Year One

Chapter 1

And So It Begins

The once prosperous city of New York was now a battle ground. The streets are destroyed, windows are broken, and several buildings seemed to destroyed. It also seems to be lacking a certain group of superheroes... I wonder why? Maybe it was because there was an entire nation of gods and their armies that are currently marching through the city as we speak?

Yeah, that was probably it now, wasn't it?

Anyway, leading the ground forces of what was clearly Olympians was a large man that stands nearly seven feet tall and is dressed in golden armor that resembled what Romans' wear, with his army wearing matching bronze armor. He also was wearing a red robe that held onto his right shoulder and flew in the wind behind him. On his left arm was a massive golden shield that was designed with what appeared to be the trojan horse on it along with the symbol of the Olympians on the center. The weapon he carried on his right hand was a large, glowing red blade that was attached to a staff. It was the weapon the entity had been using to cut down enemies for as long as he could remember.

It's a weapon he used for conquest.

To complete the look though, was a roman helmet, with a large red feathery crest, one that symbolled his authority while also flashing his colors of the Olympians. To those who still didn't know, he was Ares... the God of War.

Beside him was a man that stood nearly nine feet in height and was wearing the golden armored boots along with brown leathered covering his lower body. He was wearing two large leather belts with golden buckles to keep the covering up, and around his arms were golden gauntlets. He too was wearing a red robe, but over that, he was wearing the hide of the legendary Nemean Lion. The beast he had choked out with his bare hands. In his hands, he held a giant mace, made with the strongest wood Olympus had to offer and wrapped with metal spikes made of metal that was as durable as Amazonian gauntlets.

The man was Hercules, Son of Zeus, Prince of Olympus, and the Lieutenant of the Olympian army, only under Ares and Zeus in the authority of it.

Above on the skyscrapers were the Amazons and Huntresses, both of whom were under the command of one in particular. She was a beautiful brunette woman that was in white and gold battle armor, with golden boots and light gauntlets. She was also wearing a golden headpiece that allows her to get good aim, but also protect her from blows by enemies. The woman also had a golden quiver with silver arrows on her back as her silver eyes scanned the area below, her golden bow read to be used at the slightest hint of their enemies.

She is Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, and the one in charge of the Amazons and her Huntresses that follow her every will.

Before the invading forces can continue, they were all halted by the mere sound of one thing... a howl.

Normally, the howl of a wolf wouldn't bother people who are certified gods, but when the howl was followed by the sound of thunder, and a large and powerful thunderstorm began to sweep over New York and was heading directly towards them... they had every right to be a bit concerned.

As he has arrived.

It was then when something landed before the army about twenty meters ahead of them, and it was an individual that looked entirely ready for combat.

The individual in question, the one who's howl had caused the storm, was a creature with dark black, obsidian fur, and had two electric blue beacons for eyes. He stood nearly eight and a half feet in height and was armored in what seemed to be a dark blue, borderline black, armor that resembled something of a mix between Greek and Norse tradition. His head was what stood out the most, however, as it was clearly that of a wolf's, with large fangs and a vicious-looking snarl. His arms were huge, compacted with muscle, with vicious claws on each of his hands, and on his upper arms near the shoulder, were a pair of patches of dark blue fur that seemingly to be glowing off the being's body... in the shape of a lightning bolt.

This was the Stormwolf, the Guardian of Mortals, the Gatekeeper of the Realm of Mortals and the Realm of the Immortals, and the Destroyer of Gods... and he didn't come alone.

A roar was then heard before a large black creature landed beside the Beast of the Storm. It was a creature of nightmares, standing nearly as tall as the lycanthrope that it was close to, and it had a hulking figure to it. His head alone looked terrifying, with white jagged 'lenses' that resembled crooked 'C's' that it uses for eyes, and a mouth full of razor-sharp, monstrous teeth that looked ready to tear through flesh, along with a long serpent-like tongue that hangs out from its mouth. The creature's hands were ended with razor-sharp claws, and they seemed to be ready to tear through the army that stood before them, but the main thing that was noticed was the logo that was on its chest, one that was a white spider that spread out across its chest, ending at the upper shoulders with the lower legs ending at the lower thighs.

This was Venom, the Lethal Protector of Gotham City, and the former Protector of Los Angeles, and he stood with the Stormwolf, and was prepared for battle.

Then someone landed on a tipped-over car that was on its side, catching the army's attention. It was a young woman, with blonde hair wrapped up in a ponytail, and dark grey eyes that showed out of a lightly armored mask. She was dressed in armored green pants that still allowed her flexibility and they were black from the inside of her thighs, she was wearing armored combat boots as well, but they still had the flexibility for her to maneuver when needed. The top part of her uniform was an armored green top with an emerald, green arrow marking as her logo, and what was normally just exposed skin of her midriff was now a light black armor courtesy of Stark tech, keeping her safe while also keeping her flexibility.

