Chapter 8 - Kat

Alyssa pulls into the parking lot the next day. She is still troubled by many thoughts and questions like before, but she tells herself to forget them so she would be able to continue her work. She gets out of the car and closes the door after pulling out her bag. Once the door is locked, Alyssa walks up to the twin glass doors and opens one to enter. A couple of families are gathered in the main party room because a birthday party is being celebrated. Freddy and his friends are all up on stage and performing a song for the kids. The young lady looks around and watches the kids run around, laughing and playing, while the grown-ups watch or talk amongst themselves. She smiles at them, then heads off to the employee's room to get changed into her uniform.

Walking into the room, the new night guard sees Vincent, leaning back in a chair while his legs are resting on a table that's holding him up. His hat is covering his face and his arms are behind his head in a relaxed fashion. The guard is also wearing his uniform and very much asleep.

Alyssa stares at him, wondering why he's sleeping. She walks up to him quietly and lowers her head down a bit to see his face; he seems innocent enough when he's relaxed. "Asleep as usual…" she whispers, leaning back up. The brunette walks away from the sleeping night guard and over to her locker while fishing out her key. After a few seconds, she pulls them out and carefully unlocks her locker before opening it. She suddenly stops and slowly turns back to Vincent who was sleeping at least a few feet from her. A sly, playful smirk creeps over her face, thinking of a good joke to pull on him. After getting her uniform and putting her bag away, she holds the door and begins to quietly count, "3… 2...1…" and immediately slams the locker door, making a loud 'clack' echo through the room.

Vincent quickly jolts upward in shock and panic; his quick movements causing his hat to fall to the floor. His muscle memory also causes him to rush to his feet on an impulse to hit the door button but falls to the floor since there was no wall to catch him. "AHH!" he yells before hitting the floor with a thud and groans in pain.

The female brunette backs away quickly from his movements, all the while covering her mouth, forcing herself to keep from laughing aloud. She, unfortunately, lets out a muffled chuckle, followed by a giggle. "Ha ha ha! I wish I had my phone out! Priceless! Ha ha!" she snickers.

The man in the purple uniform groans as he gets back up onto his feet while rubbing his head. His gaze shifts to look at her while being slightly mad, but then his glaring frown turns to his usual smirk and he chuckles. "Heh, nice one. You actually got me!" he laughs. "Not bad for a newbie~" the male compliments as he slides one hand into his pocket.

Alyssa, panting slightly from holding in a big breath, wipes her eyes while smiling happily at him for a change. "I couldn't help it...! You know you can't sleep at work, so I had to somehow wake you up… and this was all I could think of!" she admits and giggles. "Wow, that reaction though!"

Vincent feels a warm blush appear on his face feeling a bit embarrassed for having been caught off 'guard' by the other guard but quickly chuckles to hide it. "Ah, shut up," he smirks still, but calm. "Anyways, what are you doing here this early? I thought you were on the night shift today?" he asks, putting his hands in his jacket pockets.

Calming herself down while taking a few small breaths, she eventually regains her ability to speak. "Phew…! Well, I was, but for some reason, Mr. Fazbear put a note in my locker telling me to come in in the morning for a morning shift," she explains, placing both her hands on her hips and looking down. "I was dumbfounded."

The male tilts his head, actually looking confused as well. "A note?" he asks to clarify. "Usually when he wants to tell an employee something, Fazbear says something to them in person or through a phone call." Thinking for a moment on an explanation, he looks back at his female companion and asks, "Do you still have the note on you?"

"Oh yeah!" the female instantly remembers as she pulls her bag off her shoulder. "I should have it still…" Opening the flap and digging through the mess that is her bag, she eventually finds the folded slip of paper, removing it from her bag, and hands it to him.

Vincent takes and looks at the note, but it doesn't take long for him to explain, "Yeah, Fazbear didn't write this; the handwriting isn't the same." He hands the note back to her. "Looks like someone wanted you to come early and used his name to make sure you would be here."

Alyssa snatches the paper back and reads it thoroughly again. "Are you serious?! I thought that was him! No wonder he sounded so confused…" she says dumbfounded. "I woke up early enough to get here and now I have this to deal with?! Ugh… Kill me now…"

"Heh," he chuckles and smirks at the frustrated female. "I know you'll probably want to slap me after what I'm about to say, but would you like to stick with me for the day?" he asks with a shrug. "I'm the day shift security today, so I'll be walking around a bit."

