(Hey Guys, true to my word I have posted this week. This chapter is like 1,200 words more than my recent chapters, but that is because there was a lot I wanted to get done in this chapter. I got some important stuff to say in the bottom A/N s make sure to read that if you weren't going to already. Well yeah, I hope you enjoy the chapter.)
All Roses Have Thorns
Karma POV:
Previously:
As the two stood up, a rush of energy filled the cavern. Karma looked toward the source, and his face moved into a grin.
"You feel that?" Karma asked letting go of Gonen.
"Yes I do," Gonen said, grabbing his spear.
"It seems we have struck gold. The aura down here is stronger than the wick's. It has to be the sword," Karma said, unsheathing his sword.
"Can we take it, we got demolished by the wick," Gonen said. Karma's eyes started to glow.
"There is only one way to find out".
Present:
Karma and Gonen waited for Dara to wake up, before filling her in on the theory that the sword might be in the cavern. Expecting Dara to refuse because of the recent events, the two were surprised to see no resistance to their idea. Instead, she silently nodded and got up to move.
During the trip to the sword, she didn't talk much. Karma supposed it made sense. It looked like Finn meant a lot to her, and the fact that he deceived her must have hurt. She seemed to be deep in her thoughts, and Karma decided to let her be. A moment alone in one's mind could be very useful.
On the other side of the spectrum, the talk he had with Gonen had been very beneficial. He got to know the man a little better and learned about this incident he kept hearing about. He was confused as to why he hadn't told Dara yet, but he supposed she had enough on her plate at the moment, and they were about to fight the sword of impurity. The legendary swords weren't known for being a walk in the park.
Karma sighed. These legendary swords were becoming more than he bargained for. It seemed that all good things were shrouded with danger and misfortune. 'Such is my luck' Karma thought to himself.
The group followed the aura signature down the twisting path of the cavern, as the sounds of their footsteps echoed about. They were getting close, Karma could feel it. He was aware that the odds of the group obtaining the sword were not in their favor, but Karma hoped that Gonen could pull whatever "magic trick" he pulled in the earlier fight. With Gonen's power on their side, Karma's skill, and Dara, he hoped they could turn the tides, and put an end to this entire dilemma.
"A few more turns and we are there," Gonen told his comrades. Karma nodded. It was time. The showdown, or so he hoped. He really didn't want a new surprise location, he wanted to get this over with. He took his sword out of his sheath, and the blade began to glow.
"We are going to finish this," Karma declared, head held high. Gonen smiled.
"Let's do this".
The group walked into a large opening in the cave. Glowing stalactites hung from the ceiling, with stalagmites lining the bottom of the room. With the room well lit, Karma could see the sword, suspended from vines from all angles. With the sword in the air, Karma could see that the end of the blade was broken, and a chunk of the sword was missing.
'I'll figure that out later, right now I'll get the sword' Karma thought to himself.
He didn't see any enemies yet, but he knew that it was a matter of time until something came out of the shadows. Proving him right, vines started to sliver out of the corners of the room. They all met together in the middle, forming a body.
"The wick," Gonen said, holding out his spear.
"If we can get the sword, the wick should disappear. That is the priority, but make sure to take care of the wick as well," Karma said. The other two nodded. The wick howled, before sending spiraling tendrils of wood and vines at the group. Karma leaped aside, dodging the attack, before rushing toward the wick.
He jumped up, and swung his sword at the monster, creating a blade of purity that was launched at the wick. The blade cut through offending vines, before striking the wick.
The monster roared and continued its assault on Karma. The wound started to repair itself, and soon it looked like it was never attacked.
'We need to get the sword' Karma thought, and attempted to vapor travel to the sword, but as before his ability wasn't working. 'Doesn't matter' Karma thought to himself, and raised his finger toward the wick, shooting sum steam bullets at the horror's face. The sound of explosions rang through the cavern, as the fighting continued.
On the other side, Gonen and Dara didn't seem to be having any better luck. Gonen's eyes were glowing as he sliced through the never-ending barrage of attacks, and every cut decayed the attached vine. Dara sliced through vines as well, her face knit in concentration. Gonen had energy, but it would run out if he had to continue this. He dashed toward the wick, as thrust his spear forward, stabbing the beast. The vines around the spear began to decay, and the wick was violently shaking around, trying to get Gonen off of itself.
