There were no more Darakn'a sightings for a long time. Sheena and Chris started a medical center and Cutter got most if not all of Chris's safari equipment and gear. Cutter Unlimited was a booming business, but without the draw of the Darakn'a, Cutter had to change his business strategy. He took down the posters, and was in search of something else to draw people into the LaMistas.

In the darkest corner of the LaMistas, there was a cave. There was blood on the walls, and a dead man. Standing over the dead man, was a Gabon man. The Gabon made a large howl that was heard reverberating through the cave. The Gabon man's claws then swiped at the dead man and ran off into the jungle. The dead man's body turned to reveal it was a Dr. Moreauton, and beside him, and empty test tube.

A dark car pulled up to the cave. A woman and some men came out. She signaled one of the men to go to the hut.

"It's gone, and so is Dr. Webster." The man said.

"Dammit!" the woman said. "We are going to have to do something so people won't find the evidence."

"It's pitch dark near here," one of her henchmen said, "Wouldn't it be better to leave it?"

"Fine," the woman said, "But go into the cabin and see if there are other vials."

The henchmen went and pulled out a sleeve of other vials.

"Good, now let's get out of here."

Matt Cutter had three poster designs, and the most that appealed to him was "See the wilds of Africa" and had tigers, lions, and zebras. They were all laying out on his desk. He was sipping coffee. Mendlesohn entered the room.

"Just pick one." Mendlesohn said, getting something from the bar.

"It just has to sell though." Matt said.

"Sex sells, Cutter," Mendlesohn said, still looking around at the bar, "you know how many times you've come back here dirty, sweaty, and shirtless?"

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying that you are the appealing one. People come to you because who doesn't want a sexy safari?"

"What if people want me to be shirtless for a safari in this jungle with this heat?" Matt said.

"How many times have your adventures rendered you that way?" Cutter gave Mendlesohn a look.

"True, but how many married men will not want to go safari with a man who is half naked in front of his "How many men will want to take off their own shirts to prove they are just as attractive as you?"

Matt gave Mendlesohn a look.

"Hey just thinking about the business."

Cutter contemplated this as he finished his coffee. He looked in the mirror and thought about it. As he began to unbutton his safari shirt, which was already sleeveless, the reserved safari party entered. He kept his shirt unbuttoned to the center of his chest. No one said a word to him as they left and they went on the safari tour.

Meanwhile, the woman and the henchmen were looking around, trying to find tracks and see what to do with the other potions.

"Look, we aren't going to find him unless he recognizes us. How do we know he isn't looking for our same boss to track us down?" one of them said.

"Because, we would have gotten a report back already."

"We still can't risk it."

Unbeknownst to them, the Gabon man was in the trees. He was eyeing the one carrying the potions. The one carrying them sat down to rest.

"Can we please take a minute?" the man said, putting the bag with the potions in them on the ground.

"We don't know where the monster is, we need to find him before he finds the boss."

The Gabon man led out a big howl. The woman looked up.

"What was that?"

The Gabon man jumped down from the trees and landed on one of the henchmen. The other henchmen pulled out their guns, one of them being a tranquilizer. The Gabon man snatched them away and swatted at them, knocking them out and going for the potion bag. The woman sucker punched the Gabon man to the ground.

"You will never get this!" the woman said. The Gabon man opened his claws and swatted the woman down on the ground before grabbing the potion bag. The other henchman shot at the Gabon man, but the Gabon man ducked.

"He has the right idea," one of them said, and each of the henchman pulled out a potion.

The henchmen drank all but two potions.

"No!" the woman said. "It's too soon!"

She watched as the henchmen around her turned to various jungle animal men. One was a cheetah. One was a panther. One was a lion. One was a bat, and even sprouted wings. They separated as a group and left the woman with the last two potions in her hand. She hid one of them.

"Come back!"

The bat man came back.

We will get the chemicals ourselves, with or without you."

The other animal men swarmed her. She took out her gun and shot. The animal men surrounded her. Gunshots were fired.

"Mr. Cutter, what is that?" a tourist said, hearing the gun shots.

"I don't know," Matt said, "but everyone should go back to my truck and don't open any doors."

Matt scoped the area before heading into the jungle. He looked everywhere he could around to see what was happening. There was a loud growl and Matt treaded more quickly. He didn't see the woman with the potion bag, looking terrified and scared running to Matt's right side. Matt looked up and she crashed into him, knocking them both down. When Matt opened his eyes, there was a woman resting on his chest.

