Wally tossed and turned around in his bed, sweat clung his shirt to his hot body underneath the covers.

He used his super speed to emerge from the bed in a sudden awakening. At his dresser he looked at his shadowy reflection in his mirror from the lack of light in his room.

He tapped into the speed force, forcing on his powers and adding lightning bolts around himself to give off some light, and lots of light it did.

There he saw his long hair clinging to his wet forehead, his eyes were red and his bottom lip drooped uncontrollably even when he tried his hardest to hold it together. That was not how he went to bed at last night.

He checked the time at his bedside that read 4:52, and knowing he had to be up for work he sped back to his bed and under the blankets, not giving his distasteful and inglorious reflection any more thought.

Later that day he woke up without a problem, having forgotten the events of the early morning before and got ready for work; car model. He got to wear whatever he wanted and even with the bright lights of many cameras, it was a pretty calm set.

As he stood up and began to run out the door, he clutched his stomach and fell to the floor. Whatever was going on would surpass him, he thought, thanks to the quick healing of speedsters. He looked around, surveying his home to see if anyone was around to cause the turmoil but no one was there. Whatever was going on was natural... or at least internally natural.

He shoved his hand into his pocket to retrieve his phone. Form there we brought it close to face so that he could read it as his vision blurred as well. "Hey, Mari. Call Iris," He directed the virtual AI assistant in his phone.

The call was picked up quickly, as Iris was up doing her workout routine on the other side of the country. "Hey Wally, what's up?" She casually asked her brother.

"Iris... there... there's something wrong with me and I- I need help! Please," He weakly gritted through his teeth. And he barely had enough time to finish his sentence before blacking out on his floor leaving a confused Iris through the line.

When Wally woke up, he was already in the familiar STAR Labs gurney. IVs and everything with the whole crew, Barry, Caitlin, Cisco and Iris. Iris looked the most concerned and she was the closest to his side.

His call must've been traced after the line went out. "Iris..." he claimed weakly.

"Hey, Wals..." She said trying to hold back her emotions.

"I- am I finna be ok?" He said.

Iris smiled at her brother's slang and nodded her head. Chuckling, she says, "of course, Kid Flash."

But the splotches of white overlayed by dark blue streaks on the side of his face said otherwise. Caitlin was already working hard to figure out what was going on with her friend, so far no luck. The rash-like substance on his face was about the size of a penny when Barry found him. Now almost the whole left side of his face was covered in it.

They didn't bother investigating if it was contagious or not and seemingly it wasn't. The only concern was treating Wally for the turmoil his body inflicted on him.

"Whatever bacteria you have, Wally, it's unheard of. And that's because only speedsters can get it. I just don't know how to treat it, I mean... I have no way of knowing what it'll do to you. It could be nothing except for permanent Halloween makeup that comes along when you don't want it. I have no way of knowing. Not yet," Caitlin explained. Truthfully, there was a way to cure it. Sherloque Wells was told hours ago when he'd been contacted. But it was impossible to get the item that could cure him, and not just because it was on Harry's Earth 2. No one told Wally this because there'd be no point.

"You'll be better in no time," Iris said in order to speak directly to her brother and flush out the concerns Caitlin had unknowingly put out there.

"Wally there's something we can do but it involves Jesse," Barry quickly breathed out, going against his better judgement to keep it away from the young man. All he could now think of was Wally not dying, because that's what happened when he went to the future in 2017. Not physically but mentally, the disease targets the mind of a speedster, trapping them in the speedforce. Why did the spate terribly resemble the speedforce? Because that's what it is. It's the speedforce slowly overtaking him. Which meant someone had just escaped illegally. Barry himself held this knowledge, and that's why he knew he had to urge this idea on.

"And we're going to help you, Wally. Me, Caitlin, and Jesse."

Caitlin whipped her head at her... boyfriend? Lover... maybe they'd just settle on friends with benefits. Their relationship didn't know where it stood but now wasn't the time to discuss. Also, why was she just volunteered to go to Earth 2?
