First, they went to the bar. Now the family (and girlfriend) were at a fine dining restaurant.

Caitlin has shut down that night. Well, towards her mother that is. Every comment that could be made to put her down was said by Carla without hesitation. She tried to ignore the pinging in her chest from every snide comment. She would've been able to do it too, if not for it being her own mother.

Cooper had picked up on it as well. He wasn't going to say anything but it wasn't hard to sense the tension between the mother and daughter.

Cooper swiftly knocked over the water that was in his hands. "Oh! Caitlin, sorry!" The cold water sogged a good amount of Caitlin's dress. "Come with me..."

That was his chance to get Caitlin out of there and away from the intensity in the room.

"Sorry that I had to go and do that," he finally said when they were outside the restroom area.

"Okay," Caitlin wasn't that upset. Sure she had to be in a wet dress for the rest of the night, as she didn't have spare clothing. But this was gonna be a good time away from her cruel mother. "Uh, thanks Cooper."

Cooper smiled. "I'm sorry about this. I really didn't know mom was like that-"

"Oh, so you see it too? Collin is so blind to it! He just wants to live under mom's roof. I tell you, he's so spoiled!"

Cooper sucked in a breath. "Ok so maybe this family get together was a bad idea."

Caitlin snuck a peek at her brother before looking back at her crossed arms. "Yeah, Cooper. Our family sucks and I'm sad you have to be apart of it. Hopefully this doesn't happen again."

Cooper nodded his head. Then he felt a bit sad as one person was missing from this whole get-together. "Maybe next time I'll ask dad to come, Cait."

She widened her eyes. Caitlin always wanted to meet her father and now that Cooper was here she would have the opportunity to. And then it'd be the whole family and maybe Samantha wouldn't be invited.

"So Barry... did you go back in time?" Oliver asked his best friend.

Barry, feeling ashamed, held his head low. "I-I did what you asked me to do."

A grin crept on Oliver's face. Before he could mutter out a thank you Barry stopped him.

"But I somehow brought on something crazy." He slumped in his seat.

Oliver did his signature eyebrow raise. "Oh yeah? And what's that?"

"Now Caitlin has a brother named Collin."

Collin Tannhauser wasn't in the original timeline. In the original timeline Caitlin didn't know about her older brother Cooper but he was always there. Now, somehow in some way, Barry going back in time gave Carla Tannhauser another son. Barry knew about Cooper before Caitlin's second introduction of him because he already lived through it. Then Oliver asked a favor of Barry to go back to 1996- the reason doesn't matter. Barry wanted to say no after what happened in Flashpoint but he didn't. Then for some reason, Collin Tannhauser was conceived.

"Wait. Arrogant little Collin Tannhauser who dated my sister in high school is an anachronism?"

"Well actually an aberration-" Barry cut in

"Right- whatever. Well give him back."

Barry scoffed. "Oliver it doesn't work like that. I don't even know what I did that brought Collin along."

Oliver sighs.

"And therefore I can't go back and stop it from happening. But please tell me about Collin because I've only known him for a couple weeks," Barry's voice got a little higher.

"H'kay. He dated Thea in High School, come on Barry!" Oliver didn't seem to be able to get over that fact.