"Are you okay?" Matt said, getting up.

"No, they are after me!" the woman said.

"Who are?"

"Violent men who betrayed me." The woman said.

Matt got up and helped her up.

"Come with me, you can hide with me."

Matt took the woman back to the truck with the tourists and drove back to Cutter Unlimited. The bat man looked as the truck left the area from a tree. The panther man was with him.

"We will have to pay a visit to Cutter Unlimited, won't we?"

"Maybe not." The bat man said.

Cutter dropped off the tourists and took the woman to Cutter Unlimited. Mendlesohn gave Matt a dirty look.

"Do you mind telling me who is after you?" Matt said, going to the bar to get a drink and buttoning up his safari shirt.

"People I used to work with. They betrayed me and were about to murder me, but I stunned them with this," she pulled out a taser gun, "and I fled."

"Okay," Cutter said with a whiff of sarcasm, "why are they after you?"

"They want to get to my boss first."

"Is it a life-or-death ordeal?"

"I didn't expect them to kill me, but if they are going to find what my boss is looking for, chances are, they aren't going to get it from me."

She pulled out two vials of potion.

"They aren't looking for anyone of these. One is the cure, and the other is what one scientist died for. My boss wants something more."

"I see," Matt said. "Well, good luck with that."

Matt pointed her towards the door.

"Look," the woman said, turning towards him, "let me call my boss. I know you run a lucrative business and you make deals for everything else. We can arrange something."

"I have a price like everyone and everything else," Matt said, taking her hands off of his shoulders, "I can make deals on the spot, but usually before the trip."

"I'll add $5,000 extra to what my boss will give you."

"Okay, let me point you towards a phone." Matt said.

In the meantime, Sheena and Chris were carrying shipments of chemicals into the new laboratory. Chris had the garage door open and the front room that was chemical storage. Sheena was researching a new food enhancement chemical that wasn't synthetic, but was meant to boost natural growth and redistribute nutrients into the soil. Chris brought in the last box and the garage door was shut. Chris turned around as if he felt something but when he turned around, there was nothing there. The bat man swooped over the center in a way no one would see him.

"Hopefully, this can boost natural growth instead of neutralize it."

The other animal men crept into the center.

"And this is a much better time than adventuring in the jungle." Chris said.

"I don't even miss being the Darakn'a." Sheena said.

Just then, the bat man crashed through the skylight, and threw Sheena down to the ground.

"Hey! What the…" Chris charged towards the man bat. The man bat opened its claws and swung at Chris, knocking him into bookshelves.

Sheena got up and started attacking the man bat. Soon the panther man and the lion man crashed through the walls and pulled Sheena off of the man bat and threw her towards a shelf of test tubes. Chris recovered to see the laboratory surrounded by animal men who were destroying everything. Chris charged at the lion man before the lion man growled and jumped on Chris. Sheena, recovered from the damage, went to Chris and pulled the lion man off of him. The lion man tore off Chris' shoulder from his shirt. The two started fighting off the animal men before the panther man grabbed Sheena and Chris and threw them at the wall.

"Found it!" the lion man said.

" Darakn'a," the bat man said, "I'd have to see it to believe it."

Sheena opened her eyes and saw the man bat fly out of the destroyed laboratory.

"Kali….Cutter.." she said, before she passed out.

At Cutter Unlimited, the woman got off the phone with her boss.

"He wants to meet you."

"Really? To hand the money to me directly?"

"He's at the closest beach. Do you have a bathing suit?"

"We are going swimming?"

"He just wants to see you."

"Okay, but he better have my money."

Matt went upstairs and got his swim trunks out and him and the woman left. Mendlesohn tended the bar. Just then, Kali came inside and turned on the television.

"Good to see you too, Kali." Mendlesohn said.

"I just heard about an attack in the Mitubi. I have to see if Sheena is okay."

The news broadcast came on with the headline "Attack in Mitubi."

"Sheena and Chris Keeger were stocking up on medical supplies as the new medical center opened its doors just five months ago. They were planning on bringing in newly graduated researchers. Today, they were attacked," Kali saw Sheena on a stretcher. "Chris Keeger describes what happened."

"We were just putting away from supplies and out of nowhere, we were attacked by a bunch of half-animal, half-human beasts. We don't know where they came from, but they destroyed over $5,000 of medical equipment and stole our supply of a dangerous chemical. I need to get my wife to the hospital." Chris sounded exacerbated.