"Karma, grab the sword!" Gonen yelled, trying his best to stay on. Karma nodded and dashed the sword. With a final shake, the wick succeeded in throwing off Karma, before extending its arm toward Karma, trying to prevent him from grabbing the sword. Karma reached forward, and right before the monster could impale him with its hand, Karma's hand reached the hilt. Everything around him was blown away, including the hand, and as Karma gripped the hilt of the sword, he blacked out.
Karma looked around confused. He was in a clear white area, and couldn't see anything for miles. 'Where am I?' Karma thought to himself, looking around. This place seemed familiar, but he couldn't place his finger on why.
That was until he saw a familiar entity. He could now see a bright glowing person, who looked like an exact version of him, other than his creepily wide smile.
'That is the person I saw when I got the pure sword' Karma realized, looking toward the pure Karma.
Karma soon realized that Pure (as he decided to call him) was not looking at Karma, but was instead looking somewhere else. Karma followed his gaze, to see another figure, who looked like another carbon copy of Karma. Instead, this copy had a dark look and was not smiling in the slightest. Not only that, but this Karma was missing an arm, and had a stub protruding from his left shoulder.
"Well well well, if it isn't my old pal, the sword of impurity," Pure exclaimed, his smile somehow getting even wider. The sword of impurity, or as Karma was one calling him Impure, did not seem to share the sentiment.
"Why are you here?" Impure questioned, a menacing scowl on his face.
"I don't know what you are talking about. I was here first," Pure exclaimed giddy, swinging around a sword Karma had not noticed before. It was a similar color to Pure and was glowing just as much.
"Another fool who thinks he can tame both swords huh?" Impure asked, seemingly knowing what had happened. He now had a sword in his hand as well, with similar colors to himself. Pure just shrugged and pointed his sword to Impure.
"Shall we begin?" Pure asked. Impure sighed, and pointed his sword toward Pure.
"I guess so," he replied.
As Karma watched all of this, he noticed he couldn't speak. He tried to say something, to do something, but he could only spectate. Pure and Impure's form started to change. Pure started to grow and sprouted antlers. His hands started to become wings, and he started to grow a beak. More eyes started to form on his face, and soon he was a hulking beast, with antlers, wings, and multiple eyes. Pure screeched and started to flap his wings, his talons in full view.
Impure was also changing, he started to grow a large scaly tail, and his mouth gained rows of razor-sharp teeth. He started to grow scales, and spikes started to protrude from his body. Impure hunched back, and his missing arm stayed a stub, albeit a larger, more spiky one.
Karma was both amazed and horrified at the newfound monsters, and noticed that he could now move again. Karma looked up and looked just in time to see the monsters collide with each other, talons on teeth as the monsters attacked each other.
Karma fell to the ground as the talons of Pure scraped Impure. He held his head tight as he looked up. Their battle was hurting them, that was for sure. Karma got up and tried to think. This battle wasn't going to end well for him no matter who wins. 'Is this why nobody was able to successfully wield both swords' Karma wondered to himself.
He shook his head. It didn't matter, he had to stop this gith. Karma ran toward the fight, and only then did he notice how big those behemoths actually were. He needed a weapon. With his sword missing, Karma formed two ice swords in his hand and launched himself toward the monster. Impure was biting down on Pure's leg, and it was screeching, clawing at Impure with its other talon.
Karma jumped up to attack but was knocked away by the roar of the monsters. The shockwaves were so strong that they blasted Karma away. Karma was struggling to hold on, the longer the creature's battle went on, the weaker Karma got. His head was pounding, and he wasn't sure how much longer he could take this.
"I….have to do this," Karma said to himself, using all of his might to stand up. He looked toward the beasts, and his eyes started to glow. His ice swords started to glow as well, one a light green and one a dark green, the colors of the monsters.
"Aaaaaaah!" Karma screamed and ran toward the beasts. He leaped into the air and solidified the water vapor to launch himself at the monster.
He started to spin, holding his swords out, forming a vortex around him. The vortex got bigger and bigger as he continued to spin faster and faster. The water was a mix of light and dark green and was beginning to mix to become a sparkling green.
"TAKE THIS!" Karma screamed and connected with the beasts, creating an enormous explosion. The monsters didn't even have any time to react before they were enveloped into the swirling mass of liquid. The creatures roared in pain, and they began to change, their glowing body spreading out and going into Karma's ice swords, and into their respective swords. He clenched his hands onto his blades, and the creatures were sucked into his weapon. And with that, he blacked out.
