A/N
Thank you, everyone for your kind words regarding my friend. For those that asked – when this happened, she had surgery to repair her wrists then was admitted to the psych ward for several weeks. She was released to go home this past St. Patrick's Day and has been doing well so far. She takes her prescribed medications and talks to a psychiatrist and therapist weekly and the surgeon said her wrists were healing better than expected so she wouldn't require physical therapy. I call her just about every day and visit often – especially when I know her husband is out and she's home alone.

Chapter 21
Trick OR Treat
Jake-POV
Edward was out of town – back in Vegas meeting with the Russians. There wasn't an issue it was just a good faith face to face meeting to keep up relations.
Today was my day to check one Bella.
"Oh, hey Jake," Bella's usual smile didn't appear – that was the first tip off. She rushed around tidying the counter then disappeared around back. When she popped back up front, she had her purse and apron in her hand. "I'm sorry but I gotta go." She kind of waved at me then looked to Ben. "Ok – I'm out."
Something wasn't adding up here. "Wait a minute - I just got here. Where are you going?" I knew she was on the clock for another three hours.
"I'm picking Jessica up – giving her a ride to the hospital." She cleared her throat. "It's her sister - she was admitted to the ER."
I already knew she didn't tell Edward because he didn't call me. I also knew that he'd have me ride along. "I'm coming with you and I'm driving."
It's rare to see Bella with frown lines. "I don't have time to argue with you – it's not like I'd win anyway. You wanna go, fine but I'm stopping at home first."
I didn't have a problem with that. "Ladies first…" I held out my hand gesturing onward.
It was October and the days had become much shorter - by the time I was pulling into Edward's spot it was already getting dark. I watched as she jumped out of her car and ran inside. She wasn't gone for more than a few minutes before she hopped in my car.
"Now are you going to tell me what's going on?"
"Jessica's sister is having marital problems with her new husband. They fight a lot ….she recently got a restraining order on him but it did no good. He walked right through it and - well it's not so good, Jake. And I can't not go with her."
When we got to Jessica she was sitting outside on the steps. She looked like she had been crying and her face was clouded with worry.
The car ride was somber.
There wasn't a lot of talking.
Jessica already knew the room number, so Bella and I just followed her.
She paused at the door, unable to open it.
I offered to go with her. "You shouldn't have to see this alone."
"I'll go with her." Bella stepped up next to her friend and that was probably for the best.
"Then I'm gonna sit over there." I pointed to the waiting room at the end of the wing.
They had only been gone – maybe twenty minutes when they returned.
The next stop was to her sister's house – Jessica was going to grab a few things for her.
We pulled up to the white two story and Jessica was already on the move. "I'll be quick inside; grab a few things - you can wait here."
I glanced the house over. "Wait a minute." I grabbed Jessica's wrist. "Who's in that house?"
"Nobody – it's empty right now." She replied and I looked back to the house – studying each window.
I released her arm. "Get whatever you need and let's go."
We watched Jessica eagerly walk up the walkway and disappear through the front door. Her feet moved quickly like she was on a mission.
I looked over at Bella. "You ok?" She had been quiet most of this time. This would have hit really close to home for her – reopening things that have finally been put to rest, or at least I had hoped. More than Jessica, Bella gets it – she's been there and walked those shoes.
She hugged herself and shrugged. "I'm good." She looked back at the house. "I think I'm just gonna help Jessica so we can get out of here faster." I felt like she was making excuses to get away from me. Something Bella does when she doesn't want to talk.
I looked over at the house with a detailed scan, looking for anything out of the ordinary – like movement, light, or color. All appeared quiet so I nodded to Bella.
I needed to call Edward anyway.
"What's up?" Edward asked.
"We got ourselves a change of plans over here. An unforeseen circumstance has come up." Specifics are never given over the phone. Doesn't matter if you're picking up a fucking loaf of bread – you gray rock everything, keep it vague.
"How unforeseen?" Edward asked.
"Everything's good – nothing to worry about." I reassured him.
All of the sudden out of nowhere there was a loud pop and I ducked out of reflex. The sound was unmistakable. "Jesus Christ!" I looked at the house scanning all the windows for movement. "What the fuck?"
My heart fucking stopped and adrenaline pumped like a freight train through my veins.
"What the fuck is going on over there?" Edward demanded.
"Listen – I gotta go." I had no choice but to cut him short. He'd understand later.
"Call - ." That was all Edward got in just before I ended the call.
I had no idea what the fuck just happened up in there so I already had my piece drawn before I made it to the porch.
The front door was unlocked and as I cautiously entered -there was no sign of life on the first floor but there were screams coming from the upstairs. More than one person had screamed but the continuous shrieking was coming from one source. I took the stairs two at a time to the top and headed for the closest room.
On one side of the room, her back flat against the wall, was Bella. She was motionless, staring straight ahead. The color had drained from her cheeks making her look as white as the sheets on the bed. Only seconds had passed when her horror-struck eyes met mine. "Jake-" She croaked out.
The agonizing screams continued from the bathroom. Ignoring my buzzing phone and not knowing what I was up against, I white knuckled my gun and moved to block Bella from whatever or whoever was howling in the bathroom. It didn't matter if I got popped because if anything happened to Bella, I'd be a dead man anyway.
I had sights on Jessica now – her eyes just as large as Bella's as her small hand dropped the pistol she had been holding. Blood had sprayed over her face and clothing.
She walked by me and I looked beyond her to the still running shower to see a man – whom I assumed was Jenna's husband, covered in his own blood. The dark crimson stained the brilliant white tiles of the shower and ran down the walls in thick bloody streams. The man was still alive – collapsed on the floor and curled in on himself. There was no way to tell where he had been hit.
I picked the gun up from the floor, putting the safety back on before tucking it in my waistband. It'd be disappearing tonight.
I moved to Bella first who still seemed to be in shock. "Hey – you, ok?" Her brown eyes finally met mine and she quietly nodded.
I then went to Jessica who practically collapsed on me with tears streaming from her eyes. "Shhh….we don't have a lot of time." I hugged her to me and spoke low. "We can't leave him now - it has to be finished." I was absolutely serious. And the gun was out – another round would be too risky.
Jessica frantically shook her head. "No, I can't." She clenched my shirt. "Please – I can't."
"Well - you kinda already did." I pointed out. "So, on that note, first thing's first – take your clothes off."
She looked at me baffled. "What?"
I looked her dead in the eye. "You're a walking episode of CSI – get those clothes off."
"Are you at least gonna turn around?" She questioned.
Now that's fucking funny. "It's not like you have anything I haven't seen before. Clothes. Off. Now."
There was a laundry basket on the floor with folded clothing. I grabbed what looked like a girl's shirt and some pants and threw them on the floor at Jessica. "Here – you're gonna put those on. But first we gotta clean that blood off you." I afforded her no privacy and made no effort to look away as she slipped her clothes off and damn, I gotta' say that body could wake the dead.
All pun perfectly intended.