She was armed with an emerald, green combat bow, and on her back was a quiver with numerous types of arrows that she was fully ready to use in lethal force. Lastly, were her armored gloves that had the same arrow insignia as on her chest.

Her name is Artemis, and what a surprise, as she may possibly be fighting the real deal. Adding to that, she is a former member of a Justice League subbranch known as Young Justice. She recently left the team due to the fact they were ignoring this threat it seemed.

As quickly as she appeared, another being arrived, landing on the other side of Stormwolf that Venom wasn't at, and she looked slightly similar to Stormwolf, but with several keen differences. For starters, she was clearly smaller, about two feet shorter than the werewolf, with fur as white as snow as opposed to his black as night fur. She also had metallic silver eyes instead of electric blue. Her armor, of a more Japanese-Nordic origin, was light blue armor and was fitted for a more feminine design. The real differences though, was the fact that she clearly resembled more of an arctic fox than any kind of wolf... and that's not excluding the nine, large foxlike tails that were in the air like a peacock.

She was known as Nine Tails, younger sister of the Stormwolf, and a fellow Guardian of Mortals, and also a Destroyer of Gods.

Landing on the other side of her, as Artemis had taken her time to get to Venom's other side, was a humanoid frog-like creature standing about 5'11" in height. He had dark blue skin with a light tan face and underbelly, and light blue skin in the shape of a shuriken on his quads. Along with that, he has a whitish blue armor like elbow and knee pads that were a biological part of his being. Strangest of all was the large pink tongue that wrapped around his neck like a scarf, making him resemble a ninja. On his chest though was a circular device that had a top half that was red, and a bottom half that was white, with a silver button in the middle of it.

The creature's name was Greninja, but he himself was just a form from one of the heroes of New York known as Poke-X, and he was ready to rid his city of these gods.

Before anyone could speak, the roaring engine of a black 1969 Dodge Charger was heard and then turned sideways into a screeching halt right behind the side of the defenders. It was then when two figures exited the vehicle. The first had the figure of a man, one that stood about 5'11" and was wearing black leather pants, black leather boots, black leather glove, and a black leather jacket that was zipped up with what appeared to be two sevens, one backward, the other forward, combined in a big white stripe. In his hands were two medium-sized blades with flaming chains connected to them. The real eye-opener was the skull, a flaming skull with no eyeballs or anything like that, except for was seemed to be blazing fury.

He was the Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance, one who travels across the country and takes the souls of those who've sinned.

With him was a young woman with raven black hair and green eyes. She was wearing black leather jeans with black combat boots. She has a black cloak wrapped around her vest with a black belt buckle that had an 'X' on it. She was wearing black gauntlets that went from her elbows and down as fingerless gloves. Her top was a black, armored top that indeed exposed her midriff. Around her neck was a necklace with a black pendant attached. What shocked all were what grew from her hands, on each hand were two large, adamantium claws.

She was Talon, cloned daughter of the infamous Wolverine, and former assassin known simply as X-23.

Then, dropping down from a nearby building was a man who came out of the shadows. He was dressed in a white trench jacket with a red hood that covered his head. He was wearing black combat pants with boots of the same color. Under it, he was wearing an armored vest that would keep him from getting struck by life-ending blows. He had Desert Eagles holstered on his sides, and on his arms were armored gauntlets that had numerous features. A saber was sheathed across his back, and within his hands were his signature weapons... his namesake.

Tomahawks and that is the very man who stood before the army on the side of the defenders. The Tomahawk of Boston, and by far one of the most dangerous men on the planet, capable of even giving Lady Shiv of all people a run for her money in hand-to-hand combat. A perfect killer.

It was then when another New York native landed down within the growing group that was about to go to war against the Gods of Olympus. He was a man in a suit of armor, armor colored in red and gold, with a blue glow in the eye socket, along with a blue glow on the chest, which powered up the entire suit. The armor comes from a titanium alloy and was made to go to war, but with recent updates with a metal that he was given by a certain someone... it was ready to do battle with gods. Even if not, the man's ego wouldn't allow him to miss this battle.

He is the Armored Knight of New York... the hero known as Iron Man, and he was the one who alerted the others to this battle.

Not far behind him was a red and blue blur that stopped right beside the defenders and was giving a fierce glare at the army before them with fierce blue eyes. He had shoulder-length black hair and was dressed in an armored, dark blue jacket with red shoulder pads, along with dark armored pants that were black in color, armored on the kneecaps, and steel-toed combat boots added to the look. On his chest was a symbol that was recognized worldwide. The House of El symbol... a symbol used by all Kryptonian heroes on Earth.

