"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU KNOW WHERE HE IS?!" Bakugo gave a deadly look to his homeroom teacher.
Aizawa sighed. "I should've known it was a bad idea to tell you two. I'm not even supposed to be doing this anyways."
"Shut up and continue!"
"I won't say who at the moment, but we have contacts who are keeping tabs with Midoriya. I figured I'd let you know."
"Mr. Aiza-" Uraraka tried to speak up but was interrupted by the angry blonde.
"Okay, what's your point?"
His teacher had a somewhat surprised look. "You don't care?"
"Why would I? That doesn't change anything."
"Actually, it does," said Uraraka, who felt relief upon the news. "It means Deku isn't totally stranded and there are other people keeping an eye on him; likely pro heroes."
The students were unable to tell by Aizawa's lack of response (which he was doing intentionally as to not leak info), but she was correct.
"Please don't talk much about it, but I wanted to tell you two because you seemed to be the most affected by his leaving. And the ones he was closest to as well."
Bakugo crossed his arms and looked away. He grunted and looked away.
Most affected by his leaving?
Uraraka thought back to when Mr. Aizawa caught her in his bed and immediately shook her head violently in an attempt to flush away her blushing cheeks.
"T-Thanks!"
"Once again, I'm not even supposed to be saying this much," said Aizawa. "But I thought you'd like to know."
As he turned around to leave, Bakugo asked him a question before he left.
"Wait," he said. "What are you planning to do about it?"
In a minor mistake, Aizawa hesitated slightly before giving his response, whcih was noticeable due to his usual nonchalant and quick-witted way of talking.
"I can't tell you that."
"You aren't going after him?" Uraraka asked with concern.
"Nah, they don't know yet," said Bakugo.
"I said that I can't tell you."
"Then why didn't you say that immediately?" he said. He then waited, and his face grew angrier.
"Wait... you aren't going after him at all! You just didn't want to say it because you knew it'd make us upset."
"Let him be, Bakugo," said Uraraka, with a more serious tone than either were used to hearing her with. "We'll find out when we need to."
"You're seriously okay with Deku jumping around out there on his own?" yelled Bakugo, still outside where Aizawa left them.
"NO! When did I say that!?" replied the angered brunette.
"When you decided to let off Aizawa easy."
"The staff at UA are trying their hardest to keep him safe. His mom is at this school!"
"Whatever," Bakugo responded. "If this school won't get him, then I'll get him myself."
Uraraka's eyebrows raised. "Do you want to get expelled?"
"Do you want All For One to catch Deku?"
She finally snapped and punched Bakugo in the mouth.
"I have HAD it with your fucking attitude! Just shut up!"
"HEY! You first, pipsqueak!"
"All you ever do is yell about how Deku's gonna die and that everybody's ganging up to keep him away! But why don't you ever think about how everyone else feels?"
Bakugo suddenly quieted, wiping his mouth, and paid close attention.
"Do you think I want him out there? Do you think ANYONE wants him out there that isn't All For One or Shigaraki?!"
Nearly beginning to cry again, she yelled.
"LOVED HIM, DAMNIT!"
Uraraka punched a tree near where the pair were standing outside, causing her to recoil from the pain.
Her hand started to bleed. After deliberating what to do and watching her wince in pain, Bakugo pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and gave it to Uraraka.
"You remember when I had to be... saved... the day All Might retired?"
The roles reversed, and now Uraraka was the one paying close attention.
"That was because I wasn't strong enough to fend off the league on my own. And that idiot headed an operation just to save me. And he almost got in trouble for it."
"Ah... I see... I see your point," Uraraka said, backing off a bit. "I'm sorry..."
"Don't," he said. "You're right. I shouldn't have yelled at you. It's just... I've got some things to tell him too, though it's nothing weird like with you."
Ochaco began to blush again. "H-Hey!"
"But in all seriousness. Deku's in more grave danger than I ever was. The League doesn't want to recruit him to the dark side. They want him dead."
Nodding and dabbing her right fist with the handkerchief, she continued listening.
"The longer we wait, the less time we have. And we don't know how long it will be until All For One finally jumps out to get him."
Bakugo... I can tell that he and Deku grew up together.
This is mirroring the thoughts Deku had the same day he went out to save Bakugo!
"Uh, hello? Is your hand alright?"
"O-Oh, yeah. Thanks," she said, handing back the slightly bloodied handkerchief. "I'm sorry for hitting you."
"You've got some guts, round-face. You'll be able to talk to Deku and tell him what you need to say when the time comes."
Walking away, Bakugo didn't give her time to respond with a stutter-y, blush-y expression. She instead tried to take it as a compliment, which is hard to take when it's coming from the class hothead.