In this condition, he was no threat to me but he needed to shut the fuck up. I would have preferred to finish him right then but I had to get the blood on Jessica cleaned up before I could send the girls down stairs. The blood didn't need to make its way to other areas of the house. As I entered the bathroom, I ignored his screaming and tore several strips of cloth from the shirt Jessica had just removed– it wasn't like I had rope in my back pocket and there wasn't time to go sift around the house.
When I went to hog tie him, "What the fuck?" He wailed and wildly thrashed around on the floor of the shower.
"Well – we can't have you screaming in here or ripping your gag out." I tore another strip and balled it up to stuff in his mouth to muffle his agonizing screams. I patted his back. "Sit tight – I'll be right back."
He furiously bucked and his muffled screams still rang out over the sound of the water I was running. I let the faucet run over what was left of her shirt and rung it out. "Come here." I used the damp shirt to wipe the blood sprays that landed on her cheek and across her neck.
The rest of her clothes I threw in a pile near the drain.
I walked back out to the bedroom and looked over at Bella who still hadn't moved and then back to Jessica who was still sliding into fresh clothes. "I want you two to wait for me downstairs." Neither of them needed to see what comes next.
Time was ticking and Bella still hadn't moved so I moved quickly to her, took her icy hand and walked her to Jessica. "Go down stairs – stay in the house. Just go sit in the kitchen and wait for me. Touch nothing. Do nothing. That means no phones. Understand?"
Bella looked at me. "But Jake-" She knew what I was about to do.
"It's gonna be ok." I gave her arm a gentle squeeze. "I don't have a choice - this has to be done. Go down stairs and stay together." I pulled her arm back. "And Bella," I warned. "You can't call him right now."
She nodded in agreement.
I watched as they began descending the stairs before I headed back into the bathroom. I was careful not to get any blood on myself as I slid him closer to me.
I leaned over and talked in his ear. "This is what happens when you don't keep your hands to yourself." One sharp twist of his head and it was over. The screaming stopped; the convulsing stopped – it was finished.
Jessica and Bella were sitting side by side on the bottom step and jumped up when they heard me approaching.
"Now what?" Jessica was looking up at me when she asked.
I pointed upward. "There's a corpse chilling in the shower upstairs – your options are limited at this moment."
"Right – I get it. I get that they're limited but what are they?"
I thought it'd be pretty obvious what comes next. "It's not like he's going to slide down the drain pipe in one piece. He's gonna need a little help disappearing." I couldn't have spelled it out any clearer at this point. Having him disappear was the best option – no body no crime. Even if I left the bathroom in its current state but a body couldn't be found – nothing they could do.
"I'm gonna be sick." Bella finally spoke. "I just gotta – I gotta sit." She hugged her middle and sat back down on the step.
"We're gonna have a little Q and A session - the two of you in the kitchen. Now. Let's go." I waited for them to move first then followed behind. "Sit." I barked out and pointed at the chairs. "Now - very soon here I gotta start making some phone calls to get this mess cleaned up but before I do I need to know exactly what the fuck happened here."
Jessica and Bella just looked at each other – fucking crickets.
"Don't everybody start at once –" I was getting impatient and by the continued buzzing of my phone, I'd say Edward was growing impatient as well.
"I didn't mean it." Jessica blurted out through tears.
"Yet here we are- so I'll ask again what the fuck happened?"
"I came in and heard the shower." She looked to Bella. "So, I tried to be quiet and get Jenna's things but when I opened the nightstand there was a gun." She glanced over at me. "I was so pissed – he's not even supposed to be here. I couldn't stop thinking about how Jenna looked in the hospital – all that he did to her." She paused and swallowed hard. "I just thought I'd scare him but when he stepped closer, I just reacted, just squeezed and it went off."
I listened then asked to Bella. "And how bout you – where do you fit in to this mess?
Bella wiped at the tear drops falling from her watery eyes. "I don't fucking know, Jake" She shrugged and swiped at her tear-stained cheeks. "I walked into the bedroom and it just went off." She looked back to me. "The gun – it went off and I screamed. And I just stood there fucking frozen." She wrapped her arms around her middle again and squeezed tight like she was physically trying to hold herself together.
Jessica needed to know her position and understand it very clearly. If she thought she'd take this ship down, she'd be the first to sink. "This doesn't look so good – you feel me? Not only could they very easily spin this to premeditation you just made your best friend an accessory and not to mention me." I had a quiet day mapped out. I was gonna ride past Bella's work – visit for an hour or so, then go home and fool around with Gianna a little, grab some beers and fucking kick back with some football. Here they got me clear across two counties cleaning up a murder.
I'm tired and I'm a little fucking pissed.
"You think I don't know that?" Jessica let the flood gates open. "I don't know what to do. I don't know how to fix it? It's not like I meant for any of this to happen." She spoke in hysterics.
"First thing you're gonna do is stop with your mess and act like you got some sense." I pulled my phone from my pocket. "I'm gonna step over there and make a few calls." I pointed to the living room. "You two are going to sit here and do nothing." Just in case 'doing nothing' wasn't clear enough, I reminded. "No phones."
First call was to Edward. I had missed five calls from him and I could only imagine what'd be going through his head.
It was barely half a ring when he picked up. "What the fuck is going on over there?" He snapped out before I even had a word out.
"Change of status. We got a situation here that requires immediate attention." I just spit it straight.
"What do you mean a situation?" His voice was tight and laced with concern and rightfully so. If I was in his shoes, I'd be the same.
There's only so much I can say over the phone. "I'm gonna need house service for a dinner party of one. And friendlies aren't in the neighborhood." Edward would understand what I was saying. It's not like I could say we got a dead body up in here and need some fucking assistance. My next call would be to Felix and Demetri to come for a clean-up. This wouldn't be the worst mess they've ever delt with but it had to get done right, nonetheless.
There was a quiet pause then, "Jesus - tell me she's fine, Jake." His voice was hardened and raw as it no doubt reflected all the possibilities running through his head.
I looked over at Bella, she was still visibly shaken but other than that she was fine – I had my doubts about Edward at the moment, though. He sounded like a burning man. I could understand his vantage point - he was over a thousand miles away couldn't get the detailed play by play and unable to do anything with his own hands. "Just be calm, E – all is fine. Do what you need to do – we got this under control."
"Uh huh - I'm coming back." He must have covered the phone with his hand because all I could make out were muffled whispers as he spoke to someone else. Then back to me, "Forget using a service. You see it through – personally see it to the finish and you do as you see fit." He didn't know all the particulars which had him on edge and sounding uneasy.
Edward was clear that I was cleaning this up but gave me the reins to make executive orders.
Saw that one coming. "Yeah – you have my word."
"I'll be leaving here shortly – it'll put me back in town tomorrow night and we'll talk more then." He left it at that and we hung up.
Instead of calling Felix and Demetri, I got Riley on the phone. "Hey, Jake-"
"Hey –" I got right to the point. "whatcha got going on right now?"
"Got the game going."
"Yeah well – the game just got shorter."
"What's up, man?" He asked.
Riley didn't need to know the specifics of what went on up in here but I didn't need the girls here while I made this guy disappear. He was on babysitting detail. "I'm gonna need you to come out to Sandpiper and get something to eat. And you need to be gone five minutes ago."