Kali turned off the television.

"Where is Cutter?"

"He's off with a client."

"I need you to drive me to that hospital."

Mendlesohn left a note for Matt and drove Kali.

Cutter went with the woman to a coastal beach. Before she could get out of the car, she started taking Matt's shirt off.

"What's the rush?" Matt said.

"It's important my boss sees your physique. He doesn't trust scrawny types."

Matt let the woman take off his shirt and hat. Matt got out of the car and could hear the waves and saw no one was looking, as he changed into his swim trunks. He put his knife into his sandals though.

"What's your name?" Matt asked, closing the trunk of his truck.

"Jennifer," she said, "now come on!"

Matt and Jennifer walked along the beach a great distance until they came across a little alcove near the docks. A burly man came out of the shadows.

"Stop," the man put his hand on Matt's chest, "who is this?"

"Matt Cutter," Matt said, lowering the man's hand, "at your service."

"What happened to the others?"

Jennifer walked past him and signaled Matt to come. She put her hand up as two legs on a man sitting was visible.

"Who is this, Jennifer?"

"Someone who will help me find that chemical you wanted."

"And the others?"

"They betrayed me and stated they would get the chemical themselves, have they come to you?"

"No, they haven't."

"They will."

"Jennifer, of course they will, because I can't look like this too much longer."

The man stepped out of the shadows. The man was a Siberian tiger man. Matt stood away and remembered his knife.

Matt pulled it out and started charging at Jennifer's boss. The bodyguard punched Matt in the stomach and then punched Matt to the ground, throwing his knife away. Matt got up and tried fighting back, but the bodyguard grabbed Matt by the neck and threw him against a pole, which cracked.

"Stop this at once!" Jennifer said, looking at her boss.

"You found quite a fighter. Let's keep this going." The Siberian tiger man said.

Matt and the bodyguard were in a struggle with the bodyguard wrapping Matt in a tight grip. Matt grabbed the bodyguard and flung him over and the bodyguard knocked into another pole, which also cracked.

"Jennifer, I don't care if they find me. I know you have the cure. They just want my power and are trying to replicate it."

"They consumed the other potions. All of them are animal men now. Please, I have no where else to turn." Jennifer pleaded.

Matt was still fighting the bodyguard as poles around them kept cracking.

"Give me some of the cure. The rest will be used for them."

The bodyguard punched Matt in the stomach one more time and slapped him across the face.

"You're good for a new recruit."

Jennifer took out the vial and gave a little to the Siberian tiger man. Suddenly, the abandoned dock's roof started falling in. Matt grabbed Jennifer just as she was putting the top on the vial and the two dove into the ocean as the structure collapsed. The two came up for air. Jennifer checked her body. She still had the bag of vials, and was still holding onto the one with the cure.

"Thank God!" Jennifer said, before throwing a kiss on Cutter.

After they kissed, Matt looked onto the wreckage.

"Do you think they made it out?"

Jennifer just swam towards the shore. Cutter followed. The two got on shore and got back to Cutter's truck. Cutter had a towel and dried himself off before putting his clothes back on. Jennifer watched him get dressed.

"We need to find the other animal men, Cutter. They may be searching for the chemicals themselves."

"Okay. Let's start out in the jungle tomorrow. You can stay with me in the meantime."

"Thank you."

When they got back, Cutter read the note Mendlesohn left. It read: "Sheena's in the hospital. I left with Kali. Turn on the news to catch up."

Matt turned on the television as Jennifer was getting her things into Cutter Unlimited.

"My friend is in the hospital."

Cutter turned on the news.

"A scientific lab was attacked earlier today in the Mitubi region. While the assailants are unknown at this point, Sheena Keeger remains in the hospital from the injuries. Her husband, Chris, said: 'We don't know who did this. We are just people trying to make a difference, and thousands of dollars of medical research has been destroyed. My wife is not in critical care, but resting, but who would do this?'"

Matt paused and put his head down that he wasn't there when Mendlesohn and Kali left for the hospital.

"In other news, a dock collapsed today on the beach. There were no people on top of it, but underneath the rubble, two men were found. The names are unknown. A struggle looks suggested, but there were no witnesses. Back to you."

Jennifer came in with clean clothes as the news report ended.

