Just like what The Morrigan said, nine months and a few hours after Lily's encounter with the Celtic goddess, the Witch gave birth to her daughter. After convincing her husband that she didn't cheat on him to get pregnant and convincing him that gods were indeed real, James Potter was simply too happy that he would get to be a father to argue with how his wife got pregnant.
Sitting in the waiting room with his best friends, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, James Potter felt very nervous and happy at the same time as his wife was currently busy giving birth to his daughter. After about half an hour of screaming and cursing from his wife, her screams were replaced with the cries of a baby.
The new father eventually got to his wife and newly born daughter and was greeted by the sight of his wife holding the newly born daughter in her arms, wrapped in a warm blanket. When he got a good look at his daughter, he took note of the six markings on the baby's cheeks. Each cheek had three whisker-like markings in a light red, almost pink, color.
"She's beautiful darling. Almost as beautiful as you." Stated James, earning the attention of his wife and his newly born daughter. "Have you already decided on a name?"
"Hazel." Replied Lily.
"What?"
"Her name is Hazel."
"… that's a color."
"And I'm named after a flower while Sirius is named after a star. Why not name her after a color? Besides, it's what her eyes are."
"Really?" And indeed, the baby's eyes were in fact hazel colored. "Huh. They really are hazel. Sure. Why not?"
"Honey, I think things are looking bright in the future."
"So do I Lily-flower, so do I." Just as the adults were about to share a kiss of happiness, the abrupt appearance of Sirius Black with Remus in toe ruined the mood.