He knew not to ask anything further. "Yeah – on my way."
I put my phone in my pocket and cleared my head. This job was easy and I wasn't worried but they didn't need to know that. Easy or not though, I'd play it safe and cover all bases. The fact that it wasn't a B&E made things that much simpler. "What rooms were you in?" I looked at Jessica. "You first."
She thought a minute. "Just the bedroom."
"What'd you do fly there?" I quipped at her naivety then spelled it out. "I mean every space you stepped foot on. Every surface your hand touched." I was putting it on thick – it'd do her some good to squirm.
"OK –" She began naming places and ticking them off on her hand. "So, the porch, the foyer, the stairs, the upstairs hall, the master bedroom and the bathroom." She looked to me then. "That's it. I came in and went straight upstairs."
"You're not forgetting anything?" I gestured and looked around the kitchen.
"Oh! And the kitchen, too." She grimaced. "Sorry." She squeaked out.
"This isn't some kind of joke." My mood hadn't gotten any better. "We have exactly one chance to get this right. There are no do overs here." To further punctuate my point, I added, "One fuck up, just one - that's all that's needed and it's all over." I was being a dick. Truthfully, this job was routine for me and I had it all under control.
"That was everywhere." She whispered out.
"And what about you?" I asked to Bella now.
She chewed her lip before she answered. "The same – except I wasn't in the bathroom." Her voice was hollow and hoarse and her cheeks were still stained with thick tears.
I nodded thinking that was easy enough.
"Jake?" Bella spoke up.
"What?" I snapped wondering what else was coming.
"Are we going to jail?" She honestly asked.
I softened up then and chuckled despite it all. "Nobody's going to jail." Then I got serious. "Do you trust me?" I assumed she did – but I asked anyway.
She nodded her reply.
"Then you got nothing to worry about." It was the truth. I'd have this mess cleaned up and in a few more hours we'd be turning the page.
The three of us sat in silence in the kitchen and my mind made a quick list of tools that would be required. "You two are going to sit right here." I stood up and pushed the chair back in. "I'm gonna have a look around – there's a few things I'm gonna need." It'd be best if the tools I needed were here as certain items, when purchased together, raise red flags – which we didn't need.
Jessica quietly spoke up then, "I can help – if you tell me what you need, I can get it. Or, I mean with whatever – I can help with anything."
I'd prefer the girls just sat tight. I'd be able to work a lot faster if I didn't have to keep tabs on them as well. "Let's try it this way – I'll tell you what I'm looking for and you tell me where I can find it." If she knew where I could find the things I needed – instead of me wandering around the house on a scavenger hunt, it'd cut off some time.
She nodded.
"Bleach." I figured that'd be easy – most households have bleach.
"The laundry room is just over there –" Jessica pointed towards the dark room off the kitchen.
I set the bleach down on the counter. "Garbage bags – the heavy duty really large kind."
She pointed again. "Same room – there's a closet in there."
"We're doing good." I set the box of garbage bags down next to the bleach. "How about tools –" I cleared my throat. "like saws. Do they have anything like that?"
Bella's eyes grew to the size of saucers and if I thought she was pale before, now she was sickly white. It couldn't be helped – I was in work mode and had a job to get done.
Jessica swallowed hard before answering. "I'm not sure. If they do, probably the garage."
There was a tool bench along the outer wall that I rummaged around. There were the typical tools – hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches. Nothing helpful. I pulled open another drawer and spotted a handsaw – not the ideal choice but a lot better than a carpenter's knife. It'd have to do.
I grabbed the duct tape laying out on the top of the bench and brought that along, too.
After setting down the saw and duct tape I was feeling much better. This job was getting easier by the minute.
One last preparation – I had to run out to my car to grab my spare set of clothes. I always keep an extra set in my car – you just never know and it'd be better to grab my clothes now. If I waited until after the job, I'd either be going out wearing this guy's blood or naked - neither of those would be ideal.
I wasn't worried about leaving the girls while I ran outside. I knew they'd stay put. I trusted Bella and I knew Jessica would comply because she had the most to lose here – so on that note I stepped out to retrieve my things.
It didn't take long and now all preparations were in place.
To lighten the mood around here, I clapped my hands and rubbed them together smiling big. "So – how 'bout some pancakes?" I wasn't kidding – I was fucking starving.
"I wouldn't mind." Jessica was all about it.
"Ok – we're out." I looked around the kitchen for any personal belongings they may have left. "Get your stuff – all of it and let's roll." I looked to Bella. "We're gonna have a little company - Riley's coming to meet us. He's gonna bring you back to his place for a while."
I thought that might snap her out of it but Bella just nodded absently.
We pulled into the parking lot and I reminded them that we weren't discussing the happenings of today inside or with anybody outside the three of us and Edward. I checked the time – Riley would be here shortly so we made our way in and asked for a booth.
I slid into the green leather seat – with Bella sliding across from me and Jessica settling in next to me. That was different.
We had just gotten our drinks when we heard Riley's car pull in. Bella looked to the window just then, the deep rumbling of his engine was unmistakable.
Bella was scribbling doodles on the paper placemat and Riley leaned in, peaking around her shoulder. "Writing secrets?" He nudged her with his elbow and slid in next to her.
She chuckled and joked. "Not around you." She playfully pushed his shoulder.
This was the most Bella has said in a while now and I was happy to see her color returning. All in all, she looked normal – like nothing had ever happened.
"Hey, what's up?" Riley nodded over at Jessica.
"It's so awesome to see you." Jessica got up and gave Riley a hug.
Riley smiled and patted her back. "Yeah – you, too."
Jessica sat back down and Bella slid her menu sideways - over to Riley. "Here – "
"Yeah – thanks." Riley opened it and gave it a quick scan. "What are you getting?" He asked Bella.
"A big ass waffle with lots of whip cream and a whole lot of blueberries rolling around the top."
"A big ass waffle?" Riley nodded and laughed.
"What? It's a thing." Bella answered back.
"So – what's up, man? Why am I missing the game tonight?" Riley got to the heart of the matter.
"You're gonna give these two a ride back. I've got something I gotta do and it'd be easier knowing these two are in good hands." Jessica was distracted with Bella at the moment, so I lowered my voice. "By good hands – I mean hands off." Riley would know better – Edward made sure to punctuate that point back at the club. I cleared my throat as I debated my next words then just threw it out. "Both of them."
First his eyebrows shot up in surprise then Riley smiled real big. "Alright – I hear ya. So, what are the three of you doing way out here?" Riley asked as he looked over the food choices.
"Bowling." Jessica blurted out before I could answer – although that was pretty good.
"Uh-huh….." Riley said questionably and I wagged my eyebrows to mess with him.
"I have a friend that lives out here. Bella and I had plans to hang out, go bowl and whatever and Jake came along. Now we're hungry."
"Hmm, sounds cool. So, who won?" Riley was good - he knew something wasn't right.
