Chapter Five:

While Yasaka had only known the Potter-family for a rather short time, she couldn't help but feel quite bittersweet about her current situation. While she was happy to take the young Kitsune Hazel into her household, she felt quite sad regarding the circumstances that led to her current situation. Hazel's parents had been killed. No. Murdered.

As the blonde Kitsune thought, rather darkly, in bed what she would do to the monster that killed Hazel's parents if they dared to enter Kyoto (which in hindsight could quite easily be considered suicide), intent on finishing the job, she was brought out of those thoughts by something, or rather someone, grabbing a hold of one of her tails. That something turned out to be Hazel, who had taken a hold of one of Yasaka's tails and was snuggling with it in her sleep, something that made the owner of the tail smile bittersweetly.

On something of a whim, Yasaka transformed into her true form, albeit considerably scaled down but still quite large, and settled into a sleeping position around little Hazel with the young Kitsune in the middle, still snuggling with Yasaka's tail. With some resembling a smile on her vulpine face, Yasaka gave little Hazel a quick lick on the dark furred Kyubi's cheek, earning a slight giggle from the young Kitsune, before joining the little one in the realm of sleep.

At the same time as the two Nine-Tailed Foxes were sleeping peacefully in the land of the rising sun, Magical Britain of the Wizarding World was in a state of chaos. Some were celebrating the downfall of a Dark Lord. Some were still mourning the dead. Others were plotting revenge against the one that caused the downfall of their lord. And a very select few were trying to find the savior, but for what purpose was unknown.