She leans back up sighing frustratedly, "Fine… Got nothing better to do anyway… but you are right about one thing: I would slap you if I could," she groans, crossing her arms and looks away annoyed. "But if I did, I'd get into trouble and I can't afford to lose this job when I'll get my paycheck soon..."

"Heh, alright," Vincent chuckles as he picks his hat up from off the floor. "Come on~"

Watching him pass her to and out the door, Alyssa filled him by turning around to shout, "Wait! Don't I need to… screw it," she sighs before speed walking out, closing the door behind her.

Now waiting in the hall for her, his smirk having returned. "Ready now?~"

Alyssa walks up to him, brushing off her shoulder to get the wrinkles out, then looks at him. "Yeah, I'm ready. So, what do you do in the morning shifts?"

The man in purple walks and talks to the night guard. "Usually, I just stay out of the chaos of the brats running around, make sure they don't climb on the stage or onto the robots. Kids get really grabby from what I've seen." He sighs before continuing. "One kid wouldn't let go of Bonnie's leg and almost broke it when they were trying to remove him."

Following him while listening, Alyssa grew astonished at the sad story, "Wow...! That's pretty depressing... Were they able to fix him up?"

"The keyword there was 'almost,'" he states and continues walking. Soon enough they make it back into the main party room, then walk to the back area near the two hallways. Vincent leans against the wall while keeping an eye on everything.

Alyssa stands a couple of feet from him with her arms crossed. "So far, so good… At least the kids are happy," she smiles, watching the children run and play around the large room.

"Yep, that means they'll be off our backs," he says plainly, then looks at her. "Lucky for you, we only have to stay here today. There will be no parties in the other party rooms."

She looks up at him disgustedly, "Why doesn't that make me happy...? I'll possibly be there alone with you..." she groans.

Vincent laughs as his grin grows. "Well, someone's mind went to a dirty place~ Images slip through your mind?~" he teases and sticks out his tongue playfully and pervertedly.

Alyssa's glares looked like she could burn right through solid metal, "Can your mind not go into perverted daydreams?" She asks in a disgusted way. She rolls her eyes before turning away from him looking down the hallway.

Down the hall, Alyssa notices what looks to be a female, a redhead teenager to be precise, looking around the hall near Pirate's Cove. Her behavior indicates that she might be lost.

The dark-haired man chuckles with a smug smirk. "I didn't start thinking like that 'till you said something, toots~"

The female walks away while ignoring his comment and makes her way over to the bright-haired female. She stops and smiles, "Hi! Do you need something, miss?"

"Huh?" the redhead perks up and quickly turns to face the night guard. A large smile spread across her face, looking super excited. "Oh, hi!" she says and quickly makes her way over to the employee. With her now closer, Alyssa was able to see her wearing what looks like a black vest with a tan shirt underneath, but her belly is exposed, brown pants with some rips in them, black boots, a red sash around her waist, and a pirate's hat sitting on her head.

Alyssa takes a second to look at her up and down. She doesn't look like a child, but the way she was dressed almost made her look like one. It made her smile to see young teens still into dressing up as their favorite characters. She smiles at her, "I see you like pirates. Are you a fan of Foxy too?" She asks looking back up at her dark brown eyes.

"Oh yes!" the younger girl exclaims. "He's the best captain ever!" she smiles happily, squeezing her hands together up in front of her chest like a giddy child.

Alyssa giggled at her childish ways, "You and me both. I love your costume too!" She said admiring the way the decorative stitches looked on her vest. She carefully reaches towards her hoping it won't scare her and takes the end of her vest in hand feeling the fabric on her fingers. "That's amazing and so soft! My pirate costume was so itchy... Did you make that?" She pulled away and leans back up to face her.

Not seeming fazed by her actions, the redhead just looks down at her own clothes. "Um... Y-Yeah! I think…" She puts her hand to her chin with her index finger covering her mouth in thought. "... I don't remember. Maybe it was made for me...?" she thinks aloud and looks up in thought, pausing for a moment before smiling like a child, "Yeah! It was made for me!"

Alyssa, feeling a little guilty for asking that question seeing that it was confusing to her, quickly says, "Oh… Oh well… I think it looks great on you." She smiles, then asks out of curiosity, "By the way, you look confused. Are you lost?"

Having realized her own confusion, the younger female hesitates. "Oh umm…" Then, smiles awkwardly and rubs the back of her neck. "I usually tend to just hang around Pirate's Cove. I actually don't know this place very well. Heh heh…" she admits with an embarrassed blush.