The man's name was Solarstorm, the final Kryptonian that had landed on Earth... and the most lethal of them all. He used his strategic mind just as much as his power, and he wasn't afraid of doing the unpleasant... something those of this group could relate to.

Then came another armored figure, but this one looked to a giant, armored, humanoid turtle that stood about 6'7" in height and the armor was jet black. The helmet had a pointed front to it, and a black visor that is tinted, along with two flashlights on the side of them. The rest of the armor was had gear that included several types of explosives and smoke bombs and connected to what appeared to be a shell was a rather long combat chain. Sais was also on his person as they were sheathed on the large figure's hips.

He was the Night Watcher, the longest-running vigilante who's been operating in New York for nearly ten years now. A master combatant and ready to defend his home from those who see themselves as immortal.

For a moment, it seemed that that was all that was coming, and Ares was about to order the next command, only to feel the vibrations of something coming... something huge. Then there was a loud roar that shook the area around them, and it was then when they all saw the beast coming from around the corner of the street... It was a thirty feet tall juggernaut, built like a tank with dark, charcoal scales, and large rigged spines that resembled spines. Muscular arms that were ended with three jagged claws. He had elephant-like legs to go with it, and a large tail that would work well as a weapon. The creature's head was something to behold as well, as it looked to be a T-Rex-like head, and glaring down at the army with scarlet, orange eyes.

He is Zilla, the hybrid son of Godzilla, Prince of Monsters, and on the non-Titan side of the family... he's the grandson of Zeus, making Hercules his uncle. The beast stands behind his comrades as he then released another ear-piercing roar.

Then all of the Olympians, especially the Amazons, saw and glared as they saw one of their own landing beside Tomahawk. She was a young woman with raven black hair and crystal blue eyes, and she was wearing black Amazonian armor that had the 'W' in the form of a silver choker around her neck. On her quads were two silver stars on each leg, and her belt was silver with the Amazonian symbol on it, making those who were once her sisters glare in disgust. She also had on silver gauntlets, and in her hands was a silver shield and a large, silver-handled sword, similar to her older sister's sword, but more heavily built.

She is known as Troia, formerly Wonder Woman, and former Princess of Themyscira. She is also the younger sister of Wonder Woman, who just so happens to not be around. Like Artemis, she is a former member of Young Justice, but she left due to feeling she wasn't doing enough... until Tomahawk showed her the way.

Suddenly, a cloaking device faded, and standing among the heroes was a man in dark, navy green, armor. He stood easily at 7'2" and had armor that looked to be built for battle. His helmet was similar to Nightwatcher's in a way but lacked the flashlights and the more beak-like appearance. He also had a golden visor on the helmet that seemed to give the army a blank stare. Along with that, the man was armed to the teeth. A combat shotgun was holstered on a magnetic field on his back, a magnum rested on his side in a similar manner, and a different metallic piece was on the other side. In his hands were a machine gun, one he has used for years, and one that has gotten him through many battles.

He is known simply as Chief, or in his time, the Master Chief, a Spartan Super Soldier from an alternate timeline when humanity actually got along for once. He got stuck in this era back when he first became known as the Master Chief a little over five years ago.

His appearance was followed by a roar and then a large green humanoid that stood about a foot taller than the Chief had landed right next to the super-soldier. He had gamma green skin and toxic green eyes. He was wearing stretchy black pants, but nothing else exposing a lot of muscle that came from his being. He also had a patch of black hair on his head that was rather unruly. Though, there was also an aura around him, one filled with uncontrollable rage to smash everything in his path... because one thing was certain... he's always angry.

He is the Incredible Hulk, a being mistaken as a monster due to his uncontrollable rage, but these people he stood among knew better, they knew all Hulk wanted to do was to help people, yet the government and the Justice League deemed him a villain. That will soon change.

Lastly, a mist quickly came through the area, and once it disappeared, there was a young woman, one that stood about 6'2" and had reddish-brown, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes that peered out of a hockey mask. She was in torn black jeans and black leather boots, and also in a brown leather jacket that was also torn as the ends. She also had an aqua blue tank top that exposed her midriff. She was wielding two weapons, with an axe in her right hand, resting on her shoulder, while in her left hand... was a machete.

Her name is The Slasher... and she was made at the same place as Gojira and is the semi-immortal cloned daughter of the known killer, Jason Vorhees. Only without the homicidal tendencies.

Mostly.

They all stood together, as a unit, ready to face the great army of the largest Pathogen of Gods on the planet, all the while thunder rolled across the landscape.

