As the pair sat quietly in the waters of the oasis with a moment to assess all that had happened, X could feel his mood shift away from happy and carefree to sad and distraught. The ancient demon holding him in his lap as they relaxed on the rocks beneath the water's surface could feel the change in the human boy's moods. "What troubles you, my little pharaoh?" X sniffled, already wiping away a few tears. "So much has happened..I've barely had a moment to let it sink in..I lost my home and my parents..I ran into the desert..I found myself under the care of a demon..I turned down a new home from one of my father's associates to remain in the demon's care..but I lost that demon..I'm starting to wonder if I've made the right choices on my own.." The hands of Zero's menacing wings reached around X, wiping away X's tears with their claws. "I may not know this feeling myself. Mayhap I can relate. I did not know my parents, alas demon parents often do not care for their children. I, as well, rushed away from impending danger without much time for thought. Alas, before I had time to absorb what had transpired, I found myself guarding these ancient structures. Your situation is similar to my own in many ways. I too was frowned upon by the others around me, all the more a boon to my decision to leave the Underworld. Mayhap I can correct you on one thing? You may have lost said demon. Fate said you could have the demon back. Might you be able to give the demon the key to his immortality, he will be at your side forever more. And even, pass his immortality to you. This demon fears for your life as well as the chance that he may fall again."

X looked back to the redhead demon behind him. "Why don't demons care for their young? You fear that death will come for you again? Pass immortality..to me? Would you really do that, Zero? I thought demons yearned to be all powerful and immortal." Zero nodded. "Your first question. It is not in our nature to care for our children. We let them figure things out. Yes, though this hunch tells me I may be wrong this time. I would share my immortality with you, should I gain it. This will not harm me. When I carry a working gene for immortality, I will be able to transfer it by my fluids, be it blood, saliva, or sperm. A glow will show on one I pass it to and we would live to eternity together. We do indeed yearn for power and immortality, some moreso than others." X paused for a moment. "I can't say I like such a standoff way of raising children, Zero. What if we somehow managed to have children? Would you let them figure things out on their own too?" Zero smirked. "It does not mean that since I may be a demon, I should let such treatment befall my own offspring if ever I have any. Children with you? Mm, in my eyes, such children would be treasures. I would make sure nothing bad happens to them." X was surprised at Zero's words. "You would help take care of them? You'd be a great father. I just..I don't know if I've made the right choices. I mean, they feel right, but some of the others seem like I made the wrong move." Zero grinned a little. "Of which choices are you second guessing?" X sighed. "Being born, running away into the desert, rejecting Wily's offer to live with him." Zero chuckled, gently taking X's hands. "Being born is something we have no control over. Running away, you were atuned to your survival instincts so it was all you knew to do. This, human or demon, is normal. I dare not say his name as I feel he is not to be trusted. That researcher saw you as more of an object than a person. If you saw, he was reluctant to stand back and let you choose between me and him. I cringe to think what might have become of you, had you chosen him. In ernest, I feel your choice was wise. Those other two you fret so about, are beyond your control."