Bella piped up then. "Jake – he's got this crazy spin when he bowls." She spun her index finger in the air demonstrating how my ball supposedly spins. "Then – boom!" She extended all ten fingers to emphasize. "All the pins come tumbling down."
"What was your score?" He asked to Bella then.
"98 – I don't have a crazy Jake-spin. My ball just goes down the lane straight."
I couldn't help it. "Just like the crow." Riley and I snickered.
From train tracks to crime scenes….I gotta say – for such a predictable creature, Bella is very unpredictable. Edward for sure has his hands full – you just never know what's coming. It occurred to me that the appeal is both sweet and salty.
It's everybody's favorite combination.
She was in a better mood and jetted her arm straight out to demonstrate then turned to Riley. "Oh, I've been meaning to ask. Did you get your windows tinted?" Bella redirected the conversation with ease.
"Yeah – it's pretty bad ass." Riley set his menu down and went into detail about his car. He'd near the end and Bella would find another question to ask. This went on all the way until the waitress came for our orders.
Our orders had been taken, so I looked to Riley. "What was going on with the game?"
He shook his head disgusted. "A fucking wash. They need to get rid of that prick quarterback – he gives it up every time."
"And the kicker." I threw in.
The food came quick.
We finished up and I paid the bill.
I walked the girls to Riley's car – Jessica climbed in the back and Bella took shotgun.
I watched Riley fly out of the lot, tires squealing and backend fishtailing all over.
Now the real work begins.
The night was clear and as I looked up you could see so many fucking stars out here. Bella always points out Orion – she's done it so many times I should be able to spot it but there were just too many stars to pick it out. Everything looked the same – just like the neighborhoods out here. I was in suburbia hell and needed to get moving so I could be heading back home.
I lined the floor with garbage bags and used the duct tape to seal them together – so I had a large plastic tarp.
The head had to go – and that was first. I needed this guy to bleed out so he doesn't leak out of the bags and make a mess in my car.
My left hand took a hold of his brown hair and yanked upward – this helped keep his neck nice and stretched. Making it that much easier to cut through.
The handsaw tore through the tendons and veins easily enough but the spinal cord required a little more muscle. The vertebrae aren't difficult to separate, its always the spinal cord that puts up a fight.
Once I severed the head, I left it in the shower pan to bleed out while I worked on the rest of the body.
The limbs weren't an issue and disjointed from the torso as expected. His legs were long, so I had to cut 'em into halves and once again that required a bit of muscle.
I'd give it about a half hour before I'd start sacking pieces up. That'd be enough time for the blood to run out and whatever was left would begin to coagulate.
I spent that time cleaning the downstairs. Again, it wasn't a B&E situation but I'd treat it as if it were. I wiped down all surface areas – front door, doorknobs, kitchen counters, chairs, table – I was thorough. Then I wiped down the staircase railings and walls and moved to the bedroom. I finished the cleaning then went back to the bathroom and began putting parts in bags. I double bagged just to be safe.
I let the shower run over the stall and did a quick wipe down so I could take a shower. I threw my old clothes and rags in a separate sack and put on fresh then turned around and bleached the fuck out of that shower.
Lastly, I lifted up the plastic tarp and stuffed it into the bag with his arms. I grabbed all four bags and set them in the back of my car. Before I left for the night, I grabbed a shovel and lighter fluid from the garage – wiped the area down then headed out.
There was a large wooded area near the Fox River and that was my next stop.
I wasn't gonna make more than one trip – too risky. I brought all the bags and the shovel and hiked through about a mile and a half of thorns and hip high reeds before I started digging.
Once the hole was deep enough – I tossed the bags in and covered them up.
Now to get rid of our clothes.
There's a secluded spot along Archer – its hidden behind thick masses of trees and it's on my way home. It'd have to do.
I watched my speed and made sure to blend with the other traffic until turning off onto a hidden road.
The gravel road was pocked with crater sized holes and the missing lighting made it pitch black as I made my way uphill and pulled through the windy drive.
I wasted no time throwing the last of my bags on the firepit, dousing them with lighter fluid, and lighting them up. I stayed until everything had burnt to soot and ash and only then did I head for Riley's.
Jessica decided she'd stay with Bella for the night – so that was one less stop for me.
I pulled up to Edward's and waited for Bella to open the door – I was surprised when Jessica came trotting back to my car. I rolled down my window. "I just wanted to say I'm really sorry about – well everything."
I was taken back by her sincerity. "There's nothing to be sorry about. There're people out there that are just intent on destroying – they don't need a reason or maybe it's just because they can. He doesn't deserve your remorse, Jessica. This is real talk – a snake will shed it's skin only to become a bigger snake." I had this exact conversation with Bella not too long ago.
She took a minute to consider the truth I just told her then looked down at her shoes before looking back up at me. "And I also wanted to say thank you. I know it's not even near enough but – thank you anyway." She stood on her tip toes and gave me a hug.
What do I even say to this?
I've done this job more times than I can count and never once have I been 'thanked'. It's just not something that's done in this line of work. It's an expectation not a friendly gesture.
"Don't mention it." I was trying to be clever but whoa – I just sounded really stupid.
"Mention what?" She smiled big and played dumb.
"Ok – smarty…" I ruffled the hair on top of her head. "…go on and get inside now."
Her big eyes sparkled in the night and she chewed her bottom lip for all of a second before she popped back up on her toes and kissed my cheek. " 'Night, Jake." Then in a blink of an eye she was off scampering towards the door.
Her running off was a good thing.
I really needed to clear my head.
It seemed like I threw myself in bed less than an hour ago and the racket at my door was a rude awakening.
I fumbled with my pants then went to the door and opened it.
Gianna.
"Jake!" She hissed out. "Where have you been?"
I left the door opened and turned around to go back to my bed. "Don't start with me." I kept walking.
She slammed the door behind herself and followed at my heels. "You act like you don't even want to be in this relationship!"
I wasn't gonna go there but as long as she did, I had no problem telling her how it was. "Who's acting? I'm good at a lot of things - acting ain't one of them."
"You're also good at getting under my skin. So, what? You're saying you don't want to be with me anymore."
"No, you said I don't want to be with you any more - I just agreed with you." This is probably the first time we have ever agreed.
She stood with her hands on her hips and if looks could kill, I'd be dead twice over. "Asshole!" She screamed at me before she stormed out.
An asshole I might be but I was a relieved asshole and could cross off something from my to do list.
I went back to bed only to roll back out again.
The next rap on the door was Edward.
He had already stopped home, so the urgency from last night had died down.
He heard most of the story from Bella so there wasn't much more to tell.
It was all very routine and he was satisfied it was taken care of without casualty.
It had been about a week now since it all happened.
Things were calm.
A few more days had passed and everything was business as usual. I had some pick-ups near Bella's work and thought I'd stop in for a well being check.
Walking into the café, I noticed Jessica was there too. I hadn't seen her since that night but heard through Bella she was doing ok. Her sister still had some healing to do but would ultimately be fine. I walked in and Bella greeted me wearing a smile and a pointy black hat that matched the purple and black tulle in her skirt. I gestured toward her getup. "That's ah….real cute."
