Hey everyone. So yes, here we are, something that made me question myself on how to make it work. After reading a few books here and there, I thought 'I can do this, just do it in three parts, and you are good to go.'. So yeah, I never expected this to happen to be honest, but here we are.

Now, I ask for anyone to keep voting on the polls as the winner of the votes will receive the bonus chapter and then we will scramble for another added chapter.

So hope you enjoy the first chapter, as it isn't very long, but the second one it will be slightly longer.

Disclaimer: I don't own Danmachi, nor the characters

Chapter 1: Saved

Alfia woke up and stretched a bit. She pondered if she was supposed to die today, or better yet 7 years ago, but it wasn't the case. She survived her last encounter somehow, escaping with barely anything left and ended up back at the surface of Orario. She swore she saw the spell hit her as the flame consumed her.

She accepted her death, but it seems that fate had other plans for her.

She awoke in a home with an old woman, taking care of her until her health was good enough to walk and such. She did repay her by taking care of her, before she left.

To this day, she doesn't know who pulled her out of the floors of the Dungeon, but she will use this second chance to live.

Since then, she kept herself low on profile, dyed her hair black and found a potion shop to change her eye color to blue. Since then, she works in a tailor store repairing clothes all day with a decent pay. She pondered how she was able to survive all those years, she assumed the disease would have consumed her.

She was wrong.

She thus far enjoyed the job as there wasn't a lot of noise, as she still detest noise. She wondered how her nephew was doing. She wondered if he is either being a farmer or anything that is not adventuring.

She is concerned about him and his behavior being influenced by a certain perverted god. She prays that he doesn't end up like her brother-in-law or worse. Knowing Zeus, he would corrupt the young child and make him a womanizer, and that is something she can't accept.

Even then, she couldn't search for him in the distance as her Faulna was acting up. She is able to live a long life no doubt, but it seems that her powers have waned slowly and assumed either Hera is going through risk and danger or it has to do with the disease. She can't exactly tell and it has been bothering her for some time.

She should find a trusting god or goddess to take a look at what is going on with her. She hoped it could be fixed.

She ate a light breakfast and got ready to work. She placed her cloak on wearing her black dress and walked toward her work. She began to remember some orders she had to finish. A dress that needed an alteration, boots fixed up.

It is the life of a tailor.

"Well, well. Look what we have here boys!"

She was surrounded by a number of men around her. If she was able to use her magic, they would run for it, but her abilities got weaker. She knew she had to just go into a crowded place and she should be fine.

"I have things to worry about than you." She kept walking, but was blocked by a larger man.

"On the contrary, we are going to have some fun."

Before she could run, she was grabbed from behind and held. She tried to fight it off until she felt a knife behind her.

"Ah, ah….None of that."

They removed her cloak as the men were awed with her body on her clothes. Her body would rival that of a goddess. She took care of herself by dieting and exercising.

"You must be hiding all those nice assets on those clothes. We are lucky today, boys!"

She wanted out. She was frightened of what they would do to her.

"Help me…."

Just as the thug had his knife out and ready to rip her top off, a man spoke "Let her go!"

They turned and saw a white haired teen with red eyes, wearing light pieces of armor on him. He had his knife out, looking serious.

They laughed and mocked him.

"Hehe….who the hell does he think he is? Leave this place kid, or you will get the beating of your life."

"Last chance….let her go." The gleam of his red eyes made some of them nervous. Something about him screams 'High level adventurer'. They knew this teenager wasn't someone they should joke around.

"That's it kid, you're dead!"

He ran right at him, knife on hand, but the young man easily dodged it. He disarmed him and knocked him out. The others ran right at him and he fought them. The last one threw the older woman to the side and waited his turn to jump in.

Alfia watched in awe on the white haired teen, fighting them off as if it was nothing. He was fast and strong. He was brave as well, reminding her of a friend former comrade she had years back. She was amazed how graceful he is on his movements. He kicked one of them across the face, knocking him out. The second one was disarmed and a punch took him out. The third tried to stop him but was thrown hard and landed hard on his back, taking him out. It was just the main thug. He ran right at him with a sword.

The white haired teen just broke his sword. One hit later, the last thug fell on the ground and was done.