X turned around towards Zero and hugged him tightly with a sniffle. Zero hugged X tightly back with both wings and arms. "This experience has been hard and chaotic for you. This I understand. As was my own." X nodded. "I'm glad you understand. Please, stay with me, Zero. Demon or not, I want your love, your protection, your care. I want you. I know it sounds selfish." Zero chuckled. "Alas, I want you as well. Hold your promise to me and I will be at your hips for eternity." X gently leaned Zero back against the banks of the water. He gently pushed Zero's upper body and head as far back as Zero could reached. Zero groaned contently, resting his upper body and head on the short grasses beyond the water. "Mmm..I do not view your wanting me as selfish. You are but the one to want me. I find more of a sense of what happiness is when I am at your side." X blushed, watching him. "How I bring you a sense of happiness is beyond me. I couldn't seem to do it for anyone else." Zero smirked. "I see things differently. I already knew that you were different. I sense things by aura and then smell. Last comes vision. That is how I knew of your relation to Hatshepsut. You would make for a very humble pharaoh, had the dynasties lingered after the sheningans with Rome and Cleopatra. It is a shame." X tilted his head. "That's another thing I've meant to ask you. How do you know the pharaohs?" Zero chuckled. "With each new ruler set upon the throne, I was sent to the palace to meet them. As you well know, many of them did not know what to think of me with very few showing me mercy or pity. Cleopatra was more cold and calculating than Hatshepsut. She did not relieve me of my duties. Though, it is worth noting Cleopatra was not Egyptian. Not of mother Egypt. I could never expect a foreigner to understand my case." X kept his gaze on Zero. "But..I'm no full Egyptian either. Cleopatra was Greek. My father was English and my mother was Egyptian." Zero chuckled more. "I never said you have to be full Egyptian. You are related to a queen who was full Egyptian far back in ancient times. Remember, I am not even from this surface world. Yet, I experienced the majority of the dynasties of Egypt." X smiled. "Egypt has become your home. You're the most Egyptian creature I know."

As the two soon got out of the water and shook themselves dry, X couldn't help but notice Zero's black length was fully hard. A sharp tip with a large opening poked out of his usually overhanging foreskin. X got very hard at the sight, drooling cum already. Zero happened to notice X's fullness too. "Mayhap you see something you like?" X nodded. "Your treat..he's so hard and full..He must be at least two feet in length.." Zero nodded back. "His usual hardness is 18 inches..Fully hard like this he is 2 feet." X came closer, admiring Zero's fullness. "He looks so good." Zero brought his sharp tip to X's mouth, teasing X's lips. X took Zero's tip into his mouth, sucking Zero hungrily. Zero groaned erotically, watching X's hardness leaking cum. X took Zero deeper, able to fit half of Zero's fullness in his mouth, sucking him more. Zero didn't last long, cumming several large loads into X's mouth. More cum leaked from X's tip and foreskin, dribbling down his shaft. X kept sucking Zero hungrily for a while before letting go with a slurp and pop. "Mmm..thank you for letting me suck your wood. He is very tasty." Zero nodded. "Any time. I want to suck yours." He got on his knees and took X's length whole, cleaning X's foreskin and tip of cum as he sucked him hard. X moaned, slowly thrusting his hips. Zero sucked him more, enjoying X's length in his mouth and throat. X quickly shot several loads of cum down Zero's throat with a scream. Zero swallowed every last drop, sucking him more for a while before letting him go with a slurp. "Hahh..you certainly have some tasty royal wood. You taste like strawberries." X giggled. "I love strawberries. Yours tastes like dates. I love those too." Zero smirked as he stood back up. "Interesting. Any other food you are accustomed to that you long for? If I have seen them before, I can provide them." X nodded. "Blueberries. And maybe some bananas." Zero grinned. "Remind this evening and I will provide them. Mayhap they might help your treat grow." X giggled. "That would help. Compared to you, he's so tiny. He's 6 inches." Zero chuckled. "I hear that is a decent size for human lengths." X nodded. "What about demons?" Zero smirked again. "This is the fun part of being a demon, as most male demons may say. The length of a demon can become any size. In some, their lengths do not stop growing." X blushed. "Might you be one of those?" Zero shook his head. "I do not think so. My length has stayed at 18 to 24 inches since I was in my early 20s. I think he is done growing. Yours, might I not be mistaken, still has growing to do. I do enjoy the thought of having more of you to play with." He gently kissed X's tip and foreskin. "I shall help with that all I can." X blushed brightly. "Thank you."