Karma woke up and was hazy until he saw his friends. Dara ad Gonen was backed up against a wall, and things weren't looking good. Karma was surrounded by a sphere of water, and he looked down to see the sword in his hand. Both the pure and impure sword. He had tamed them.
He looked at the impure sword and studied it. A chunk of the sword was missing, and that must have contributed to the missing arm of the sword's form in his mind. He wouldn't be able to beat the wick with the incomplete sword. So where was the last piece? 'The last piece'. Karma's eyes snapped to Gonen. Of course.
Karma dissipated the bubble he was in and rushed toward his friend. Gonen was fending off vines when he noticed his friend rushing toward him.
"Karma, you got the swo-" Gonen started to say but was cut off when Karma impaled his stomach with the impure sword.
"I'm sorry," Karma said, as Gonen lost consciousness.
Gonen POV:
It was early in the morning, and a young mother stood before her child. The woman had dark black hair and dark green eyes. The woman's cheeks were stained with tears, and her breath hitched as she looked at the baby boy.
"Gonen my child, I am so, so sorry," the woman said, trying to contain her tears.
The baby reached its grubby hands out, and his mom gave him her finger, which he grasped. Gonen giggled, as he played with the woman's finger, and the woman smiled, despite the fresh tears rolling down her face. She grabbed the sheathed sword off of her back and pulled out the blade.
The impurity sword stood there in all its glory, and the woman rested it next to her son. She rested one hand on her child, and one hand on her sword, as she began to chant. Her eyes started to glow green, and ancient symbols started to appear on her skin. The woman continued to chant, and the sword began to glow, along with the baby.
The sword began to dissolve, and the glowing pieces began to feed into the stomach of Gonen. As the process continued, the woman started to become weaker and weaker. The sword had a good chunk taken out of it until some noises could be heard.
"Where is she!" a masculine voice yelled, and the sound of rustling bushes could be heard. The woman cursed, and stopped the process, leaving the sword with a missing chunk. She quickly scooped up her baby and looked at the sword. Deciding against it, she ran away from the area, baby in hand.
She rushed to her final location, picking up her pace when she heard her assailants yell in anger and the unmistakable clang of metal against the ground.
Her baby was still slightly glowing, and the woman was so close to getting to the village. She just needed to move a little bit faster.
There! She found the entrance. The woman looked at her baby knees last time, and gave him a quick kiss, before putting the baby on the floor. She could feel her life force draining away, but she couldn't die yet.
She ran toward the spot where she rested her sword, determination coursing through her veins.
"Hey uglies!" she screamed, rushing toward her enemies. The men's faces twisted in disgust, and one of the guys pulled out a gun.
"Die!" she screamed. The man fired his shot, and it struck the woman in the chest. The men smiled until they noticed the grin on the women's face.
"Time's up," she said, before falling on the ground.
The men looked around confused, until they noticed vines crawling out of her body.
"Watch out!" one of them screamed, but it was too late. Vines shot out of her body, impaling the men around her. The sound of screams filled the air, as the vines continued to crawl around the surrounding area. The vines enveloped the woman until she was completely covered in vines. She looked down at her hand, and sharpened her fingers, before screaming out.
The only surviving individual was silent. Color drained from his face, and he was stuttering.
"The wick!" the man screamed, before having his head bitten off by the woman, his lifeless body falling to the ground. The creature looked out, before letting out another guttural scream.
Karma POV:
Gonen let out a cry as Karma impaled him, and was surprised to not have his guts spilling out onto the floor. Instead, Karma started to extract his sword, with parts of the blade that were definitely missing before now on the blade, glowing. Karma retracted the sword, it now repaired, and turned to Gonen.
"Get Dara out of here, I got this," Karma told him, turning to the wick.
Gonen's eyes were no longer glowing, and he seemed surprised by that. He looked like he wanted to refuse, but he could feel the power rolling off Karma.
"Ok," Gonen said, walking to Dara, telling her that they had to get out of here.
Karma faced toward the wick, waiting for his friends to get away. The wick seemed to be doing so as well. As soon as they left, Karma opened his mouth.
"I know," Karma said, looking deep into the wick's eyes. The creature did nothing but stand there, not making a sound.