"Well, I can show you around," Alyssa offers and moves her own hands behind her back. "I used to come here a lot when I was a kid, so I kinda know my way around. I'm actually working here too, so I can give you a small tour if you'd like?"

The redhead suddenly becomes interested in hearing that the woman she's talking to is an employee. "You work here?! Is that why you're wearing those clothes?" she asks, looking at the uniform in thought. "They look familiar…" the female comments, tilting her head a bit. "Security guard?" she asks looking up at Alyssa.

The night guard looks down at her own attire, momentarily forgetting she's in uniform and chuckles as she looks back at the younger lady. "Oh yeah, I'm a night guard here. I have a day left to possibly end my night shifts, but I'm still working here till then."

"Night guard?!" the redhead reconfirms while looking at the brunette's uniform again. Staring for a moment before shaking a thought from her head and smiles. "I almost forgot! My name is Kat with a K. Nice to meet you!" the redhead says with a large, child-like smile.

Alyssa stares confusingly at the girl, but simply shrugs and returns the smile. "Nice to meet you, Kat." Holding out her hand, she says politely, "My name's Alyssa."

Kat gently shakes her hand. "And yeah! I'd love it if you showed me around."

Taking her hand back, the night guard smiles. "Great! We can start in the main party room. You said you mostly hang around the Pirate's Cove private room, right?"

"Yeah! It's my go-to place," she admits with a smile and follows the employee.

Alyssa giggles as the two make their way out of the hallway and into the main area. "This is the main party room," she says and backs away as two young children rush by, screaming out in joy. Seeing this causes the two females to giggle. "More popular than before."

Kat looks around the room and Alyssa could've sworn she saw literal sparkles in the redhead's eyes. "Wow! It's so lively and busy! I don't ever get to see it like this!" she says in awe.

The night guard gives her a confused look and asks, "What do you mean?"

The pirate girl looks at the employee again. "Well... usually it's not this busy all the time, right?"

Looking over at his co-worker, Vincent sees the other girl now accompanying her. Not recognizing her, a look of confusion crosses his face, but he pushes himself off the wall and puts on his smirk as he walks over to the two females. "Hello ladies~" he says smoothly.

Alyssa turns around to see the man in purple and gives him a disappointed look. "Oh… Hey, Vincent," she says with no enthusiasm in her voice. "I thought you were sleeping while standing up on the wall."

"With this noise? Pfft. As if I even could," he simply replies before turning his attention to the other female. "Hello, sweetheart~" the male starts with a smooth tone. "My name's Vincent~ What's yours?~"

Kat slightly blushes from the way he's talking to her, having not been exposed to other people. "U-Umm... K-Kat... with a K!" she smiles.

"Cute name for a cute girl~" His smirk grows seeing her react with this cute shyness of hers.

Her blush grows even more as he talks. She turns her head away to face the stage so he wouldn't see the blush. "Th-Thanks...!" she giggles.

Alyssa, not feeling comfortable with his behavior near the girl, moves closer to Kat so she's in between the two. "Vincent, I'm showing her around. Can you keep your pervy thoughts aside so you don't scare her?" she asks the male in purple with a glare.

"Umm... Actually... He wasn't being a bother," the redhead says with a small smile. "I don't get complimented often so it's nice to hear it."

"That's too bad. You look like you would have lots of adoring fans~" Vincent moves past Alyssa, almost pushing her out of his way to stand in front of Kat. He gently lifts the redhead's chin to look into her brown eyes. "Someone as pretty as you shouldn't be wandering around alone~" he grins, now being closer to the young lady's face.

The young lady blushes a deep red feeling astonished at his actions. She never had anyone touch her this way, it was rather surprising. Kat quickly pulls away from his hand and looks in the other direction, away from his gaze, smiling all the while. "Well, I am with you, so I'm not really alone," she giggles cutely.

Alyssa, listening while trying to not make herself sick, whispers, "I'm gonna be sick…" and quickly moves up to Vincent, grabbing his arm and roughly pulling him away from the other female, glaring angrily at him. "Vincent, that's enough. There are kids around. We can't have this kind of behavior around them," she growls, feeling protective over Kat which also surprises her.