"It's called having a spirit, Jacob. Maybe you can brew some up?" She spread her arms wide. "See, I decorated, too."
I looked around noticing the bats and smiling jack-o-lanterns hanging from the ceiling and wondered how she got those up there. "You did that?"
"Sure did –" Then she called over her shoulder. "It's not like Ben was going to climb up a ladder!"
"Hey!" Ben argued back. "I spotted you - didn't I?"
Looking down at Bella's short skirt, I'm sure he did fucking spot her.
I shook my head.
Fucking dick.
"I like Halloween." Bella continued. "Later this afternoon I get to help out at Adrianna's school party. She's dressed as a black cat. Hence all this…" She gestured towards herself and grinned big. "This is my first time being a party helper."
Jessica rested her chin on her fist. "My favorite time of year, too."
"Yeah – I like it, too." Tori smiled. "Getting dressed up and going to parties."
"Yeah – Bella and I would have horror movie marathons on Hollow's Eve and stuff our faces sick with popcorn and then on Halloween we'd dress up and go to my ex's party – he wasn't an ex then." Jessica squinted her eyes at Bella. "Until she ditched me to go live with a boy."
Yeah, that surprised me, too. More Edward than Bella, though.
"Awww - You know I still love you." Bella kissed the air at Jessica.
Jessica blew her a kiss back. "Yeah – back at you."
"You two are too stinkin cute." Tori noted.
Ben took his fake vampire teeth out and sauntered over rubbing his hands together. "Who's got kisses for Benjamin?"
Tori got up and walked to Ben. "Come here - I don't want you feeling left out." Then she kissed him square on the mouth.
"Ben you finally got your first kiss." Bella giggled. "How'd it feel?"
That was fucking funny. I had to laugh at that one, too.
"Feels like I should have two more." Ben pointed to Jessica then Bella. "You and you." He puckered his lips in the air.
Jessica and Bella cringed. "Eww, Ben!" Jessica squeeled. "Not on your best day!"
"What about my worst day?" He tried to negotiate. "Did I tell you I had a goldfish that died?"
Bella rolled her eyes.
"That's what Hallmarks are for – I'll be sure to send you one." Jessica countered.
"They're like five bucks a card." Ben batted his eyelashes and joked. "I knew you loved me." He turned on his heel and disappeared towards the back.
Just goes to prove, in this city anyone can get some action
Even this tool.
"I'll tell ya, though – there are some real creeps out there. Few Halloweens ago, I made a liquor run before the purchasing time was up for the night – and there's this guy dressed like a clown and he comes in the same aisle as me. He's standing there – kind of squared off, head hanging limp but still looking up right at me. And the whole time he's doing this whisper laugh thing – like um…" She snapped her fingers. "…you know -that hockey mask guy."
"Jason." Ben called over and pointed at Tori. "Friday the 13th."
"Yeah…" She mimicked the guy. "Ha Ha Ha… it was like that. No words – nothing else, just this creepy whisper laugh." She tucked her blond hair behind her ear. "So, every aisle I go down – he shows up. Same thing with that creepy laugh. He had me freaked so bad I left, went to the video store instead. The video store that's like four miles down the street. You're never gonna guess. I'm walking along the horror aisle and when I turn the corner – the clown creep is there too. I don't know if he followed me or what. He messed with me so bad – I dropped to the floor to kinda take cover so he couldn't see me and army crawled to the far back and there's me - just hiding behind the curtain in the pervert section, huge tears falling over the place."
"You went out on Halloween Night when all the crazy creepy crawlies come out to play and you didn't expect to get creeped on?" Ben had a solid point - with a body like that of course the ghouls are going to be swarming.
Still - creepin on a girl like that, making her crawl on the floor to escape and crying – not fucking cool.
"A solid beatdown will take the crazy out of most guys." I had no problem paying him a visit. "Did you recognize him?" I asked her. My bet was on an ex.
"No - he was head to toe dressed as a clown – face make-up, wig, all of it." She shivered. "To this day I can't stand clowns."
"So - what'd you do?" Jessica asked.
"What am I gonna do – I'm trapped curled up next to 'Big Alien Buttholes' and 'Deep Space Face Wash'. I called my bestie and she came as fast as she could - bursting through the door with a baseball bat. She called him out – head on. She was loud, too – even the guy working that night came out of his back office. This prick just stood there being a creep and starring at us but he wasn't laughing no more. Then we just left – she followed me home cuz I scared to death. For the next month, I was so jumpy and always looking over my shoulder, thinking he was gonna show up again." Tori reached for her purse and pulled out a small black spray bottle. "Now – I keep pepper spray with me."
That clown was lucky I wasn't in the rolodex of friends to call because he'd have a lot more than a red nose. "Everyone's got one good scare coming on Halloween and this city provides generously."
"I've got a scare - my sister and I had a few friends over for a sleepover – this was so long ago. I was like a freshman in high school and we brought out the Ouija board. We asked it a few questions you know to warm up and then the lights just went out." Jessica made her eyes big and wide for effect. "Just poof! Everything went black." Jessica explained. "We all screamed and grabbed each other tight."
I looked over at Bella just then. "Were you playing, too?"
Bella frowned and shook her head.
"Pffft…. She'd never do the Ouija board with me." Jessica gave Bella a sour look.
Bella shook her head. "You don't mess with that shit. It's bad juju."
I nodded over at Jessica. "So, what happened then?"
"Well – nothing. The lights went out. We screamed. My sister went over and flipped the light switch back on. That's all. We were too scared to try again."
"So - who turned the lights out?" There had to be an explanation and no – it wasn't ghosts.
"I don't freaking know." She shrugged and rubbed her arms. "Nobody moved, you know. They just went out." Her eyes went big again and she gestured far. "It was all the way across the room, you know – the switch I mean – you know for the light."
Ben made a ghost sound in Jessica's ear making her shiver.
"So, somebody else was fucking with you." I spoke as Bella walked to the other end of the counter to greet the older man had just come in then. "There was probably another switch for the light somewhere and somebody other than the girls sitting in the circle flipped it."
Jessica held her hands up. "I'm not saying it was or it wasn't – but totally fucking scary."
I looked back to Bella – she was still talking to the older guy or Mr. D as she called him. "Whatcha got going on this Halloween?" I was genuinely curious.
"Ever hear of Resurrection Cemetery?" Resurrection Cemetery was a little South of Chicago – in a town called Justice.
"Yeah – I know the story." I've dated a few girls that were intrigued by the story.
The legend Jessica is referring to is Resurrection Mary – a story that's well known to Chicago and decades old. They say Mary was out dancing with her boyfriend at an old Ball Room located along Archer Avenue. They had an argument and she left the dance to walk home. Along that stretch of Archer, it's very dark and she was fatally struck by a hit and run driver. Since then, there have been reports of a girl matching Mary's description hitchhiking along Archer Ave. She asks to be let out at Resurrection Cemetery, where she's buried, then disappears beyond the gates.
"You're insane!" Bella called while leaning into the pastry display to complete Mr. D's order.
I frowned wondering what Bella was going on about.