"Are there any other medical research facilities in the area?" she asked.

"Not for region's away," Matt said, "why do you ask?"

"The other animal men are behind the attack on your friend. They were looking for chemicals. My boss is dead. It is up to me."

"I'm going with you." Matt said.

At the hospital, Kali, Chris, and Mendlesohn were by Sheena's bedside. Chris was pacing left and right. Kali looked to Sheena, sleeping soundly with her head bandaged. Mendlesohn was looking at the clock.

"I would think Cutter would be here by now," Chris started, "Instead he's parading around a client."

"Cutter doesn't take to bad news well," Mendlesohn said, "He tends to go off, but he'll come around."

"You could have more patience," Kali said, "Sheena is not in critical condition and Cutter will get here when he can."

"I just don't know how we can repay for all that damage. I don't know how we'll rebuild after this."

"I know Chris," Kali said, putting her hand on his back, "you will. Sheena will recover and the medical center will come back."

Just then, the phone rang.

"If it's another reporter, hang up." Chris said, signaling to Mendlesohn.

"If it's another reporter, more money might come in to repair the damages," Mendlesohn said, picking up the phone on cue. "Hello?"

"Hey Mendlesohn," Matt said on the other end of the line, "Is Chris there?"

"Sure," Mendlesohn put the phone down, "It's for you Chris."

Cutter was in his office. Jennifer was sleeping in the room upstairs. He was waiting for Chris to pick up.

"Yes Cutter?" Chris asked.

"How's Sheena?"

"Sheena's recovering. She is bandaged in the head and is sleeping now."

"Good. I know who attacked you and destroyed your lab. I am going with someone who is tied to them to find your attackers."

"What are you saying?"

"You might not believe me, but you were attacked by animal men who want to stay forever animals, but have no access to the chemicals that can keep them that way. Their boss used to be a tiger man but transformed back. He died in a dock collapse this past afternoon. I know I can't be there, but I wanted to let you know I'm going to find them and try to return those chemicals for you."

"Okay, I appreciate that, Cutter. Good luck."

Cutter looked at his favorite Darakn'a poster, and went to bed.

The next day, Jennifer was up as Cutter was putting on his blue safari sleeveless over his white tank top and was by his phone.

"Who did you call last night?" she said.

"My friend's husband who is in the hospital, why?"

"My boss comes from a bigger network, who is to say that your call isn't being traced?"

"I used to be in the CIA, and I know my phone isn't."

"Okay."

Cutter went to check on the jeep. The panther man was in the window and signaled to her. She went to the window.

"I think he's onto us." The panther man said.

"I'll get him near the deep mud pits," Jennifer said, "if he comes out alive, I have this."

She took out the other vial.

"Isn't that for you?"

"No, what you are collecting is for me."

Cutter came back in.

"Ready to go?"

The panther man turned around and hid in the covering.

"Sure!"

The panther man went to the back of Cutter Unlimited and into the jungle. Matt and Jennifer went into Matt's jeep and they drove to the Mitubi/LaMistas border.

Back in the hospital, Sheena woke up to see the rest of her family sleeping. She didn't know where she was nor what happened to her, but her head did hurt. She saw a bird in the window and looked into its eyes. She couldn't transform as she used to. She was wondering if she was losing her Kaian connection. Kali opened her eyes to see Sheena awake too.

"Are you okay Sheena?"

Sheena started to cry.

"Kali, I feel I am losing touch with Kaian energy. I can't transform into an animal."

"Sheena, you are in a hospital bed. You need to continue recovering."

"Kali, before we were attacked, I told Chris I don't miss being the Darakn'a, but I do. We wouldn't have been attacked if I was."

"Sheena, you can't prevent what you can't predict. You can tell Chris. In the meantime, Cutter is on it."

"He is?"

"Yes, please rest some more. I'll be here when you awake."

Sheena went back to sleep.

Matt and Jennifer got to the border. They got out of the jeep and started walking. Jennifer was leading the way.

"Have you been in the Mitubi region before, Mr. Cutter?"

"Not as much as I would like. My friend and her husband live in the region. I don't know my way around as much as I would like to, though I have had a couple border adventures."

"I am sure they are fascinating. Have you heard of the Mitubi mud pits?"

"Just that a trek there could kill you. I've heard that the mud is viscous and thick. Where do you think these animal men are hiding?"

"Well, they could be anywhere, so we need to scope the region. As long as no one takes the vials I have, the better."