X crawled onto Zero's back once Zero's loincloth was on. Zero's old unhealed wounds had been replaced by the base of Zero's wings and their webbing. X smiled, gently touching them. Zero's joints and wings muscles felt firm while his webbing was as smooth as silk. "I'm sure its been a very long time since you last flew." X remarked. Zero nodded. "Yes. When I arrived here compared to now, my wings were a fraction of this size. I believe Isis and Osiris have given my wings their adult form instead of juvenile from when they were torn off." Zero stretched his wings outwards, showing a very wide wingspan of black webbing with red intricate marks on them. X watched in awe. "Its almost like you have flickers of flame on your wings and your wingspan is so large. I bet you could kick up a sandstorm without effort." Zero giggled as he slowly lifted both of them into the air. "Perhaps."

When the first three pyramids had been checked alongside a temple and shrine, the two stepped out of the Red Pyramid and into a sandstorm. "Another sandstorm?" X tilted his head, keeping against Zero's back tightly. Zero shrugged. "They are rather common in the desert. I have endured many." X coughed a little. "How? This one is fierce." Zero smirked and exhaled a long breath of shadows, forming a shield around them. "Observe." X couldn't see anything around them now. "I can't see a thing, but at least the sand isn't hitting us anymore." "Press your head close to mine. I shall show you all I see." Zero advised. X did as he was told, pressing his cheek against Zero's. "Like this?" Zero nodded. "Yes. My eyes are meant to see in the dark, alas I can share what I see with another telepathically." All soon became clear for X. He could see the oasis and the other two pyramids even in the harsh sandstorm. "Thank you. I was starting to feel a little scared." Zero snuggled X's cheek. "You are safe as long you are on my back." X clung harder to Zero. "Can you fly in these conditions?" Zero paused. "That I cannot do. I must stay on the ground in these storms."

The redhead trekked towards the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx carefully. X held onto Zero tightly. Zero's shield stayed strong as Zero moved. He could swear he was sensing another presence. "Another being is out here. It feels like a human." X grew worried. "Who besides us would be out in a sandstorm? I would hope its not Wily." Zero gently shook his head. "It is not the same presence as that absurd fool. This one..I believe this one is a female." X kept tight against Zero. "Can you see her then?" Zero shrugged. "Not visually. Though, I can see but the body heat one gives off. The presence is close to the Sphinx."

Zero found a long haired brunette girl just before the Sphinx in the sandstorm. X watched what Zero showed him carefully. "No..I recognize her. Her name is Iris. Her brother is a local cop or a law enforcer to you. What on earth is she out here for? And in such weather?" Zero shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine. Let us at least get her to shelter until the storm passes so that she might come to her senses." The redhead carefully lifted the collapsed girl into his arms and carried her and X inside the Sphinx. He lit a few closeby torches for light before he carefully propped the girl up against a nearby wall, sitting down near her. X crawled off Zero's back and into Zero's lap. "Is there anyone you think she's related to?" Zero nodded. "She is a descendant of Cleopatra. That much I can tell. Otherwise, she looks to me like a female counterpart of you." X chuckled. "Many in Cairo asked if we were related. Her brother often answered that question firmly and quickly. We're not related at all." Zero nodded. "You cannot be related to them. Your ancestor is Hatshepsut. She is kin to Cleopatra. Cleopatra was Greek. You come from different lines."

Before X could answer, the boys heard voices and footsteps approaching. Another redhead male clad in black held a torch, leading the way. X could make out the shapes of Wily and the researchers they had encountered before behind him. "Who goes there?" The man asked as the group drew closer. Neither of the boys answered. The man blinked when he saw X. "Wait..I know you. You're Xavier Light of Cairo. You've been missing for some time. One of these researchers is attempting to take custody of you." X slowly stood from Zero's lap, turning towards the group. Zero's barrier of shadow disappeared as he looked back at X in concern. X slowly stepped towards them. "I'm aware that one of the researchers wants to be my godfather. But I don't trust him at all." The man with the torch shook his head. "You can't be out here in the desert by yourself. You won't survive." Zero quietly stepped closer behind X. "He shall not be alone in the desert." X felt the hands on Zero's wings encase him in their webbing and Zero's hands holding his sides. The man with the torch tilted his head slightly. "Who might you be? Some kind of demon? Have you cast a spell on Xavier to make him think he can survive here?" Zero shook his head. "You are correct in part. I am a demon, an ancient one by your terms, alas this decision of his is of his own free will. Spells are not the shenaningans of demons. You must be thinking of witches and warlocks." The man with the torch shrugged. "Its all the same to me. Do you realize you could be charged with kidnapping in this situation? X is only a child. If you're ancient as you claim, you can also be written off as a child molestor."

