"Barry, this sucks. I mean, Caitlin and Felicity? It never should've happened! This needs to be fixed!" Oliver stated, his voice growing louder on every word. He struggled to limit his emotions to just his words and neglect the urge to flail his hands about.

Oliver and Barry stood solemnly in the empty cortex of STAR Labs. "I know Oliver. You're not the only one who lost the woman they love to another... woman." Barry said back, his forehead in his hands. Then he looked up at Oliver with creased eyebrows. "Wait, Oliver... you're not asking me to do what I think you are?"

"If you love Caitlin as much as I love Felicity, you'd do this. Yes, Barry, I am." The taller and bulkier man confirmed, fists on hips.

"You know I can't! Not after Flashpoint... what it did. I can't go back in time, not for this."

Oliver sighed, defeated. He was right by Barry's side when everyone found out about Flashpoint and what it did to everyone.

"Ok," Oliver gave in. "I'm not asking you to change the timeline, but there is something I need you to do for me."

Barry sighed and shifted his weight to his other leg. "Yeah, what is it?"

"November 1996. Bestowed City. There's Alumetal. I need you to get it. It's really important for me to have tht."

"Okay, Oliver I won't ask why. But why are you making me go 22 years back in the past for Alumetal? Can't you get your own?" He asked, almost concerned about the answer.

Oliver pursed his lips. "No. Not this kind. I've checked in with Nate and he said 1996 is the only time I can get Alumetal."

Barry nodded his head, whipped around, and got into running position. "Oliver. This better be worth it."

"Take me with you, Barry."

"What?" Barry said with a higher pitch.

"You have to. I'll navigate."

Barry stood up and inched back to Oliver. "Ok. Hold on tight."

"Please, Barry. I've time-traveled before."

After the two best friends arrived to 1996, they took the time to look around the place. Even though they both lived through it before.

Oliver got what he wanted. Then he went back to Barry.

"Ready to go?" Barry asked.

Oliver nodded and huffed a confirmation.

Barry grasped at Oliver and on his way back to his 2018, he ran past a park filled with adults and kids. Among them was Carla Tannhauser.

The Flash's wind blue past Carla fiercely. She spun and almost fell, until landing into the open arms of a man nearby.

"Are you ok?" The man asked.

"Oh! Yes..." Carla answered, already falling in love with his deep green eyes.

"Richard," The man introduced himself.

"Carla," she said. And that was the beginning of their short relationship.

Meanwhile, Barry and Oliver were already back at Central City, unaware to the fact that they had just made an aberration. Giving Caitlin Snow a new, younger brother by pushing together a man and woman who previously had nothing to do with each other.

When they got back to the city, so little had changed, excluding Caitlin's family.
