It's morning, and Shredder is having breakfast, topless, while Rose gazes at him admiringly, and lovingly. Occasionally, they each look at their left ring fingers, on which wedding rings had appeared as they Bonded, and smile.
When Shredder is almost fully dressed, he takes Rose in his arms and kisses her deeply.
When he comes up for air, Rose says breathlessly, "I can't believe you'd never even kissed anyone before me; you seemed so experienced last night."
"I hadn't met the right woman."
Rose beams at him. He kisses her again, dons his helmet and mask, and says, "Let's go and introduce you to Krang and the others."
Before they've taken more than a few steps, however, Ezekiel appears before them.
"It is time."
And with that, he and Rose vanish.
They reappear in a plain white room, much as the one Rose found herself in after her death. Ezekiel gets straight to the point, "It's not too late for you; you have one last chance."
In the Technodrome, Shredder is pacing to and fro, his concern for Rose obvious. When she reappears before him he grabs her and holds her as though it's the last time.
"What happened? Are you alright?"
"I'm fine."
"What will they do to you?"
"Nothing, for twenty-four hours. If you don't change your ways by then, I will become one of the Fallen."
"What does that mean?"
"Exile, basically. I will permanently reside on Earth, and be forever out of favour."
"I won't allow that to happen. You'll see; I'll be a changed man."
Rose pulls back to smile at him, and he removes his mask and helmet and kisses her passionately.
