The Pharaoh's chamber was silent that night, the only audible sounds being the gentle burning of the fire, and the soft whistle of the nightly breeze coming in from the open windows.

Yugi shivered, as her husband's fingers trailed down her porcelain thigh. Instinctively, she parted her legs, allowing him access in between. The Pharaoh's crimson eyes gazed over her exposed chest, so intensely, she felt as if she was going to be ignited by the fire of his passion.

Like a thirsty man before a pond, Atem lowered down to grab a perky nipple between his lips, his hands coming to cup the Queen's round breasts. She arched her back, letting out a soft moan, as her fingers tangled in the man's soft locks.

"Yugi…" The Pharaoh murmured, his hot breath tickling the now wet area. He moved onto the other nipple, nipping at the bud, before suckling it, then dragging his lips down to pepper burning kisses onto her stomach. "I missed you so much…"

Yugi let out a breathy laugh, looking down at her husband with fond eyes.

"Missed me? Nnh…" She winced, as she felt Atem's hot mouth pressed against her inner thigh. "I was barely gone a few hours, my dear."

Atem lifted his head up, an almost childish frown twisting his gorgeous features.

"Yes. And it was unbearable," he stated, before lying between her open legs, his hands finding their spot on her round hips, while his tongue dipped into dipped into her entrance.

Yugi hummed, bliss spreading throughout her whole body.

"I couldn't kiss you… I couldn't touch you…" Atem continued, as he began lapping around the area, his hair tickling her just slightly.

"You had me this morning…" she chuckled breathlessly, though the hilarity was lost the moment she felt Atem's lips wrapping around her clitoris.

He sucked, the rotating motion of his tongue making her lose her grasp on reality.

"It's never enough…" She heard him say.

The Pharaoh adored his Queen.

Since the moment they met that fated day when the girl accompanied her father during a diplomatic trip to form an alliance with his father, the great King Akhenamkhanen, now former ruler of Egypt, he'd adored her.

At the time, Atem was the charming and unruly crown prince; while he was smart and caring at heart, he always got up to troubles; sneaking out of the palace, seducing young noble women and commoners alike, skipping his lessons and stealing his cousin Set's favourite tunic while he was bathing.

Indeed, it was due to one of his pranks on Set, that Atem found himself bursting into the throne room, in an attempt to escape his cousin's wrath, unaware that important business was being conducted within the room.

The first thing the young prince had saw upon entering the room were a pair of bright, gorgeous amethyst eyes that were staring right back at him, a little surprised, a little knowing.

Princess Yugi had to be one of the most beautiful creatures the gods had ever bestowed upon Earth. Lithe and delicate, her skin was as pale as the moon, such an unusual sight within the Land of Ra. Her features were as if chiselled by a divinely inspired sculptor. She was beautiful, and it took Atem's breath away, so much so that, when questioned by his irate and slightly embarrassed father in regard to his rushed presence in the throne room, the prince had not even been able to utter a word. And while the Pharaoh apologised to the other man for his son's lack of manners, the princess' lips had curved into a cheeky little smile, as she'd tilted her head to the side, gazing over the starstrucked prince.

From that moment on, Atem had decided that Yugi was going to be his. Little did he know, the princess was going to give him a much harder time than what he'd originally anticipated. After all, the beautiful prince of Egypt had never struggled to find company in his bed.

But Yugi was not quite like any other woman he'd encountered before; during the summer she and her father spent in his country, not once did she fall for his flattery, his expensive gifts or his charming ways. Every time Atem would make a move on her, she would give him that cheeky little smile, dismissing his love declarations. The thing was, the lovely princess did not disdain his company; quite the opposite, in fact.

During that summer, under her suggestion, they spent all their available time together, chatting in the prince's private garden, lounging on a boat on the Nile, looking at the stars from the boy's balcony. Yet not once, not once did she concede to him. And the more time Atem spent with the princess, the more he fell into his own trap and, consequently, falling in love with her.

Just like him, the princess was highly educated, sometimes displaying knowledge that even he lacked in. And so, they often engaged in long conversations and debates. Atem could not get enough of hearing her speak; she was smart, witty, at times teasing in her own way.

They played games together, too, and Atem found in the princess the worthy opponent that he'd been looking for. Sometimes he won, sometimes she did. But mostly, they learnt from each other, to the point that, by the end of that summer, the last game was a head-to-head duel that lasted for hours, ending up in an unusual tie.

Atem's heart felt as if it'd been split in two when he'd said goodbye to her, watching as her ship faded into the horizon.

After the princess left, something changed. Suddenly, the prince was not quite as rebellious as he used to be. He paid attention to his lessons, he began following his father to the temple, the throne room, to more and more official events, until he even began taking up more and more responsibilities on his own. It'd become clear by the time he turned eighteen that Atem was going to be a great Pharaoh. But something was missing, and the Pharaoh knew it too.

The following summer, King Akhenamkhanen invited princess Yugi and her father back to Egypt. This time around, Atem did not attempt lure the princess into his bed anymore, instead courting her as she deserved. And this time, when it came time for Yugi's father to return to his kingdom, the princess didn't follow.

When Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen passed into the afterlife, it was Yugi who consoled the heart-broken prince, holding him close and giving him the strength to face what was to come. It was then that Atem asked the princess to marry him.

Yugi felt Atem's fingers gently slide inside of her, as the man propped himself up to be able to kiss her stomach again. The skilled digits began moving, spreading her out with care.

"Priest Set told me that… hmm… he requested that you accompany him to Men-nefer in five days' time…"

The Pharaoh growled lowly, displeased to be reminded of the sour argument he'd had with his cousin that day, during such a pleasant time.

His fingers curled inside her, hitting that spot that made her melt.