Vincent, a little surprised at her sudden actions, smirked back at her. "You make an excellent point, Alyssa," he agrees, turning away to look at Kat as he pulls away from Alyssa. "We should head to a quieter room~ It'll make hearing your gorgeous voice easier~"

"Umm…" Kat hesitates with a huge blush. "A-Alright," she replies and holds out her hand to take his.

Alyssa feels her anger rising, hearing how horrible he sounds compared to how innocent Kat is to even accept his request. She was ready to punch that bastard straight to the moon. "That's not what I meant! You're being very rude and very inappropriate!" she yells, grabbing his arm again and pulling him away before Kat could take his hand. The night guard's grip is tight like she was holding a wrench or hammer again trying to pry a nail off. "I don't want her being shown around by someone like you! In fact, I don't want her anywhere near you!"

Giving her a small glare for taking away his chance to get with Kat, Vincent slowly relaxes his features seeing how much Alyssa cares about her, even though they just met. "Then how about you accompany us? If you're so worried, then you being with us won't be a problem, will it?" he asks as he pulls her off of him, only to instantly grab her wrist and hold it tightly.

Shivers immediately run through her body faster than before. His voice now sounds a little more threatening than usual. Alyssa looked towards Kat, seeing her look confused and a little worried at what's going on. Seeing the way she looked made her feel more like a parent keeping her child away from a predator. Alyssa's glare intensifies as she clenches her fist, showing him her muscles tense under his fingers. "I won't allow you to talk to me like this ever again. I will not let you scare this girl like you have done to me since I started working here...!" she passionately says back at him.

"Come now, Alyssa~" the man in purple grins. "She seems to be more flattered than afraid~" Keeping his cold stare with her burning one, he doesn't let up his guard for a moment.

Kat is just staring at the two but then starts looking around. Without them noticing, she walks off somewhere else, away from the fighting.

"I highly doubt she was flattered," Alyssa continues to argue. "She seemed more scared to me! Like how you are to everyone who comes into contact with you!" Her fingers are gripping the male's arm tightly as all the anger she has towards him is being used in the grip.

"Then why was she smiling?~" he asks her slyly. "She was even about to take my hand~ Until you stepped in." He keeps his glare dead on Alyssa's gaze. "If she was scared, she would have backed up or looked uncomfortable with my words, but instead, she was blushing~ You can't deny that~" the male grins, and Alyssa can't fight back knowing that what he says is true.

She simply grits her teeth, knowing she is losing this battle, and ends with, "Stay. Away. From her. Or I will hurt you if you do anything to that girl, or anyone for that matter, and your body will be all over the damn walls…" the female spits as she rips her hand away from him. Slowly turning away, she walks off somewhere else to try and calm herself.

Vincent crosses his arms and snickers, "You just met the girl and now you want to protect her with your life? Hmm~" His grin widens with a thought. "Someone has a crush on a certain redhead?~" he comments under his breath.

Alyssa's feet carry her out of the main room and down the hall to the employee room. She stops inside the room, shuts the door, and immediately drops down to the ground, leaning her back on the wall beside the door. All the stress and anger she was holding back quickly taking its toll on her body. The young lady releases a deep breath out of exhaustion, not even realizing she was holding it in for so long. "I can't believe I did that… I don't even know her but, I couldn't let her go with him…" she says quietly under her breath as she hangs her head in regret "Now he'll tell the boss and might get me fired… Can my night get any worse from here...?"

What the night guard didn't realize was that the door beside her was opening up and out from the tiny opening, Kat playfully pokes her head into the room and smiles down at her friend. "Hello?" the redhead chirps.

The brunette quickly jumps in surprise as her head shoots up in the direction of the voice with a quiet, yet frightful shriek. Realizing it was just her pirate friend, she lets out a sigh. "Jeez, Kat...!" she breathes, putting a hand on her own heart. "You scared the crap out of me..." Eventually relaxing her stance, she leans back against the wall where she was originally.

"Sorry," Kat giggles while walking into the room. "I've been prone to do that from time to time. Also, I left you two because I didn't wanna come in between that conversation. Besides, it got kinda boring anyway."

The young woman chuckled at her playfulness, "It's okay… Sorry that happened back there..." she smiled a faint smile to her new friend before looking away from her, "I just hated the way he was being and my anger came out..."

"Ehh, don't feel bad. I appreciate the concern," Kat replies, sitting down beside the employee, picking up her knees and hugging them to her chest tightly. "You said I shouldn't be around him... but why? He was being very flattering to me," she asks with a tilt of her head.