"It must hurt so much, not being in control," Karma continued, sheathing the purity sword. He held out the sword of impurity and it began to glow a dark color.
"You may rest now, no hurt will come to your child, and the sword is in safe hands," Karma said, resting the sword on the ground gently. The wick continued to stare before it started to glow. The vines began to unravel, and seep into the ground, and when all the vines were gone, a glowing figure remained. The woman Karma had seen in Gonen's vision floated in the area once inhabited by the wick, with a sad smile on her face.
"Thank you," she mouthed, before looking into the distance. She started to fade away until she was no longer there. Karma smiled and sat down on the ground. He would catch up with his friends, but first he needed a quick…..nap. And with that Karma fell unconsciousness onto the cavern floor.
Dara POV:
Dara had enough. She was tired. She missed the village, she missed being in a comfortable bed. She was tired of fighting terrifying vine creatures. And most of all she was somber. Her childhood friend, someone who she had known almost her whole life, and hopefully would have spent the rest of her life with, tried to kill her.
How was she supposed to deal with that? He barely even blinked before he fired that arrow to her shoulder. Why did he do that? She thought he cared about her. About them. Did he lie? If so did he lie about other things?
If he was so indifferent about leaving her to die, then what about that incident with the Thorn Beast. Did he lie during that too? No, she saw Gonen trying to kill him. But what if he did something to deserve that. Gonen had been nothing but respectful the entire trip.
Dara didn't like all of these comprehensions that kept popping into her head, but she couldn't get rid of them. She needed to think about these things. She didn't want to live a lie, a lie formed by Finn. But she didn't have to focus on that now. Her and Gonen were heading back to the village, and the cave had brought them surprisingly close to the village.
The two ran in silence. But it wasn't because of their missing comrade. Karma was strong, and he had gotten the impurity sword, so Dara did not doubt that he could defeat the wick.
The silence was instead because Dara was too scared to speak. Their relationship was strained if they had one at all, and Dara was fine with that. She would have been fine with that for the rest of her life. But with her thoughts and feelings being uprooted, she didn't know what to think anymore.
Luckily she wasn't left with her thoughts much longer, as the village was coming into the clearing. The pair slowed down, and started to walk. Dara sighed in relief when she noticed all the villagers waiting outside the village gates. They looked tense, but Dara didn't care. She was just happy to see someone familiar again, that she didn't go on a death trip with.
Dara waved her hands out to signal that they were back, but the villagers didn't respond. Dara was confused. Was there something wrong? She soon noticed that all of the villagers had weapons in their hands, and looked prepared to fight. Prepared to fight what?
"Don't worry guys! We took care of the sword!" Dara yelled, trying to alert them that there was no need to fight. The villagers didn't react, and instead pointed their weapons at the two.
A villager walked to the front.
"All weapons to the ground!" the man screamed. Dara was confused, but complied, dropping her sword to the ground. Gonen stood warily in the background but did not put down his spear.
"Drop the weapon!" the man screamed again, and Dara shot Gonen a look. Gonen reluctantly put down his spear. At the drop of his spear, the armed villagers rushed to the pair and surrounded Gonen.
"What?!" Gonen yelled in confusion, and before long he was cuffed and was being dragged away.
"What are you doing?!" Dara yelled and was about to rush toward Gonen until a gentle hand stopped her. Dara looked back to see the village chief, Echer, smiling gently at her.
"Village chief, what are you doing?" Dara questioned. Echer smiled.
"There is no reason to worry, the threat is being taken care of," Echer told her.
"What threat? Gonen isn't a threat," Dara said frantically.
"Oh dear, he must have done something to you. It's fine. We can help you. Finn told us what treacherous things Gonen did," Echer said, shaking his head in disappointment.
"...Finn?" Dara questioned. She looked behind Echer, and all color drained from her face. Standing behind Echer was Finn, a small smile on his face.
"Hello, Dara".
Karma POV:
Karma woke up, with a rather annoying cramp. Getting up from the ground, karma surveyed his surroundings. Oh yeah. He took a nap. Karma stretched out his limbs and looked at his swords. He did it. His goal since leaving Widow's Valley was complete, and he would have to find a new way to spend his immortal life.
"Enough pondering the meaning of my existence. Let's go back to the village," Karma said to himself and sheathed his swords. It was great that he brought an extra sheath for the other sword. Both swords rested on the back of his waist, and Karma smiled. He was apparently the first person to ever wield both swords. 'Doing the impossible isn't exactly new to me' Karma thought to himself with a smile.
