Hey everyone. Sorry for the delay, work has been making it difficult. What is tough though is that one of the security guards was almost assaulted. Thankfully he is shaken but fine, along with the others. Police did arrive, but the guy is gone and it sucks we can't really do much. Living in a state where we are basically handcuffed to stop perps from doing damage sucks. All I can do is just watch and pray that it ends.

Anyways, I saw the poll and Am I Ugly won. So that is the bonus chapter I will work on this week and we will see how that plays out.

Okay, so we got that out of the way, let's do this.

Chapter 2: A Date with Destiny

Alfia stared at the mirror and began to brush her hair, and was excited for her first date with Bell.

It has been two weeks since she was rescued by the white haired adventurer and since then, she began to get to know him. She felt comfortable about him for some reason. She rarely ever showed any interest in anyone, until now.

She assumed it was her loneliness that was involved. She barely made any talks about anything with either customers or her co-worker. She was basically pretty much just focused on a few things. Until Bell came along and chatted a bit. She learned a bit about him.

Came in with nothing but the clothes on his back, and taken by a goddess who worked a part-time job. Over time, they grew in a short time from his leveling up on his Minotaur to the War-Games.

She was impressed by how far his adventurers made it.

She found the perfect clothes for the date and smirked about it.

"Oh Meteria, if only you could see your sister, falling in love with a handsome and soon to be strong young man." She giggled "I had a sense the man is into older women."

She went to change into the clothes for the big date. She looked at the dark blue dress and twirled a bit. She giggled.

"Oh dear. Zald would tell me to relax, but I am so excited!"

She made sure she was all set and closed the door.

Hearth Mansion

Bell looked at his clothes and looked good enough for a date.

It was difficult for him as his goddess went crazy about a date he was heading. He sighed at how his goddess would ask about who it was and such. He wished he could just accept the date for now.

Who knows if it will go well or not.

He noticed Haruhime looked a little sad and wondered if she was okay.

Lilli wasn't much of a help as she looked sadder and sadder.

Welf gave a pat on his back and wished him luck on the date as Mikoto did as well.

As he was changing, a few thoughts entered his mind. How did he manage to feel this way to a woman? How did he gain all this confidence in a woman who was once an adventurer, before she retired? Why did he feel oddly different from her?

He is trying to figure out this woman, even for those two weeks they met. She did say something about having a nephew around his age and wished she could see him. Sadly though, she had no idea where he was.

If he had a way to do it, he would go without any hesitation to make her smile more.

For now though, he had to get ready to head out. Black buttoned up shirt with black pants, he looked ready to go.

He noticed no one was around and left the manor.

Within the manor, Hestia looked at the updated status for him. An unknown skill was added:

Blood Ties- Increases physical and spell attacks as long as their bonded kin is alive. Immune to diseases.

She pondered what it meant by that? "Where did you get this skill Bell? What does it mean by bonded kin?" She growled in frustration "Does it have to do with the mysterious woman? That Alfia woman?"

She pouted cutely and released a frustrated sigh. "It can't be helped…."

In the streets

"You seem to have a hard time sleeping lately, Cassandra." Daphne pointed out.

And she was correct. She looked a little pale and her eyes showed the lack of sleep she has been suffering for the past few days.

Her dreams involved two things she saw.

A young man and an older woman showing how they care for one another, only for the messenger to appear.

The young man stabbed his eyes out and the woman was hung outside on a tree. Both due to shame and could never live with it. One lived for the rest of the days for it, while the other is long gone.

The second one was as tragic as the first one.

It has the same thing, but instead they would go into the room and would show their love to one another.

A woman in the tower would see it all and would let the world know of a shame. Shame that Cassandra is trying to figure out.

Both would run to the ends of the earth, leaving a heart broken girl with dark hair and white dress, watching the hearth crumble to pieces, along with 4 children walking in a path filled with nightmares.

She needed to figure out if it involved Bell, but she can't put her finger in saying it to him. For some reason, it felt like an invisible wall refusing for her to say it. To warn him, to shout and scream for anything.

Cassandra looked at her friend and smiled sadly. "My dreams are getting worse….I wish I could rest more, but they are becoming worse and….I don't know what to do."

"I am sure you can figure it out. Now come, let's go and see if we can get something to eat. My treat."

The young visionary nodded and followed her.

As they turned the corner, they missed Bell and Alfia walking side by side.

"So Bell, how was your time in the Dungeon?"

"Umm...it was good. I did find a few drop items that were pretty good in use for the blacksmith Welf."

"Oh? I didn't know your familia had a blacksmith?"

He chuckled "Yeah. He is amazing and a great friend."

They arrived at a small restaurant and sat down.

A waiter went over and asked "Welcome to Fleur Restaurant. May I take your order?"

"Yes, I would like the Fish Special." Bell said, "And to drink this red wine."

"I would like the Chicken Bleu and red wine as well."

The waiter got the menu and went to get the orders ready.

Bell and Alfia looked at each other and smiled. "So tell me Bell, is this actually your first date? I would imagine someone as good looking as you, would have already gone on a date."

He blushed a bit "Ummm….I tend to get nervous around girls….to be honest….plus the first so called date was with my goddess, but we ended up running around the city, getting away from other goddesses."

She giggled "Oh my. It must have been an adventure for both of you."

He chuckled a bit "Yeah. It was fun. So yes, I don't think I ever tried it, until you were the first for me."

"Yes, I would say that I never had a proper date at all. Too many battles in my lifetime and never enjoyed it. I would suppose that other familias in the past did desire me, but it didn't felt right yet."