Jessica ignored Bella. "I asked Bella to visit the cemetery with me – you know to see if she comes out." Jessica shrugged. "I thought it'd be fun. Scary as hell but fun."
"I'm not going." Bella all the sudden appeared again.
"I'm with you." Tori said to Bella.
I shrugged. "Yeah – I'll take a ride." I felt Bella's eyes snap up but she didn't comment.
"You'd go with me?" Jessica looked shocked and I gathered Bella was, too.
I didn't see what the big deal was. "Yeah – you want to go, I'll take you. But it'd have to be tonight – I got something going on tomorrow."
"Ok – let's do it." She smiled big.
Tori waved Jessica's excitement off. "There's another story I've heard– they say a vampire can be heard trying to claw his way out of his grave at night. People say he can't rest because he's looking for his lost mate."
"That is the creepiest romantic thing I've ever heard." Bella commented.
Tori nodded. "Lots of strange stories over there - they call it Resurrection Triangle – you know like the Bermuda triangle."
"Better white knuckle that garlic, Jess." Ben tossed a bulb of garlic from under his lifted leg. "Heads up!"
I was quick to catch the garlic and held it out in offering to Jessica. She crinkled her nose. "Who needs garlic?" She took the garlic and whipped it back behind the counter. "I've got Jake!"
"What time do you want me to pick you up?" I held out my hand for her phone then dialed my own number.
"How about eleven?" Jessica suggested.
I handed her phone back. "I'll call you before I leave." I started to get up. "I'm gonna cut out – ".
"Yeah – I'll see ya later."
Bella all the sudden stormed out of nowhere and hit my chest with a doggie baggie, my arms wrapped around it out of reflex. "Hey – what gives?"
She shrugged. "It's for Emmett – when I stopped in to see Edward all he did was piss and moan that I didn't bring him his sandwich." She pointed at the white paper bag. "Would you mind giving that to him?"
"You got anything else?" I wondered. "Trick-or-Treat?" I wagged my eyebrows.
She gave me fish eyes - I was definitely picking up some shade. "Yeah-" She reached behind the counter and pulled out another bag. "Here. I stuffed Edward's in there, too."
"Alright – so, everything cool?" I probed.
Her answer was short and her smile was tight. "As a cucumber."
Bella turned on her heel and headed over to Ben so I headed to the club.
I had a light work day – I made my rounds, dropped off a few envelopes. My last stop for the day was paying a visit to the foreman overseeing the construction for the new condos to head off a problematic circumstance.
Before heading to Jessica's, I grabbed a shower and changed my clothes.
Jessica was waiting outside for me when I pulled up. As I got out to get the car door, her eyes glittered with excitement and she smiled so big. "Hey!" She pointed between us. "Look – we're twinkies!" She giggled all cheerful.
"What's that now?" I didn't get it.
"We're dressed the same." She pointed to her legs then mine. "Jeans, jeans." Then she pointed to our shirts. "Black and black. See? The same like twinkies."
I had on a black hoodie and loose-fitting jeans – I guarantee you we weren't 'Twinkies'. She looked smokin' in her skin tight jeans that clung to her every curve – they may as well have been painted on. She had them cuffed over her ankles and wore a fitted sweater where a set of perfect tits peeped out at me over a plunging V neckline. The fact that I know what she looks like under those clothes wasn't helping the situation developing in my pants.
Jessica had done some homework and spent the car ride telling me about Resurrection Mary. All I could think about was the resurrection in my pants but I still entertained her conversation with a couple of conveniently placed, 'mhmm's' and 'uh-huh's'.
It was well past visiting hours so I parked at the diner down the street and went around the side to open Jessica's door. She slid out and I tilted my head and looked at her feet to see where the rest of her went. I thought she fell in one of the many potholes. I always thought she was taller than Bella but I realized now that she was wearing flat shoes. She's still probably taller but not by much.
It was a short walk over to cemetery.
"Shall we?" I gestured toward the oversized black gate looming at the end of the path.
"It's so dark out here." She noted as she walked along side of me. "And look – the moon it's so big and yellow." She looked up at me and whispered. "Kind of spooky."
"Well, you know what that means?" I was messing with her and continued when she looked back to me. "It's a well-known fact that werewolves come out with a full moon." I wagged my eyebrows. "Better watch yourself."
She waved me off. "Eh – I can take on a werewolf, no problem."
I chuckled. "Yeah, but would you finish the job or would it be mine?"
She gave me a stink eye and stopped walking when we got to the gate. "Here we are." I prompted. "Ladies first." I held out my hand and waited for her to walk through the tall gate.
Jessica's big eyes caught the moonlight as she shook her head. "Oh, no, no, no." She held out her hand. "Age before beauty."
I chuckled. "You're scared." I pointed out.
"You're scared." She retorted.
I gestured to myself. "I'm scared?" I scoffed. "I'm not scared."
"Well - I'm not scared either." She said defiantly but I knew she was.
"All right – how 'bout we both go in at the same time." I offered.
Jessica nodded. "Same time – ok."
She grabbed my hand and laced her fingers through mine. "You're not ditching me in here."
"I'm not going anywhere." In all truth there wasn't anywhere else I wanted to be.
She squeezed my hand. "Ok – let's go that way." She nodded to the right.
"Why are you whispering?" I whispered back. "Everybody's dead – you're not gonna wake 'em."
She laughed. "I don't know – everything is just so quiet."
The was a fair point. "Hence rest in peace." I agreed.
The gravel crushed beneath our shoes as we headed up over the dark hill. Resurrection Cemetery was huge and the older graves were way in the back. "Do you know where the grave is?"
"Not really." She confessed.
I glanced down at her and shook my head with mock disappointment. "Good thing I do – or we'll be looking all night. Here – come on this way." I tugged Jessica's hand and guided her straight ahead, deeper into the cemetery. There was a dampness in the air and trails of dead leaves crunched beneath our feet as we went along.
Her feet stopped walking and she pulled on my hand to ask. "Hey - how do you know where it is?"
I turned to face her and smiled. "I'm just that good." I wasn't really talking about being a walking GPS for cemeteries.
"Whoa – be careful there. You're gonna trip over your ego."
"Unless I'm really just that good."
"Hmm…" She bit her bottom lip, making her grin a little crooked. "I intend on finding out."
Her flirtatious undertones didn't go unnoticed. I gave her arm a tug to bring her closer and now with my arm draped around her shoulder and her other hand in mine, I leaned my head in her direction. "I accept the challenge." I had every intention of getting her naked tonight.
We continued walking, following the path up the hill, where the larger-than-life sized monuments of angels, crosses, and the like loomed over us. This was start of the older section of the cemetery.
As we rounded the top of the hill, there was a scraping sound in the distance then the faint sound of footsteps shuffling along the gravel, we both stopped. "Shhh-" I whispered. "We don't want to get caught in here."
I was trying to pin point where the sound was coming from but the breeze and rustling leaves drowned it out and the moon had scattered dancing shadows over the grounds making it difficult to see and impossible to pinpoint the source.
"I don't think we're alone." She whispered to me.