I always knew that doing this would start something big... but I never knew as to how big. We were seen as a lot of things when we first formed... a group of monsters and killers. Maniacs that went against the laws of the world and thinking we were above it. It's not like the Justice League does the same thing. Though this group, we'll do what those weirdos in spandex won't do... distribute true justice.

For the story I'm about to tell you isn't about a group of heroes, but instead... it's about a bunch of Renegades.

Welcome to Year 1.

May 2011, Several Months Earlier

St. Louis, MO

Hats are thrown in the air as the graduating class of students were all smiling with cheer. They have just finished high school and were happy that they won't have to go back ever again, at least until they go to college. For one, though, it meant quite a bit more than just being free from high school. That one person who was especially happy was a young woman who was walking towards the exit of the park they held the graduation ceremony at.

She was eighteen and stands about 5'7" in height, she has silver eyes, a unique color that always gained her attention from boys (something her older brother down right hated). Her hair was a bright, fiery red, but at the tips, it was white as snow. She was currently in a blue graduation gown, but under it was a pair of blue jeans, black leather boots that were just under the knees, and a blue and white flannel that had the sleeves rolled up to halfway up her arm. Around her neck was a light chained necklace that had a light blue amulet, one that resembled a Nine-tailed fox with different gems hanging around it.

Her name is Whitley Feral, and she wasn't just the ordinary graduate, as her family had a secret that only a select few knew. She was a Nine-Tailed Fox, well more like half that and half lycanthrope, one that was born to do one thing really well. Hunt and battle immortals of all kinds, including the very gods. Yet, as of most of her teenage years, her older brother, who had been the one taking care of her since he was sixteen and her fourteen, wouldn't allow her to join him on hunts... not until now that is.

"Someone's excited, now, is she?" spoke out a voice that made Whitley's smile widened as she turned to see a young man about the age of twenty, who stood easily 6'4" in height, with slightly slicked back obsidian black hair with barely noticeable blue highlights. He also had a decent-sized black beard sprouting from his face and was dressed in dark blue jeans and brown leather boots, with a black and blue flannel over him, which was usually where his black leather jacket would be at. Yet the one thing that set him apart was his eyes... as they were a deep electric blue, something that always grabbed people's attention.

His name is Troy Feral, and unlike his little sister, he was a lycanthrope, and also unlike her, to which she can do nine different types of elemental magic (Only three that's she's mastered) he only had control of one... and that was lightning. Or more like he has control over storms as a whole.

He is the one who's had taken the mantle of Stormwolf... a mantle that was vacant after their parents' untimely demise. Troy officially took the role after he turned eighteen, and well... the immortals that live on Earth were running scared when they heard the Stormwolf had returned. His sister had wanted to help him out, but Troy said he wanted her to at least finish high school first.

He let her do 'vigilante' work in St. Louis so she wouldn't go stir crazy... something he could relate to. Yet he knew that it would only satisfy her for so long. Right now, though, wasn't the time to think about work, it was the time to celebrate! Which reminded him... where in the hell was their godbrother at!?

"Are you kidding!?" Whitley replied as she then gave her brother a hug that would have crushed anyone who was human; "I'm finally out of there! And now I can join the family business!"

Troy chuckled at his sister's enthusiasm before replying. "Let's start with celebrating first, then we can discuss business, which is something we'll also need Tony for, and speaking of which..."

"He's late is he." Whitley assumed, forming a small frown in the process.

Before her brother could respond, another voice did.

"Fashionably late, might I say, but wouldn't it have killed them to add some fireworks, jazz it up a bit." The siblings both rolled their eyes in amusement as they then turned around to see a man about the age of twenty-four yet was only about an inch or two taller than Whitely, he was dressed in a black suit that probably cost a lot of money, along with a white vest under it, a red tie, and black dress shoes. His black hair was slightly slicked back, with a bit of it standing up, and he was wearing red shades over his eyes. Lastly was the small beard and mustache combo he had on his face, and a knowing smirk on his face.

He was Tony Stark, genius, billionaire, philanthropist, owner of Stark Industries, one of the most powerful companies in the world, and Troy and Whitley's godbrother. When Tony lost his parents, it was the Feral kids' dad, Amorak, who took Tony in, especially when the then sixteen-year-old started acting out when it came to how he took said the death of his parents.

When he took over Stark industries six years ago, he made big money from the weapons department, but due to the fact that his god-siblings, who had then just lost their parents as well, were staying with him at the time, he didn't bother being the playboy that the press saw him as.

Then came the fateful day, the day that changed Tony's life forever. Four years ago, he was in Afghanistan, showing off his newest model of missiles, when one of his own missiles struck the group, he was with, implanting quite a bit of shrapnel in his chest. He was then held in a cave for four months by terrorists, who worked for the criminal organization known as The Light, to build them missiles. He instead made an arc reactor in his chest and a suit of armor that would help him gain his freedom, just as Troy came bursting through the cave wall, with him having spent the past four months hunting for Tony like a madman.