Karma started to head out of the cavern. Having both swords near him just made him feel stronger. Karma started to run back to the village. He was close because of the cavern, so it was only a matter of time until he made it back.
Gonen POV:
Gonen continued to struggle in his restraints, as the armed villagers pushed him to an unknown location. He didn't know what he did to deserve this, but if he had to guess it probably had something to do with the blonde weasel that was smiling innocently near the village chief. Gonen should have killed him when he had the chance.
Dara was frozen, and Gonen no longer had his weird abilities (he was fine with that, but it didn't help with the situation), and Karma was no were to be seen. He didn't have his spear, and there were too many villagers to fight. Even if he did have his weapon, harming one of the villagers probably wouldn't end well for him.
He should have stayed in his hut. Lived the rest of his days there. Sure it was lonely, and every day was the same, but at least he had some semblance of peace. He helped save the villagers from the cause of their inevitable destruction, and what he gets is imprisonment. Gonen was dragged up to a stage, facing the angry mob.
Gonen glared at Finn, who was no longer looking at him and was now looking at Dara.
"Dara, are you ok? I know that bastard attacked you with some kind of poison," Finn said in a worried voice. Dara didn't say anything but just continued to stare at him like she had seen a ghost.
"The poor girl, I can't believe that monster did something to her!"
"He doesn't deserve to live!"
"How could he hurt Dara!"
"Why did that man let such an abomination on their mission!"
"That is what you get when you trust someone like him!"
"Die!"
"Die!"
"Die!"
"Die!"
"Die!"
The villagers continued to scream at Gonen, pointing their weapons at him. Dara didn't speak, but she seemed to be quivering. Gonen held his head low, as the villagers threw things at him.
."Hold on, hold on," Finn said, walking up onto the stage.
"We shall no longer show mercy to this monstrosity, let us end this village's misery!" Finn yelled, getting a loud cheer from the villagers.
"This man had stolen some of the power of the sword, and wanted more of it, doing anything to get it. He attacked his own comrades, to try to achieve his goal. The man named Karma died because of him, someone who came to this village looking to help. If that isn't despicable, I don't know what is!" Finn yelled, getting another cheer from the villagers.
Finn looked to Echer, who nodded. Finn walked over to a corner, and grabbed an ax, and lugged it over his shoulder. He set it down, before putting his face closer to Gonen, who was being held by two of the strongest villagers.
"Goodbye Gonen," Finn whispered, before raising his ax over his head. Gonen shut his eyes, but before Finn could bring it down, someone screamed.
"STOP!" Dara yelled, breaking out of her stupor and rushing onto the stage. She grabbed one of the villager's weapons and pointed it at Finn.
"He is lying to you all. Finn tried to kill us, and is now trying to cover up his tracks!" Dara yelled, her legs shaking. Finn turned to Dara, and she was worried to see a small polite smile.
"It seems the poison is affecting her worse than I thought. The monster has brain-washed her," Finn declared, making the crowd gasp in shock.
"What!? No, I'm not-" Dara started, but no one could hear her over the sounds of anger and surprise.
Gonen looked to the crowd and realized something. Finn's influence was massive. Nothing he or Dara did would matter to them. Finn had them wrapped around his finger. Gonen looked to Dara, who looked right back. Gonen smiled.
"Thank you," he mouthed, before turning to the crowd. Finn shook his head, before reading the ax again. This time though, no one interrupted him, and he brought the ax down. Gonen closed his eyes, ready for the imminent pain.
SHLINK
Gonen waited but was surprised to find that his head was still attached to his neck. He opened his eyes, to see Karma, holding out the impure sword, blocking the ax. Finn's eyes widened in surprise, before stumbling back.
"I t-thought you were d-dead," Finn stuttered, slowly backing up.
"You would think that huh?" Karma asked with a smile, pointing his sword at Finn.
"Karma, what is the meaning of this!" Echer yelled, getting up. Karma ignored him and continued to look at Finn.
"Which one are you more afraid of losing. Your life…" Karma turned to the crowd, "...or your reputation?" Finn's face turned white, as he struggled to speak.
"I..I..I…" Finn tried to speak but failed to.
"I can't believe it!" Karma said, raising his voice so that everyone could hear him.