The sound was closer this time – it was without a doubt footsteps. Only seconds had gone by when I caught a dark figure with the corner of my eye and so did Jessica. "Jake-" Jessica gasped as I yanked her hand and pulled her behind a thick tree for cover. Her back was pressed against the tree and I could feel her thundering heart racing wildly against my chest.
"Shh-" I pressed my index finger to her lips. I looked around the tree. "I don't think he saw us."
She swung her arms behind her and wrapped them around the trunk of the tree as she peaked out around me. "Where'd he go?"
I did my best to ignore how her soft curves felt against my body and instead I focused on my strained eyes looking out into the blackness. The moon had dipped behind the gray clouds and you couldn't see shit. "I don't know – somewhere that way." Her body shivered, I tipped my head towards the left and looked back at Jessica. "You scared?" I had to check.
She let out the breath she had been holding, instantly her body relaxed beneath me and when I looked down her sparkling eyes searched my own. "Um – " She paused to chew on her lip as she debated on her words. "with you – no. It feels really safe being in your arms."
My dick twitched. "You are." I confirmed and gently moved a stray piece of hair from her face, her eyes still locked onto mine. Something in the air had shifted then and my head leaned in a little closer, when she parted her pink lips, I took the invitation. Her lips were soft as they moved along with mine. I deepened the kiss and rested my hands on her hips as her hands snaked around my neck, pulling me in closer. She pressed her petite body against me and my hands grasped and kneaded the curve of her hips before wandering over her firm ass. Her body felt amazing. The ache in my dick needed some relief, I braced myself against the tree's trunk with my left hand and hitched her leg over my hip with my other and pressed into her center. She let out the sexiest purr as she swayed her hips and grinded into the hardness bulging in my pants.
She reached around her side and took my hand, placing it on her chest – her heartbeat thundered against my palm as I rubbed and massaged her delicate curves, even through her clothes my thumb could feel the hardness of her nipple straining against her bra. My own raging heartbeat drowned out our growing pants – I was dangerously close to stripping her naked right there.
I felt like a starved animal.
Her hand slid between my legs, when she felt how hard she had my dick she moaned and that was it – I had to pull back before I lost all control. My voice was thick with need – rough even in my own ears. "You've got your hungry wolf…" Jessica's eyes followed mine as I looked down at the big bulge in my pants then I quirked my eyebrow when I looked to her again. "Now are you gonna finish the job – or leave it for me?"
She looked me in the eye and spoke my words back at me. "I accept the challenge." She grinned.
I knew that grin.
I was getting laid.
I yanked her back to me and devoured her mouth. Our tongues tangled as she slid her hands up the back of my hoodie – the skin on skin felt amazing I could only imagine what her naked body would feel like beneath me. We were both breathless when I broke the kiss to look around. There was a small stone building just up ahead. "Come on-" I took her hand and she readily followed along – jogging to keep up with my longer strides. We approached the arched door way and I went in first to take a quick glance. I swiped at the cobwebs hanging above my head as I entered. The short corridor was really dark and narrow, plaques of names covered the walls on either side of me, and there along the back wall was a long white bench sitting under an enormous stained-glass window. It was obvious it hadn't been visited in years, if it had been I'd assume that the random pieces of litter scattered about would have been picked up.
It'd be fine. "In here."
Jessica's eyes were huge as she stood just over the threshold and whisper yelled. "Do you know what this is?" I was well aware it was a mausoleum. "We're gonna get in trouble!" She worried.
I made a dramatic show of looking over the small space then the wall of graves. "Who's gonna tell?" I hooked my thumb to the left. "Them?" I moved over to the wall and spoke to the corpses that had been cemented in and deteriorating for decades. "Hey – you all right with it?" I leaned my ear in like they were gonna answer me and waited a couple of seconds before I looked back to Jessica. "Yeah - they're cool with it."
Jessica giggled. "You make me laugh." And I got a sweet smile – the kind that could melt ice.
Joke time was over - I took her by the wrist and pulled her to me. I watched my thumb trace the soft line of her jaw. "I'm hoping I can make you happy in other ways."
A rush of air escaped her lips.
My eyes locked with hers and with my hands on her hips, I walked backwards, pulling her along with me to the stone bench sitting at the end of the tight corridor. I sat and she climbed over me and straddled my lap, the heat from her pussy came right through the fabric of her jeans and made my dick even harder. My hand slowly slid under her sweater and up behind her neck as our lips met and tongues wrapped around each other's while her soft mews drove me fucking wild.
Her hands made their way down my sides and she pulled my hoodie up and off. With my left hand, I grabbed the back of my tee shirt and yanked It up over my head. Her hands slid over my chest and when she tipped her chin up, I leaned down and kissed her – it was deep and passionate.
She threw her sweater on the floor then stood to unbutton her pants while simultaneously kicking off her black Vans. She shimmied out of her jeans and I stood then and turned her so her back pressed against my front. I kissed down her neck to her shoulder while her slender arms snaked around my neck. My hands slid the straps of her bra down and she pulled away from me just enough for me to unfasten it. She had amazing tits – so soft and full and they were like magnets for my hands. She closed her eyes and leaned back into me while my right hand made its way lower to the place my dick ached to be.
She rocked her hips and as my middle finger slid over her swollen clit, she moaned my name.
She was so wet – her pussy felt like wet hot silk. With two fingers now, I dipped further, going deeper this time and pressed a kiss to her pulse point, "I really want to be inside you." Her hips swiveled, circling over my fingers while my hips mindlessly shifted against her backside seeking friction to soothe the ache in my throbbing dick.
"God - I'm so wet for you." She panted out as she turned then and walked me backwards, her lips attacked mine as her hands worked to undo my pants. When the bench hit the backs of my legs, I let her push me down to sit – my pants and boxers now at my ankles. "Hang on…" I reached down for my back pocket and pulled out my wallet – kicked off my shoes and pants, too. She watched me pull out the gold foil packet and she plucked it out of my hands and grabbed my shaft firmly, stoking the flames with every jerk of her hand. She kissed up my neck and tugged at my ear lobe with her teeth as her hand dipped lower to tease my balls. She leaned back and just as she was tearing the square packet open, the silver moonlight shifted and came flooding through the stained-glass window in brilliant streams, it was like a prism of colors bouncing off the walls and illuminating Jessica – almost shrouding her in a silvery light. To look at her – it was like she was glowing with a light from within. Radiant even – with a tranquil aura that radiated all around her - a stark contradiction to the fiery desires currently churning between both our legs. She had let her hair return to its natural color but it looked even darker now in the pale moonlight and I watched mesmerized as shades of blue danced along the top of her crown and cascaded over her bare shoulders.
She stopped stroking me to study my face. "What?" She interrupted my thoughts.
She was really an otherworldly sight. "You're so beautiful." I ran my knuckle down her jaw line as she looked up at me through her long dark lashes and I had to kiss her again before the Holy Heavens decided to strike me down with lightning right then and there for every sacrilegious thought that just transpired.
I couldn't help but feel like I was at church and the rest of that unholy imagery - I'll take with me to the grave.