When they made it back to the States, Tony closed down his weapons branch of the company, and not long after, made another suit, swore to take every weapon he ever created and destroy it. It was then when he became Iron Man.

"It's good to see you, Tony," Troy said as he walked up and hugged the older man, with Tony returning it.

Tony smirked. "Good to know I'm missed," he replied before the hug was broken and Whitley gave him a hug. "And congratulations on finally being free from this place. By the way, that position is still open if you want it." he added.

"Appreciate it Tony, but we can discuss business after we celebrate." The only girl in the group said as the three-headed for the parking lot where a red and gold Ferrari and a black and blue customized '98 Chevy Silverado, and lastly a yellow 2008 Chevy Camaro with a black stripe going over the hood.

"If we were going to just meet at the homestead, why did we all take our own rides?" Tony asked.

Troy shrugged, but he secretly knew why. "You came from New York, and Whitley refused to let me drive her to her graduation."

Whitley grinned wildly as she made her way to the Camaro, lifting the keys up as she unlocked it while the younger lycanthrope shouted out. "Last one there has to pay for the pizza!" The two men rolled their eyes as they then headed to their respective rides, they had some celebrating to get started on.

It was now nightfall, and the Cravens Homestead, a large farm area a few miles outside of St. Louis, was rather quiet as the three young adults were now sitting on the porch, with over three dozen boxes of pizza laying around them, mainly from Troy and Whitley. Tony just looking at them incredulously. "Wow... still find it hard that you two can eat that much and still look fit."

"Metabolism, bub." Troy spoke up, "metabolism." A burp that wasn't very ladylike came from his sister, making him chuckle.

Then something came to mind as he then looked up to his got a bit more serious and asked. "So, you think we should get down to business now?"

Tony shrugged. "If that's what you want, but here's the good news... I found some good candidates, took a while to find most of them, but in the end, I think we have who we need."

Whitley, who looked between her brother and their god-brother in confusion, then asked with a raised eyebrow; "What are you two talking about?"

Troy looked over to Tony, with the billionaire nodding towards the only girl present before the Wolf of Lightning spoke up. "Well, do you remember those stories dad told us about his old unit, The Renegades?"

Despite being confused over what that had to do with anything, his little sister nodded. "Yeah, back when dad and Uncle Howard were running that one organization, what was it called again?"

"SPARTAN," Tony answered. "An organization made to combat threats from Earth, Space, or that one Dimension the Immortals come from."

"The Renegades were the most elite of this organization, with Uncle Howard running things from behind the scenes, dad had his own unit, consisting with mom, a feral mutant, two ex-Marines, an assassin, a Spirit of Vengeance, a demi-goddess, and a Lethal Protector. Never had they had a failed mission, but then something happened a year or so before I was born that caused the whole organization to disappear, with some of dad's unit either disappearing or falling off the grid completely."

"Then a few months ago," Tony continued. "Shock Pup here asked me if it was possible if we made our own team that did the same job as the old Renegades. Which now takes us to this current conversation." Tony then pulled out a tablet before setting it on the table and then clicking the extend button. "Jarvis, open up Project: Renegades."

"Right away, sir." replied Jarvis, Tony's personal A.I., as the tablet then went holographic as several separate images appeared, with each showing different files. The first three were of those titled Stormwolf, Nine Tails, and Iron Man, though it was the other ones that got Troy's attention.

"You finally found Venom's new host?" Troy asked intrigued as they have been trying to find his identity for months, with Tony smirking.

The billionaire then pulled up the file, showing an all too familiar anti-hero, doing battle with two of the symbiote's 'children'... Anti-Venom and Carnage. While the older symbiote was holding his own with tactics and experience, the two younger ones seemed a lot stronger.

Though, there was also another file in this one, one that showed a young man, slightly younger than Whitley, with dark brown hair, green eyes, and dressed in mostly black attire which included jeans, a t-shirt, a black leather jacket, a bandanna around his neck, boots, and fingerless gloves, sitting in a shop with a blonde with grey eyes and her hair up in a ponytail, dressed in blue jeans, a black shirt, and a brown leather jacket. "His name is Drake Maverick, nephew of Matilda O'Brian, the former Tomahawk."

"Seriously? Marcus has a cousin? I thought his uncle died when the Creed was wiped out?" Whitley asked in surprise as she and her brother looked at the footage, and then at the young man, about seventeen years old, in the photo. "Where does he operate at?"

"Gotham."

Tony's answer made Troy's eyebrow raise. "For how long?"

