I don't own Riverdale.
Chapter 1
"Really, Sissi?' Jughead sarcastically said as he watched as his childhood friend using one of the dinner tables to stretch out like a prima donna ballerina she was.
"Oh, come off it, Juggy!" She huffs.
Elisabeth Serenity Thibodeaux is one of Jughead's very close friends. She lived with her mom's name Antoinette Thibodeaux.
Her mom was from New Orleans that decided to move to Riverdale for 19 years before having her as a daughter.
She has no father because he was her sperm donor. AT least, that is what her mom said to her.
Her mom wanted to be a mother all her life because her parents/grandparents were rather strict religious folks who don't approve child out of wedlock, homosexuals, and anything fun.
To them, they were strict on keeping Antoinette be a perfect little lady and not caring if she wanted to have fun.
So, bottom line.
Left them behind to have her daughter since she had gotten the call from Riverdale Hospital to have a perfect donor.
So, long story short, Elisabeth "Sissi" Serenity Thibodeaux was born in Riverdale and her mother decided they should live here to start a new life.
"My dancing is my only passion since I have just gotten back from the ballet program in New York. Since I wanted to learn dancing and my mom wanted me to make an experiment at first then I wanted to continue it for my mom's dreams."
Elisabeth wanted to be a Ballerina or at least a dance teacher. She felt alive and she wanted to be good enough for it.
Dancing tends to spur rivalry among fellow peers.
'It was like walking into the lion's den.' Sissi shivers a little as her memories are returning to that hard summer.
Her mom never did anything that was considered 'pagan' based on her parent's Christians views.
Elisabeth had just simply fallen in love with Ballet.
She is working as a waitress at Pops.
While her mother is working at the Antique shop.
"Yes. I know that your mom didn't have much-doing anything she wanted and wanted you to do whatever you want. I'll say you are spoiled by her too much." Jughead slurps his drink.
"Hah! Jealous?" She gave him a cooed sound and bops his nose. He rolled his eyes and smirk at her.
"Green with envy."
She simply laughs.
Unknown to Elisabeth, Jughead likes to look at her. He may have been having a small crush on her for years and never made a move since he didn't want to ruin their friendship.
Plus, Elisabeth had a crush on Archie before he ditched them. Archie Andrews was once their closet friend and now he changes into this jock they don't know anymore.
Jughead is not sure if she still had a crush on Archie, but the way things are. She never mentions Archie again.
He guesses that she got the hint that Archie is a stranger now.
"Hey, Juggy. You still wait for me after getting out of work." Her voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
Jughead smiled.
"Yeah, I'll wait for you."
Elisabeth smiled and went back to work.
What they didn't realize is that their mundane life has set its course.
Jason Blossoms is dead.
Now everyone's secret is not safe anymore.
"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"
