Sakura walked into the large classroom eyes trailing from the chalk board to the desks scattered around the room. Her steps were sure and confidant as Sakura strutted towards the teachers desk. Her beloved teacher didn't look up at her when she leaned over his desk, purposefully ignored the top of her uniform being unbuttoned. Sakura snickered and plucked the small red pen from his hand only discouraging when he still didn't look at her as he simply reached for a second pen.

"Kaka-sensei," Sakura purred as she leaned further over his desk, one arm tucked under chest in hopes of showing off more chest than she actually had as she did her best to make sucking on the end of a pen look attractive.

Kakashi still didn't look at her and instead started checking parts on the paper before him, the red growing increasingly on the page. "I'm busy, Haruno." She could hear the strain in his voice, she smirked slyly at him. He could ignore her all he wanted, she was very patient and loved a good game; she was honestly surprised he hadn't figured it out sooner. Either way, Kakashi was never any good at denying his favorite student, even her other classmates could tell she was the favorite. Sakura placed the pen on the desk and laughed into her hand, if only her classmates knew what went on behind closed doors!

Just thinking about her friends sitting in the very desks her teacher had loved her on made her excited; Sakura stood straight up and slowly slide her hands down the middle of her torso, her figures working easily to undo three more buttons.

"It won't work, Sakura." He chided softly, the husky tone of his voice contradicting his words. Sakura fought the sly smile of excitement, it was wrong of her to love how much Kakashi fought with himself over her.

"Then why aren't you look at me?"

"Because I'm grading." Sakura's eyes danced over Kakashi and her eyes glazed over with hunger.

"Why are your hands under the table?"

He looked up at her and inhaled a deep breath the motion of his hands beneath table slowing. Kakashi watched as her smile grew knowing he was taking in everything that she offered and once again tried to fight against the sicking feeling deep and low in his gut. She always loved when he tried denying himself of her, he was a very honorable man, her sensei. Sometimes after a long and loving night spent together he wouldn't even look at her the next morning; even once explaining to her his feeling of taken advantage of her. Sakura remembered how hard it had been when he had fought against Sakura on them separating. Even with all her nonchalance and teasing Sakura really did love Kakashi and no matter how many times she told him he brushed it off as a young girls crush. With how much Kakashi denied, hurt himself over her, fought against the part of his heart telling him he was wrong Sakura suspected he lover her, too.

Sakura watched as his hands fidgeted underneath the table before Kakashi scooted his chair back and knocking it into the chalk board. "You're going to miss lunch," Kakashi said in fruitless attempt in changing the subject.

"Don't play like that, Kaka-sensei." Just for emphasis Sakura took a deep breath, "I can smell the food you bought." Sakura couldn't sneak away from her friend group often but when she did Kakashi had always bought lunch for the two of them. Not that they had time to always eat but he still bought it.

Kakashi stood in front of Sakura and slowly started fixing her school uniform. "Like I said, you're going to miss lunch." Sakura jumped at the shocking knock at the classroom door and not seconds after Kakashi stepped away from her a woman entered. She didn't look nearly as shocked as Sakura did, "Hello, Rin."

She smiled with gentleness and Sakura couldn't help the rage she felt bubbling, "Sorry Kakashi. I didn't realize you were still teaching."

Watching the two interact was heart wrenching; Sakura could tell the two had a past the spoke of more than just friends. The way Kakashi walked to Rin and wrapped her in a hug made Sakura jealous because not once had Kakashi ever held her so tenderly. Not once had Sakura ever heard of this woman, not that Kakashi made a habit of telling Sakura anything about himself at all. Was this his girlfriend? His wife? A past flame starting to rekindle? Sakura didn't know and it drove her crazy! Her hurt was pounding, her grew blurry, and her palms started sweating.

"You're fine," Kakashi said with an easy smile, "my student was just heading back to lunch." His student. Kakashi wouldn't even say her name.

Rin's smile faltered as she looked at what Sakura was sure was a distressed teenager being thrown to the side. Rin took a step forward as Kakashi trained his steal eyes on Sakura, Rin asked, "Are you alright?"

Sakura forced a smile as she clenched her first behind her back, "Perfectly."

Kakashi frowned at Sakura and said, "Don't be rude."

Rin snapped at him, "Kakashi!"

Sakura felt the tears start to fall before anyone could see she ducked her head and exited the room as fast as she could. As she rushed down the hall she could hear Rin chastising Kakashi and Kakashi brushing it off as simple teenage emotions. Why would Sakura ever assume she would be taken as anything but a joke? Tsunade had always tried to warn Sakura about uncaring men and she should have listened! Sakura slammed into the empty restroom, tears streaming down her face as she made herself comfortable on the inside of a stalls floor. How had she gotten so emotionally involved to be sitting on a disgusting bathroom floor?

Sakura sat there on the floor what had to have been five minutes, she talked to herself and did her best to make everything okay again. With one deep breath and reassuring thought after the next and again she was standing on her own two feet. She stepped out of the stall and ignored Kakashi standing in the corner, Sakura stepped in front of the bathroom mirror and fixed herself to once again be one of the schools most outstanding students. Sakura sighed in annoyance, "I thought you loved me."

"I never told you I did."

"I know," she admitted, "wishful thinking we felt the same."

Sakura still didn't look at him, "You love me?"

Sakura was silent for a minute as she thought her answer over. Did she love him? "Would it even matter if I did?"

Just when Sakura was about to give up on an answer Kakashi spoke and once again her world was turned upside down, "It would."