"What about it?" He muttered.

Atem adored his Queen, and it was no secret. He adored her mind, her intelligence, her beauty and, most importantly, he regarded her opinion the highest.

The Pharaoh was a good monarch, understanding yet firm, always looking out for the good of his country and his subjects. However, he had retained some of the stubbornness of his youth, which meant that he often bumped heads with his advisors, even though it was usually about rather minor matters. And there was only one person that could break the chains of his pride, and that was his exotic consort.

"Are you not going to go?" Yugi asked, as he felt her husband's fingers retracting. She took that opportunity to pull herself up, rolling onto her stomach to lay between Atem's bent legs. Her palms pressed against the caramel thighs, as she came face to face with his arousal.

Her amethyst eyes looked up, as her lips grazed over the pulsing head of the Pharaoh's cock. She felt him flinch, and she smiled, before wrapping a hand at the base, moving it up and down gingerly.

Atem hesitated; perhaps, his mind was struggling to keep up with the conversation, while his beautiful wife was about to perform such erotic actions. He sucked in a breath, as Yugi began sucking at the tip of his cock, sending a series of shivers down his spine.

"My presence is not required…" he sighed, his fingers coming to tangle into the woman's hair, pushing them away from her gorgeous face, "Set is just being a pain."

The low humming from Yugi invited a low groan out of the man's lips, as he shut his eyes closed, enjoying the way his wife had begun engulfing his length as far as her mouth would allow her too – which, to his pleasure and downfall, was rather far. It was heavenly. He really didn't need the help, as he'd been hard since the moment he'd entered the room and seen his wife in the midst of getting changed for bed.

Yugi's motion was slow and somewhat sloppy, more focussed on making him weak than trying to rile him up, and soon, the Pharaoh of Egypt was like a malleable object within the Queen's hands.

The woman pulled away with a wet 'pop', before trailing her hands up and onto his shoulders. She propped herself up, and gently sat on the man's lap, as Atem's hands promptly placed onto her hips.

"You should still go, my dear. It's good for your people to see you engaged with their affairs."

Her hand reached behind her back, taking a hold of her husband's member, before sinking down slowly onto it. She sighed, her brain lagging for a moment as she leaned her head back once her cheeks touched the King's legs.

She began moving, up and down with the patient confidence of someone who knows her partner all too well. Atem's hands fell down, as he silently gasped, only to find a hold on her cheeks. His brows were furrowed, as he began thrusting up.

The Queen smiled fondly, pushing herself closer until her breasts were pressed against Atem's chest.

"You don't even have to talk to him, if you don't want to," she murmured against his ear.

The Pharaoh adored his Queen, and the high council knew that well. Often did Yugi get approached by one of the priests, subtly begging her to sway the King's opinion in their favour. However, Yugi valued her husband's decisions; Atem was witty and smart, and he always thought things through. He wasn't a fool, and the priests were insulting him by viewing him as someone who could easily be persuaded by her bosoms. Yugi respected the trust the Pharaoh had bestowed upon her, and she would've never abused such privilege. And so, she rarely followed their directions, only offering her advice when the King genuinely asked for it.

But there were times, small instances in which a request came her way and, if she deemed it legitimate, she would work her subtle magic on her lover. This time was one of those.

Though Set had not explicitly said so, Yugi had read between the lines, and understood that Atem had refused to comply to his request for reasons that went beyond the request itself. More likely, the Pharaoh's cousin had expressed himself in some unpleasant form; perhaps, they'd clashed previously that day, and Atem's pride had roared in disdain when approached with Set's demand. This one time, Yugi knew that her husband's reasons were not the fruit of careful pondering, but impulsiveness. And so, this once, she intervened.

Atem's hands roamed up on her back, then his arms wrapped around her figure, pulling her into a tight hug, as he hid his face between the soft lumps of flesh on her chest. He sighed.

"He's so annoying," he muttered, the pace of his hips growing impatient, all of a sudden.

"I know. I know…" Yugi murmured, her voice now laboured from the growing arousal within her stomach, "Pay him no mind, my love."

Suddenly, Atem's movements halted, but only briefly, just the time for him to push her down on the mattress and lean forward.

He slid back inside her in one smooth motion, and Yugi finally let out a well-refrained moan. She arched her back and her body trembled in delight under the now deeper and fasters ministrations her husband was delivering.

She cursed in her native language, and that seemed to spur Atem on. He'd always loved making her temporarily forget the language they spoke together; and when that happened, Yugi knew she was done for.

Her legs shook under the Pharaoh's powerful thrusts, now hastened and erratic, signalling that he was also losing himself within her body as much as she was in his.

"Yugi… Yugi… my beautiful wife…" she heard him murmuring, and Yugi's vision went white, her inner muscles contracting around Atem's girth, as she released.

Her husband followed forth, a moan that sounded much like her name on his tongue, as he filled her up. Atem rode his orgasm with a few more shallow thrusts, before slowly halting his movements, still buried inside of her.

The Queen blindly reached for her husband's face, cupping his cheeks and pulling him down and into a kiss.

As their breaths evened out, she felt him slowly sliding out of her, before being pulled into a loving hug. As always after they made love, Atem wrapped an arm around her waist and pressed her close to his chest, nuzzling against the top of her head.

They were silent for a moment, and Yugi could already feel her eyes closing.

Then, Atem spoke.

"I'll go to Men-nefer with that jackal."

Yugi smiled, tiredly, and pressed a kiss where Atem's heart beat.

"And I'll be here when you return, my King."

Atem smiled and, with that promise in mind, his eyes closed, leading him into a sound slumber.

The Pharaoh adored his wife because, above all, she understood him like no one else.