"Nearly two years."

That was really surprising to the young Stormwolf. "The Bat's city?" he said in a questioning tone before adding a grin with a chuckle. "He has a serious set of balls, that's for sure."

Whitley nodded in agreement. "Anything else we got about him?"

"Well, his girlfriend works for the Arrow." Tony said as he then pulled up a file about the blonde. "Artemis Crock, daughter of The Sportsmaster and Tigress, and younger sister of Cheshire. Decided to go straight as the sidekick of the Green Arrow and is currently a member of the Justice League's little strike team of sidekicks. Yet, when she's with Venom..." A clip was then played with her and Venom fighting an arms dealership, with her covering Venom's back with kill shots to every shot she made, the arrows hitting skull and chest, and several in the throat as well.

"Kinda like Mr. Queen in his first year?" Troy mused. The reason they knew who each member of the League was due to Tony when he hacked into the League's systems on a dare that was actually meant to be a joke from Troy, but the genius took it personally and did it for the hell of it. Troy had the most interest in Oliver Queen, a.k.a. The Green Arrow. He wasn't sure why, but it was like he should know him from somewhere, but he just kept it to the side for the most part.

"Yeah, before he decided to be less shoot first," Tony said before he pressed on a different file, one that was labeled 'New York Shapeshifter'. That peeked the siblings' interests as numerous different pictures appeared on the screen, of several strange-looking creatures, including a bipedal jackal, an orange dragon, a strange-looking rodent with a lightning bolt-shaped tail, and a humanoid frog that resembled a ninja. All of them seemed to have one thing in common... the circular symbol that was on each creatures' chest.

It got a nod from her brother before he turned to Tony; "I take it you've already started figuring out who he is?"

"Way ahead of you, Troy," Tony said as he then scrolled through and an image of a young man about Whitley's age with unruly black hair that was slightly spiked and had chocolate brown eyes. He was also wearing a light blue jacket with white stripes on it, blue jeans, and red and black tennis shoes. He was also decked in navy blue and red fingerless gloves, and on his left wrist was a funny-looking watch, one that had a symbol that was similar to the creatures. "His name is Ash Ketchum, New York Native, and has been at it for almost as long as me. Knows what he's doing now from the footage I've seen, but it seems that his father was a former Army Ranger, deceased due to one of the mobs that have begun to become a real pain... the Rocket Mob."

"Well, he has my vote." Whitley spoke as she looked at the picture on the screen, with Troy giving her a raised eyebrow.

He then looked to Tony. "Yeah, he'll fit right in. Just gotta keep Whitley's hormones under check," he added with a hint of humor as he and Tony laughed with him before his little sister punched him in the arm.

Tony rolled his eyes in amusement at the sight before moving to two files labeled 'New Ghost Rider' and 'She-Wolverine'. "Well... these two are actually something that interests me, seeing that they have similar comparisons to two of the OG Renegades." He then clicked on the first one, where it revealed a young man about a year older than Troy with a buzzed cut head of brown hair and a small, black beard and was dressed in a black leather jacket and black leather jeans, boots, and gloves, on the jacket was what looked to be a silver rectangle with the bottom line missing from it. The young man was leaning against a black Charger.

"This is Robbie Reyes, the current Spirit of Vengeance. L.A. Native, but for him and his brother moved to Gotham a little over two years ago, he occasionally works with Venom and Artemis, but he mainly works with her due to their traveling styles."

As he said this, he pulled up the other file, and it showed a young woman with long raven black hair and green eyes and was wearing slightly ripped jeans and a black leather jacket along with black leather boots. "This here, from what I managed to find, it Laura Kinney, the biological daughter of one James Howlett... The Wolverine."

"So, Logan's still alive." Troy muttered. "and has a kid. In the stories, dad never made Logan sound like the type to settle down."

"I like her style," Whitley stated out loud.

Troy glanced at her before saying. "I said you could try it, I'm not dad after all, but you were all like 'I don't think the shredded pants are for me'."

"Wasn't blaming you, bub, but you aren't wrong," she admitted with a huff that was more like a pout at herself.

"Well from what I found out, she's actually a clone of him." Tony spoke up, getting surprised looks from the siblings. "Weapon X wanted to make a clone of their greatest asset, and out came X-23... Laura Kinney. She was their top assassin until she ran into Logan, who both freed her and set her straight. Now she's either with them in a property I've tracked them to up in Upstate New York or traveling around with flame head."

"So, this is also proving that we need to take care of certain organizations almost immediately, right?" Troy asked as he now crossed his arms.

Whitley nodded; "Pretty much." she then took a sip of her soda as she did so.