"Vincent may seem like the type of guy to swoon girls, but after being around him for a few days, following him around, and hearing rumors about him... I didn't want you getting involved..." Alyssa turned to her with a serious look, "He's a massive pervert. He kept on trying to get near me for a couple of days when I first started. And seeing that he was coming into you, I had to break him off of you."

After a moment of processing the comment, the female speaks again. "Well…" the redhead starts, looking a bit concerned, but also curious. "What are some things said about him...? He is kinda cute…" Kat admits with a slight blush and a cute chuckle. "That's something I know."

Alyssa feels a little worried to even talk about this to her. Kat looks like she's around thirteen or fifteen. She doesn't feel like she's old enough to know about what Vincent had planned for her. Alyssa's face grew disgusted making Kat's curiosity grow. "I guess that's one thing… He's rude, cocky, stubborn, persuasive, egotistical, an ass... I could go on, but we'd be here all night… Maybe longer."

"But don't some girls find some of those traits attractive?" Kat asks her friend curiously, but she just shakes her head.

"Not unless you wanna get hurt afterward... Girls don't want guys that are all of those traits. They want guys that are protective, loyal, understanding, kind… caring… and..." her last word is quiet like she's whispering solely to herself.

The pirate girl cocks her head to the side, now worried after noticing her friend's depressed features. "Hey, you okay? You seem upset," she asks while scooting a little closer to the night guard.

The sound of her concerns quickly jolts Alyssa back to reality, shaking her head vigorously of any bad thought she was having. Releasing a quick and quiet breath to relax, the brunette moves her body a bit with her legs bent up and arms tightly wrapped around them. Alyssa rests her chin on her knees while looking away from Kat. "Vincent and Mr. Fazbear are, somehow, close friends. I never tried to attack him like that, but something inside just... wouldn't let me keep quiet. I'm afraid he'll tell the boss and… get me fired…" her voice begins to crack at the last sentence, fearing the worst.

In shock, the redhead exclaims, "No...! He can't do that!" Kneeling down in front of her friend, Kat gently takes her hands into her own. "You worked hard for this job, right? He can't just take it away from you!"

The older female looks at the younger, feeling tears threatening to spill over. "He can… Mr. Fazbear is a strict man and he wants everyone here to be like a family. It's like this at every job. You do so much for your work, but one wrong thing and you're done." Her voice sounds full of pain and sorrow, Alyssa lowers her head, hiding her face against her knees. "And I was so close to getting enough money…" she weeps as a tear slides down her cheek.

"Enough money for what?" the redhead asks, tilting her head in a concerned matter.

"My sister… She's out of the state for medical treatment, and her funds won't be able to help her… So… I thought of applying for a few jobs so I could send her some extra money to help her." she explains before looking up at the redhead. "This job was all I could find because I was so desperate…"

Pausing for a moment, the younger girl asks, "Do you like working here? Cause I've seen MANY people work here for a day and not come back."

The brunette smiles a little at her. "I do… I actually like coming here early to see the kids laughing and playing before they have to go home," she admits, then looks away nervously. "But… not during the night though…"

Kat tilts her head hearing this. "At night?" she asks the employee. "I've heard things about stuff moving and loud sounds being heard at night. But it is an old place. I guess those kinds of things can be expected," the redhead adds and laughs a bit.

Alyssa chuckles nervously, "Yeah… I guess, heh heh…" Her voice slowly fades out as she finishes.

"Well…" the pirate girl starts, trying to change the subject. "What is it like here at night?" Kat asks, moving to sit down on the ground in front of her friend.

This question takes the night guard by surprise, having to quickly think of something to say that didn't sound insane. "Uhh…" the brunette starts before thinking, 'Should I tell her? If I do, she might be too scared to come back… I don't want her vision of this place to change like mine did…' The young woman looks back at her companion. "It's… dark… and it's scary at first." She leans back against the wall before continuing. "Sometimes, sounds can be heard in the halls. Like a clank or a bang. Typical nighttime routine."

Kat gives her friend a small smile. "And the animatronics move around?"

Slightly surprised, Alyssa gives her an astonished look and asks, "Huh? Them?" Shaking her head quickly before smiling innocently. "Oh, of course not!" the night guard clarifies quickly. "They only move when there's a party around! They're turned off at night so they'll be able to move the next day!" But the other female only shows her a kind smile, obviously not as unaware as she seems.

"Alyssa, I hang around here a lot. I've heard the rumors and they don't scare me. You can talk to me about it and I won't call you crazy," she says gently to the older female.