"Okay."

The two walked a great distance through the mountains, taking needed rest breaks here and there. Jennifer and Matt got to an area within a half hour's distance from the actual mud pits.

"How did you get involved with these animal men anyway?" Matt asked, wiping his brow with his wrist before putting on his safari hat.

"Oh, you know, how else do people get involved with a crime syndicate? Money and codependence."

"Money and codependence?"

"Well, yes, I had to make a living. I was a pickpocket for a while. A syndicate found me after I tried to steal from my now deceased boss, and took me in."

"What will giving your formers the cure does for you then? I make a dollar every chance I get, but what is your interest here?"

"If I cure them, I will be their boss now. They just need to be reminded of who is in charge."

"I see."

"Are you going to ask more questions or are we going to keep going?" Jennifer said.

Back at the hospital, Sheena opened her eyes and saw Chris, Mendlesohn, and Kali there to greet her.

"Honey, are you okay?" Chris said.

The television was on in the back.

"I'm fine, Chris. I hope I am doing better medically."

"You are. The doctor said in a few hours, if you are well enough, we can go home."

"Chris, there is something I have to tell you." Sheena nodded at Kali.

"Mendlesohn, I think it's time you headed back to Cutter Unlimited. Chris can take me home once Sheena is fully recovered."

"Are you sure?"

Kali and Mendlesohn left the room. The television was still on.

"Chris, I am sorry I couldn't protect you when we were attacked."

"It's okay, honey. I wasn't injured."

"No, but the medical facility is damaged."

"That's not your fault."

"If I was the Darakn'a, I could have saved it all."

"Sheena, you can't pull the Darakn'a out in time to have saved me or the facility."

"I woke up earlier today and I saw a bird in the window. I looked into its eyes, and I couldn't transform. Kali told me to recover, but I felt I was losing my Kaian connection. I can't lose that. I need to protect the jungle as much as I need to protect you."

"I understand."

"Then why do I feel I need to ask your permission to be the Darakn'a again?"

"I don't know, Sheena. I've had my petty jealousies and you have made a life for yourself here. I keep your jungle outfit in the back of our vehicles just in case. Would you like me to keep a vat of mud and your claws nearby for when you have to take care of the jungle?"

"I would appreciate that. I love you and I just want to protect you."

"Okay. You can become the Darakn'a anytime you want to, but first, we have to get you well and the medical facility back up and running."

"I love you." Sheena signaled a kiss and Chris and Sheena kissed.

"I have to go see about Kali and Mendlesohn."

Sheena smiled as Chris left. She looked at the television and turned the volume up.

"Dr. Moreauton was found dead this morning in an abandoned hut in the north Mitubi mountains today. Investigators are reporting a possible animal attack, as a streak of blood on the wall next to the corpse signaled an animal attack. 'It's weird,' said the local lieutenant, 'the attack looks like an animal but all we can see is human footprints.' Investigators are inconclusive as local residents are trying to piece together the events of the past two days. 'it's like animorphs or something. Animal people are behind the weird stuff from the medical facility attack to the dock collapse and now this.'"

"Cutter." Sheena said.

Matt and Jennifer were by the mud pits. The mud pits weren't hot or steaming, but were remnants of a former lake with deep pools of mud as thick as molasses. The two treaded cautiously during the first round, as elevations leveled the areas. The elevations weren't high, and there was jungle in areas.

As they were walking, there was a rustle in the trees and something flew over them. Matt and Jennifer looked up and Matt pulled out his handgun. The two were pacing gradually, as the rustling felt closer and closer.

"I think we're getting close." Matt said, angling his handgun.

"I'll pull out the vials now." Jennifer said.

The minute she moved her sack with them in it, the panther man, the lion man, and the cheetah man fell down from behind and started attacking them. Matt quickly dodged the panther man who he elbowed in the stomach. Jennifer fought off the cheetah man. The lion man suckerpunched Matt down on the ground and close to the edge. Matt's hat fell down but Matt recovered by taking the butt of his gun and knocking the lion man in the face. Matt was about the charge the panther man, but the Gabon man jumped from behind Matt and pushed Matt down to the ground before the Gabon man opened his claws and swiped at Matt's collar, tearing it slightly. Matt dodged it and kicked the Gabon man down on the ground before punching the Gabon man in the face. The lion man and the panther man were attacking Jennifer. Matt pulled the panther man from her and the lion man growled a mean growl before swiping at Matt's top buttons, exposing his white tank top more. The panther man grabbed Matt by the neck and carried Matt on the edge of the elevation towards a mud pit.