"I got some more good news," Tony said as Jarvis then pulled up the next profile. "Found out that Matilda and Josh's kid also decided to put on the hood," he said as he then showed an image of a man in a suit similar to the one that the old Tomahawk worn, but more advanced looking.

"So Marcus did put the suit on," Whitley said with a grin as an image of a young mixed man with short black hair and a suit was on the screen.

Tony nodded with a smirk. "He's been active for about a year now but has proved to be just as proficient as Batman in hand to hand and weaponry, but just as lethal as Deathstroke. Boston has been calling him both a hero and a killer. Hell, even the Bat has tried hunting him."

"Really hard to hunt someone who's trained by the Tomahawk and Ultra-X, speaking of which, any proof that he used the nanites like his old man does?" Troy asked as he sat up, interests peeked.

Tony shook his head; "Would be able to know unless I was close enough for my scanners to make a bio-scan, and then I'd have to pinpoint exactly where the nanites are located before I can make such a scan, because they may try to cloak-"

"Hide themselves?" Troy assumed, getting a nod from the genius billionaire. He loved the man like a brother, but he could barely understand the science talk all things considered.

"Though, it may appear that our assassin has gained the attention of an Amazon," Tony said with a sly smirk.

Putting his hand over his face, Troy then spoke up; "Do I even wanna know?"

"That because of it that we have the real possibility of having an Amazon to our ranks?" Tony asked. "Then yeah, probably."

"You're serious?" Whitley asked in surprise.

Tony, instead of answering, pulled up a piece of footage where Tomahawk was fighting side-by-side with a young woman who the three could recognize as Donna Troy, also known as Wonder Woman's sidekick, Wonder Girl. The only difference here was that she was actually using a different set of armor than her usual red, it was more of a black color, and she, along with Tomahawk, was taking down members of what was recognized as a newer clan of ninjas known as the Shadow Clan in one of Boston docking warehouses.

"So is she doing this in secret with him, or has she cut ties with the League?" Troy asked after a moment of seeing the two work, and he was indeed impressed.

"She's still with the younger team, though she's the oldest of them, Artemis must be keeping it secret as well, since she is also still on that team," Tony answered, getting a nod from the taller man before he noticed a familiar symbol coming up from the next file...

"I thought we agreed that Kryptonians were just gonna bring in trouble?"

"And why is he labeled SuperBat?" Whitley asked.

Tony had Jarvis opened the file before the A.I. spoke up."Mr. Stark ordered the name due to this individuals powers and personality matching quite well between Mr. Kent and Mr. Wayne."

Troy and Whitley both looked to Tony in question before it was Whitley who asked. "Mind explaining?"

"When I started trying to find where Venom was located." Tony started, "I started looking through his old stomping grounds in San Francisco, but instead of Venom... I found 'The Blur', someone who moves so fast that all you can see is a red and blue blur. At first, I thought it was a speedster before I realized that most speedsters have a trail of lightning, so when I made a business trip to California a few months ago... well I managed to catch him with a slow-motion camera. This is what I got..."

The image that Jarvis then pulled up was of a young man about a year or two younger than Troy with black hair, blue eyes, and a more militarized suit of something Superman would be wearing. "So that makes Superman, Superboy, Power Girl... and this 'Blur' or as you like calling him, SuperBat. So, what makes him different from Superman and the cloned son?"

"He's the adoptive son of Trigger, David Callahan" Tony brought up, which then got the siblings' attention.

It was then, with his arms crossed, that Troy nodded in approval. "Alright, alright, but I'm gonna recruit him myself, and I wanna see this SuperBat in action for myself."

"Testosterone." Whitley coughed out before she noticed the look her brother was giving, all the while an amused grin was on Tony's face, just as the next file was pulled up.

"Well, here I bring you New York's longest-running vigilante... The Night Watcher." As Tony said that, a large, armored figure covered the screen, one that resembled a large, armored turtle. Then video footage of this vigilante taking out thugs with combative chains and others with him fighting a werebear with a pair of sais. From what they were seeing, he was quite proficient in the art of combat.

"He looks like a giant, metal turtle," Whitley voiced the opinion of herself and her brother. Troy turned to Tony; "Any luck in getting an I.D. on him?"

"Nothing," Tony said, surprising the siblings, "no matter how hard I try, he covers his tracks like it's nothing. It's like he doesn't even exist. Just like this guy," Tony added as he then pulled up yet another armored individual appeared on the hologram, he was a large man, and was destroying a Middle Eastern base. "Not much is known about this guy other than the fact he's military and... as much as it pains me to say it, his armor is more advanced than mine."

"How's that possible!?" Whitley asked in shock, as she was the one who helped out with Tony's armor when she's up in New York, and she knew how advanced his armor is, no one, not even Wayne Tech, has any technology as advanced as his suits, at least not that she's aware of. How could an unknown soldier have more advanced armor than him!?

