Three weeks after the fall of Akutō, Yuri Lowell hangs in chains in a dank, underground cult. Hundreds of men and women in purple robes were huddled together, bowed to a singular leader standing upon an altar.

"14 million years he has yearned to destroy Terca Lumireis..." The man proclaimed, "The one who predates all of history, whose power knows no equal, will be summoned here today with a sacrifice."

Yuri tugged on his chains and laughed, "Man, these things are a little too loose, think you could tighten them?"

The leader of the cult picked up his staff and tapped it to the ground, a purple light source came from the tip and he shined it on Yuri's face, "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like?" Yuri laughed, "I'm hangin' around!"

"You should be cowering in fear!" The man shouted at him, "You are about to face a foe who knows no equal! He will destroy you with a mere thought!"

"Psshhht," Yuri rolled his eyes, "We eat guys like that for breakfast."

"He is known only as the father, because he is the father of darkness who has set out to destroy not just this world, but entire galaxies," The cult leader became furious, "You should be treasuring your final thoughts!"

Yuri yawned, "That bathrobe you've got on looks nice, I knew this girl in the lower quarter who had the same kind."

Two masked servants of darkness approached the leader and placed dark charcoal under his eyes in an attempt to make him look even more menacing.

"Yuri Lowell, in celebration of the return of the ancient planet crusher, I hereby sacrifice you," The man raised his staff, purple electricity gathered around the staff's tip and his followers began to chant.

"Huh chuh chuh chuh, Huh chuh chuh chuh..."

"Have you any final words?"

Yuri grinned, "I do, but they won't be spoken today!"

A three pronged blade of precise, green wind slashed through Yuri's chains. Raven's "Wind Blade" spell set him free.

Light flooded the underground base as a massive vehicle crashed into the side, dozens of cultists fell like dominoes in a hurricane. The robed cultists gathered their weapons in response to the attack.

Out of the metal vehicle stepped Flynn, who immediately pushed a handful of their foes to the side. Following Flynn closely behind was Sodia and her tightly knit brigade.

"Let's do it!" Patty shouted, Raven fired an arrow from across the room, creating a zip line for the remaining members of Brave Vesperia.

Judith hopped to the floor, blasting away at the massive group. Repede and Karol huddled around Judith, creating a triangle of pure, unstoppable power.

"Ground Dasher!" Rita shouted, she was on the second story, safely tucked away where she could do the most damage. Protecting her, of course, was her precious princess, Estellise, who was casting many spells of her own.

Yuri ran around the center pillar, the place of his attempted sacrifice, in a game of cat and mouse with the cult leader.

"Hey! I could really use my Blastia and Sword right about now!" He shouted, carefully avoiding the zaps of the cult leader's staff.

"Sorry about that!" Patty shouted, she descended down Raven's zip line, musket in one hand and Yuri's Sword in the other.

"Catch!" The pirate queen shouted, throwing Yuri his sword.

Yuri caught it midair, "Alright, this evens us out a little."

"I'd think not!" The cult leader shouted, his staff's tip opened and a purple glow engulfed Yuri, freezing him. When the man moved his staff up, it moved Yuri's body up, when he jerked his staff to the left, Yuri was slammed viscously into the side of the rock.

Raven hung his bow across his zip line, dragging himself down by Yuri, "Here ya go, boss!" The old man tossed Yuri his Blastia, which landed on the floor because of Yuri's current status.

"Ohh!" Yuri groaned, his voice distorted, "This is making me uncomfortable! Help!"

His cries were nearly lost in the battle, but Hisca and Chastel saw that he needed help. The twins linked arms, "Force Field!"

The field of holographic decagons wrapped around Yuri, temporarily freeing him from the staff's grip. He quickly rushed to grab his Blastia, strapping it to his wrist.

"You're under arrest!" Yuri grabbed his staff from him and delivered a non-fatal wound to his chest.

Duke joined the battle from the other side of the building, carving a new hole into the side with his unique magic.

Adapting to a different combat style with the use of Blastia, Duke improvised and cut down cultists in the smoothest manor he could find, "Those of you who lay down your weapons will not be harmed."

Of course, none of them listened, relentlessly fighting in the losing battle.

The remaining cultists were easily killed or taken into custody, the battle went off with no casualties. The group then gathered at the edge of the hole they created.

"Well, that went rather well!" Yuri grinned, "Looks like my plan worked smoothly."

"In your dreams," Flynn scoffed, "That was so my plan."

"I enjoy this playful banter," Rita told them, half sarcastically, "But we aren't quite finished here."

The members of Brave Vesperia, including the newly initiated Hisca, Chastel, and Duke, followed Rita to the top of the alter. They climbed several steps and reached an aqua-colored tablet device.