Zero tilted his head. "Oh? Everything is related to age in this case? The way you and his self proclaimed godfather word it tells me that because he is still growing, you truly believe that the boy is incapable of critical thinking and incapable of making his own I believe to be absolute rubbish. Age does not equal experience. Not all children nor teenagers are alike. There are always at least one or two, mayhap more to step away from the crowd. I was one of those and I have found another, of this I am certain." X was moved by Zero's speech. The man with the torch and the researchers were silent, looking at each other in confusion. X looked back at Zero. 'That was beautiful, Zero. You're so wise and insightful.' Zero grinned. 'It is merely a fact of life. There will always be exceptions to any rule or norm any society sets in place. No two beings are precisely the same, they will have their differences. As for you, the more you are with me, the more I can read and atune to you. I know there is a sharp mind and a gentle heart in you. You seem to let your heart show more, though. I feel this could be dangerous. Some in this world, and many below, can use a kind heart to their advantage and use you in turn.' X smiled. 'I don't know how to control that part. You hide a gentle heart too. Though you're much better at safeguarding it than me.' Zero snuggled X softly. 'Once one knows who truly wants to stand and protect them, one finds it easier to know who to trust.' X managed a kiss on Zero's lips. Zero kissed X's lips back. 'Mmm..so this is a kiss? This made my treat a little harder.' X giggled. 'Harder?' Zero nodded. 'He is always a little hard around you.' X licked Zero's cheek. 'What a coincidence. Mine is always a nice semi hard around you.' Zero smirked. 'He has felt but a little hard when you ride on my back. That is rather erotic to me.' X giggled and blushed. 'I also love how you take me whole and suck me even when empty.' Zero chuckled. 'You are quite tasty. It is hard to stop. Mmm, I feel my treat getting harder at the thought.' Both boys were getting hot at their recounts of playtime.

After a while of bickering from the group, Iris started to come around. "Where am I? Where's my brother?" The man with the torch came close to her. "You're supposed to stay home, Iris. The desert is no place for you." Iris pouted. "Its no place for you either brother." The man with the torch rolled his eyes. "Who brought you here?" Iris sighed. "I don't know. I came out here on foot and collapsed in the sandstorm." Zero spoke up. "It was we that brought you in here to get out of the sandstorm. A sandstorm is no place for any." Iris looked over to Zero. "Might I have a better look at you?" The boys turned towards Iris quietly. Iris recognized X, but not the redhead demon. "Xavier, is that you? Who is the strange man behind you?" X sighed. "He's the demon who brought you in here and the one I now reside with." Iris tilted her head. "Willingly or not?" X blushed. "Very willingly." Iris grinned a little. "Might I get a better look at him?" Zero let go of X, folding his wings onto his back and shoulders. He gave X a gentle snuggle before starting to walk towards Iris and her brother.

When all eyes were on Zero, Wily made a dash for X, grabbing him from behind. X yelped in surprise. Zero stopped halfway in his travels and jolted in the opposite direction, knocking Wily away with one of his wingarms and catching X with the other. The redhead held X tight against him, growling angrily at Wily. The man with the torch had seen everything. "Now that's attempted kidnapping. Dr. Wily, you're under arrest." Iris passed a pair of handcuffs and smiled. "Aww, the demon is so protective of you, Xavier. That's so beautiful. Nobody would expect that from a demon." X grinned slightly. "Not all demons are bad."