Tony sighed; "I don't know, but I'd like to find out, but first, I at the least know where he's based at." Tony then pulled up some coordinates and showed that the man was based in an isolated area up in Montana.

Troy nodded after thinking it over. "He may not be of this Earth, you did say that the League fought an evil version of themselves, right?"

The question was directed to Tony, who nodded in response, "Yeah, and if my old man's research of the Dark Dimension brings any light, then it's connected to every Earth in the Multiverse."

"So if he is a castaway on a foreign Earth..." Whitley started.

"We could help him get home," Troy finished with a nod before he noticed the last three files. "What are these three?"

Tony looked at the three files in question and sighed. "These are the three that I think might get the League on us, as well as that organization they're at war with..." He then opened the first one and it was an all too familiar Jade Giant. "The Hulk, who doesn't know about the rage monster who is also Dr. Bruce Banner, a world-renowned expert in Gamma Radiation, and ended up getting a face full of it, which resulted in the angry giant we know today. Yet there is something the public doesn't see that I think is just disgusting."

The billionaire was quiet for a moment before Whitley spoke up. "Tony, what is it?"

"They don't even give him a chance," Tony spat out when he looked to the hologram. "Jarvis, play it."

"As you wish sir." Jarvis replied as the footage was then played, showing a group of terrorists in one of the South American countries, about to blow a building, and from what the screams sounded like, there were children inside. Then, from out of nowhere, a giant green fist struck one of the men, and then it showed the Hulk tanking the bullets and even an RPG rocket as he kept himself between the shooters and the civilians, all the while taking out as many of the terrorists as he could before a sonic boom was heard and suddenly the Hulk was tackled by none other than Superman, and following it up was the rest of the Justice League, and then the footage was cut off.

"What happened after?" Troy asked.

"They wrecked the place," Tony answered, "Hulk nearly got too angry to stop until Green Arrow and Black Canary actually gave him the chance to escape. The League wasn't too happy about it, but civilians were starting to get in the way, and they come first."

Whitley then spoke up; "Something tells me we aren't gonna like the last two entries, are we?"

"For who they are, yes," Tony spoke up, "but how they came to be... let's just say Superboy got the easy end of things." Tony then pulled up the past two files in which opened sub-files known as 'Project Titan' and 'Project Vorhees'.

What proceeded to be shown were files and other documents of what they did, but it was something on the Project Titan file that caused thunder to be heard overhead. "So you're telling me, that Laura Stevens, the only Demi-God our parents ever trusted, was kidnapped and forced to mother the son of Godzilla," he said, and in a livid tone.

Tony nodded. "He pretty much turns into a miniature version of his dad, and the woman he's with is like a more alive version of Jason Vorhees, but female and no deformed features. Seems they stick around the coasts though, avoiding major places all things considered. Smart, League's been after them ever since they've been labeled as a threat due to Luthor."

"I hate that bald prick," Whitley mumbled.

Tony smirked at the comment. "We all do."

Troy was looking at the two people in the photos, one was a young man about a year younger than him with charcoal-colored hair and scarlet, orange eyes, along with a young woman with baby blue eyes and reddish-brown eyes. The two seemed to be hiding from the world for a while... Troy was gonna help change that. "Tomorrow, we start recruitment. I'll go to San Francisco, talk to this Blur figure, then I'll talk to the Chief, and then send me coordinates in where these two were last seen. Tony, fly to Boston, talk to Marcus, if we're lucky Wonder Girl will be with him, then find Banner, see if he'll be willing to help, and then I'll need you in Gotham to speak to Venom and possibly Artemis if she's with him. Whitley, you're heading to the Big Apple, talk to the shapeshifter, find the Night Watcher, and then see if you can track Ghost Rider... this Laura Kinney will be with him."

"Got it Shock Pup, me and Icy here will be on that first thing in the morning," Tony said in mock salute, which made Troy's eyes roll in amusement, just as the hologram disappeared.

Whitley then picked up her soda and spoke. "For now, though, I'd rather spend the rest of the evening with my two favorite people."

"Awe, she does appreciate us." Tony joked with Troy chuckling as he held up his drink.

"Soon enough, she won't be the only one." Troy said as he looked out into the night. "For soon, the whole world will know." As he looked out into the night, Troy's eyes shined as dark blue lightning dance in his eyes.

It would soon be their time, but for now, it was peace.

Hope you all enjoy this wonderful chapter. If you all haven't noticed that when they introduced the anti-heroes in the beginning we did the same order when Tony explains the recruitments. Tell us is if you spotted any other surprises.