"Oh….was there anyone you liked a lot?"

She looked down and shook her head "Most were too focused on the mission, others wanted an easy one night stand. I just couldn't do that…."

"I don't think….I could do that myself either." Bell was a little hesitant to hold her hands, but Alfia grabbed it gently.

"Not since my sister, I was able to talk about relationships and also my adventurers."

She smiled and caressed his hand, and he smiled softly. He started to feel better about it and felt a good connection about it. Oddly a familiarity of it, but can't put his finger on it.

The food was served and they began to eat. Both enjoying it and each other's company, both smiled softly at the atmosphere, the weather was perfect in the evening, the food was good, and they seemed to enjoy each other very much.

Yet, something lingered on them on those feelings. They couldn't explain it.

"Bell….how do you feel about me?" she asked.

He stopped eating and drank a little. "I will be honest with you, ummm…..you are the first woman that I felt comfortable telling you about, save for my goddess and Haruhime. You are the first woman I felt that I could be with you closely…" He was blushing redder saying all of this.

She held his hands. "I never felt this way to be honest. It does feel strange that I feel comfortable telling you all of this and also being close to you like this. I am happy about being with someone like you."

They stared at one another and then the bill arrived. Bell paid it and both left the restaurant.

They held hands and decided to call it a night, as Bell had to be up early for training.

"Are you sure you can't stay any longer?" She asked.

He shook his head "Sorry, but I have to get stronger. The stronger I become, the easier it is for me to protect those that I care and love."

She blushed as they arrived back at her home.

"Thank you for the wonderful dinner. Maybe we could head to a park and just be with one another?"

Bell smiled softly, "I would like that."

Both looked in each other's eyes. Both were very nervous as they were inching closer and closer.

Then both took the same courage and kissed. Both held the kiss as both got close to their bodies. Both felt wanting more of the kiss, but then both got themselves under control. Both stared and blushed. As they stood back.

"M-Maybe we could do this another day." Bell said shyly.

She nodded "Yes...yes. Have a wonderful night, Bell." She gave a kiss on the cheek and left. Bell smiled widely and was happy that his date was a success and things were looking on up.

But something in part of the back of his mind, a tiny part of it, told him something is wrong. He just decided to deal with it another time.

Unknown location

"Are you sure it was her?"

"Yes, Hermes. I took care of her, before her health improved and left. She is a kind and intelligent woman. She did talk about finding her nephew but had no idea where he was."

The god of messenger smiled widely "Where is she located?"

"Oh. Well if I can remember right, she lives in Daedelus Street. You will find not far off a building near what used to be a fountain. It is a red door, can't miss it."

He paid the woman and thanked her. Once outside he looked at Asfi and smiled.

"Asfi, can you go pick up Bell in the morning on that wall. I will go and pick up Alfia and we can both meet up at that one park where not many people are."

"Of course." She smiled "I am happy you are doing something good for once Lord Hermes."

"Well, I do want to give Bell the motivation to be a better hero. Why not learn from the woman who was part of Hera's Familia."

She nodded and saw this as a positive.

Next day

Alfia was already up and began to think of what to do with Bell. They were getting a bit more touchy lately and wanted more of it.

A knock was heard and pondered who it was.

She opened the door and was surprised to see him.

"Lord Hermes?" She recognized him due to being friends with Zeus.

"Ah, Alfia! It has been a long time!" Hermes was happy to see her, albeit was surprised about the dye on her hair and change of eye color.

"W-what are you doing here?" She looked a bit nervous.

"I have some wonderful news! Your nephew is here in Orario, and I sent Asfi, my lovely captain, to pick him up! Come, let's go meet him now." He was really excited for this moment.

Alfia was shocked hearing this. Her nephew is already in Orario? She looked in the mirror quickly and looked decent.

"Let's go!"

Both then left the home.

Same time in a different part of Orario

"So wait, my aunt is here?!" Bell was excited to hear this. A family member that he never knew existed is here.

Asfi nodded "Lord Hermes worked hard to find her after a number of years. It was thanks to a goddess that confirmed she was alive. Although, I am surprised he is still alive just meeting the goddess in question."

The white haired man was happy. He was hoping to see if she is proud of how far he made it, and maybe introduce her to his girlfriend. And his familia.

Oh what a perfect day this will be.

"I can't wait to see her!"

The captain of Hermes familia smiled at his reaction. It must have been something he wanted to see her.

In the park….

Cassandra and Daphne were sitting on a bench not far off, as Daphne looked slightly impatient.

"I just don't understand how your vision would point to this location."

"It's where the problem starts...I just need to see who it is and help the other person…." which was all Cassandra could say.

They both looked on until both saw Hermes was with a woman with dark hair and dark dress, looking happy.

Cassandra then saw the last person she wanted to see.

Bell was with Asfi and was approaching them.

"No…."

Both groups met and both were shocked to see each other.

"Alfiai, meet your nephew Bell Cranel. Bell, meet your Aunt Alfia."

To be continued…..

A/N: Oh dear, what path would this take I wonder. What ends would it be between Bell and Alfia? Would it lead to the shame and self-destruction of their lives? Would they hide their relationship, only for something worse to come by?

At this point, I don't really know how this will end. It might take around this week to write up the ending. I did say it was going to be only three parts or three chapters if you will, as my intention was to end it on one-shot, but it can't be done like that at all.

On the last chapter, we will see what path will end up and the aftermath.

Until then, laters!