The young man then looked at the woman and smiled softly "Are you okay?"

She nodded as she was helped up. He was surprised she was slightly taller than her and was beautiful. Black hair, blue eyes, he felt his mouth dry up a bit. His heartbeat was getting a little faster.

"Yes. Thank you for saving me."

"Glad to help out. D-do you want me to escort you home?" he asked.

"Oh, no. I am actually heading to work." She felt a bit flustered about this man. She didn't know why she felt this way. He was young, but a good looking one.

Like a rabbit.

"But….isn't it better if you rest up. I mean after what happened to you-"

"It's okay." She smiled softly "Plus, being at work will help me ease my mind. This will also show my boss why I ran a little late when you escorted me."

Her smile. Such a beautiful smile as Bell stared at her for a bit. "Right. Let me know when you are ready to go."

She grabbed her cloak and put it on. "What about them?" She pointed at the knocked out thugs.

The white haired teen noticed a member of Ganesha patrolling with another member as well.

He waved at them and they went to investigate. After learning what happened, they were able to bring a few other members for the arrest.

He then escorted her to her work place. "I didn't expect my day would be like this."

"Me neither. I just came back from training, and it seems that I have been improving."

They were silent for a bit until she asked "What level are you?"

"Oh, I'm a level 3. I am part of Hestia's Familia by the way."

She tilted her head. She never heard of the name Hestia, but assumed it was a familia starting off, but seems to do well.

"Are you by any chance the captain?"

He nodded, "It hasn't been easy for me, but I am learning to do my best."

"You are amazing though. Brave enough to save the little old me." She looked ahead.

He blinked and looked at her "You don't look old to me."

She blushed a little, almost tripping. "Y-you are just saying that to be nice to me."

"Not really. You look beautiful." He surprised himself when he blurted it out. He blushed and looked up, while scratching the back of his head.

She looked away as her heart raced a bit. "Ummm….it has been a while someone is telling me about it. But you seem far more sincere."

He blushed "Oh….sorry about that." He bowed.

"No, that is fine."

They arrived at a small building with a symbol of a needle with a ball of threads on.

"Here we are." She pointed out.

An old man came out, along with two more workers. "What happened Alfia?"

"Oh. Well you see, some thugs tried to do harm to me, but the gentlemen here saved me."

The older man looked at the white haired teen and nodded "I saw him win a Wargame, so good job."

"T-thank you sir." He bowed respectfully. They went inside.

Bell looked at the woman in question and smiled.

"Do you work until nighttime?" He asked

She nodded.

"I can escort you back home."

She looked a bit embarrassed "You don't have to."

"Just wanted to protect you, making sure you are safe. I don't mind." He smiled softly.

"That smile. My heart is going faster. Why, though? Something about him seems familiar about him, but yet I can't point my finger to it."

"I have to go now. I don't want my goddess to start to worry about me."

She nodded and shook his hand and did as well. "What is your name?"

"Alfia. Yours?"

"Bell."

He then left as she smiled at herself.

"Bell….what a nice name."

She began to head to work.

As the hours passed, Alfia couldn't stop thinking about Bell. Bell, already in the Dungeon with his Familia, couldn't stop thinking about Alfia either.

Both wanted to see each other again.

Blue Pharmacy
Cassandra was finishing cleaning up the store, then she stopped.

A young teenage boy and a woman would show their love to one another. Happiness is there, but a messenger brings in the news and they are distraught by it, learning the truth. They become disgusted by it as the boy blinded his eyes and the woman was found in a tree hanged on a noose due to her shame.

Her vision ended and grew concerned. A familiarity was placed on the boy, but the woman was unknown. She felt she had to keep an eye open on a certain white rabbit if it was him.

To be continued….

A/N: Yeah. The reason I hadn't said about the incest warning has to do is that nothing has happened yet. So, no warning was needed. Added the Cassandra bit as I felt that her visions play out something of a possible future. Possible.

Now, tomorrow, I will release the bonus chapter for Eternity, as that one won the poll event.

The next chapter for A Brighter Future will be released around this week, so keep an eye open.

And I think that is it, next chapter will have Bell and Alfia having a small date and Hermes bringing news to Alfia about her nephew. See ya!
