Isn't that the leader of the league of villains?" one said

"I think so" said the other

"So, you do know of me? Good. Now, you will tell me where you sent my to be new recruit?"

The two spluttered in surprise.

"You're trying to recruit a quirkless hero wannabe?"

The two laughed at this. Shigaraki sighed and walked closer to them. "Where did you send him." He growled, his outstretched hands creeping towards their necks. The two quickly started sweating.

"We don't know!" on finally cried. Shigaraki raised an eyebrow. "We really don't! when we combine our quirks we can send people to other dimensions or realities… we don't really know, but they are never seen again. We've attempted getting them back, but it never works!"

Shigaraki groaned. "you two morons just lost me a possibly very valuable recruit. My master won't be happy" he said with a malicious grin. He pulled out his phone and texted someone. Moments later a portal opened, and the two thugs were dragged through.

Izuku last remembered a couple of thugs cornering him, and when they didn't get what they wanted, seemed to combine their quirks, and open some kind of portal. Izuku was currently floating around, trying to not pass out. This inevitably failed, and unconsciousness took over.

Izuku awoke several hours later in a bed he didn't recognise for a moment. Then new and unfamiliar memories filled his head, scaring him. Then, what scared him further, is that some of his normal memories started to fade. The likes of his mom, local heroes, and his… friend… Bakugo. He desperately hung onto those memories for dear life, not wanting them to go. The universe seemed to hear this, as his more treasured memories stopped fading, and came back clear as day. Izuku let out a sigh of relief. He did notice that some of his new memories started changing. Ones where he was being directly called by his name no longer had an odd American name, and it changed to Izuku. Although, there was a different surname. Lake. He stuck his tongue out. Americans had such odd names. His thoughts where suddenly interrupted by a blaring alarm. "Hm? Oh school…" he muttered, slightly surprising himself. He sat up. "IZUKU LAKE! YOU BETTER BE GETTING UP!" a faintly unfamiliar voice rang out. Izuku sighed. "I guess this is my life now."

Then something in his new memories caught his attention.

Quirks didn't exist.