"The villagers are really listening to a man that left his allies for dead not once, but twice!" Karma declared, shocking the villagers. Karma pulled up his pants, to show his arrow wound.
"Shot two of his comrades with an arrow, tried to shoot the third. Karma looked to Dara, who also showed her arrow wound. The crowd gasped.
"And you guys still follow him? Man, that's sad, I've heard of sheep but damn!"
The crowd was loud, and Karma looked back to Finn, who started to shake.
"Guess it's your reputation… and your life," and before Finn could say anything, Karma was already behind him. With a thud, Finn's head fell to the ground. The crowd screamed.
"You wanted an execution, there you go," Karma said, willing the blood off his blade. The crowd was starting to get louder and louder, and before Karma could do anything, a blinding flash erupted in the air in front of the crowd.
"I-Ianira?" Echer questioned, looking at the figure that was floating in the air. The villagers went silent, staring at the women in awe. Karma smiled, the wick's spirit could finally have her peace. The woman opened her mouth.
"Don't touch…. MY SON!" Ianiri yelled, her voice sending shockwaves out through the crowd. Echer doubled over.
"Your son?" he questioned, looking over to Gonen, surprise evident in his face.
Ianiri didn't respond and instead floated over to Gonen, whose eyes were wide in shock.
"My son," Ianiri started, tears rolling down her face. Gonen had tears falling as well, and was doing his best to keep it in. The two villagers that were holding him quickly backed away, and Ianiri broke Gonen's cuffs.
"I don't know what to say, I-" Gonen started, but was cut off when Ianiri held up a finger to his mouth.
"I can't stay much longer, my child. I just need you to know that I love you. I always have, and always will," Ianiri said, smiling. She placed a kiss on Gonen's forehead.
"Mom, I love you too," Gonen said through his tears, hugging Ianiri. She smiled, before starting to fade away.
"Goodbye".
Karma stood on the mountainside, looking out on the view. He heard footsteps but did not move to see who it was. He knew who it was.
"Hey guys," Karma said, smiling. Gonen and Dara walked up to him and sat on either side of him.
"What are you going to do next?" Gonen asked, settling down.
"I think I'll relax for a bit. I have eternity to have adventures, might as well settle down for a year or two," Karma said, looking up to the sky.
"Your immortal?" Dara questioned.
"Partial. I can still die," Karma answered. Dara didn't seem surprised by it though and followed Karma's gaze.
"What are you guys going to be doing," Karma asked. Surprisingly, it was Dara who spoke first.
"Echer isn't the village chief anymore, and the people need guidance. I was hoping to make us better, so the same mistake doesn't happen over again," Dara said, determination evident in her eyes. Karma smiled.
"What about you Gonen?" Karma asked.
Gonen sighed.
"It won't be easy to forgive the villagers, but I think I will be able to do it eventually. Until then, I'm going to explore all that this planet has. The time I spent out there was the best in my life," Gonen said, hugging his spear.
Karma smiled.
"To the future!" Karma said, raising his hand. The two next to him looked at him weirdly, before shrugging.
"To the future!"
(Hey guys, it's me the author. I got a couple of things to say, so if you are bored enough to read the A/N, that's good cause some of this stuff is important. Let's start it off.
First off, we reached 100 followers. That is pretty cool if you ask me. I just wanted to say thanks for the support, and I hope I can continue to give you the content you enjoy. Also, favorites are not that far behind so thanks for that as well. I'll do my best.
We finally finished the legendary sword's arc, and the Impurity sword mini-arc, so I'm glad that id finally out of the way. That doesn't mean that the swords aren't important anymore, or that they won't plot later on *wink wink*.
Because we finished, I want to go over the rest of my story and do some fixing up and improvement. I like where I am at, but I have a feeling it could be better, so I can't promise a chapter this week. You could read the story over if you want to. I'm not making any major changes, but it will still be better than before. Also, some of you guys are really wondering about the ships, or when we are going to see the chaos army, and all I'm going to say is that you will find out in due time. I feel like a lot of the stories of this time rush this type of stuff, and if you haven't noticed my story is going to be pretty long, so buckle up, and wait because I will not disappoint.
So yeah, there might not be a chapter next week, we reached 100 followers, and I think that is about it. Thanks for reading chapter 19, and I hope you read chapter 20, Task Force Takedown.)
edit:
the editing is going a lot faster than I thought it was going, so there will be a chapter this week. Suprise!
