Third Person POV*

Claire stood by her car, jaw dropped as she goanced at each vampire, taking keen notice of their non burning skin. She was stunned. Eve looked into Michaels eyes as she came to realise that he wasnt in any form of pain. He was out in the middle of the day and not burning like he should be. Myrnin was the one to reply to Claires question.

"You see, my dear, before you left, you had talked about some form of elixir that would be applied to a vampires entire body one time to grant them an eternal immunity to the blasted sun! I had begun my work whilst you still were a resident in the town, I had wished to surprise you with it when I had completed it! Then you left, so my work was very much postponed out of my loss of my very good assistant, I had to do everything myself and it always took far too long!"

Amelie decided to chirp in "I tried to get you a new assistant but you refused him Myrnin." Myrnin was quick to quip back, "That was because he was far too idiotic and helplessly modernised. He had to use google for any questions I asked the boy. Such a downgrade! I refused the imbecilic child and worked alone. I very much hated that you were gone my sweet Claire. Anyway! The elixir yes! I took up the project once more about a year ago and worked very hard! I had finally perfected it a few days ago, and so I made enough to cover every inch of every vampire in Morganville!" Claire was stunned at the utter brilliance of the man before her "Wow, thats amazing Myrnin!" With a beaming smile, Myrnin made the young blonde an offer "I could show you my work and method if you would like, im sure you would enjoy learning about it fy annwyl"

Claire suddenly looked to the ground and played with her hair, desperately trying not to seem stupid infront of the man who had dedicated two years of his very important life to teaching her science. She had been so busy in the last three years away, what with changing her look and all her shows and concerts, tours and signings, writing songs and learning dances, posing for photoshoots and paparazzi, she hadnt had the time to study or do any kind of science. She hated that she didnt have time to learn, but what she hated more was that the incredible knowledge the man stood before her had instilled into her mind, had started to fizzle away leaving her grasp on science very hazy. Myrnin had noticed Claires imitate discomfort when he had brought up showing her the science and mistakenly took that as her disinterest in it. Sensing the suddenly awkward situation, Eve piped up with an excited tone, "So, Amelie has something really cool planned for today! Everyone from Morganville, even all the collage kids, are coming to a huge party night! Theres an open mic and drinks and food! And we can wear casual clothes for once!! Instead of every other party Amelie throws that involves ball gowns and suits, which is super cool dont get me wrong but hey, if I can wear jeans to an Amelie party, im in!

Claire felt her head sink lower, every collage kid would be there... Alot of them would be from out of town, and the ones from out of town talk to the ones from the town. That meant everyone in that collage probably knew exactly who Claire was, a famous singer. Crap. She shook her head lightly to clear her mind and slipped a false smile on, how could she figure this out? She figured that eventually everyone would find out she's famous, but immediately after shes reunited with everyone again? Then a new thought sprung to her mind. She could show everyone at the party, it would definitely be a fun and interesting way to find out! And so as the plan formulated in her mind she dropped her false smile and let a real one take its place. "Sounds great!" She chirped, "I cant wait!"

Everyone began to talk about Claire's car and how cool it was, but she brushed their admiration away and quickly changed the topic to what it felt like for the vamps to be in the sun again. Within half an hour, everyone decided to head home and get ready for the party, Claire took Eve and Michael back to the Glass House as she went into her own home next door.

She had decided to change into a new outfit, after all she was about to come out as a celebrity. How could she not be dressed flawlessly for that? So she straightened her long blonde hair and left it down, took off her makeup then applied a full face of it, and changed into a gorgeous baby pink body-con dress that hugged her gorgeous figure. It was cut short, just covering her ass, the neckline was low and reviled a tasteful amount of cleavage, and it had very thin silver straps. She paired it with some very tall silver stilettos and a silver necklace with the letter C on it. She put in some diamond studs and smiled at her reflection. She dressed the outfit down by adding a light blue oversized denim jacket and flicked her hair back. She sprayed her favourite perfume all over then took a deep breath. This was it.

She walked outside and hoped into her Lamborghini, drove slightly up the road and pulled up outside the Glass House. She walked to the door and knocked, Michael answered with a smile and Eve was stood just behind him, beaming at Claire. The three got in Claires car, girls in the front of course! "Damn CB!!! Your outfit looks amazing! Your body is gorgeous!!" Eve said, astounded.

Claire smiled brightly and thanked Eve, returning the compliment. Eve was dressed in a beautiful black corset top, Black ripped jeans that hugged her hips, stunning black bejewelled heels that matched her black bejewelled choker and earrings. Her hair was down and had a red streak through the front, she looked gorgeous in all her gothic beauty. Michael was dressed in a simple outfit, blue jeans and a band T-shirt with some vans and a chain on. The three sped off to the park where the party was. The place was set up beautifully, there were lights and a DJ booth and a stage with a microphone on it. There were speakers and a food car. It looked amazing. Claire pulled up and the three cam in together, Claire hid herself behind the other two and then when they saw all the others she stood as far into the group as possible, desperately trying not to be spotted just yet.

Myrnin was the last to show up. He strolled over to the group, basking in the sunshine. A newfound hobby of his was to walk at a human pace, it allowed him to soak in the daylight he had missed for over a thousand years. As he neared the group, he could tell Claires heart was racing. He was instantly concerned for his little bird, he always felt safer around her. Which made no sense to him. He, a big, strong, lethal vampire who had been a ruthless murderer and had so little compassion for a thousand years, felt safer around a small, short, human girl who was barley 21 years old. Yet that little girl had changed his life entirely, he could never kill a human again, he had far too much compassion. Claire had taught him that. He could never willingly drink from a human vein anymore, he entirely relied on his bloodbags. Claire had taught him that. He could never kill his assistant when he deemed their idea stupid, he refused to have anymore after his dear Claire was gone. Claire. Everything in his colourful mind came back to Claire. How had a simple human changed him so completely? He truly had no idea.