"Jennifer!" Matt said, naming for help.

Jennifer brushed herself off and walked over with the lion man.

"Mr. Cutter, what a fool you are. Don't see this was all a ruse? Now I am the boss and my animal men got the chemicals for all of us to be animal people and take whatever we want."

Matt struggled with his legs, as the panther man gripped Matt harder.

"Shame about your friend. I am sure the chemicals from her laboratory will seal the deal," She walked over and put the antidote vial in Matt's pocket. "See you!"

The panther man let go of Matt and Matt fell into a deep mud pit. There were some air bubbles, but they popped one by one.

Chris and Kali returned from the hospital room to find Sheena gone. Chris found a note.

"I'll be right back. I have to change."

"She went after Cutter."

"We need to find her and bring her back here." Chris said, impulsively.

"She'll return."

The last air bubble popped in the mud pit. Jennifer and the animal men went on, back to the abandoned laboratory a mile from the mud pit. The bat man was in one of the adjoining jungle space on top of a tree, looking down where Matt fell.

All of a sudden, Matt came up for air. He was covered in mud as his safari shirt and white tank top was covered in it. Matt breathed heavily and trying to get the vicious mud out of his throat and try to get out as the mud was pulling him back in. He waved his arms out before finding the rocky edges where he grabbed on and gradually climbed out. He was dripping mud and collapsed on the ground to cough it all out of his system. His clothes were heavier from the mud, and as he was still dripping, he stood up. Before he could compose himself, the bat man flew down and threw Matt to the ground.

Matt could barely see but pulled out his dirty knife and tried to stab the bat man, but to no avail. Finally, the bat man grabbed the knife and threw It into another mud pit. Matt tried going there, but the bat man skidded past Matt's muddy shirt. The bat man swatted Matt and then picked him up by his claw feet and carried Matt to an abandoned laboratory.

Matt opened his eyes to see himself chained by his arms and his legs.

"Mr. Cutter, I see you survived."

"Why are you doing this?" Matt said.

"Because in order to not have witnesses, one has to hide evidence, and while the antidote didn't drown with you, you will have to become one of us." When Jennifer came into the light, she was a hyena person.

She opened an orange vial and put it into a syringe. Matt started tugging but the stickiness of the metal with the wetness from the mud made it near impossible to move.

"This is what my animal men made. We don't know what you'll be, but the antidote is lodged in your muddy pockets."

Matt tugged before the panther man and the lion man came and held down his arms and legs. Then, the cheetah man walked over and found the antidote in Matt's pocket. The cheetah man, for good measure, opened his claws, swiped Matt, and collected Matt's muddy shirts. Matt was still wet and dirty from the mud pit.

Jennifer opened the vial and drew closer. The panther man forced Matt to open his mouth. There was a howl heard from outside.

"What was that?" the panther man said.

The howl grew nearer.

All of a sudden, a being crashed through the glass of the laboratory and threw the animal men around like rag dolls. Jennifer ran to Matt, but before she could pour the vial on him, the being grabbed Jennifer and threw her out the window and there was a loud splash. A couple of the animal men recovered but the being clawed, punched, kicked, and knocked them all out. All of a sudden, the being came in front of Matt. Matt recognized the boots. It was the Darakn'a. The other animal men incapacitated, the Darakn'a unchained Cutter and grabbed him by his side and jumped out of the abandoned laboratory. Matt dropped the antidote on the way out. The Darakn'a carried Matt all the way to his truck, but then left immediately.

After a couple of hours, Matt drove to the hospital. When he arrived, Sheena was being wheeled out.

"Sorry I'm late!"

"Cutter, you are not. I have my strength back." Sheena said.

"Yes, she does. She was scheduled for a physical today, but we let the doctor know she was resting, and she is safe to go home."

"Good."

"I wonder about the medical facility," Chris said, "I hope we can bounce back."

"I am sure you will."

Just then, Mendlesohn came to a screech and ran up to where everyone else was standing.

"You aren't going to believe this, but people around the facility chipped in, and here you go!"

Mendlesohn handed Chris a whopping check.

"This should be more than enough." Chris said.

"We can rebuild."

Sheena looked to the jungle.

"We can rebuild."