In addition to being absolutely spontaneous, it was edgy and taboo and a serious turn on.
Fucking sick – I know.
My hands rested on her hips, my teeth grazing along her jawline. "I have a confession…" I leaned in and whispered in her ear. "I've been thinking about having you for a while now." My mouth made its way down her neck kissing and licking as I made my way lower to her collar bone.
She placed her hands on my cheeks and looked me in the eyes and I'm sure the desire I saw in hers mirrored my own. "Take me." She challenged. "My wet pussy is gonna swallow your dick whole."
She had me so fucking hot for her. "I'm gonna explode inside you." My hands squeezed her ass hard, pulling her hips tight against me and rocking them over my swollen shaft. She leaned down and grazed her teeth along my chin. "Give it to me."
My head rolled back in ecstasy as she easily slid the rubber over my throbbing dick. I had been dying to get my mouth on those tits and they tasted every bit as good as they looked. She hummed as I kissed around the curve and she pressed herself into me when I swirled my tongue around her hardened peaks. I slowly moved to the other side, nipping at her soft skin before taking her other nipple between my teeth, her hands clenched the back of my hair. "Mmmm - your tongue…that warm feeling goes straight down and makes my pussy tingle."
Given more comfortable accommodations, I 'd really show her just how amazing my tongue could feel.
"When you scream, I wanna hear my name." My arms wrapped around her waist and in one swift move I stood up – "Oh – my God," she gasped in surprise but then tightened her legs around me as I pinned her to the wall.
We were both breathing hard as the anticipation built and when I finally slid up into her, she was so fucking warm and she let out a soft sigh that was so sexy. She let her words roll out breathlessly, "Oh, God – Jake you feel so good-" When her pussy had swallowed all of me, her eyes rolled up and her long eyelashes fluttered, I could feel her nails clawing into my shoulders as her hips subtly shifted, twisting her pussy around my dick. "You're so big and hard – my God, it's like a steel rod – and so deep." I had to muffle my own groan against her shoulder.
I let her body have time to adjust to me but I also needed a minute to rein it in. She squirmed against me and I had to hold her still. "Just – " I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes to block her out. "You're so tight and feel so good, Jessica - you're gonna make me come too soon." Her whimpers didn't help.
I kissed her shoulder and up her neck to give her some stimulation and by the time I got to her pink lips, I was ready to pound that wet pussy. She opened her mouth to me and met my tongue with hers as I slid her up and down my stiff shaft. Her body melted into mine with every stroke and she felt unbelievable. "Your dick is so fucking good." She moaned and I fucked her harder. My hips shifted the angel and she gasped in my ear. I managed to grunt out, "You like that?" I could physically feel her muscles tighten as I worked the pace up - her short pants falling on my bare shoulders as I brought her closer and closer to orgasm. "Oh, Jake – yeah…right ….fuck…" Her moans were more intense. "…right there." Her hands pushed against my shoulders giving her more leverage to grind down. "I'm gonna cum – God - faster."
She was so wet and slippery and as her walls began to tighten and pulsate around my dick she moaned with every thrust and as the speed picked up so did the volume of her pleasure.
"Jesus – you feel even bigger." Her thighs squeezed around me as her body convulsed against mine. "Oh, God – Jake-" She stuttered out - then breathlessly chanted my name as the warmth around my dick intensified and her orgasm spilled over. My nuts began to tighten as I drilled my hips into her quick and hard, grunting as the euphoria of my own orgasm took over.
My head rested on her shoulder and she hugged me tight as we both tried to catch our breath. When our breathing had slowed, she tilted her head toward my ear. "Was it everything you imagined?"
I groaned remembering how much tighter she felt when she was cumming on my dick. I was honest. "Better." I kissed her swollen lips more slowly now.
The muscles in my thighs and arms burned from exertion so I walked us backwards to that bench and sat with Jessica's legs still wrapped around me. She lay limp pressed against my chest and I felt her shiver as the breeze kicked it up and billowed through.
I ran my hand over her bare arm and could feel goosebumps. "Are you cold?" I wrapped my arms around her.
"Mmm – yeah but you're warm." She said dreamily.
I was more than warm – I was sweaty as a mother fucker.
She pressed herself against me and talked against my neck. "I love your body heat." She ran her teeth across my neck and I felt her hips shift. "Even your dick feels warm inside me." She rose up on her knees to kiss me, my hands slid around to her bottom and then she gently bit down on my bottom lip.
"A bed is warmer-" I suggested definitely down for another round.
She wrapped her arms around my middle. "You wanna come over to my place?" She leaned in and whispered in my ear. "I wanna ride your dick until the sun rises."
In response, I quick jerked her close to me and she jumped as I let the beast out, I full-on tilted my head back and howled at the moon and I didn't give a fuck who heard as it echoed off the tiny confines. She pressed her face to my cheek giggling. "Shhh! Oh, my God, Jake!"
I couldn't help but laugh with her. She was easy to laugh with – even just be with.
I pressed a kiss to her temple. "Come on – let's get dressed and beat it."
I leaned down and grabbed a random piece of newspaper that laid on the floor and crumped it around the used condom. I'd grab it before we'd leave and pitch in the trash at the diner.
I pulled up my pants when I remembered why we were here in the first place. "Diju still want to go out there –" I nodded toward the arched opening, "see the grave?" I'd still go if she wanted to but she shook her head 'no' before pulling her sweater on.
She handed me her bra and gave me puppy dog eyes. "It's just gonna come off anyway," she correctly reasoned, so I stuffed it in the pocket of my hoodie, took her hand and made our way back to the gate.
We went back to Jessica's and I got my trick-or-treating in early and hit that shit all night long like a fucking pinata.
It was one sweet fucking treat.
Morning came, I rolled over and ran my nose along Jessica's bare shoulder to rouse her from her sleep. "Listen – I gotta get going but I wanted to ask you something real quick."
"Hmmm…" She hummed half asleep.
"There's a party later – Edward always has one at the club and I think Bella's going. You wanna go with me?" She turned to look at me, her eyes still heavy from sleep – or lack thereof. "Mmm…..booze, shoes, and sexy tattoos." Her hand rubbed over my inked bicep and she crumpled her brow when she noticed I was already dressed. "If I can get you naked again – count me in." She smiled mischievously.
We'd absolutely be getting naked again. "I'll pick you up at nine." I pressed my lips to her pulse point and groaned. "And when I take you to bed, you're gonna spread those legs for me and I'm gonna fuck your tight pussy loose."
Her breathing hitched and she literally jumped into my arms and wrapped her legs around me. She kissed me long and deep then pulled back and loosened her legs to slide down until her bare feet touched the floor while she purred, "Mmmm…I can't wait to have you inside me again." She pushed me back towards the hall. "If you gotta go - you'd better go – before I jump you."
I was half way out the bedroom door when she called my name, so I turned back around.
She had flopped back into bed her dark hair fanned over her pillow. "Just so you know - you really are just that good." That crooked grin appeared again.
"Was there ever a doubt?" I winked at her then hit the road.