Alyssa's smile fades to a look of concern. "Well... I didn't want you to know. You like it here and love Foxy. I didn't want to scare you so you wouldn't come back."

Kat just shrugs. "I'm sure. Besides, anything you have to say, I've probably heard it before through rumors," she says with a chuckle.

The night guard's gaze turns away for a moment to think before looking back at her with a scared, yet serious expression. "They... actually do move around at night. But not that they want to entertain…! They actually try to get close enough to the night guard office... t-to kill them…" Alyssa admits with fear.

The pirate girl slowly nods while thinking, then says, "I think there was a newspaper with a theory that the animatronics were suspected to be dangerous and even suspects in a murder/missing person case."

"But that's just it!" the night guard starts with slight panic. "I never heard that there was a chance they would kill you until I came in for my first shift! I don't know how, but somehow they make the restaurant feel like such an innocent place to work. But in reality... it's a murder site and no one even knows about the danger here!"

After staring at her friend for a moment, Kat leans in and hugs her. "Hey, you're starting to get used to everything, right?" she asks with a small smile.

Alyssa suddenly stiffens up as if she had never been held before, then smiles and hugs her back. "I guess I am."

"So then you're good! Mr. Fazbear wouldn't want to get rid of you when you want to be here," Kat optimistically exclaims.

The brunette's smile fades. "Uhh… I guess… I hope so at least…"

"Well I know it's true! So, don't be upset anymore," the redhead says with confidence.

Alyssa chuckles quietly, then tightens her hold, smiling happily. "Thanks, Kat… That really helps." She giggles playfully as she tries to part from the embrace. "You can stop hugging me now."

"But I like hugging you!" she smiles innocently.

The employee continues to giggle. "I get that, but some people like their space." Suddenly, an idea pops into Alyssa's head and her smile turns into a playful smirk. "But if you don't let go...~" the brunette starts with a chuckle.

The pirate girl looks at her, slightly confused. "Huh?" she blinks.

Chuckling with a playful evil, the older female moves her hands closer to the redhead's sides and starts to wiggle her fingers, tickling her.

Kat quickly lets go of her friend and moves away a foot or two to distance herself. "No no no! No tickling!" she yelps while blushing.

Alyssa stops after she finally lets go and begins laughing. "I'm sorry! I couldn't think of anything else!" Her friend only looks back at her and huffs with a cross of her arms, acting more like a child. Eventually calming down, she smiles at her redheaded pirate friend happily. "But thank you for helping me. I really needed that more than ever."

Unable to stay mad for long, Kat's smile returns. "You're welcome! And hey! If you ever need me, I'll be here at Freddy's," she informs.

"Will do," she nods. Standing back up, the night guard stretches her arms out and lets out a quiet groan. Pulling her sleeve up to check her watch, Alyssa says, "Huh… 1:00. Who knew time would pass by so quickly when you're in a fight?"

Kat snickers at her remark, then sits back down on her butt. "Time seems to pass a bit quicker in this place," she comments while holding her ankles with her hands as she rocks like a rocking horse.

Still not quite understanding the girl's behavior, Alyssa looks down at her friend confused. "You okay...? You seem different now."

"I'm fine," Kat reassures her with a giggle.

Still looking slightly confused, Alyssa just shakes her head and shrugs. "Well okay…" The night guard looks down the hall for a second, then back to the other female smiling. "Hey, I didn't show you more of the building before we were rudely interrupted..." she says, still slightly pissed at the other guard.

"If you want to, we can. I'm just happy to have a friend!" the redhead says with a playful smile.

Alyssa smiles back, happy to see her new friend being playfully childish as always. "Me too," she says, holding her hand out to her.

Kat smiles while holding back a ton of excitement. Taking her friend's hand, she stands up again.

Keeping a good hold on her hand she stands. "You like hugs, but I think it'll be a bit hard walking around with someone holding onto me like a monkey," she giggles at the thought. "But if you'd like, I'll hold your hand instead," the brunette offers and holds out her hand.

The other female smiles. "Sure, that's fine," Kat says, taking her hand and standing beside her night guard friend.

"Alright, you saw the main room, so now I'll show you the kitchen." The brunette chuckles nervously before admitting, "I'm getting hungry anyway." With that, she starts making her way towards the origin of the pizza smell in the building.

Kat's face lights up as she happily walks with her friend, exclaiming happily, "Food!"