"This seems to be an old formula technology, before holographic keyboards were invented..." Rita scratched her head slightly.

"Like a Blastia?" Karol asked her.

"No. This is more of a gray area, it doesn't use any Aer, but it does have some malicious intent."

"A doorway..." Duke muttered.

Rita tapped the piece of stone twice, "Yes..." she replied, "How'd you know?"

"Elucifer..." Duke spoke of his friend, "He always spoke of a race older than the Entelexeia that existed far outside of our galaxy... I never imagined it could be true."

"Life outside of our planet?" Flynn asked, "This does sound troublesome."

"Exactly how old was this race supposed to be?" Raven asked.

"Quite literally," Duke started, "As old as time itself."

"I haven't read anything about this in the castle..." Estelle told them.

"There is no race. Elucifer only mentioned one," Duke told her, "One being above all."

"So in other words, a god?" Yuri asked him.

"That's not quite what this tablet says..." Rita weighed in, "This portal opens a doorway that is supposed to be his way here."

"If he isn't a god, what is he?" Patty asked her, nervously.

"If he had children, they would be gods," Rita read off of the tablet.

Estelle got closer to Rita, "In children's literature, the parents of the gods were called Titans, if a titan and a human had a child, it would be called a god."

Rita paused for a moment, "There's nothing in here about a titan, but I suppose we could refer to him as one since we don't know how to classify him."

"Whatever he his, I don't think we'd want to mess with him," Judith said.

"Well you would open this portal by placing these three orbs in their places, so we could just prevent this by destroying the orbs..." Rita started, "But unfortunately, there's not enough power in the world to destroy them."

"They should be kept seperate and far apart," Patty stated, firmly.

"I will take one and bear the responsibility of safeguarding it with my life," Flynn approached the altar, humbly, and picked up the green orb.

"We can take one to Dahngrest and bury it deep beneath the floors!" Karol picked up the orange orb and placed it in his bag.

"And the third one?" Yuri asked.

"I suppose I could take it back to Myorzo?" Judith asked.

"No..." Estelle told her, "The other two are heavily guarded, this one should be placed randomly where it would be difficult to find. Somewhere not so obvious."

"We could have Patty drop it in the middle of the ocean," Rita suggested.

"Perfect," Yuri stretched, "It's settled, then. We can go home."

"I'm sure we can relax, this is the last time we'll ever think about this," Flynn told them.

"Remember," Rita leaned in close to them, "No one, I repeat, No one, is to know about this. If anyone knew about these orbs and the power they possess, they could end this world."

"Right."

"Got it."

"Gotcha."

"What now?" Flynn asked.

Yuri yawned, "I'm sleepy. Let's all head back to Zaphias for the night."

"That's good, you all have yet to meet the new throne candidates!" Flynn perked up with excitement.

"Oh how wonderful!" Estelle grinned, "I'm glad that my new system is working."

"Wait, everyone!" Rita gasped at the tablet, "There's more information here!"

Everyone huddled around, even though none of them could read it.

"These are coordinates... to a library!" The group collectively gasped.

"A library lost to the ages..." Estelle smiled and pictured it in her mind, "Think of everything new we could learn!"

"Looks like finding this library was tailor made for you two," Yuri shrugged, "You both have some sort of quest for knowledge."

"Well our quest for knowledge isn't the only think we share..." Estelle smiled at Rita and held her hand.

"That reminds me..." Rita said, searching her various pockets nervously.

The group watched, curiously.

Judith quickly deduced what was going on, based on her body language. Yuri soon followed and the expressions on their faces didn't do much to hide it.

The entire party's eyes widened at the sight of a diamond ring coming out of Rita's pocket, it was visibly hand made, reflecting light from every direction.

There was dead silence and shock as Rita began to get down on one knee.

"I didn't think Rita would be the marriage type," Karol whispered to Judith.

Judith grabbed his lips and mouthed "Shush it!"

"Estellise Sidos Heurassein," Rita attempted roll contain her emotions, but shivered in anticipation.

Estelle held her hand to her heart, a single tear of joy eased down her cheek.

The rest of the party did their best to keep silent.

"Will you marry me?" Rita asked.

The women in the party were now grinning, tears running down their face. Out of the men, it seemed only Raven was man enough to cry. The others just stood and watched, happiness inside of them.

Estelle dropped to the floor and wrapped her arms around Rita, sobbing from happiness, "Yes, of course I will."

Patty wiped away a tear and started slowly clapping, the rest of the group slowly joined in, followed by the rest of their allies down below the alter.

Rita placed the ring on Estelle's finger, it fit her perfectly.

"It functions as a Blastia too, just in case..." Rita told her, proud of herself.

Estelle kissed her, "Thank you..."
