Himiko was beautiful. Her features were very pretty, but sort of messed up. She's pretty messed up. Her ash blonde hair was long and done up in knots. Her yellow eyes had an unusual aura to them, as if someone had poured a gallon of sugar into them and the eyes glittered. Her body gave off an aura that was sharp and lovely, like a steel knife.
Today was her birthday, but she was alone. She was in her bedroom, within one of her safehouses sitting on the bed and staring at a blank white wall. Then she heard someone coming up the steps.
Himiko ducked into the corner behind the door. She would jump whoever was coming into the room.
The door opened and Himiko pounced on their back, but she immediately got thrown over the shoulder and she hit the floor with a thud. Himiko looked up into the green eyes of her guest.
"Izuku!?" Himiko couldn't believe the hero-in-training and her secret sort-of boyfriend (it's complicated) found her. "What are you doing here?"
"I want to celebrate your birthday with you," Izuku said. "But I can't stay long. I gotta meet up with my classmates later."
Was it my birthday? Himiko wasn't sure. When you're always on the run, days tend to blur together. Each moment could be her last, so she never thought about it, but Izuku sure did.
"I don't feel right not being with you tonight. I need to hold you, I want to give you the best birthday of your life," Izuku said.
"As long as I can spend my birthday with you, it already is the best," Himiko said.
They started off with some dancing. The radio played some kind of jazz music. It had a saxophone on it. The saxophone played this little wailing kind of song.
"Can you dance?" Izuku never thought about Himiko being a dancer.
"Do you think I'd be so nimble if I couldn't dance?" She laughed, but it sounded so strange. She smiled at him. "Come on."
Himiko wrapped her arms around Izuku, feeling her warm body against his. Himiko's face burned redder and redder as she moved her face closer to Izuku.
In the beginning, they just stood there, but soon they were swaying back and forth to the beat. And when they swayed, their faces became closer, so close that Izuku could hear Himiko's breathing. And just when he was about to lean in and kiss her, Himiko's cheeks had flushed, making her look even more adorable and Himiko gave Izuku a cute smile.
They both leaned in and closed their eyes and felt each other's warm breath. Both of them giggled.
Izuku leaned down and kissed her. Himiko gasped and grabbed hold of him, holding Izuku in place, as if she were afraid that if she let him go, she would lose him.
Himiko started kissing Izuku harder and harder. She was soon lost in the moment, trying to hold back her emotions and Himiko knew she was blushing even more. Himiko could feel the heat rising in her cheeks and her face was turning red with embarrassment, she knew she should stop, but all she could do was to keep kissing Izuku for as long as she could.
Soon enough, Himiko gently pulled away. "That, Izuku, was the best kiss I have ever had in my life."
I just wanna love, live and die my way. My normal way. I wanna be even more like the people I love. Himiko remembered what she said to Curious. She wonders if being with Izuku in this matter is the closest to normal she's ever going to get. On days like this, Himiko could pretend she wasn't a villain and Izuku wasn't a hero trying to take her down. She could just be a girl in love and celebrating her birthday with someone who cares about her.
"Can I have some blood?" Himiko looked at Izuku pleadingly.
"Of course, Himiko." Izuku stuck out her thumb. "Since it's your birthday, I whipped up something special in my blood."
Himiko gave an audible swallow, but her eyes roamed the nape of Izuku's neck. Normally she would use a syringe and drink out of it, but drawing straight from the vein appealed to Himiko more, especially if it was with Izuku. Himiko placed her hand on the back of Izuku's neck. "You sure, Izuku?"
"Himiko…" Izuku realized where Himiko was looking and craned his neck, exposing to signal his acceptance. "It's all right."
She nodded and leaned forward, planting her fangs into the flesh. Himiko let out a small, contented groan.
Izuku felt his blood flow into his mouth as her sharp canines scraped along his skin. He knew he would have to give it more attention after, but he couldn't bring himself to.
"Himiko, please. You shouldn't," Izuku said. She ignored him and sucked harder. It was almost more than he could take, like his blood was being drained into her. Izuku held himself firm, fighting back from the brink.
Izuku tried to move but found he couldn't because Himiko was pulling him into her, into the abyss, sucking his life away, until he couldn't remember anything but her.
He tried to scream, but no sound came. The only thing he could hear was his heart beating in his ears, growing in volume until it felt like his body would burst into flame. The next thing he knew, Himiko let go of his neck, her mouth dripping with blood. Izuku fell to the floor, his body limp.
"Himiko…what happened…" He tried to push himself up, but Himiko grabbed his hands and pushed them onto her chest.
"I'm not done yet." Her mouth was still wet with his blood, but her gaze was focused somewhere in the distance, her hair covered in blood.
"Himiko! Please, please stop, you're killing me," Izuku said.
She ignored him and closed her eyes. "Izuku, the more you resist, the more I want to do." He tried to pull away, but it was useless, he felt like his insides were being torn apart. "It's too late. I want to give you pain, Izuku, just like you gave me pain." She began to lick her fangs before slowly moving her fangs towards Izuku's neck. Himiko sucked harder.

"Izuku, where are you? Everyone else is already here," Ochako said on the phone.
"Oh sorry, just taking care of things in town. I'll be right there," Izuku said as he closed the apartment door and made his way to the train station.
