Lisa was seated between Darcy and Lily in her room, getting ready for her very special day. A little over a year ago, David had popped the big question with what was an amazing fireworks display. Now the two of them were getting ready to exchange their vows and spend the rest of their lives with each other.

"I just wanna say I'm really honored you selected me as your maid of honor Lisa, and I must say these Star Trek dresses were an amazing idea," said Darcy. Yes, that was another thing Lisa and David had agreed upon: They were going to do a Star Trek themed wedding.

"I still have trouble wrapping my mind around the fact that aliens thought that those old episodes were historical documents," said Lily who was a bridesmaid.

"That's nothing compared to the fact that Lana and Skippy took showers for this event!" joked Darcy.

"Well, they took showers for past weddings, so it's not exactly breaking news," pointed out Lisa who sometimes still didn't get jokes. That's when Lana and Lola came in with their dad. His hair was extremely gray now, and he had to wear glasses now, but his smile looked as youthful as ever.

"Well Lisa, I've walked nine daughters down the aisle and frankly, it never gets easier, but I just want to say I am very glad to be here," he told her. Suddenly Rita walked in from behind her husband. Her hair was now silver and like her husband she had to wear glasses as well, but she just rushed over and gave her second youngest daughter a hug.

"My little genius girl is getting married! I am so happy! I know your father and I have said this multiple times but David is a truly wonderful boy!" she said.

"Yeah, and any kids you two have will probably go down in the history books as either revolutionary scientists, or evil overlords!" joked Lola.

"LOLA!" everyone in the room shouted, the pageant queen turned a horrible pink in the face.

"Pay no attention to Ms. Sarcastic, you and David will have a great life together, I just know it," said Lana.

In another part of the venue, David was a mess. He kept pacing, actually needed help getting his Star Trek suit on and had to have something to drink just to calm his nerves. Fortunately, Winston and Skippy who were serving as ushers were more than willing to give him the support that he clearly needed.

"C'mon man, you handle dangerous chemicals. You've worked on the International Space Station. You went down to Antarctica to study weather charts. You and Lisa climbed Mt. Everest on a scientific expedition and have both gone to amazing depths in the ocean. Don't tell me you're afraid of getting married!" pointed out Skippy.

"Compared to getting married, those things were easy!" answered David who finally sat down, breathing heavily.

"You know, I think I understand where you're coming from. Just don't die of a heart attack, there's a lot of people out there who came from all over who want to see you and Lisa tie the knot as the saying goes," Winston told him. That's right when Lincoln came into the room.

"So, how's the big man of the hour?" he asked.

"A nervous wreck," answered Skippy. Lincoln was no stranger to this situation. He had to help Clyde calm down when he got married. He pulled a paper bag out from under his Starfleet shirt and handed it to David.

"Here, breathe into this, I kept it on hand in case it might be needed," David accepted the bag and breathed rapidly into it.

"We had to give him something to drink earlier, and he fumbled with his dress jacket. And it's technically a costume!" Winston told Lincoln.

"Hey, that's a dress uniform! Granted, if they were getting married in standard field shirts, then I'd be worried," said Lincoln. He got down to look David in the eyes and placed a gentle hand on his future brother-in-law's shoulder.

"Hey, look at me buddy. You're about to become a member of our family. I know my sister is very happy with you, and I know you're happy with her. I get that you're nervous, that's okay, but you just gotta pull through. For Lisa, okay?" he told him. David nodded and started breathing more slowly.

Eventually the big moment had arrived. The bridesmaid's and ushers stood on either side of the altar. The minister who was wearing what appeared to be Vulcan dress robes was at his pew, ready. David got to his position, having finally pulled himself together.

Then the London Pops Orchestra cover for the overture of Stark Trek Generations played. Lola and Winston's daughter Lexi wearing a cute little Star Trek costume of her own came in dropping little flower petals. Then Lynn Sr. and Lisa came in marching up that aisle. He gave his daughter gladly to David because he knew David was a great guy and gave his future son-in-law a hug.

The two of them exchanged vows, the minister telling how he knew the two of them and why he was happy for them, making a joke "as you two Klingon to each other." Lucy's son Silas brought the rings (he was dressed just like a little Starfleet cadet). The bride and groom kissed and everybody cheered, clapped and even gave the 'Live long and prosper' symbol.
